Feeling the Shift, Self-Observation and Expansion

newsletter_tree2

We are all feeling the shift–the motion of photons into new patterns, the alteration of life on the planet, and subtle changes within our perception of life. Sometimes, it’s helpful to recognize aspects of the shift. By simply observing, we become more aware.

1)  Energy moves differently. Time moves quickly, then slows. Life can feel incredibly tense and dramatically beautiful. Our energy level ebbs and flows. Our emotions, thoughts, and perceptions of life change with the energetic flow. The interesting part of the shift is understanding our inner power to alter the placement of our vibrations. We can focus on pink light or imagine ourselves in a higher state of being.  This process can take minutes, hours, or days.

2) Nature can provide amazing energy. The natural world holds a slighter higher vibration than we do. By connecting with the earth and enjoying the beauty, we can heal our body, manifest more quickly, and move into a softer state of consciousness. It’s particularly effective to absorb energy through the soles of feet and through the tips of the fingers.

3)  Our ability to create is expanding; it’s also changing. It can take longer to manifest a desire, which can require a great deal of visualization and meditation. Or we may entertain a thought and experience almost instant manifestation.  We’re learning more about the process of creating together and the power of aligning with the inner self. Some of the biggest questions about creating involve time, consistent factors, and state of mind. We’re beginning to understand more in this new age.

4)  As we clear timelines (relationships, karma/trauma, and events from the past), our perception of ourselves alters. We may have compassion where we lacked understanding, create boundaries where we had none in the past, or feel greater love for the self. We may also find greater courage and trust. (This can involve dropping old friends and connections while finding new ones.)

5)  Our inner vision—intuition—is becoming stronger. We suddenly know why our energy rises or our energy falls. We know it comes from another person, place, or event. We may also have inner knowing about the cause of events and/or a clear read of another person’s motives. We may know what other people are thinking or feel strongly affected by their energy field. It’s helpful to note when our intuition is correct. We can note the difference in our state of mind, which develops our skills.

6)  There is a desire to relinquish control and let the universe do its thing. A Bigger Force is at play, and it wants the best for us. There is a deep realization of the power of letting go while tuning into this beautiful energy of love and light. We may experience a reawakening of hope. We continue working with all of our heart but surrender to the universe in the very, same moment.

7)  On the light worker level, there is an understanding that we share our light best by aligning with our true presence. It doesn’t matter if we work from 9-5 and/or where we work. Wherever we are, we lift up the world by aligning with our inner presence. It’s the very best way of sharing love and light. (We often find our dharma from this placement of consciousness.) It’s a new level of self-acceptance!

Creating More Peace

news_mandala

Here’s a brief meditation on creating peace. Feel free to share. For those of you who prefer to read, here’s my latest article on peace from Spirit of Maat ezine (spiritofmaat.com)

Creating More Peace

Barbara Marciniak said, “You must learn to end the wars in your world by ending them in your mind.”  It feels logical to proceed by embracing peace within our mind and heart. Thought and emotion are known to impact the energetic field, and they are measurable in quantum science. (Everyone has been affected positively and negatively by another person’s emotions or thoughts.)

Peace is a state of mind, which occurs within the stillness of the inner self. It is a higher frequency—a set of vibrations emitted by the inner self.  In general, it is accompanied by a set of feelings, sensations, and a specific visual. When we connect with the inner self, there is an absence of conflicting thought. It is the state associated with stillness—an alignment with the heart.

In this space of connection, we encounter universal concepts such as peace, love, harmony, and joy. In general, the concepts are similar for everyone, but we color them with individual sensations and visualizations. From a place of stillness, it is possible to project a personal vision of peace into the world around us.

In alchemy, it’s said that every particle of matter is composed of light. Matter responds to higher frequencies and changes its shape. (This is seen in cymatics as well as Masaru Emoto’s work with water.) At any rate, mind over matter has been demonstrated many times.

Harmonious vibrations—which are free from duality—can affect physical matter. These vibrations could be described as higher frequencies, which are generated and received by people who are capable of perceiving and projecting them. When a “higher” visualization or feeling is received and repeated throughout many energy field, it is naturally amplified. When many of us focus on our personal sensation of peace repeatedly, it eventually affects the overall energy—as well as the conceivable future.

Mahatma Ghandi thought a concept or movement was much more powerful when it promoted what it stood for rather than fighting against what it opposed. It is a non-dualistic view, based on a simple focus on a higher concept. (When we are connected to our inner self, there is no duality—only wholeness, which provides sensations, which flow from this place of being. By projecting those thoughts and feelings strongly, we affect the matter or physical world around us.)

Coming from a place of wholeness does not mean closing our eyes to the darkness in the world. But it does involve limiting judgement and refraining from deep discussions about wrongness on earth. That’s because negative people and places thrive on negative energy. It’s the best way of creating more of what we don’t want.

The Age of Aquarius focuses on group endeavors, collective consciousness, higher thought, and the quantum field. Higher thought comes when the mind is connected with the heart. It’s easy to identify those thoughts because they are clear, align with universal concepts, and often bring a feeling of softness and relief. More importantly, it’s possible to project those thoughts to others and to the world-at-large. It’s how the quantum field works.

Tips:

1)      Meditating on a personal feeling of peace is easier than seeing peace for the world. From place of connection, it is easily expanded and sent to others as well as geographical locations.

2)      When we identify a strong sensation of peace for ourselves, we automatically vibrate it outward. (Change begins within personal world.)

3)      It’s helpful to choose a color, symbol, or identify a specific energy as peace. The soul often reads energy in symbols. It can be sent to others.

4)      Spend 5 or 10 minutes each day in meditation. In this place, there is no movement between polarities. There is only love and peace. Everyone can contribute to the effort in this way.

5)      Avoid television, violence, and lower vibrations. Try to keep discussions focused on the positive and good changes within the world. (When something causes a strong upset or emotion, try Ho’oponopono or seeing the opposite of the situation.)

6)      Work on eliminating personal judgement, particularly of friends, co-workers, and loved ones. It’s better to see the “good” in them and accept their place of being. And it’s more positive to work on personal peace. (Judgement causes movement between the higher and lower self.)

7)      Create a personal vision of peace in the future and dwell on it occasionally.

8)      With all metaphysical activity, we have to operate partially on faith while believing in the universe and our power to bring about change.

Simple Techniques to Alter Your Life

newsletter_heartsoul

Here are a few, simple techniques to alter your frequency and bring positive change into your life.
1) Spend two or three minutes imagining life as you would like to experience it. Feel the softness, happiness, and the loveliness of connection with the Divine. Imagine others responding positively to you and add happy events in the near future. See yourself living with a feeling of happy anticipation.
2) Identify the feeling of connection with the inner self. Deepen the feeling and imagine experiencing this sensation more often in the future, particularly with the realization of your desire.
3) Life is always better when you live at a higher vibration. A higher vibration includes more light from the inner self, a feeling of love, vitality, energy, and positive thought. A simple way of raising vibration is sending love (pink light) to every molecule of the room around you-and to yourself. (Light raises the frequency of everything. You could also imagine the room as brighter. The appearance of light increases frequency. Loving yourself alters your life.)
4) Reflect on the flow of life when everything moves smoothly with feelings of peace and happiness. By reflecting on the sensation, you pull it into your life. The practice works with any emotion. In our society, there’s a tendency to focus on negativity. Break the pattern and create joy!
5) Practice thinking and speaking positive thoughts. Notice the positive. See the positive when life moves in a negative direction. By placing your attention on the positive, you magnetize it into your life. Attention draws energy to a point of focus. (With thoughts, the focus comes from the placement of the mind.)
6) Learn to alter emotion. Emotions change many times in one day, particularly in response to new information. They also fluctuate with your body, reflecting sleeping and eating patterns as well as habitual reactions. All emotions are not real. (Focusing on pleasant emotions helps in raising vibrations, which can completely change a situation or difficulty. The level of your vibrations often affects how reality manifests.)
7) As strange as the energies are, they do support intuitive, mystical work. Use this time to develop and believe in your dreams. See good things for other people and send waves of peace and love often. (Sending light and seeing good things for others actually raises your frequency and helps with personal manifestations.)

You have a great deal more power than you know. Choose one exercise and practice it several times a day for a few weeks. You may feel surprised at the changes you can create.

Consciously Manifest More

news_newlandscape

As energies move consistently between the old and the new world, it’s important to work on manifestation. The main reason for focus is that we are already creating—and it makes a huge difference to create with kindness and love. Look at it as consciousness (light) versus subconscious programming (darkness.)

The whole point of awakening lies in experiencing the inner self and a state of love, which is derived from the heart space. When we are in this space, we create very quickly through our thoughts and emotions. When we consciously create, we quickly become aware of aspects of the self, which are in alliance with the process. (When aspects of life—or the self—are out of alignment, it’s obviously important to change them.)

  1. The new energies amplify our emotions, connectivity, and experience of life. By visualizing a positive desire, the mind tends to focus on healing, love, success, and happiness. It lifts the mind out of judgement, lower emotions, and personal issues. It also gives alignment with others, who are in a similar place in collective consciousness, which increases our light.
  2. We become happier when focusing on a positive desire. The practice of manifestation teaches inner connection, harmony, and sensations of peace and love. Over time, this placement of consciousness begins to displace unhappy images, habits, and expectations. (We tune into ourselves and the universe.)
  3. Part of any manifestation involves listening to our intuition and “good” actions. Intuition leads to the right thoughts, feelings, and actions to create any desire. Good actions are part of manifestation because listening to the universe compels compassion for others.
  4. The process of manifestation teaches about the power of repetition and connection. A great deal of repetition is required to successfully create a desire. Typically, a desire refers to a particular aspect of life such as success, health, love, or spirituality. The image and “feeling” must be repeated several times on a daily basis—and it must be felt with all of our being. (Again, it teaches about placement of consciousness.)
  5. The placement of consciousness and projection of a desire can be repeated for others. We can learn to see wonderful things for others, conscious realizations, and expression of gifts. Beyond this, there is a very, strong desire to share the love and light of the universe. (Of course, it should be shared with discernment.)
  6. When we consciously create, we vibrate above mass consciousness. We no longer feel lower vibrations. We experience the joy and peace of a higher frequency. We see the potential expansion of life. We also expand our imagination by visualizing an “unknown” aspect of life, which we haven’t yet experienced.
  7. True desires come from the heart–the inner self. We learn to recognize the feeling of desires of the true self and differentiate between the somewhat anxious or heavy feelings of the ego (lower thoughts and patterns.) Eventually, manifestation brings joy from the discovery of our inner gifts and faith in the processes of the universe.

When the World Seems Dark

treewindow

Sometimes, the world seems dark and strange. It’s difficult not to feel specific world events, but it’s important to raise our vibration–if we want things to change in a positive sense.

Below are a few of my favorite techniques. These tips and techniques are helpful in raising our vibration and seeing the goodness in the world. By raising our vibration, we move back into peace and harmony, which pulls in the frequency of positive change.

  1. Affirm the power of love and have faith in the universe. Believing in the power of love and light is part of utilizing it. (The “feeling” and faith are part of sending light. Visualization and connection are also important.)
  2. Send light and love to the geographical location of any disturbance. Send light to everyone, who is involved in the problem. Imagine love and light changing and raising the energy of the location.
  3. Focus on peace and let it radiate through you–and out into the world. Make a strong choice about placement of consciousness. Encourage others to do the same.
  4. See the opposite of a current situation. See peace instead of violence.  See a safe and beautiful world. (Take 5 or 10 minutes to “see” this clearly.)
  5. Believe in the power of spiritual work. Meditating, thinking positive thoughts, and helping others do a great deal in creating a better world. The work helps, and the desired change is coming.
  6. Avoid reactive people. It’s impossible to observe when people strongly express their opinion. Stay neutral and work from a place of love. Observe and detach from the media. (We’re leaving the time of Kali Yuga when negative vibrations were attractive and inviting. The media makes life seem worse by focusing on negativity. Choose to be different and stay focused on the positive.)
  7. KNOW there is a great deal of love on this planet. We may not always see it, but love and light are the underlying fabric of matter. And the light is growing. (A good intuitive can “see” it.)

Go Quantum Now!

newsletter_starburst

Less than a century ago, people lived without electricity. Twenty years ago, the internet came into form. The New Age brought lasers, healing with sound/light, and quantum physics.

The New Age is also bringing a new understanding of frequency. Max Planck said, We have no right to assume that any physical laws exist, or if they have existed up until now, that they will continue to exist in a similar manner in the future.”  (Physical reality consists of particles vibrating at a low rate. The low rate of frequency makes objects appear real and solid.)

If we vibrate in harmony with an ideal, an image connected to the soul, or higher truth, the universe responds. Higher frequencies such as light alter reality. The frequency makes “reality”—physical law—respond in an entirely, different way. It’s how small miracles take place.

  1. From a higher level, we can say our soul or inner self is the source of light. When we connect to the inner self, we receive more light. Meditation is connection to source. By connecting to the inner self, we contact a greater source of light within the self—as well as the power of the universe.
  2. When we hold a visualization, which is connected to the inner self, along with positive emotion, the universe amplifies the “visual.” This alignment brings in higher vibrations, which create a stronger, more positive frequency. If we persist with the frequency, reality changes.
  3. The result of the visual aligns with dominant emotions and thoughts—and the substance of the visual. (It can take practice and experimentation.) It’s normal to revise the visual several times as we encounter aspects of it in reality. We often find the visual by discarding old thoughts and beliefs while experimenting with different ways of seeing and feeling life. (it’s how we learn what we truly want—and what we don’t.)
  4. When we alter the energy field with higher, positive perceptions, we begin to live in alignment with the inner self and the universe, which frees us from limiting aspects of physical reality.
  5. With practice, we can create these shifts for others by use of the will. After creating a shift several times, we know the right position of the mind, emotions, spirit, and body. We repeat the technique by using the will to hold the energy in right space.

NOTE: Our limiting beliefs about time and space—as well as the goodness of the world—often limit the outcome of a visualization technique. With time, practice, and right technique, we move into a brighter space, which allows bigger and better manifestations in life.

Turn to the Light

newsletter_colorswirl

Light and love are always the answer. They hold the highest vibrations on the planet. If we call on the light, the universe answers. But it’s easier to access “light” by using specific techniques.

Light responds differently with specific situations and meditations. These brief exercises work well for a variety of a problems, including receiving more enlightenment and understanding. When we see and feel life differently, it often alters into a higher vibration—and brings more positive outcome.

“Real” love feels unconditional, soft, and centered. It brings healing, answers, and gentle self-motivation. It helps in seeing the good in the self and others. It is like looking through a beautiful, rainbow lens with a heart, which feels uplifted and calm. All of the exercises will help in finding this place.

Here are a few tips.

  1. Come to center and find inner self on a daily basis. Meditation helps in finding the true self. From this place, wisdom, self-love, and peace flow. The answer is in the center; it feels simple and true when you find it. (It’s easiest to call in the light by becoming still. It’s helpful to pull inward to feel the inner self. )
  2. Put your attention on happiness. Happiness—like all inner states—requires attention and contemplation. (It’s actually a habit.) Notice all of the things, which bring happiness in your life. Listen to your voice to see if it conveys happiness. Notice your feelings when you look at objects, read emails, or travel short distances. Make a conscious effort to expand and find happiness throughout the day.
  3. Peace acts like a river; it eases and soothes emotion. There are no thoughts when we align with peace, only stillness. Imagine experiencing peace before/after others attempt to pull us into drama. (As our energy level heightens, others try to pull you into their drama. By detaching from their drama and visualizing a happy outcome, we can return to place of peace.
  4. Know that life moves in a cyclical pattern, marked by highs and lows. The challenge lies in finding and observing the pattern, altering emotions, and making “center” or the true self more important than the feelings and situation.
  5. Conflicting thoughts comprise part of spiritual growth. It’s how we put ourselves together and resolve the many parts of the self. When the answer comes, it will be simple. It will resonate with the inner self. Until this time comes, notice the feelings. It’s okay to feel two, conflicting emotions and/or thoughts. Eventually, the thoughts do bring resolution and wholeness.
  6. Pull the mind away from upsetting thoughts and situations. Return to the heart. Practice meditation to return to center, then visualize a positive outcome in a place of stillness.
  7. Know the process is working, and the universe wants to help. While many of these tips and exercises are not logical, they follow spiritual law. Our visualizations thoughts, and emotions alter the course of life because they invoke—and the most  powerful part of our inner being.

Planetary Forecast: Magical New Moon

astronomyconstellation

Dare to dream and to do. Be bold and courageous, but look before leaping. (New Moon appears on April 7.)

It’s an exciting, magical chart with Sun (life, outer self) and Moon (inner self, emotions) closely placed to one another—and Uranus (sudden, spiritual change.) Uranus in Aries brought in the energies of the New Age. When Uranian energies align with the sun and moon, our personal yin and yang, we experience the impetus of spiritual energy coursing through our lives. (The Sabian symbol for the sun and moon is a “Magic Carpet.”)

Spring incites new beginnings as does the sign of Aries. It’s the beginning of the astrological wheel, symbolizing the power to make changes, new patterns in life, and alter the physical with the use of light. This sign can attract and shape change—particularly the motion into the spiritual nature.

Venus is also placed in Aries, suggesting the importance of listening to the heart. All signs and planets are somewhat dualistic. Venus can represent the beauty and adornment of the physical world, but the planet can also illuminate true love, which comes from connection. (Aries can represent the immaturity and egoism of a new soul as the beginning of a cycle. Ruled by Mars, symbolizing energy and assertion, Aries can push life into a higher sphere.)

Mercury sits in Taurus, which is ruled by Venus. It’s a powerful earth sign, which helps with physical grounding, connecting with nature, and practical, pragmatic thoughts. Mercury rules communications, so it gives a balanced way of speaking and thinking about our dreams—and our spiritual life. (Tapping into the frequency of abundance is a spiritual gift, and Mercury in Taurus urges reflection on the relationship between abundance and spirituality—as well as practical thoughts.

Mars in Sagittarius encourages the pursuit of quests, spiritual knowledge, and travel. The goal is seeking wisdom and keeping our eye on the target of inner and outer growth. Mars is conjunct (close) to Saturn, which represents time, karma, and limitation. With both planets placed in the same sign, it’s possible to move through karma and limitation very quickly—if we make the effort.

Mars is conjunct (close) to Saturn, which represents time, karma, and limitation. With both planets placed in the same sign, it’s possible to move through karma and limitation very quickly to transmute the past into a beautiful, new life. It will require meditation and personal insight, but it is wonderful when the planets are so helpful.

Additionally, the sun and moon form a harmonious trine with Saturn, which should give clear vision when we contemplate the present and future of our thoughts, feelings, and the energies that comprise our lives. Sun, moon and Venus also trine Mars, giving an energetic boost to our efforts.

The Challenges

All charts contain challenges. While the planets lend positive support, the square (tension) between Neptune (illusion, idealism) and Jupiter (good fortune) remains. It is the part of the long process of seeing through what we believe and feel (illusion) to find the “truth.” We may feel disillusioned or uplifted. Neptune also rules the imagination, and part of moving through obstacles involves this part of the mind. It’s essential to see life differently when we want to experience a change. It’s helpful to meditate on the fabric of our ideal life—and see it in detail frequently. (Otherwise, the past repeats.)

Pluto is almost exactly square Sun, Moon, and Uranus, suggesting we’ll continue to experience the dredging up of old subconscious material—which might we prefer to forget. The positive side of the square is the presence of the Sun, Moon, and Uranus, who want to transmute into a brand, new (and probably unfamiliar) new life.

Tips:

  1. Wherever Uranus sits in an individual charts, we’ll have surprises. Our interpretation of the new feelings and changes depends on the placement of our consciousness and willingness to step into the flow. (it’s important to remember how powerful we truly are. Hold the best possible vision of all the components of life.)
  2. Pluto can reveal subconscious patterns in surprising ways. Stabilize, center, and see success. Stay willing to release patterns and perceptions.
  3. It’s possible to dream up a new, brighter life–and find the best way to create it. Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, and Uranus (a lot of planets) will support personal expansion. It’s also a wonderful time to work on abundance with Mercury in Taurus.
  4. Use the imagination to see a better world and life. Express willingness and keep your heart open to change. The world changes through us and with us. We influence one another. Stay tuned for big messages, and feel the capacity for growth.
  5. In multiple ways, the chart represents the new energy descending into our physical world. The magical carpet and beauty of a new life feel wonderful, but taking the “ride” surrendering our image of how life should be—and may involve accepting another universal plan.  (Sometimes, the plan is harmony with our construct of the world. Other times, it’s not. In metaphysics, this is called going with the flow. Letting go, trusting, and seeing where the universe leads us.)

Sabian Symbols

Sun and Moon are on Aries 19, “A Magic Carpet Hovers Over the Depressing Reality of Everyday Life.” A magic carpet gives exactly the right energy for seeing life from a heightened perspective. A magic carpet can take us anywhere. Where does our soul want to go?

We can also view other, beautiful realities before making a decision about where to land. Take time to dream up a wonderful life–and imagine several scenarios.

Mercury is placed on Taurus 3, “Natural Steps up to Lawn Blooming with Clover.” It’s another, lovely symbol, reminding us that rewards appear when we step up to our own higher nature—and the possibilities of life. Clover is magical; it grants wishes. It is also green, indicating fertility and growth. And number four (four leaved clover) represents balance and harmony in all spheres, including the physical world.

Venus sits on Aries 3, “A Cameo Shows the Profile of a Man that Suggests the Outline of His Country.” Our individual lives affect the outcome of the whole. There is a special and specific alignment between the inner and outer self. When we find this through spiritual alignment, our lives harmoniously affect the whole. (Dharma or our purpose in life is part of this.)

Mars is placed in Sagittarius 9, “A Mother Leads Her Small Child Step by Step Up the Stairs.” Parents—and those who are responsible for others—use patience and caring to urge the development of skills in youngsters. The same is true on the spiritual path. It’s important to help when we can. (On another level, feminine energy has emerged during the Age of Aquarius. As it grows in strength, it’s important to ask how we can use our energy to nurture, strengthen, and help others to develop their inner gifts.)

Jupiter (retrograde) sits on Virgo 15, “A Fine, Lace, Ornamental Handkerchief”.  It’s interesting symbol because Jupiter rules good luck and beneficence, and the degree is symbolized by keepsakes, which represent emotion. Fine handkerchiefs are kept and used for special occasions, usually those evoking emotion. There is also a feeling of beauty, security, and joy—the value of lovely things, which remain untouched by time.
