Spending, Austrian economics asks us to consider the “cost” of the expenditure. Not the dollar amount but what is NOT going to get purchased, invested, occur,etc. because the money has been used for the purpose of going out for dinner for instance.
My feeling is that as more people get more sophisticated about money and finances than less consumption will occur and the money will be “put to work” producing more money.
I also feel that money is a spiritual concept rather than just binaries on a computer in a bank for instance. Follow the whole money creation process and this becomes apparent. This is a short version of the belief and one can come with questions on it,I welcome these as I really have thought this through. Basic why is money accepted, because it is.
Next every dollar we obtain we get from someone else in exchange for some activity on our part the value to others exceeding the value they would feel from releasing the money to an alternative use.
