Full Moon Forecast: Embracing Change

After a week of stormy skies, the moon appeared, almost full, and luminous—changing the night sky into a beautiful shade of deep blue. Under these soft skies, the full Moon appears on Sept. 6, and Mercury (at last) moves direct, offering clarity of thought and enhanced communications. Only three planets are in retrograde, extending an opportunity to move forward with plans and development of talents and gifts.

The prevalence of fire continues in this chart. Fortunately, Sun (outer life) and Mars (action) are placed in Virgo, an earth sign. Earth offers grounding, vitality, and connection with nature, and Virgo can represent a mystical priestess attuned to the sublime knowledge—or the human quest for perfection, order, and detail. Either way, earth signs open us to the sensuality of our physicality and the beauty of nature.

The Full Moon rises in Pisces, a water sign. Full Moons bring fruition, rain, and germination, so emphasis on water (flooding, fertility, the feminine, emotions) continues. The Moon (inner self, emotions) conjuncts (close to) Neptune, the ruler of seas, the astral world, and illusion/mysticism. The placement brings a mystical, intuitive element to the chart. With  the Moon/Neptune conjunction, dreams/delusion and truth/illusion are part of the influence. It’s beautiful, dreamy, and confusing.

Sun in Virgo and Moon in Pisces square Saturn (time, karma), which may result in sensations of loneliness and/or pensiveness. Sun opposes Neptune (mysticism, idealism), making it difficult to separate illusion and truth. On the positive, Sun trines Pluto (underworld, transmutation), and it can bring regeneration, strength, and the power to overcome obstacles such as those listed above.

Mercury is now direct. Placed in Virgo, it forms a Grand Trine with Saturn (time, karma) and Uranus (awakening/sudden change.) On another level, it can represent applying lessons from the past with awareness (awakening) to create a new future—or using symbols of the past to create sudden upsets and deter awakening. It’s all about where we put our thoughts. (Mercury and Mars (action) are conjunct (close), so our thoughts are likely to incur action and/or a material result.)

Venus

Venus is warm and fiery in Leo, which rules the heart. This placement benefits relationships and monetary matters. Venus (love, material goods, relationships) trines Saturn (lessons, karma), which can give a clear view and good judgement about partnerships and relationships. It’s a stabilizing aspect and increases energy for dealing with trying aspects of relationships.

Mars (action, masculine) is in Virgo, a calmer placement than Leo, which was experienced in recent weeks. Mars forms a lovely Grand Trine with Saturn and Uranus. Again, the planetary energies focus on lessons of the past and the creation of the new world. (Contrast and compare Charlottesville and Houston.) These energies emphasize the importance of acting to share our inner truth, encourage others and send positive messages.

Changing Energies

Jupiter (good fortune) opposes Uranus.  (Jupiter expands, and Uranus seeks change.) In this opposition, Jupiter enlarges our need for a new realty while Uranus brings electrical bolts of energy. The opposition is apparent in the outer world with flooding, fire, and earthquakes. It involves social change, alterations in the workings of relationships, and revolution. Additionally, Jupiter squares (tension) Pluto (underworld), which concerns the earth’s resources. It is about finding and creating justice with monetary systems as well as protecting the earth.

Almost every planet in the chart aspects Saturn, indicating the importance of revisiting the past to identify important values and discard worn-out principles. For example, we’re weeding away structures from the Piscean Age while hopefully mastering unconditional, mystical love with healthy boundaries. Saturn also teaches the importance of continued effort and devotion, which activates the power of the higher collective mind.

Uranus, the electrical planet of awakening and sudden change, trines Mercury, Mars, Venus, and North Node. While the energy is positive, it’s also amplified by the trines, which means manifestation takes place more quickly than usual. Thought (Mercury), love (Venus), and Mars (action) compose part of the dynamic, so stay centered as much as possible. Uranus’ conjunction with North Node in Leo (spiritual direction) indicates the value of following the heart and releasing desires of the ego.

Sun (life) and Saturn (time, karma) square Neptune (illusion, mysticism), diluting and confounding our ability to read life accurately. Illusion and truth are intertwined in these squares, and it’s not unusual to feel confused or misled. But it will pass. (It’s helpful to ask for a clear mind and the presence of truth.)

The chart represents many aspects of global life including intense emotion (Moon/Neptune), increased ability to manifest through thought and action (Grand Trines with Mercury/Mars), balancing the past and future (aspects with Saturn/Uranus), and confusion–which is part of planetary change. It is possible to derive both power and insights at the time of Full Moon, but it’s also necessary to continue the simple tasks of meditation, centering, and focusing on the heart.

Tips:

  1. The outer planets, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, are aspected in this chart, meaning the energies refer to awakening and change in the outer, global world as well as within the self.
  2. Sun and Moon square Saturn, which can cause feelings of sadness or disappointment about the self, success, or the state of the world. It will pass in a few days. Keep the faith.
  3. Grand Trines with Mercury and Mars tend to put our thoughts and actions into physical form more quickly than usual. Take time to focus on inner desires and their outcome. Review before taking action.
  4. Aspects with Neptune can cause difficultly in discerning truth and illusion. Life can feel confusing and/or inspiring, depending on the placement of consciousness.
  5. True safety comes from aligning with the inner self and the universe. Many good “things” are on the way. Remain patient.

Planetary Change: Full Thunder Moon

The Thunder Moon appears on Sunday, July 9, and its name reflects the heat of the season, which brings thunder, lightning, and storms. It’s an appropriate name for this moon chart, which is weighted in fire (passion) and water (emotion.) The energies can create steam (fire/water and heat/emotion) or can be used to forge instruments such as a sword, which cut through blocks and obstacles.

The planets emphasize the use of emotions for dreaming and weaving a new way of life. (Many of us feel the quickening of the New Age, but we must put it into form by feeling and dreaming on an intuitive level.) We are creating a new world by moving into the sphere of feeling/intuiting while releasing illusion about the life that we had before “time” changed.

Sun (life) and Mars (action) in Cancer encourages flowing emotion that originates in the heart, and Moon in Capricorn gives the practical power to bring dreams into physical form. This moon phase focuses on planning and gathering strength, which occurs through “right” action, originating within the inner self. (The full moon adds light to the darkness, which can bring illumination and understanding.)

Mercury (communications) sits in Leo, a fire sign, which loves drama and the center stage. Mercury in Leo is also brave and courageous, making it a wonderful time to express our inner truth and/or speak from the heart. In this placement, it quickens communications and heightens passion.

Lovely Venus (love, beauty, feminine) is placed in Gemini, an air sign. It highlights thoughts and feelings about love, beauty, and possessions. Venus trines Jupiter (good fortune) in Libra, bringing clarity of thought about objects of our passion. (Venus in Gemini can bring too much talk, short travels, or lack of focus. It can also give positive communication, activities, and intellectual focus.)

Venus

Mars (action, masculine) sits n Cancer, a water sign. Mars in Cancer can flow into dreams; it can also become emotional and way-laid by old emotional patterns such as manipulation or martyrdom. On the most basic level, Mars in Cancer offers the opportunity to flow through patterns and find renewal through responses rather than reaction.

Jupiter in Libra continues to bring balance and beauty to a challenging chart. It finds good fortune through clarity and harmonious thoughts. It focuses on beauty through its harmonious trine with Venus, and its square (tension) with Mars, indicates a preference for higher thought—as opposed to emotional reactions.

Saturn (time, past, karma) remains in Sagittarius, providing a continued focus on spiritual practices and dedication. Saturn squares (tension) Neptune (illusion, idealism), indicating the importance of surrendering the idealism and illusion of the past when weaving a new dreamscape for life in the bold New Age. A trine between Saturn and Uranus encourages the emergence a new world, based on blending the mistakes the old and the perception of the new ages.

Sun and Mars in Cancer trine (harmonious) Neptune in Scorpio. The combination of Sun (life) and Mars (action) trine Neptune can lead to beautiful dreams for the manifestation of a new life. Three planets in water can move our emotions in a lovely, tranquil way—and Neptune retrograde awakens our psychic abilities.

Sun and Mars are opposite Pluto (underworld, transformation), which brings the darkness in our personal lives to the surface. Fortunately, we are developing powerful tools such as universal love, meditation, and knowledge of the inner self—which bring substantial light along with the added gifts of imagination and intuition.

Simple Steps for Manifestation

Everyone is already manifesting. The first step is realizing how your thoughts, emotions, and visual imagery affect your life. Meditation naturally alters the flow of visualization as well as the direction of your thoughts and emotions. It softens the negative emotions and opens the heart to love, and conscious visualization activates the energy needed to create a desire.

  • You become more powerful when you consistently meditate and actively visualize. Your meditation and visualization practices actually direct the particles of energy around you into form. (When we don’t consciously direct energy, it takes the form of your lower thoughts.) Your thoughts and emotions take form more quickly and easily when you meditate. You also accumulate or store energy, which makes it easier to navigate through life.
  • Your desires come from a higher source. This higher source (God or the universe) wants you to have prosperity, abundance, love, vitality, and a greater spiritual connection. Creating the positive in your life is part of stepping into your true identity. If you are consistently meditating, you learn how love is the magical substance, which transforms your life.
  • Creating what you want or desire often means “seeing” the opposite of your experience. For example, if you are unhappy in a particular area of life, you must see the exact opposite. If you experience financial loss, you see financial opportunities and gain. If you are broken-hearted, you visualize love coming from all directions in life. (It’s not enough to simply see it. You must feel and embrace it. You make the subjective experience more real than “life.”)
  • Light vibrates at a higher level than “real” life. The rules are different in the quantum field. Lost objects reappear in strange places. Money manifests. You can grow younger, and opportunities appear from nowhere.  The point is not asking how. Trust in the light and universal power. (You don’t need to know how. Stay with practice and act when prompted from the inner self.)
  • If you share your desire with others, you are less likely to manifest it. It’s best to keep quiet. You can always ask other people about their life. If something brings spiritual and physical success, it’s best not to discuss it. Spend your time helping others by seeing good things for them.
  • When you want to give up, you’re probably close to manifesting your desire. There is an energetic rule regarding manifestation. It takes a tremendous effort to manifest the last 5-10% of a desire. People often see success in the early phases, and they feel encouraged in the middle phase. They wonder if it will come into fruition in the last phase. It’s very important to persevere through the last phase. It’s the most difficult step. It requires a great deal of energy, but it is always worth it. And you learn it’s possible to endure through this phase, which typically seems to last forever!

After your desire manifests, you will feel happy and relieved. There is a temptation to put aside the spiritual work, rest, and revel in the results. (Don’t give in.) Actually, it is the most important time to renew your spiritual practice because manifestation is ultimately about drawing closer to the universe and its secrets. It is the realization that happiness, which comes from the inner self, is greater than any material achievement.

Planetary Change, New Moon Forecast

astronomyconstellation

The New Moon appears on October 30, and it brings a great deal of mystical energy. It is an intense lunation with Sun, Moon, and Mercury closely placed in Scorpio. The combination of New Moon, Halloween, and three planets in Scorpio brings a strong surge of energy, particularly when positioned with Halloween–the time when the doors open between the astral and physical world.

Sun (outer life), Moon (inner self, emotions), and Mercury (communications) are placed in Scorpio, the sign that rules birth, death, and sex—all different forms of transformation. Scorpio delivers psychic perception, magnetism, intelligence, passion, and determination. In combination with Halloween, the New Moon will heighten our psychic and intuitive powers.

There is a strong emphasis on emotion with Sun, Moon, Mercury, Neptune, and Chiron placed in water signs. Fortunately, Sun, Moon, and Mercury trine Neptune, bringing a mystical note to the chart. Neptune rules the imagination, dreams, illusion, and mysticism. The challenge lies in stilling unruly emotions and focusing on realistic dreams. But this aspect can make life feel very dreamy and lovely.

Mars (assertion, overall energy) sits in Capricorn, a practical earth sign, and it squares Uranus (spiritual change, quantum field) in Aries. Squares often cause tension, and it can feel as if we’re being pushed and pulled between our spiritual aspirations and the frustrations of physical life. Mars square Uranus can indicate instability and quick, impulsive action, but it can also create positive change for more evolved individuals by pushing them into active pursuit of the spiritual path. (Uranus also represents the quantum field where marvelous changes take place in an instant. With Uranus, they often can feel awkward on the initial level, but they are truly for the best!)

Venus (love, material possession, beauty) affects how we feel about our experiences in life.  When Venus is placed in Sagittarius, there is an emphasis on travel, nature, and philosophical pursuits. Venus squares Neptune (idealism, illusion), which can mean misreading other people through optimism and idealism–and not in a practical sense. For the next week or so, it’s helpful to have boundaries in relationships and refrain from financial excess.

Jupiter (hopes, success) in Libra continues to its influence on partnerships, balance, and beauty. With Jupiter in Libra, there’s a need to continually seek balance between the spiritual/physical worlds and the “real” and mystical experiences. This theme runs through the entire New Moon chart.

One beneficial aspect involves Jupiter squares Pluto. This helpful square can aid in finding the strength to move through weaknesses; it focuses on finding our personal power and strength. Pluto involves the will, and Jupiter rules dreams, good fortune, and benevolence. Both planets can positively affect prosperity. It heightens the possibility of creating desires in reality as well as increasing our potential for a happy, positive life.

Saturn in Sagittarius squares and creates tension with Neptune. The square can cause confusion, making it difficult to focus the mind on the task at hand and to waver between our goals and an aspect of current “reality.”  It also blurs boundaries and makes it difficult to draw lines in relationships. Saturn trines Uranus, which brings a balance of change and stability. In other words, we experience a change followed by a period of adjustment.

This aspect helps a great deal with bringing order into our lives after experiencing a heightened state of consciousness, which often seems upsetting—at least, initially. It allows time to create a structure in the physical world for the results of our inner work.

Tips:

  • The New Moon will provide a great deal of energy—particularly emotional energy. When we feel emotion intensely, it’s important to think about changing our lives in a positive sense and meditating on universal love. It’s also helpful to know emotions are like waves; they rise and fall.
  • Take time to dream and imagine wonderful things, but keep them in perspective. When thinking about dreams and desires, consider the time and energy needed to put them into physical form. (Aspects with Neptune can cause lack of realism and a bit of escapism.)
  • Awakened individuals will become more intuitive and psychic with the passage of the New Moon. The placement of the planets and aspects with Neptune expand our mystical qualities. (Make notes and listen to your inner voice.)
  • Mars square Uranus, and Saturn trine Uranus can help with the manifestation of dreams. Both aspects call in the universal quality of awakening and the path of the soul. (Stay flexible and release resistance to change.)
  • Jupiter and Pluto are in a beneficial position to boost prosperity. Meditate on identifying personal potential and power. Visualize prosperity!

Sabian Symbols

This reading is based on Lynda Hill’s interpretation of the degrees of the zodiac. I often look at this part of the chart before looking at the aspects in a chart and reading the forecast because it presents a story through imagery.

Sun and Moon at 8 degrees Scorpio, “The Silvery Moon Shining across a Beautiful Gem of a Lake.” It’s a lovely symbol, representing the yin aspect of life. The lake (water) represents emotion in a calm, still state that reflects light. The moon reflects the sun, creating a balance on earth.

The symbol represents positive change and good fortune, which occur when our emotions and mind are correctly aligned with the feminine. It’s a wonderful oracle for a new moon.

Mercury sits on 10 Scorpio, “A Fellowship Supper Reunites Old Comrades.” This degree brings up the idea of soul contracts, people from past lives, and memories from our past. (The sign of Scorpio can bring up old memories, people from the past, and repetitive situations for clearing and transmutation.) With its close proximity to the Sun and Moon, this process may be part of the New Moon energy.

Venus at 16 Sagittarius, “Seagulls Fly Around a Ship Looking for Food.” This degree can refer to dependence of the sea gull on the sailors and ship. It can refer to finding or taking sustenance from others. It is the symbol for Venus, which can refer to love and loving relationships. It implies the need for boundaries and noticing when others feed on your energy or take too much from you.

Mars at 24 Capricorn, “A Woman Entering a Convent.” It’s a very interesting symbol for Mars, which refers to action and assertion. Typically, a woman enters a convent for inner contemplation and to escape pressure from the outer world. It may indicate a need to move into a higher spiritual state before taking action in the outer world—particularly with Mars square Uranus, which tends to expand impulsive action.

Jupiter is on 11 Libra, “A Professor Peering over his Glasses at His Students.” The image of a professor and glasses invoke thoughts about the rational, logical, and intellectual world. Truly, seeing someone means putting aside the rational world and looking through the heart. Sometimes, it’s important to put aside “reality” and look for the softer eyes of intuition—and the heart.

Uranus sits on Aries 22, “The Gate Opens to the Garden of All Fulfilled Desires.” This degree is included because Uranus is responsible for many of the spiritual changes experienced in the past 4 years. In metaphysics, the garden refers to spiritual world in which everything is perfect and aligned. All of our desires are met at a higher level of consciousness. Perhaps, it refers to the “change” that follows group awakening when we will find ourselves in a whole, new, beautiful world.

Seeking Light

news_global

As the world shifts and changes, it’s wise to seek love and light. It’s also helpful to learn small, simple techniques that can raise our consciousness. By applying techniques and focusing our consciousness in a different (higher) direction, we progress more quickly on our path.

  • When we focus on light, the universe responds. When we contemplate light, we receive its support. When we desire awakening, the universe leads us into many experiences in the invisible world such as synchronicity, esoteric teachings, and subtle answers, which provide direction in life.
  • Universal direction comes when we connect with our soul. It may come from meditation, nature, animals, personal love, or creativity. If we recognize the “expansion”, we can create a great deal of good from this place—particularly with visualization.
  • Life responds to our visualizations, placement of consciousness, and attention. When we give attention to negative states or unwanted aspects of life, they expand. Conversely, positive thoughts and visualizations raise our vibration, creating the opposite. (It’s helpful to think of difficult areas of life as energy and to send light to them. We can also decide to see the solution as opposed to focusing on the problem.)
  • Self-observation is a wonderful tool for creating change. By observing our personal patterns, we learn to change the inner dialog (what we say to ourselves), focus on a positive outcome or different response, and ask the universe for help at a pivotal moment. By asking the universe for help, we essentially ask for new perceptions and insights in blocked or difficult areas of life. If we are open, small answers appear and coalesce.
  • By noticing happiness, beauty, positive feelings, and goodness, we automatically bring more of them into our lives. The placement of our consciousness attracts much of we experience in life, which means it’s possible to alter the current of our life by attuning our consciousness to a higher point. (Life moves very differently from this point.)

Energy

Everything is ultimately energy. Energy takes on a thousand shapes and forms. It responds to us.  (Our energy field also responds to others and the overall global field.) Over time, we learn how to interact with the resonance of specific energies. We also learn how to collect it through meditation, yoga (Tai Chi, etc), and cultivation of calm, peaceful emotion.

  1. It’s important to know everything is composed of energy. It takes form by its rate of vibration. On a human level, energy can feel dense and heavy when it is not in alignment with the inner self—or when we travel through resistance. It tends to feel light and supportive when we are aligned.
  2. The energy of the planet shifts rhythmically, causing the experience of highs and lows. By aligning deeply with the inner self, we can stay centered as we travel through the energetic translation of a changing time. (The quality of energy, experienced at a particular point in time, may represent an influence of karmic patterns, geographical locations, mass consciousness, or other people.)
  3. Currently, we are working with the concept of balance. It’s important to stay balanced, centered, and grounded when the energy is continually shifting. It’s good to know our feelings and moods alter with the flow of the current of life. They don’t last forever and become less intense when we stay centered.
  4. It’s powerful to observe the flow of life. Through self-observation, we can note the places, people, and things that lift our energy field into a higher place. We can also note synchronicities and correct intuition. They give hints about our personal alignment. (What indicates your personal alignment?)
  5. If we are persistent and aligned with our spiritual quest, the energy in our personal field will eventually take on a higher form, reflecting abundance, alignment, health, and love

Shortening the Swing

intuitive

In spirituality, the “swing” is well known. It involves riding the wave of emotion, the swing of thoughts, and motion of consciousness from low to high. It’s a part of spirituality, which is rarely addressed; it happens most often when you ascend to higher levels of consciousness.

Higher consciousness lifts you above the swing—and into a place of love and centering. In this place, it’s impossible to feel the swing, but it takes a lot of practice to stay there consistently. Alchemy refers to this practice as shortening the swing.

  1. It’s realistic to know you’ll experience the swing of consciousness. It can occur because of your geographic location, planetary events, family karma, and personal patterns. It’s helpful to observe your lower feelings while knowing the feelings won’t last forever. (If you apply some of the techniques listed below, they will resolve more quickly.)
  2. Think about light and the good parts of life. Meditate often for short spans of time. Focus on a feeling of light. Ask for connection with the higher self. (Find the heart space and let love flow through your being.)
  3. Ask for a higher pattern of results in life. Ask to see solutions and remember when life has moved more smoothly. See the opposite of whatever you are experiencing.
  4. Take long walks and sit in nature. Ask the earth to take your negative energy. Ask to feel the joyous parts of life. When you focus on the sensation of good instead of problems, the energy takes another form.
  5. Experiment by combining or altering meditation techniques. Ask your inner self for guidance. Act on every feeling and intuition. See where they lead you.
  6. Notice if the feeling is situational. If the feeling occurs when you are with specific people, it probably relates to them. If it appears with a specific task, you may feel your inner resistance, need to control, or old fears. Take a small step and reward yourself for taking action.
  7. Move into a state of knowing. Many of your thoughts and feelings are not real. They come from the lower self and habits or patterns. They disappear when you move into a higher state of consciousness. You are feeling all that you are leaving behind. In the future, you will “meet” more of your shining, incredible inner self.

More Awakening

mandela_ellenvaman

Mandala by Ellen Vaman

If you’re reading this, you’ve already decided to become connected and move into a more awakened state. As the light level of the planet increases, you’re pushed to expand, evolve, and grow. It can feel wonderful and/or exhausting, depending on your personal challenge.

Challenges appear when you grow. You may spiral through old problems, encounter shifts in consciousness, or feel more affected by the energy of others. You may see the duality in your life—the good and bad—the light and darkness.

It’s important to remember you’re on a journey. When you journey, there are discoveries. You see new aspects of life, and you (hopefully) find about more about yourself.

Here are a few thoughts.

  1. Open the day with meditation and a walk. Meditation opens the soul to the beauty of the universe, and nature aligns the body with a subtle current. When you’re connected, it’s easier to find the answers.
  2. Visualizing aligns your life with your heart. “Seeing” is an energetic gift, which is developed through meditation and practice. Everyone creates their life through imagery; they simply are unaware of it. “Seeing” through the heart means following your desires and creating them in reality. It’s an incredible gift because you learn to change your life—and the life of others around you. (See the desire in completion. It is happening now!)
  3. Ask for what you want. Ask for greater spiritual vision, ask for help with development of your gifts, and ask for understanding. The universe responds to requests. (Be sure to use steps 1 and 2 along with asking for answers.
  4. You may feel life more intensely. Heightened emotions, feelings, and intuition are part of awakening. They also make life appear more beautiful. You have additional sensations to hear the tones of the birds’ songs, to perceive the bright dots of spring color, and feel more of your inner self. As you understand more about your feelings and intuition—and what they mean—you’ll feel more comfortable. (In the meanwhile, accept and observe. Only the inner self can observe.)
  5. Push through the resistance of the comfort zone. Spirituality is wonderful, but it also requires taking steps. Usually, you have to change your body, learn how to express your gifts, speak differently (speak those inner thoughts), and make changes in your career. Take the step and stop waiting. Your life will change, and you’ll feel better. (These types of changes allow the universe to flow through you. Resistance blocks the flow.)
  6. Learn how to speak in a different way. When you say how you truly feel, life changes. (It’s not about venting or complaining.) It’s a way of expressing your inner self without making others wrong. You’re speaking your truth. Eventually, the universe speaks through you as well.
  7. Spend more time listening to your body. Thoughts and emotions often clear more quickly when listening to the body. The body has its own inner wisdom. Sending love and light to body improves health and physical habits.
  8. When experiencing strong emotion, ask for its source. Emotions are often initiated by other people, mass consciousness, or habits. For example, everyone has a pattern of repetitive thoughts and feelings, which accompany specific triggers such as feeling hurt, overwhelmed, or angry. It’s okay to experience the lower emotions, but notice how they are often a response to stimuli. You can think different thoughts or invoke more positive emotions by returning to center.
  9. Trust the process. With this shift, the energy can feel quite different on a daily basis. Trust that the universe is with you. Within your core—your inner self—you have the answers. (Study, take a class, and/or learn techniques. You travel through the process much more quickly with a teacher.)

Full Moon Forecast: Feel the Shift

pisces_josephinewall

Painting by Josephine Walls

Manifest a better personal world and envision global change, Study and work to achieve practical results. Rise to meet spiritual aspirations while pondering the opportunities of the New Age.

The full moon chart perfectly describes our current placement in time. It appeared on February 22 with a positive, energetic spin.  222 emphasizes a focus on faith, the inner knowing that everything will work out. The sum of 222 is 6, giving a reminder of the importance of visualizing a positive outcome in the material world. (Visualizing positive outcomes overcomes the tendency to repeat life through a subconscious format.)

The Sun is placed in Pisces and the Moon in Virgo. The two signs are opposites and exert a pull with other planets throughout the chart. Pisces is a water sign, and it emphasizes using imagination and spiritual connection as the right placement of emotion. Moon placed in Virgo concentrates on practical details and right use of spiritual knowledge in the physical world.

Sun in Pisces symbolizes the importance of emotional, unconditional love, especially when we are connected on a higher level. Unconditional love, which is universal, soothes the waves of thought and emotion. It is a resting place for body and soul. (Pisces also symbolizes two fishes swimming in opposite directions, which indicates how emotion can also make life feel confusing and unpredictable.)

Karma and emotion are emphasized in this chart. Pisces can direct the mind to soothing or upsetting memories; it can refer to the karma of the past age.  Sun (outer self), Neptune (mysticism, illusion) and Chiron (wounded healer) are also placed in Pisces. Mars (overall energy) in Scorpio brings hidden emotion to the surface; it can also give courage.

(Emotion is represented by water, which is composed of waves. The spiritual objective is shortening the swing between the peak and trough of the wave. It’s possible to do this by centering spiritually and realizing the motion of the wave can clear old patterns by lifting consciousness to a higher place. Emotions are more helpful when acknowledged—and particularly by understanding the role of choice with reaction and response.)

Mercury (higher thought, communication) and Venus (material pleasures, human love) are placed in Aquarius. The placement encourages meditation and the reception of the image of a higher, better world. Mercury in Aquarius gives the gift of rapid, fixed thought. It helps in receiving information from the universe. Venus asks for a loving vision of desired change for the self and the earth.

fullmoon8

Moon (inner self, emotions), Jupiter (expansion), and the North Node (spiritual aspiration in the physical world) are placed in Virgo, an earth sign.  This placement suggests the importance of grounding the spiritual vision in a practical sense. (Manifestation works best when it materializes in the physical world. Otherwise, it is a just a “wish.”)  It’s one thing to know how to send light. It’s another thing to do it properly and create positive results in “real” life while helping ourselves and the people in our sphere.

Moon, Jupiter, and North Node address our lives in the physical world. It’s about making changes with the body, career, and success, but there is also a focus on aligning our physical world with our spiritual nature.  Ultimately, it’s what brings fulfillment. (It’s okay not know how to do this. Identify inner gifts and take a step forward.)

Jupiter and the North Node trine Pluto in Capricorn. Trines make it easier to align with specific energies for inner and outer progress. Jupiter brings good fortune with physical endeavors, and the North Node represents the expression of inner gifts on the physical plane. Pluto can help with self-transformation in creating a more beneficial, abundant life—if we are determined to take the step.

Saturn (time, limitation, devotion) remains in Sagittarius, which emphasizes spiritual study, philosophy, and understanding the importance of fixing our consciousness on a target. It’s not about ambition; it’s about growth of the inner self. Saturn trines Uranus (quantum field, change) in Aries, which can speed the results of inner work. Uranus remains square Pluto. It brings the long continuation of discarding the fabric of the outer self, hidden secrets, and past time lines—to create evolution and freedom of the soul.

Notes

  • The chart helps in developing greater skills as associated with awakening. It focuses on imagination and visualization. It asks for opening to higher, spiritual forces while “seeing” and feeling the potential of the New Age.
  • It asks for the practical expression of spiritual work through working with emotion, continued study of personal intuition, and applying unconditional love (Pisces) in a practical way to overcome judgement and acquire a balanced sense of “being
  • Look for inner guidance when applying spiritual skills. Take a moment to envision the outcome. Follow the visualization with a positive emotion. Use positive moods and thoughts to create something new and beautiful.
  • Part of everyone’s spiritual journey is “seeing” and visualizing a better world. We do this by making the decision to sacrifice anger, resentment, and belief in victimization. (These qualities represent global wounds.) When we sacrifice negative emotion for a higher vision, we actually create something new and better. It alters our personal world—and the world around us.
  • Sustain trust and faith through meditation. Transformation takes time, patience, and inner development. Recognize love and light as the largest, more powerful forces in the universe. Acknowledge and engage the inner ability and power to create positive change.

Sabian Symbols

Sun is placed on Pisces 4, “Heavy Traffic Linking Two Seaside Resorts.” Two seaside resorts represent places of beauty for rest, renewal, and contemplation–a positive attribute of the element, water. Heavy traffic, linking the two sites, refers congestion, frustration, and delays. The two images create a vivid contrast, a contradiction of images.

Pisces represents the play of emotions. We can travel with the crowd into uncomfortable, lower emotion–or soar above it by residing the “resort” of the heart space, which delivers unconditional love.

Moon sits on Virgo 4, “Black and White Children Playing Happily Together.” It is another indication of the need to resolve inner polarity, which causes judgement and pain. A part of the self may see light and love throughout the world. Another part may feel prejudice and/or limiting beliefs. Wholeness comes from seeing beyond separate realities–and by moving into Oneness.

Mercury is found on Aquarius 12, “People on a Vast Ladder, Graduated Upwards.” The symbol refers to the placement of people in life, specifically on the spiritual ladder. It indicates the need to accept everyone else’s level of consciousness in life. Spiritual light teaches acceptance of everyone, regardless of their place on the ladder of life. (Besides, it’s more helpful to work on ourselves.)

Venus is on Aquarius 7, “A Child Born Out of an Eggshell.” The “egg” in alchemy represents rebirth into a new, spiritual/physical life. It can represent an unexpected new rebirth for the self or the world.  (Venus is love of physical life, including beauty and abundance, so this symbol speaks of change on the physical level.)

Mars sits on Scorpio 26, “American Indians Making Camp in New Territory.” Native Americans moved between locations and explored new territories. The new territory may refer to our experience in this new world, which brings awakening and new perceptions. We can stay in this new place and make a camp–or move onto another location.
