Seeking Higher Consciousness

Everything is related. When following a desire, we increase and diminish parts of life. Time is a simple example. When we delve into our spiritual practice, we take time away from a previous pursuit. When we see the beauty in nature, we discard other thoughts. (When I write this, I think of nothing else.)

Over time, the beauty grows. The spiritual practice bears flowers and gifts. Our lives begin to resemble the fabric of the inner self, and we know to “read” life by its resonance with our heart.  We are given awareness of the sensation of the inner self in the varying facets and appearances of life.

With the influx of energies, there is a shift in perception, feelings, and responses to energy. Many people are awakening and bringing more light to the planet. As awakening continues, we perceive life differently because light causes everything to move at a higher frequency.

Here are a few insights:

  1. As we become more conscious, our awareness shifts. We become aware that “reality” shifts, spins, and stirs with the state of our consciousness, which is reflected in the flow of events.
  2. We affect “life” and our lives more than we want to admit. Our lower thoughts and feelings may attract an irritable person, and higher thoughts may pull in a flow of love. (For example, the sun shines when we think a higher thought, or we receive a pleasant email from a loved one.)
  3. Consciousness connects us more deeply to all sources of information and energy. We feel life more intensely. We may feel more drawn or repelled to particular sources of information. Our higher consciousness begins to direct us more strongly.
  4. Swings in duality – the movement of emotions and thoughts – may seem stronger. When we experience the inner self, consciousness moves into a place of centeredness. It focuses on “ONE” point. Naturally, we’re more aware of the motion after a quiet experience.
  5. Increased consciousness brings awareness of our impact on our internal/external state. We begin to understand how our happiness and unhappiness respond to our internal dialog, old beliefs, and expectations. With this awareness, life shifts.
  6. “Giving” and “helping” are subtly changing. We can hold a vision or send light to anyone, but our spiritual help is balanced with the spiritual commitment and effort of the receiver. (In the Piscean Age, healers and light workers gave in a different way by pouring out energy whenever they felt led to share and help. In the Aquarian Age, we balance and gauge energy for the best effect.)
  7. During flashes of awakening, we perceive a beautiful future in a balanced world. There is a feeling of reassurance, comfort, and support. (We may wonder where it is in difficult moments, but it is how the universe shares its visions—and activates it through our light.)
  8. We begin to understand how consciousness directs overall planetary energy. And we see how shifts in personal consciousness affect our world and the world at large.

An Alternative Method of Peace

Barbara Marciniak said, “You must learn to end the wars in your world by ending them in your mind.”  It feels logical to proceed by embracing peace within our mind and heart. Thought and emotion are known to impact the energetic field, and they are measurable in quantum science. (Everyone has been affected positively and negatively by another person’s emotions or thoughts.)

Peace is a state of mind, which occurs within the stillness of the inner self. It is a higher frequency—a set of vibrations emitted by the inner self.  In general, it is accompanied by a set of feelings, sensations, and a specific visual. When we connect with the inner self, there is an absence of conflicting thought. It is the state associated with stillness—an alignment with the heart.

In this space of connection, we encounter universal concepts such as peace, love, harmony, and joy. In general, the concepts are similar for everyone, but we color them with individual sensations and visualizations. From a place of stillness, it is possible to project a personal vision of peace into the world around us.

In alchemy, it’s said that every particle of matter is composed of light. Matter responds to higher frequencies and changes its shape. (This is seen in cymatics as well as Masaru Emoto’s work with water.) At any rate, mind over matter has been demonstrated many times.

Harmonious vibrations—which are free from duality—can affect physical matter. These vibrations could be described as higher frequencies, which are generated and received by people who are capable of perceiving and projecting them. When a “higher” visualization or feeling is received and repeated throughout many energy field, it is naturally amplified. When many of us focus on our personal sensation of peace repeatedly, it eventually affects the overall energy—as well as the conceivable future.

Mahatma Ghandi thought a concept or movement was much more powerful when it promoted what it stood for rather than fighting against what it opposed. It is a non-dualistic view, based on a simple focus on a higher concept. (When we are connected to our inner self, there is no duality—only wholeness, which provides sensations, which flow from this place of being. By projecting those thoughts and feelings strongly, we affect the matter or physical world around us.)

Coming from a place of wholeness does not mean closing our eyes to the darkness in the world. But it does involve limiting judgement and refraining from deep discussions about wrongness on earth. That’s because negative people and places thrive on negative energy. It’s the best way of creating more of what we don’t want.

The Age of Aquarius focuses on group endeavors, collective consciousness, higher thought, and the quantum field. Higher thought comes when the mind is connected with the heart. It’s easy to identify those thoughts because they are clear, align with universal concepts, and often bring a feeling of softness and relief. More importantly, it’s possible to project those thoughts to others and to the world-at-large. It’s how the quantum field operates.

Tips:

  • Meditating on a personal feeling of peace is easier than seeing peace for the world. From place of connection, it is easily expanded and sent to others as well as geographical locations.
  • When we identify a strong sensation of peace for ourselves, we automatically vibrate it outward. (Change begins within personal world.)
  • It’s helpful to choose a color, symbol, or identify a specific energy as peace. The soul often reads energy in symbols. It can be sent to others.
  • Spend 5 or 10 minutes each day in meditation. In this place, there is no movement between polarities. There is only love and peace. Everyone can contribute to the effort in this way.
  • Avoid television, violence, and lower vibrations. Try to keep discussions focused on the positive and good changes within the world. (When something causes a strong upset or emotion, try Ho’oponopono or seeing the opposite of the situation.)
  • Work on eliminating personal judgement, particularly of friends, co-workers, and loved ones. It’s better to see the “good” in them and accept their place of being. And it’s more positive to work on personal peace. (Judgement causes movement between the higher and lower self.)
  • Create a personal vision of peace in the future and dwell on it occasionally.
  • With all metaphysical activity, we have to operate partially on faith while believing in the universe and our power to bring about change.

7 Easy Ways to Move Through The Shift

mandela_ellenvaman

While many people remain unaware of the shift, awakened individuals experience heightened intuition and emotion, which are qualities of the inner self. Along with this quickening, there is a strong desire for peace and harmony.

Here are a few tips to make navigation a bit easier.

  1. Try working from the inner self. Stop every few hours and ask for the presence of the inner self. (On a practical level, we can ask for information about the most essential aspects of the day. This can include practical, physical steps. While it may seem like a longer list, following the guidance of the inner self brings a gentle, sustaining flow.)
  2. Focus on the heart space. Send love to the self and others. Send love to problems and happy situations. Unconditional love raises everything into a higher frequency and can bring unexpected solutions.
  3. Be patient. It takes time to learn how to use intuition accurately. It takes energy to stay balanced in the New Age. And it requires courage to remain consistently optimistic while holding a vision of a better life and world.
  4. Take time to rest and nurture the self. The energy oscillates continually, and it’s important to take small breaks throughout the day. When the body rests, it operates more smoothly, and we feel less of the currents of mass consciousness and interruptions in the magnetic field. (When we’re tired, it’s helpful to focus on how it feels when we are energized and aligned.)
  5. Center often and focus on the inner self. From this place, see solutions. Imagine happier outcomes and focus on the positive. (This practice raises our vibrations.)
  6. Enjoy nature. Take walks or sit in the sun. Feel the motion of the physical world and notice the beauty. Become full of beauty and light.
  7. Spend a few moments each day and meditate on how peace and harmony feel. Imagine waves of peace, balance, and harmony coming into the inner self. (Refrain from speaking negatively about events or people in the outer world when possible. Sharing truth is fine, but try for a neutral position.)

Trends of 2017

Art by Emily Balivet

While it’s possible to “pick” up on great deal in the outer and invisible world, predictions and explanations tend to become misleading because they are amplified/diminished by our beliefs. Instead of  moving into the possibilities and probabilities of the year, it’s simpler to look at energetic trends.

The presentation of trends allows the opportunity to best direct our energy for personal growth. (Feel free to comment and share thoughts on this post.)

  1. Patience. Many have felt the scope of expansion offered by awakening. We know the world can change and move in a positive direction. We understand the probability of emergent new forms of energy, useful in healing, cleaning the environment, and free energy for cars, electricity, etc. We are working with patience while waiting for world change. We visualize, learn to regroup and alter the pattern of our words—and create room for the decision to move into awakening or stay in the same place.
  2. Transition. Part of the big transition involves letting go of who we think are while evolving into our “true” identity. This includes memories, lineage, personal preferences, and how we “think” we operate in life. It involves surrendering our “outer” identity as we become more of the inner self. It can be as simple as giving up toxic (lower) energy people to completely rebuilding our lives. (We’ll see change in the structure of the outer world as well.)
  3. A linear division. The line of division between light/dark and awake/sleeping is becoming more apparent. At this point, the delineation is becoming more apparent as the veil of illusion continues to thin. (Many revelations will be presented on a global and personal level. Expect people to reveal themselves.) For those who are awake, powers of discernment will increase.
  4. Increased light and personal power. As the veil thins, we’ll become more aware of how our personal and global connections affect the world. Our intentions, thoughts, and emotions will become more powerful. (Initially, it will be a two-edged sword because we will discover both negative and positive directives from the self and the world at large.)
  5. Increased amplification and acceleration. As we awaken, increased intuition will amplify our feelings and thoughts, Time will seem to move more quickly unless we actively slow it down through interaction with nature and meditation. The “waves” of energy surrounding the earth move much quickly, and they can affect our consciousness. (The term “waves” extends to mass consciousness, the people in our lives, and higher collective consciousness. Grounding and balance help a great deal with this.)
  6. More understanding of love. In the past, love meant intense passion, religious fervor, and a directive to move into love and light regardless of the circumstances. This view fostered intense (not always positive) relationships, a martyred vision of religion, and imbalance. “Real” universal love holds a much higher vibration. It illustrates the truth with compassion. It demands boundaries, truth, balance, and expansion. Universal love offers the opportunity to vibrate above lower energies—and to stay in the heart space.
  7. Perception of Energy. Big changes will occur in the perception of energy for those who are awake. Obviously, everything is energy, but learning how to apply, use, and align with energy correctly is an entirely different task. It’s super important to let go of people, things, and events that lower our energy and focus on the development of energy and positivity. (In many ways, it’s like a child outgrowing their clothes. Our lives may simply not fit in the same way.)
  8. New energies for those who are open. The new energies will likely provide tools for healing, greater understanding and clearing of past lives (and their influence), the ability to use intention as a greater directive for move thought life, and more profound understanding of the self—and cosmic law.
  9. Increased ability to manifest. Manifestation will become easier as the dark/light forces separate, and we move out of the old earth paradigm. For those in the light, it will involve manifesting aspects of the soul, hidden talents, and aspects of life, which are hidden in the heart.
  10. Increased connection. We will become more connected through electronics, spiritual energy, and likes/dislikes. It actually offers the opportunity to discover our personal alignment and how it affects our energy. On a higher level, the spiritual community may learn a great deal about group manifestation. (Much of the world appears as it does because of our thoughts. Awakened individuals will become aware of the importance of their thoughts and dreams.)

The Toltec Art of Dreaming with Don Jose Luis

donluis

Don Miguel Ruiz, best-selling author of The Four Agreements, is a nagual of the Eagle Knight lineage who has passed his knowledge on to his son, Don José Luis. Here, Don José Luis speaks about the three basic skills — awareness, stalking, and intent — that a warrior develops in order to transcend the realm of the ordinary, and their esoteric application to dreaming.

Julia: What is the difference between Toltec dreaming and some of the Western teachings regarding lucid dreaming?

Don José: Dreaming is a big Being, and we are married to Dreaming. All of life is a dream. We are a walking mirror.

God is a mirror — everything we think, feel, or believe is reflected back to us through this great mirror that is life. The world is a mirror that reflects back to us all that we believe. The world does not create what we are experiencing. We do that.

We create our beliefs, and the mirror of God reflects them back to us. God can send us only love and beauty. We create the distortions in this mirror of our life that is so short — and so beautiful.

There is an exercise I like to use with mirror work:

Put a candle in front of a mirror and look at yourself in the mirror. Look at the image as though it is a person you have never seen, and think about this person. It is the only person who is completely loyal to you and who totally loves you. When you think about your image in this way, it will help you to pull out of the lies and move into love.

Julia: A shaman uses stalking in dreaming to find the weaknesses in his consciousness. How is the art of stalking used in Toltec dreaming?

Don José: Stalking is used in dreaming to find the mental and emotional images that prevent us from being free. When we dream, we must learn to discover in our dreams the forms or energies that limit us. They may repeatedly take the same form, or they may take different forms. They may appear in many different dreams, or just one dream that reoccurs.

We must dream with the purpose of stalking, to try to stalk who is within ourselves and see what our beliefs are. We primarily stalk two things in dreaming: thinking (what is in the head) and heartbreak.

By heartbreak, I mean the incredible pain we feel from the terrible things that have happened to us. When we feel the pain of heartbreak, we close off parts of ourselves. In some way, we stop living. If the same situation comes up again, we say, “Oh, no, I won’t let myself be hurt again!”
But this is no way to live.

Life is so short and so incredibly beautiful. It is such a gift. You must forgive yourself for experiencing heartbreak. You must love the heartbreak in your life, because it is part of living. Most importantly, you must create a better dream.

We also stalk to find the thoughts that keep us chained in “reality.” These thoughts that we think so many times limit us. If we can identify these limiting thoughts, we can pull the energy back from their mental patterns and create anew.

It is so important to take back these lost energies and share with the world the gifts given to us from the angels and God. Heartbreak and limiting thoughts are like a cage. They keep us caged, imprisoned, in the three-dimensional world. The cage is created from the fear of being the Self, of being authentic.

Lies and fears about our Self are the forces that keep us in the cage—and they are not real. We must reclaim the key to our cage by pulling the energy back from our thoughts and our heartbreak. In this way, we become free.

Stalking in dreaming can be compared to opening gates. If a state of mind or heartbreak has been identified in dreaming, then we find the opening point of the wound, or the judgment, and we go in our memory to the point just before it occurred. When we remember the time before the memory occurred, we find a closing point for the wound — and then we go a little further back in time, so we can avoid returning to the wound.

Now we can see an entirely different world, or movie. We have created a better dream. It is possible to use this technique to open a gate and see a different view.

Julia: Can you explain a little more about using stalking to create a better dream?

Don José: Again, until we are free, heartbreak and thinking will always appear in our dreams. This is because life is nothing but a reflection of ourselves and our memories.

One way of using stalking with heartbreak is to relive all the heartbreak in your life. Take one incident at a time and imagine that you are pulling all of the energy out of that terrible experience. Imagine it over and over until you can feel nothing when you watch images in your mind.

Then take the experience and “dream” a whole different reality. See your life moving in a different direction, a wonderful dream, with a happy experience in place of the heartbreak.

See the way that you want to live, as opposed to how you have been living. It is possible to do this with all of your life.

For example, let’s say there is a teenage girl who has a beautiful voice. She goes about singing with this exquisite voice, and the birds answer her. Everyone pauses to hear her. Then one day her mother tells her, “Stop singing. You have an ugly voice.”The girl stops singing, and the world is deprived of the beauty of her gift.

She could imagine, in place of her heartbreak, that the experience with her mother never occurred — or that she told her mother that she was wrong. Then she must see herself singing during those lost years, and in the present and the future.

It is so ironic. We listen the most to the ones we think love us the most, and so often they do not know us at all. These people that we think love us don’t even know themselves, so they cannot possibly know us. And yet we lose our gifts and powers to these people.

An exercise I use with group dreaming is called “Mirror Mitote.” You imagine that the voices in your mind are like the sounds in a supermarket, where we can hear other people talking very loudly and we have trouble focusing.

The mind reflects this kind of environment. We hear the voices and opinions of others when we don’t believe in ourselves. The voices become very loud. We have to learn to look at our beauty, and see the opinions as lies.

Julia: I remember reading about recapitulation in Castaneda’s books. How does that relate to dreaming?

Don José: Recapitulation is more like daydreaming. We use recapitulation during our waking hours to review our limitations, our fears and heartbreak. We review experiences that keep us in limitation until those experiences become like a ghost town, until visiting them is like going to a village that used to be alive and is now gray and old with no one in it.

Before recapitulation, the memory may have been vivid — you could hear all the characters speak, and you reacted to them. But now the memory, or the town, is empty. There is no emotional or mental response. You have recaptured all energy from that moment, from that time in your life. It doesn’t have the same flavor or taste. It is flat.

Detachment is a principle point to achieve. Whenever we are living in our opinions, we are in judgment of our Self or other people. We are seeing only our own expectations or limitations. Doubt is also a lie that inhibits intent.

Even our names are a lie. Have you ever thought of that? All of our lies, opinions, and judgments keep us caged inside the body. All limitations come from fear. We must detach from our fears.

When we achieve detachment, we pull the energy out of the lies in our lives, and it goes back into the assemblage point.

Julia: What is the assemblage point? How does it affect dreaming?

Don José: The assemblage point is our point of focus. It is one of the keys to dreaming. It is exactly like a television with many channels. You can choose any channel, and anything might be on that channel — wrestling, a sad love story, the news… Our assemblage point is like a vortex of perception, an altar that opens us to experience. We can expand or reduce that perception.

Everyone thinks of something as they fall asleep. I do not care what people say — everyone thinks of some incident, person, or place. And as they fix their minds, they are focusing their assemblage point. People do this in real life when they go into a theater to watch a sad movie. What happens when they come out? They are sad or crying. Why? The emotional state changes because they have shifted their assemblage point to experience sadness.

When we can pull all of the energies of our life back into the assemblage point, we begin to become free.

We can focus the assemblage point on any channel. But we are accustomed to focusing on the channels we have learned through our life’s memories and the channels that are familiar to the mass consciousness.

We have to learn to change our perceptions from our reason, which is composed of our objective thoughts, to our Will. When we will the dream, our personal power changes from the mental construct to spiritual perception. When we are free from the cage of the mind, our energy increases dramatically, and we can discover our true identity.

It takes faith, strength, and tenacity to learn to change the focus of the assemblage point through intent. It also takes patience. Intent is faith — it is believing in our magic more than we believe what we think we see in the mirror called life.

The Buddha turned arrows into flowers. He understood the dream. Intent is a silent knowing that we are the creator of the dream.

A true master knows that anything is possible. He no longer doubts. And everyone can be a master. Everyone can create an incredible life through the magical part of the Self, and dreaming is a vehicle to do so.

Julia: When we begin to dream with intent, how does this change our lives?

Don José: We become free of expectation and limitation. We are no longer bothered by the opinions of the mass consciousness. Our desire or intent for freedom becomes so strong that we dream it and live it.

When heartbreak occurs, we begin to see that it is illusion. We are able to say, “That was a good one, that illusion almost tricked me. But I won’t fall for it.”

We realize that all of the “bad” things that have happened in our lives are just that — stories that we tell to ourselves and to whomever will listen. We stop letting our stories hurt us. We learn to take the energy back from the story and end it in a different way.

You see, we are always doing one of two things: We are either creating, or we are living lies. When we are creating, we start to have faith, love, and gratitude. We say “thank you” to the Earth and God for everything.

We learn to speak in the true language of feelings or emotions, rather than opinions and words. We begin to create our dream through the good feelings and happy thoughts that we have. This leads us to God. Through the clear channel of the Self that is created, many miracles happen, like the flowers that the Buddha created. This makes us fall in love with living.

Love of life is contagious. When we are not affected by illusions, we can create, and we can help other people find love in living.

A good analogy is to look at both dreams and life as a vacation or a movie. It is best to plan our vacation, to drive the correct vehicle, to make reservations, to choose the right geography. Or we can make a great movie if we plan or create it. If we don’t create or plan, then obstacles occur. The obstacles could be compared to the illusions of the mind. But if we have created carefully, we make the most beautiful movie imaginable.

This is how it is to live on Earth. We can travel blindly through the obstacles of our thoughts and emotions, or we can gather back the energy and create the dream. It is a catwalk between illusion and creating, but we must do our best to enjoy the gift of living. When we are capable of creating the dream, all of living becomes a Paradise on Earth.

It is all about spirituality and love. The angels are taking over the planet, little by little. We are all angels, and we have forgotten. We must let the flow of life within us live. We must remember that all of life is a dream, a movie — we can choose to watch a beautiful movie.

It is all beautiful if we can only remember.

Planetary Change, Another Shift!

newsletter_planetpic

The “weather” following last weekend’s full moon is softer and less dramatic. For many of us, the full moon awakened subtle energies, which encouraged our inner aspirations. The trick is to continue embracing them—regardless of the planetary energies.

Challenges remain as the planets teach discernment between the ego and inner self. We’re also learning about the difference between programmed global beliefs and the freedom of universal structures. (Big lessons are rarely comfortable although they can bring bliss—when we experience a shift into higher consciousness.)

Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter are in Libra, which can make life seem beautiful and gracious. Sun (life, light) and Mercury (communications) oppose Uranus (quantum field) in Aries, meaning our desire to enjoy and balance life may cause conflict with our inner quest for spiritual growth. In short, it’s important to devote time to meditation and contemplation when many changes are afoot in the outer world.

Mars (action, overall energy) in Capricorn squares Uranus (quantum field, spiritual change) in Aries and conjuncts Pluto (subconscious, transformation) in Capricorn. Its square with Uranus can make for explosive action, or it can bring meditative thought about how our physical/every day actions blend with our spiritual life.

One of the bigger influences is Mars (action, energy)  conjunct Pluto (subconscious, transformation.) Mars and Pluto in a close position can bring courage, strength, and power to move forward with goals. As we know, power comes in two forms. It can refer to using manipulation to get our way or throwing resentment, hurt, or anger at others.

It can reveal the darker side of our energy–how we lash out or throw energy. True power involves choosing boundaries, staying on our path, and allowing the universe to work through us. We have to choose between force and strength. True strength brings healing, answers, and benefits the “all”.

Venus sits in Sagittarius, which forms a harmonious energy with Jupiter in Libra. These two energies in combination can bring pleasant and beautiful moments into our lives. Venus in Sagittarius tends to desire movement, philosophical stimulation, and physical activity. (Read esoteric writings and follow with a long walk.)

This full-disc image of Jupiter was taken on 21 April 2014 with Hubble's Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3).

Jupiter is sextile Saturn, meaning our good beliefs and positive karma, can help in finding a better life and bringing it into form. Saturn trines Uranus, which means positive karmic efforts to follow our soul can aid in bringing big, spiritual realizations into our physical lives. (This is a powerful trine because it means good fortune can result from sustained effort–particularly those based on inner connection.)

Jupiter and Uranus are square Pluto, meaning the large, radical change continues as we examine and create our lives. Jupiter symbolizing good fortune, so we’re discovering how to transcend our limiting beliefs about the goodness in life. Uranus pushes us to realize the importance of spiritual life and Pluto reveals our limiting beliefs and illusions.

NOTES:

  1. The energy remains a bit erratic with the continuation of Uranus conjunct Eris (the 10th planet of discord), and Mars and Jupiter square Uranus. It makes everything seem unpredictable. (Remember it’s easiest to manifest when life is not completely stable. Uranus does help with the quantum field, so use the energy to focus on big desires.)
  2. Two T-squares appear before the end of the month. (The first T-square is on Oct 20; the next T-square appears on Oct 23.) T-squares make life feel a bit heavy and frustrating. Fortunately, they pass quickly.
  3. If we use it wisely, there’s a marvelous aspect with Mars conjunct Pluto. It can truly help in materializing desires and goals. It can give relentless drive and courage. It’s also important to use it wisely by focusing power in a beneficent way. Obviously, the object of the aspect is pursuing a goal from a place of neutrality while allowing the universe to work through us. (On the highest level, this aspect can help with integrating many of the current changes–as well as manifesting dreams.)
  4. There is much lovely energy in the chart. Nature is spectacularly beautiful with Venus in Sagittarius and Libra in Jupiter. Make time to visit with the loveliness of the world. It helps in awakening the inner self.
  5. Create a balanced schedule with time for inner and outer work. Spend time observing the self and watching feelings and thoughts. Shift into higher consciousness whenever possible.

Creating More Peace

news_mandala

Here’s a brief meditation on creating peace. Feel free to share. For those of you who prefer to read, here’s my latest article on peace from Spirit of Maat ezine (spiritofmaat.com)

Creating More Peace

It’s how the quantum field works.

Tips:

1)      Meditating on a personal feeling of peace is easier than seeing peace for the world. From place of connection, it is easily expanded and sent to others as well as geographical locations.

2)      When we identify a strong sensation of peace for ourselves, we automatically vibrate it outward. (Change begins within personal world.)

3)      It’s helpful to choose a color, symbol, or identify a specific energy as peace. The soul often reads energy in symbols. It can be sent to others.

4)      Spend 5 or 10 minutes each day in meditation. In this place, there is no movement between polarities. There is only love and peace. Everyone can contribute to the effort in this way.

5)      Avoid television, violence, and lower vibrations. Try to keep discussions focused on the positive and good changes within the world. (When something causes a strong upset or emotion, try Ho’oponopono or seeing the opposite of the situation.)

6)      Work on eliminating personal judgement, particularly of friends, co-workers, and loved ones. It’s better to see the “good” in them and accept their place of being. And it’s more positive to work on personal peace. (Judgement causes movement between the higher and lower self.)

7)      Create a personal vision of peace in the future and dwell on it occasionally.

8)      With all metaphysical activity, we have to operate partially on faith while believing in the universe and our power to bring about change.

Connecting with the Inner Self

There are many methods of moving into a mystical connection. Its value lies in universal support and the discovery of truth and laws, which are larger and more powerful than simple physical rules. The universe is infinite; it offers thousands of solutions (if we are open.)

We tend to accept limitation, smallness, and the constraints of time—mainly because we are programmed to believe in unhappiness and rules that support it. When we actively imagine, express, and experience a different reality from the space of the heart, a new reality embraces us. Sometimes, it brings impossibly beautiful answers.

  1. Seek out the mystical connection between the inner self and the universe on a daily basis. It doesn’t matter if it works or not. Compliment yourself for making the effort. Seeking is part of the answer.
  2. The universe works at a different rhythm from “ordinary” reality. When we think, feel, or hold a visual image, we shape life with its energy. It’s possible to ask to feel the right type of energy to create a desire, calm emotions, or see life differently. It’s also possible to ask for the feeling of an opportunity and to change the energy of the day into a higher frequency. (Creating a habit of seeing and feeling the opposite of a situation helps in altering the flow of events.)
  3. Consider the unknown. When we manifest, it’s much like putting together images, emotions, and thoughts into a visualization or feeling. The universe is much larger; it is filled with undiscovered goodness. It’s possible to ask for the goodness of the unknown—the great mystery—to flow into your life. Contemplating the unknown brings expansion, which is associated with spiritual growth.
  4. Sometimes, situations do not initially bend to visualization. They may involve the development of boundaries, seeing life from a different perspective, or going in a different direction. In this case, there is often a new vision, understanding, or new field of discovery.
  5. Sending light and healing to others develops your capacity to access the inner self. It’s good to practice daily. In time, others will feel it, and we will feel more universal love and light. Giving and receiving are related; it’s good to practice both at different times. (I find it useful to imagine receiving love through the heart chakra.)
  6. Notice how your reality responds to our efforts. The bird songs may change. Our pets may respond, or we may perceive a feeling of harmony. Sometimes, there is an appearance of more light. Notice how life changes when sensing a connection.
  7. Take time to notice your work. It’s easy to become discouraged if we don’t pay attention to the good results of our small intuitions and intentions. When we notice how the universe is works with us, it’s encouraging. We want to move more deeply into the mystical world because your experiences carry us to a higher point.

NOTE: It’s through our mystical connection that we create a new and better life. If we don’t create through the inner self, we either repeat the past or create through the vision of the lower self. When we project the feeling of the inner self, visualize our heart’s desires, and connect with the universe, we have happy results!
