Follow Your Path

Following your inner path is part of awakening. You find the path by listening to your heart. The heart knows your deepest desires. It brings connection to the inner self.

All positive intuition comes from the heart and awakening. You can learn 1,000 techniques, but the heart leads the way. It knows what you love—and how to take you there. It receives a broadcast from the universe, which is translated through the senses and emotions. When you listen to the heart, you are connected at the right time and in the right way.

All true journeys lead to the inner self. Everything else is simply a diversion. It won’t bring satisfaction, joy, or fulfillment.

Meditation is the best way of listening. Visualization is the best way of creating the next step on your path. (Everything in the universe responds to visuals and feelings; it’s how we create experiences in the physical world.) Visualization plus positive feelings can create rapid change. (If you can’t visualize, find an image. Look at it and develop a positive, flowing feeling.)

Part of the path is learning about the duality of life. You learn what and who brings alignment with the heart. These experiences teach about energy, boundaries, and how to live your life—as well as speaking your truth. Everything is energy, and it’s how you learn to read it.

Courage is required on the path of the heart. You move through fear and limitation to become more of who you truly are. In the big picture, it teaches you to see the larger part of yourself—and to align with it.  It’s how you travel to your inner self.

Through this process, you learn practices of connection. You learn to listen to your heart, and you learn how to find the light, which illuminates your journey.

Creating Desirable Change

 

Desirable changes come from the inner self; they bring peace, contentment, and happiness. It is not always easy to arrive at this place. Sometimes, it takes time and patience, but the journey is worth it.

It’s impossible to change everything. You can’t change other people, and, sometimes, circumstances don’t change until you alter yourself. But you can always alter your attitude, beliefs, and perceptions by coming into a place where you and universe flow together.Everything becomes softer and easier; it feels better. Over time, you find that you can change many events in life by using the techniques, which you master through the work.

Here are a few simple suggestions:

  1. Connecting to your inner self and the “light” helps with everything because your frequency (or vibrations in your energy field) become higher. People respond differently. You perceive new solutions, and you feel more peace and contentment. A higher frequency equals better results in daily life (reality.)
  2. Reality alters to match the vibrations in your energy field. When you see an event positively, your perspective changes. It can take time to raise your projection of an event, relationship, or outcome, but this works. Change your perception and change the outcome.
  3. When you can’t change the outcome, you can image sending color or calm energy. Love is easily sent by imagining pink light. You can send it to you, the molecules surrounding you, or a situation. Moving into love and turning events over to the universe often brings resolution. (Accept the resolution and decide you have the strength to move through the situation.)
  4. Focus on the good in your life. You’re alive. You are loved. You have a spiritual connection (or you wouldn’t read this.) You have the ability to change your life. This is powerful knowledge, and few people ever arrive at this place.
  5. Believe in your ability to change your life. Believe in the universe. Know there are spiritual forces such as angels, light, and other people who support and believe in you. Find friends who focus on solutions, take a course, or find a coach. Do something. (Meditating is an action, too.)
  6. You can’t change other people, but you can change your perception. You can imagine living in a more supportive environment and/or focus on receiving love and appreciation from others. Or simply focus on greater happiness and fulfillment.
  7. Believe in the power of the universe that will support positive changes in your life. The universe wants expansion, beauty, love, and growth for everyone.

Meditation:

  • Meditation is one of the keys to the process. Close your eyes and feel your inner self. (When we don’t think, see, or feel anything, we feel the inner self. We also pull back our energy from life.) If you stay in this space for ten minutes, you will feel the inner self. It feels wonderful and peaceful. This part of the self holds the answers. Commune with it quietly.
  • Hold and feel a visual of what you want to experience. If you want happiness and peace, see yourself in this state. If you feel hopeless, create an image of opportunities flowing into your life. If you’re angry, imagine feeling peaceful. Refuse negative thoughts (about anything) and hold onto your visual for 30 seconds. The “new” energy will eventually replace the old energy.
  • Think about love. Love is the one of the key components of the universe. We are loved unconditionally by the universe. Pink light is also love. We can send pink light to our projects, our body, and the people in our lives. Light and love are higher vibrations. Everything in the universe responds to love and light. As you hold more love and light in your “field”, the universe responds more quickly!

Opening the Heart Space

 

Opening our hearts to life is one of the most fulfilling tasks that we can undertake. When the heart chakra opens, we begin to weigh our actions from the heart. The heart is like a plumb line; it tells us when we are centered and when we are not.

Our culture is permeated with messages of “listening to your heart” and “knowing in your heart”. It is in the space of the heart that our true desires reside. The joy of the connection with the “One” or the “All” is felt in the heart. We find true compassion in the heart, not in the mind.

The Egyptians believed that the soul resided in the heart. The Goddess Ma’at weighed the human heart of the dead to discover if the soul had earned paradise in the afterlife.

Tibetan Buddhism describes the heart chakra as an 8 white-petal center that is the seat of the Very Subtle Mind and the Very Subtle Wind. These two qualities are immortal and reside in the seat of the heart from life time to life time. (For this reason, other people are recognizable in other lifetimes.) It is also described as the essence of Absolute Reality.

The heart chakra is the fourth chakra, or the Anahata. It resides in the middle of the chakra system, balancing the 3 lower chakras which rule physical life and the 3 upper chakras, which control our access to spirituality. The heart (Tiphareth) is found in the Middle Pillar of the Kaballah.

The Middle Way or Central Path is a dominant theme in philosophy. Balancing duality is an important task that is achieved by walking the Middle Path. Listening to the heart is the first step on this path. When we think with our heads and hearts in accordance, our actions begin to reflect a balance between thought and emotion. When we are one with the true or authentic self, the ego and soul are integrated. We live from the heart.

Alchemy describes the awakening of the heart chakra as the communication between the heart and the Higher Self or Holy Guardian Angel. As we receive our direction from the heart, our outer direction in life becomes dictated by our inner knowing. We access the truth of our Higher Self and the immortal wisdom of the heart space.

Experiencing Universal Love creates love for the self and others. Love becomes aligned with integrity, and our personal inner truth becomes more valuable. We gain true independence and self-reliance because we begin to relinquish our dependency on the outer world for direction.

We learn to love the light in everyone, but we also learn to value our selves. Love has many faces in the mirror-like quality of our Universe. Restriction/expansion represents an aspect of duality, which relates love. The restrictive nature teaches about boundaries, and the expansive side is about opening to larger realities and possibilities, offering a glimpse into the mystery of the All.

Speaking the truth of our hearts opens corridors of communication. When we live in the knowledge of our hearts, we give and receive equitably. When we are in balance with the One, this energy is reflected outwardly into the All. By simply reflecting on our hearts, we can affect marvelous changes in our lives that ripple outward into the world.

EXERCISES: The wisdom of the heart chakra can be accessed through practice, attention, and a true desire to experience Universal love. You may find that researching the heart chakra and drawing an image of the chakra is helpful and fun.

PINK HEART: Imagine that a beam from the Universe is pouring pink light (love) into the center of the chest. Breathe in this love and allow it flow throughout the entire body. Allow the pink light to flow into the nuclei of each cell and into the spaces between the cells. Remember: the Universe’s capacity to give is infinite. You can receive as much light as you desire. (Note: this exercise is included in last month’s voice stream on manifestation.)

SENDING LIGHT TO OTHERS: You can also radiate this love or pink light to any situation or person. Imagine that the beam of pink light is pouring into your heart chakra. When your heart chakra is full, imagine that your friends and loved ones. See if you can find a location for them or imagine that they are in the room with you. Radiate a beam of pink light to each of them. Return to the present moment and allow more light to flow into your heart chakra. When you share light with others, you increase your capacity to receive light. You should feel slightly energized after the completion of this exercise.

DAILY PRACTICE: Ask yourself several times each day when working, walking or performing daily tasks, “What does my heart think about this? How does my heart feel?” You may ask this question about people, situations, or changes in the flow of life. Eventually, you will “feel” or hear an answer from your inner self. You will know that this is your answer. (Truth is simple so your answer will probably be short.)

Learning About the Inner Self

 

  1. You’re more powerful than you think. Your feelings and thoughts affect the space and people around you. When you consciously direct your thoughts in a positive way, it changes the flow of the events. The best way to create conscious change is through the inner self and connection with the universe.
  2. You create a better future by believing in your power to do so. The potential becomes greater when you practice visualization and gain awareness of your thoughts and feelings. By seeing your inner world with a different light, you learn how to envision for the outer world. When many people hold a positive vision for the outer world, it’s possible to create amazing change.
  3. When you experience a sense of well being and soft happiness, it helps everyone around you. Everyone is drawn to this type of energy field. Practice recalling memories of feeling well, happy, and relaxed. You automatically pull these emotions into the future by focusing on them. (Focusing involves concentration and energy. When you place your energy on a particular point of consciousness, it expands.)
  4. A part of you is always connected. You may not always feel your connection, but it’s always there. You can meditate more, ask for help, call on your guides or angels, and recall feeling of inner connection. If you stay with your practices, you’ll find your inner self. (Everyone moves in and out of this space in a given day.)
  5. Many people believe a very special group of people were called here for the group awakening. If you are awakening, you probably have special talents and gifts. (It’s helpful to know you can focus on your inner light and help others—regardless of your livelihood or life direction.) Everyone in this group works with personal problems, which likely involve clearing global karma or holding light for others. Your small efforts help far more than you think, and your light counts a great deal.

Working with New Energies

 

The new wave of energy, which followed the eclipse, increases our power to create and dream of magical creations. Every wonderful quest is accompanied by an assignment. In this case, it’s karma—or the repetition of lower thoughts, emotions, and patterns.Cessation of karma—or repetition of negative events—occurs through a new action, response, or feeling. (In other words, a higher feeling/vibration dissolves old patterns and clears the energy so it can take on the shape of a new and better form.)

It begins with awareness. The average person experiences about 10,000 thoughts each day, and most are repetitive. By becoming aware of the inner dialog (how we talk to ourselves), we can rewrite the statements. In a few days or weeks, we create a new paradigm of positive thoughts and feelings. (It’s best to start with areas of strong reaction/emotion.)

As we release patterns and embrace the light, it becomes more important to use our gifts and balance our physical energy. (The physical body often feels tired and/or dehydrated when adjusting to new levels of light.)  It’s important to know how we use our energy when talking to others, healing and/or helping others, and moving through daily tasks. (Review the past few hours whenever tiredness or sleepiness occurs.)

Seeking the fulfillment of desires requires energy and work. When the universe is changing rapidly, it’s helpful to experiment with techniques and try them at different times of the day. (Everyone has specific hours that benefit their practice most.) We can learn to send light (and color) to problems, create better visual pictures for our current situation in life, and express gratitude for all of the good in our lives.

The practices listed above will have results, but it’s also necessary to change the way that we see ourselves. It’s helpful to spend a few moments recalling our positive qualities, the sensation of laughing and smiling, and the confidence, which accompanies success. Spend a few more moments sensing intuitive abilities. (These are the qualities of the inner self, and they are automatically heightened when held in the eye of mind.)

Also, remember the power of this time. Despite the mixed emotions and confused energies of the outer world, there is a tremendous amount of light. The Turning of the Ages encourages awakening, unconditional love, and the dissipation of karma. In the invisible world, there are many forces on our side. We only have to remember and open to them.

Small Tips:

  1. Ask to become aware of the magical, mystical energy. (The universe will hear you.)
  2. Spend more time focusing on the desired reality than ruminating about difficulties.
  3. When you can’t find a solution and feel overwhelmed by life, return to the heart space. Focus on pink light (unconditional love.)
  4. Send colors such as blue-green, pink, or white light to your problems or negative thoughts. Imagine the thoughts or problems are shrinking.
  5. Ask for the power and light of your inner self. (Repeat until the energy changes.)

A Time of Awakening

 

Manifestation is important because it teaches about how we perceive and live life. When we focus on a heart felt desire, we invoke the universe and the inner self.

  1. Everyone is already manifesting the material of their consciousness  through their experience of “reality.” We are limited by our perceptions and beliefs about life as well as the people in our lives; however, it’s possible to transcend those limits and create big, happy visions. Basically, this involves awakening and rewriting our inner script of beliefs, thoughts, and emotions. When we rewrite our perception of reality, it changes.
  2. Everyone wants financial prosperity, loving relationships, a healthy body, and a deep spiritual connection that provides accurate answers. Meditation and visualization can lead us to the right steps, and the practice completes much of the work on the invisible plane. (In other words, an occurrence or dream takes place much more quickly. We find the right job quickly instead of applying for ten. We visualize meeting the right people, and they appear.)
  3. Action is more effective when accompanied by meditation and visualization. It also requires less effort. Athletes and millionaires use these techniques of visualizing their desired reality in detail. The alteration in overall energy is even more profound when the visualization is prompted by a desire for connection with the inner self. Both practices create results, but universal connection alters everything in our lives.
  4. We meet our resistance within our self. We discover an opposite self, who doesn’t want the manifestation, takes steps in the opposite way, and wants to stay the same. We rewrite the “program” or pattern through visualization, observation, and learning to think and feel new thoughts and emotions. (We also learn to change our personal identity from the person who can’t to one who can.)
  5. Life becomes more exciting through these discoveries. As we learn to change lower patterns into patterns of success, we become enthusiastic about life. We naturally make small adjustments such as altering traffic, wishing good things for others, or seeing more beauty in life. (This changes our world—and the world around us.)
  6. Our vision of our reality and the world changes. We begin to understand how our ‘reality” responds to our thoughts and emotions. We also learn how to change our perception of life because we understand the seeing the “goodness” is part of what brings it into our lives.
  7. We naturally live on a higher vibration as a result of participating in manifestation. We begin to see problems as areas of life, which require a higher frequency, meditation, or inspired action. We also begin to “know” that other people are doing the same thing. It’s how we meet our True Self through meditation–and connect with others who align with the universe in the same beautiful way.

Turn to the Light

Light and love are always the answer. They hold the highest vibrations on the planet. If we call on the light, the universe answers. But it’s easier to access “light” by using specific techniques.

Light responds differently with specific situations and meditations. These brief exercises work well for a variety of a problems, including receiving more enlightenment and understanding. When we see and feel life differently, it often alters into a higher vibration—and brings more positive outcome.

“Real” love feels unconditional, soft, and centered. It brings healing, answers, and gentle self-motivation. It helps in seeing the good in the self and others. It is like looking through a beautiful, rainbow lens with a heart, which feels uplifted and calm. All of the exercises will help in finding this place.

Here are a few tips.

  1. Come to center and find inner self on a daily basis. Meditation helps in finding the true self. From this place, wisdom, self-love, and peace flow. The answer is in the center; it feels simple and true when you find it. (It’s easiest to call in the light by becoming still. It’s helpful to pull inward to feel the inner self. )
  2. Put your attention on happiness. Happiness—like all inner states—requires attention and contemplation. (It’s actually a habit.) Notice all of the things, which bring happiness in your life. Listen to your voice to see if it conveys happiness. Notice your feelings when you look at objects, read emails, or travel short distances. Make a conscious effort to expand and find happiness throughout the day.
  3. Peace acts like a river; it eases and soothes emotion. There are no thoughts when we align with peace, only stillness. Imagine experiencing peace before/after others attempt to pull us into drama. (As our energy level heightens, others try to pull you into their drama. By detaching from their drama and visualizing a happy outcome, we can return to place of peace.
  4. Know that life moves in a cyclical pattern, marked by highs and lows. The challenge lies in finding and observing the pattern, altering emotions, and making “center” or the true self more important than the feelings and situation.
  5. Conflicting thoughts comprise part of spiritual growth. It’s how we put ourselves together and resolve the many parts of the self. When the answer comes, it will be simple. It will resonate with the inner self. Until this time comes, notice the feelings. It’s okay to feel two, conflicting emotions and/or thoughts. Eventually, the thoughts do bring resolution and wholeness.
  6. Pull the mind away from upsetting thoughts and situations. Return to the heart. Practice meditation to return to center, then visualize a positive outcome in a place of stillness.
  7. Know the process is working, and the universe wants to help. While many of these tips and exercises are not logical, they follow spiritual law. Our visualizations thoughts, and emotions alter the course of life because they invoke—and the most  powerful part of our inner being.
