A Time of Awakening

Manifestation is important because it teaches about how we perceive and live life. When we focus on a heart felt desire, we invoke the universe and the inner self.

  1. Everyone is already manifesting the material of their consciousness  through their experience of “reality.” We are limited by our perceptions and beliefs about life as well as the people in our lives; however, it’s possible to transcend those limits and create big, happy visions. Basically, this involves awakening and rewriting our inner script of beliefs, thoughts, and emotions. When we rewrite our perception of reality, it changes.
  2. Everyone wants financial prosperity, loving relationships, a healthy body, and a deep spiritual connection that provides accurate answers. Meditation and visualization can lead us to the right steps, and the practice completes much of the work on the invisible plane. (In other words, an occurrence or dream takes place much more quickly. We find the right job quickly instead of applying for ten. We visualize meeting the right people, and they appear.)
  3. Action is more effective when accompanied by meditation and visualization. It also requires less effort. Athletes and millionaires use these techniques of visualizing their desired reality in detail. The alteration in overall energy is even more profound when the visualization is prompted by a desire for connection with the inner self. Both practices create results, but universal connection alters everything in our lives.
  4. We meet our resistance within our self. We discover an opposite self, who doesn’t want the manifestation, takes steps in the opposite way, and wants to stay the same. We rewrite the “program” or pattern through visualization, observation, and learning to think and feel new thoughts and emotions. (We also learn to change our personal identity from the person who can’t to one who can.)
  5. Life becomes more exciting through these discoveries. As we learn to change lower patterns into patterns of success, we become enthusiastic about life. We naturally make small adjustments such as altering traffic, wishing good things for others, or seeing more beauty in life. (This changes our world—and the world around us.)
  6. Our vision of our reality and the world changes. We begin to understand how our ‘reality” responds to our thoughts and emotions. We also learn how to change our perception of life because we understand the seeing the “goodness” is part of what brings it into our lives.
  7. We naturally live on a higher vibration as a result of participating in manifestation. We begin to see problems as areas of life, which require a higher frequency, meditation, or inspired action. We also begin to “know” that other people are doing the same thing. It’s how we meet our True Self through meditation–and connect with others who align with the universe in the same beautiful way.

Gentle Insights into the Self

  1. You’re more powerful than you think. Your feelings and thoughts affect the space and people around you. When you consciously direct your thoughts in a positive way, it changes the flow of the events. The best way to create conscious change is through the inner self and connection with the universe.
  2. You create a better future by believing in your power to do so. The potential becomes greater when you practice visualization and gain awareness of your thoughts and feelings. By seeing your inner world with a different light, you learn how to envision for the outer world. When many people hold a positive vision for the outer world, it’s possible to create amazing change.
  3. When you experience a sense of well-being and soft happiness, it helps everyone around you. Everyone is drawn to this type of energy field. Practice recalling memories of feeling well, happy, and relaxed. You automatically pull these emotions into the future by focusing on them. (Focusing involves concentration and energy. When you place your energy on a particular point of consciousness, it expands.)
  4. A part of you is always connected. You may not always feel your connection, but it’s always there. You can meditate more, ask for help, call on your guides or angels, and recall feeling of inner connection. If you stay with your practices, you’ll find your inner self. (Everyone moves in and out of this space in a given day.)
  5. Many people believe a very special group of people were called here for the group awakening. If you are awakening, you probably have special talents and gifts. (It’s helpful to know you can focus on your inner light and help others—regardless of your livelihood or life direction.) Everyone in this group works with personal problems, which likely involve clearing global karma or holding light for others. Your small efforts help far more than you think, and your light counts a great deal.

Turn to the Light

Light and love are always the answer. They hold the highest vibrations on the planet. If we call on the light, the universe answers. But it’s easier to access “light” by using specific techniques.

Light responds differently with specific situations and meditations. These brief exercises work well for a variety of a problems, including receiving more enlightenment and understanding. When we see and feel life differently, it often alters into a higher vibration—and brings more positive outcome.

“Real” love feels unconditional, soft, and centered. It brings healing, answers, and gentle self-motivation. It helps in seeing the good in the self and others. It is like looking through a beautiful, rainbow lens with a heart, which feels uplifted and calm. All of the exercises will help in finding this place.

Here are a few tips.

  1. Come to center and find inner self on a daily basis. Meditation helps in finding the true self. From this place, wisdom, self-love, and peace flow. The answer is in the center; it feels simple and true when you find it. (It’s easiest to call in the light by becoming still. It’s helpful to pull inward to feel the inner self. )
  2. Put your attention on happiness. Happiness—like all inner states—requires attention and contemplation. (It’s actually a habit.) Notice all of the things, which bring happiness in your life. Listen to your voice to see if it conveys happiness. Notice your feelings when you look at objects, read emails, or travel short distances. Make a conscious effort to expand and find happiness throughout the day.
  3. Peace acts like a river; it eases and soothes emotion. There are no thoughts when we align with peace, only stillness. Imagine experiencing peace before/after others attempt to pull us into drama. (As our energy level heightens, others try to pull you into their drama. By detaching from their drama and visualizing a happy outcome, we can return to place of peace.
  4. Know that life moves in a cyclical pattern, marked by highs and lows. The challenge lies in finding and observing the pattern, altering emotions, and making “center” or the true self more important than the feelings and situation.
  5. Conflicting thoughts comprise part of spiritual growth. It’s how we put ourselves together and resolve the many parts of the self. When the answer comes, it will be simple. It will resonate with the inner self. Until this time comes, notice the feelings. It’s okay to feel two, conflicting emotions and/or thoughts. Eventually, the thoughts do bring resolution and wholeness.
  6. Pull the mind away from upsetting thoughts and situations. Return to the heart. Practice meditation to return to center, then visualize a positive outcome in a place of stillness.
  7. Know the process is working, and the universe wants to help. While many of these tips and exercises are not logical, they follow spiritual law. Our visualizations thoughts, and emotions alter the course of life because they invoke—and the most  powerful part of our inner being.

Penumbral Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon

The penumbral lunar eclipse and full moon appeared at 8 am on March 23. It’s interesting to note the moon was void of course, which means it’s important to relax, do very little, and enjoy life. (Another way of saying this is it takes a lot more energy than usual to do anything.) Since the full moon and lunar eclipse set the stage for the next several weeks, we’re likely to experience alternating periods of activity and passivity, which includes the desire to do “nothing” besides admire trees and flowers.

Rather than seeing this chart as difficult and/or challenging, I see it as the expression of what we already know. Awakening and enlightenment require work and focus. This usually means making sacrifices, but the work is easier when we truly want something. In this case, we are working for awakening, which is well worth the effort.

The Sun is in Aries, a powerful, male, fire sign, which likes action and activity. The moon is placed in Libra, bringing a focus on relationships. On this note, the most important relationship is with the inner self. It’s how we find our light and dance through life.

We also see ourselves in the reflection of others and learn communication skills such as speaking through the inner self, create boundaries, and express the love in our heart. Much of life revolves around relationships. There’s no way around it. (We also see how others see “us.”)

Mercury moved into Aries, encouraging motion, assertion, and expression in our lives. (Earlier, we had many planets in Pisces, which slowed our actions because we were reviewing emotion, the past, and old wounds.) Fortunately, Mercury in Aries helps with clear thoughts and creating a strong focus for moving forward.

Venus remains in Pisces, so we are continuing to review what we want on a physical level including comforts, relationships, and abundance. Human love involves boundaries, specific emotions, and a specific type of communication. It’s more than how things look and/or strong attractions; it’s more about having the kind of love that heightens the loveliness of the inner self. (In this chart, Venus aspects almost every planet with the exception of Uranus. An exception means it’s important to consider what type of love/life is congruent with the New Age and Uranus, which symbolizes spiritual change.)

Mars is in Sagittarius, which encourages action with our spiritual desires. Sagittarius is a fire sign, indicated by the archer, so it’s particularly important to know the underlying reason for our desire for expression. With a strong emphasis on collective activities in the New Age, it’s important to think about how our work influences the “whole.”

Mars and Saturn (in Sagittarius) are square Neptune and Chiron, meaning it’s important to clear old wounds and beliefs to move into a more spiritual space—and express our inner self. Energy is always exchanged in the process of internal growth, so the challenge is to clear old patterns and structures while creating anew.

Jupiter (good fortune, benevolence) in Virgo squares Saturn (time, limitation, karma) and opposes Neptune (elation, idealism) and Chiron (the wounded healer.) This simply means we have work to do because a positive experience of material reality includes devotion, seeing through illusion, using the imagination, and clearing old wounds. It’s pretty clear.

The conjunction of Venus, Neptune, and Chiron offers the opportunity to see the beauty in the past and to use the imagination in the future—to dream up something remarkable and beautiful. Sun and Mercury in Aries trine Mars in Sagittarius. The grouping in fire gives the chance to express our vision and make a big change in our life.

There are good and beautiful things everywhere. Part of finding them depends on releasing the hold of the past and receiving those higher vibrations, which appear almost every moment. The easiest way to do this is by focusing on the presence of the inner self.

Sabian Symbols

Sun is in Aries 4,  “Two Lovers Are Strolling Through A Secluded Walk.” Duality is one of the current focuses of recent astrological charts. On a higher level, our relationship with the “self” involves merging the opposites within our personality—the light and dark aspects of the self. It also means observing our outer relationship with the world and bringing it into alignment with the inner self.

On the mundane level, it’s important to make time for meaningful experiences within a relationship. The expression of love can feel incredible. It doesn’t always require words or gestures. It can come as simply as the enhancement of beauty because of another’s presence.

We learn about ourselves in relationships, and we review the information in seclusion or stillness. It’s another necessary part of our walk on the path.

Moon is in Libra 4, “A Group of Young People Sit in Spiritual Communion Around a Campfire.” Youth can refer to the early stages of spiritual development, the neophyte, as well as the current radio shows, articles, and classes on the subject. The campfire refers to the element of fire, the passion and quest for spiritual energy.

Regardless, communion in the Age of Aquarius is important. It’s how we are learning to feel the spiritual power of the group through communion. The “right” group can accelerate spiritual understanding and insights; it can heighten the experience of inner awakening.

Mercury is on Aries 3, “A Man’s Profile Suggests the Outline of his Country.” This symbol refers to the importance of the individual and his/her relationship to the collective. People—their values, history, and beliefs—play a role in the focus and overall feeling of the collective.

Venus is on Pisces 14, “A Woman Wrapped in Fox Fur.” Venus focuses on earthly pleasures, and a woman wrapped in fox fur exemplifies this vision. In the past, beauty, fame, and wealth have been displayed extravagantly, sometimes as a sign of power. Certainly, it is an expression of the ego.

If we look at the real essence of love, it belongs to the heart and the sea of love—that strangely, wonderful sensation of connection. Perhaps, this symbol acts an indication of the right time to alter our values.

Mars sits on Sagittarius 6, “A Game of Cricket.” Again, we encounter a symbol involving the importance of the group as well as a game. Games involve rules, sportsmanship, fairness, and consideration to all of the players. It indicates the importance of teamwork as we move into a new world.

Jupiter is on Virgo 17, “A Volcanic Eruption Bringing Dust Clouds and Lava.” Jupiter rules good fortune, so it’s helpful to “see” the eruption as positive—the result of releasing old anger, emotions, and beliefs.

Part of awakening is experiencing the new “light” as it touches on old emotions and hurts. We have two choices. We can work to clear the old emotion and wounds by using it to become a better person—or we can spew the energy at others. If we release in a positive way, it is possible to move into a whole new level of being with extraordinary experiences.

New Moon: Mercury and Jupiter Retrograde

The year (almost) begins with a new moon on Saturday, January 9. New moons are good for visualizing dreams and plans that take root as the moon becomes full. It also symbolizes the beginning of the lunar cycle.

It’s a very, earthy new moon with Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Pluto placed in Capricorn. This sign rules the outer world, focusing on form, structure, status, and expression. An earth sign, Capricorn represents maturation, the ability to express and put spiritual beliefs into form. (Dharma is the physical expression of spirituality as work in the physical sphere.) This sign is symbolized by the goat, which can span great heights and leap up mountains. It also rules the knees as a representation of humility.

Earth signs are prevalent throughout the year, and they bring the ability to “build” in the physical. This can mean bringing our dreams into fruition, living in alignment with our spiritual beliefs, and becoming stronger both spiritually and physically. It’s interesting to note that many of us want to live in a more spiritual world, but we tend to lack a working version of it. (I believe everyone’s vision is important and contributes to the whole. We are much more creative than we think.)

The chart presents several, interesting equations, which we can successfully move through with focus and enlightened consciousness. The biggest challenge lies in using our inner strength. Can we see and project beauty and light when we don’t feel it? (I ask this because it is a “heavy” chart with many planets in earth, and it includes challenging and uplifting aspects. If we focus on the beauty and light, we will undoubtedly “pull” it in.)

Mercury is currently retrograde through January 25th. Mercury rules electronics, communications, and the higher mind. It is not a good time to form new partnerships, begin a new job, or take long trips. Expect delays and work on patience because Mercury retrograde in Capricorn is a bit slow and plodding. DO use this time to discover what you want. Look at houses, electronics, cars, and consider new jobs, but don’t take action.

Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Pluto are all conjunct (close together), and Pluto represents the power of transformation and transmutation. By using the energy wisely, we can have “break-through” moments in understanding how to bring our dreams into form in a practical sense. Important points include considering how it might feel, experiencing the desire in “reality”, and considering the impact of the shift.

Venus (feminine, beauty, art) is almost exactly conjunct Saturn (limitation, restriction, the effect of time.) Both planets are placed in Sagittarius, which represents expansion and spiritual truth, Together, they can help in forming a new structure for our lives — if we focus on the beauty and light, which are inherent in the world. We tend to forget how our emotions shape the outcome of life. When we focus on beauty, truth, and the sacred, we pull it into “life” — our life and the outer world. Uranus trines Venus and Saturn harmoniously, meaning it expands the possibility of using inner focus to bring spiritual freedom into our lives.

Mars currently sits in Scorpio, and this placement tends to bring passionate reactions. Mars rules assertion, anger, and ambition, and Scorpio expands the tendency to express feelings strongly. It presents a learning curve of learning what brings our emotions to the surface and how we can express ourselves from the heart in a calm way. (People don’t usually ignite our emotions; our inner feelings and patterns do this.)

Jupiter will move retrograde on January 7 in Virgo. Currently, it trines (harmonious) Sun, Moon, and Mercury with additional emphasis on the quality of earth. Jupiter represents a beneficial force, bringing blessings and cosmic help. In retrograde position, Jupiter encourages self-observation and self-control for inner growth. This process can bring answers through spiritual truth.

Saturn squares Neptune, asking for a balance of mysticism and practicality. Saturn (limitation) restricts, and Neptune (mysticism) floats through life with visions and feelings. Uranus (freedom) and Pluto (underworld, transformation) remain square. Likely, we’ll feel restricted, inspired, spiritually lifted into the light, and forced into the underworld in phases, which pass rather quickly.

Overall, the chart urges the development of inner spiritual qualities at particular intervals. Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Pluto in Capricorn are ruled by Saturn, which is restriction and structure. Venus in Sagittarius asks for a focus on beauty and truth. Mars in Scorpio can bring strong reactions, but it can also bestow courage. The chart in entirety asks for development of inner qualities such as personal insight, awareness, patience, and planning, but our ability to envision “good” and bring it into being — despite our feelings and variation in the sensation of energy.

  1. Our feelings and thoughts may feel contradictory and confusing as the planets bring many, different energies to the surface. Acceptance of the many facets of human nature is helpful. It’s also useful to know the inner self perceives the divine, including beauty, love, and peace. We have the power to raise our vibrations at any time.
  2. Observe the rules of Mercury retrograde. Plan extra time for travel and tasks. Don’t purchase electronics, computers, or cars. Don’t sign contracts. Rest, review, and make plans (don’t act on them.) Finish projects. Everything will take longer than usual with Mercury retrograde in an earth sign. Practice kindness and patience.
  3. Moods and feelings will shift often. It’s okay. It won’t last forever. Planets in Capricorn can feel restrictive and limit self-esteem. Focus on self-love and personal dharma. Angry feelings may come and go with Mars in Scorpio. Observe and move into a neutral space. It’s all a lesson in mastery.
  4. Our job is envisioning good for the future as well as creating it in our lives. Ask for the expansion of ideals, dreams, and good things in life.
  5. Spend time outdoors and connect with the earth. The earth is a generator with unlimited energy. Notice the beauty and pull it into form.

The Dispensation

As part of the 26,000 year cycle, light is released periodically into the electromagnetic field of the planet. Some people refer to this as the Shift. Others believe it relates to a Golden Age, which will come in time. For those who can see on the etheric level, the planetary light level is growing. The planet is holding more light.

During the periods of heightened energy, we step down waves of light (photonic energy) into our chakras and light body. We process the energy through our nervous system. The sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems absorb the energy into the body. This increases the connection between the current/present physical self and the higher self. As the connection develops, we remember more of who we truly are, what we came here to do, and how to find the direction of our path.

Alignment with light comes from reading the waves through our spiritual body and translating the energy and information into a form that makes sense with our physical reality. As we pull the energy into the chakras and light body, we clear through our bodies (spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical) to process and integrate the light into our life.

If we look at the process from an intuitive or etheric level, we are literally collecting light in our overall field. It makes everything respond to us differently. (We don’t look or feel the same to our environment and people in our lives on a subconscious level.) It takes time to adjust. It is an incremental process. It is truly a process because we must raise our frequency to adjust to the light.

When frequency is raised, it causes us to see life from a new perspective.  For those who have a higher light level, we are definitely engaged. Our personal problems relate to difficulties experienced by many, and our circumstances and efforts involve raising the frequency and structure of mass consciousness. When we touch our problems with our light, we literally light the way for many people.  On a positive note, our work aligns us with our higher self-and helps others connect to their inner self.

2 Beautiful Women & the Soul

Two beautiful and powerful women, Allana Pratt and Jennifer Hoffman, talk about the soul today, May 8 and 9, on the telesummit, The Power of Inner Connection. (Go to: or click on summit link above.)

Allana Pratt photo 2015

Allana speaks about the relationship of the soul and physical pleasure as well as the nature of the heart. She relates how the heart can respond to pain and joy to become more whole and loving–if we allow it. She also tells us how the lower chakras are a place of power, which charge the body with physical energy, when we learn how to tap into their frequency. Allana presents a charged interview filled with the nuances of duality, including laughter, pain, joy, and interpretation of memory and experience.

Jennifer Hoffman is wonderfully cosmic and practical in the same instant. She explains the prevalent roles of humanity, how to discard them, and take on the image of the inner self. Always crystal clear and grounded, Jennifer explains the importance of taking action in the physical world and why we must act on our intuitions and spiritual leads. She also shares her insights about the “energy” of the summer, telling us how to grow with the light of a gentler time. (Jennifer also recorded and prepared a special gift for our listeners, which goes live today.)

Plan to make time to listen to Allana and Jennifer. You can learn so much more!

Planetary Change: Approaching Uranus/Pluto Square

The forecast is much like spring, delivering an interplay of storms and soft, warm days. We’re sitting on the last Uranus/Pluto square, which becomes direct on March 16. Uranus extends spiritual understanding and light; Pluto offers transmutation of the inner darkness. Together, they encourage awareness of the inner self. It’s part of the Great Awakening.

Moving more deeply into the inner self is a dance, involving a motion between darkness and light. We descend into our personal shadow, rise out of it through our inner light (and faith), and create a new life. When many people move into awakening–one of the qualities of the quantum field–life changes for everyone.

From a higher perspective, a beautiful event is taking place. Higher energies are moving us into awakening—a new world based on intuition, vibration, and energy. The lower energies will not survive in the new world. (Think of a television with one hundred channels. The universe is removing the channels featuring violence and lower thoughts.)

Several factors make the passage of the Uranus/Pluto square more challenging, and others mitigate it through harmonious geometry. Mars square Pluto is one of the more difficult aspects. The square can cause feelings of tension, anger, and misunderstanding, making it wise to wait on discussions. (When the Mars/Pluto square passes, we can speak from the heart.) Compassion is a good focus for our consciousness as we pass through the squares.

Trines play into the mix by softening the energy, giving the intermittent feeling of sunlit days. (Trines are represented by triangles, which symbolize harmony.) They are helpful in believing in the good and beautiful qualities of mankind and the universe. They also give confidence and the ability to move forward. Mars and Venus are close to Uranus, all positioned in Aries—giving energy for a new beginning. The three planets trine Saturn in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Leo.

The trines in fire points to the need for discovering the passion for the inner self and resuming the journey into the light. Everyone has moments of connection and/or seeing the light. The point is to change our lives and remain focused on finding our inner light. (We’re in the gate of a 26,000 year dispensation of light. It won’t last forever!)

  • Beautiful journeys of the soul are often difficult. We pass through emotions and thoughts, which carry the fabric of doubt and fear. By continuing to meditate on the inner and outer light, we find the courage to leave the “old” self behind. This is part of the lesson of Uranus square Pluto.
  • Pluto reveals aspects of life, which were previously hidden. It’s not easy, but it creates a better life if we can translate the energy into new, more evolved experiences.
  • With Mars square Pluto, we can feel impulsive emotions such as anger, irritation, or frustration. We may experience the emotions of other people as well. Meditate on the issue and wait a week or two. (Emotions are not always real.)
  • Stay willing to look at the repetition of life. Repetition often points to wounds, which need healing. We repeat aspects of life so we can create change and see the underlying truth.
  • Expect periods of strong emotion, lower emotion (mass consciousness), and higher emotion. We will feel many emotions; it’s a shift.
  • The flow of life may change a great deal in a few weeks. Remain faithful to meditation, visualization, and a beautiful vision of life. (With powerful trines, it’s possible to connect strongly to the “good” in life.)
  • Trust in the journey and continue seeking the light.
