More Abundance, Part II

Abundance is part of cosmic connection.
“Reality” responds to our inner thoughts and feelings. When we are connected with the inner self and the universe, our thoughts and feelings change. In general, energy flows into the physical, amplifying our thoughts, feelings, emotions, and sensations – in a positive sense.
Energy follows our frequency. Abundance responds to our thoughts and feelings.
The positive, peaceful energy of meditation flows best when we receive it with positive energy and thoughts. It often boosts creativity and awakens inner desires.
Abundance grows as a result of our inner work.
Raising personal frequency comes from inner connection, positive thoughts, and images–and a strong desire to create to something new and better in life.
1) Every physical and spiritual change requires meditative work as well as small, personal changes in the physical world. An initial step may involve savings or small purchases, thinking of money differently, or thinking about it in a new way. (It can also involve additional work and/or a new attitude about work.)
2) In spiritual work, it’s necessary to accept the moment (good and bad) while meditating joyfully on the desired change. Accept the moment and bless its goodness while continuing to see a “better” reality. With abundance, a desired change should include positive (but reasonable and practical) material shifts, an increase of ease in life, and some form of spiritual application (study, classes, self-development) – as well balanced generosity.
3) It’s important to bless the appearance of answers – even when they are not exactly correct. It may appear that the desired job is on the horizon or money is on the way, but it doesn’t manifest. Give thanks for the appearance and continue to visualize. (It’s a sign of the universe taking note – an indication of the coming of the fulfilled desire.)
4) Take note of when/where/how visualizations work and/or don’t manifest. Give particular attention to these areas. Create new images, feelings of excitement, and the sensation of relief and gratitude associated with success. Don’t give up. Practice more.
5) It can take time to create through meditation and visualization. It’s a practice, not a temporary answer. When a small dream is realized, visualize a larger one. Recreate your dream consistently and visualize it often. (The power of this practice can be utilized in many areas of life. )

Experiencing Inner Connection in the Outer World

With half of the planets in a retrograde position, it’s important to focus on creating a deeper connection with the inner self while working in the outer (physical) world. The outer world offers many distractions, but we can use simple tasks to raise our consciousness by looking inward to test our level of connection.

When we are connected, life exudes flavor, depth, and elusive quality of mystery. When we find connection in all aspects of life, we gain a great deal of freedom. Metaphysics refers to this practice as finding the “plumb” line, the center of energy, which aligns with the heart space.

Here are a few tips:

1) When you remember to look for the light in everything (people, events, objects) and see the “good”, life responds to your energy. When you remember the inner self—and your power to project positive outcomes—life expands the vibration. The good finds you. (If you’re working with negative patterns take note of them. Observe and project a happier pattern for the future.)

2) Remember the reason for your work. If it comes from the heart, it’s worthy of consistent effort and light. If you don’t love your work, you can radiate light and love to it. The higher vibration eventually brings in a different venue or situation. (Think about what you love or like most about your work and imagine success.)

3) Part of spiritual work involves the unseen world. Sometimes, you can’t see the results immediately. it can take time or happen instantly. It’s helpful to realize you are working with the universe, which desires “good” and wonderful things for you. When you wait for a change, you often make realizations, alter your visualization, or become very consistent in your practice. Often, the changes are happening long before they come info form. (Keep going.)

4) When the inner and outer life are connected, you experience a different type of energy with focus and concentration. There is a feeling of engagement or a “click” when the inner and outer lives connect. The world becomes quieter, and you feel directed by the “all.” There is a beautiful flow. The mind clears, and the events in life feel less overwhelming. The energy around you increases its frequency. (This is an excellent time to engage in visualization and project your desires into the world.)

5) You will move in and out of a connected state. It’s normal. You can return to your inner self by focusing on the heart, imagining pink light (love), or remembering your purpose (the importance of your light and love in the world.) By learning more about the cause of the distractions, the people, conversations, and thoughts, you can find your inner connection more easily.

6) Bring your spiritual essence into everyday task by becoming completely present. Focus on your hands and feet. Notice the graceful motions of your body. See the task completed as you work. Take a few minutes to breathe and rest before launching into the next task.

5)The universe wants to connect with you by sharing its power, light and goodness. When you meditate or visualize, you open the door for the connection to take place. After your practice, you can invite more of the universe into your life. It’s helpful to ask questions. What would it feel like if I connected more deeply with the universe? How would my life change?

Feeling More Gratitude

The concept of gratitude emerged around a decade ago. Introduced by Stacey Robyn (Go Gratitude), Ester and Jerry Hicks, and discussed in the movie, The Secret, it was touted as a system of creating more good in life. Obviously, gratitude is important, but it’s like so many things–a practice to reap “good” or abundance doesn’t work. (Initially, I remember spending an hour looking around the room while notating items for the expression of gratitude.)

There’s an easier and better method of practicing gratitude. Once you find the missing piece, the practice becomes easy and rewarding. It does reap benefits, but you tend not to care.

Easy Steps For Feeling More Gratitude

1) Nothing truly works without spiritual connection. Connection is the point. Start with meditation, and see where your consciousness moves. Notice how life feels lighter, and everything responds to your deepened state of being. Noticing and observing invoke a state of gratitude.

2) While connected, notice the motion of your consciousness. When you are connected outdoors, you hear the wind more succinctly. You notice the movement of the trees. You hear the birds. You feel the blessing of life. When you are indoors, you may feel the quietness and calm of your meditation. Notice the direction of your senses and the more pleasing objects in the room. (These are blessings. Give thanks.)

3) When you feel strong, happy, or loved, expand the feeling. Imagine more of the feeling, which amplifies the vibration. Amplifying the vibration leads to expansion in life. Expansion and connection are interrelated.

4) When life is moving well, comment to yourself about the feeling of your life. Notice your practices and note your connection. Part of gratitude is simply noticing your blessings.

5) When your efforts make a positive difference, thank the universe. You experience the “good” as part of your connection with the Divine. The same is true with the higher aspects of the self.

6) When you are in a higher state, you naturally notice the good in life. The movement of the mind into the flow of goodness marks a higher state of consciousness. Pay attention. When your attention rests on the good in life, this is a state of gratitude. (Your inner dialog is a good indication of your state of mind.)

Using Gratitude with Problems

It’s the opposite of the practice listed above. The idea is not to notice good things; it’s about changing your focus when you think about problems. Everyone thinks about problems with negative thoughts and emotions—even positive people do this.

Problems are simply where we need more energy or a different type of energy. Energy can include a change in physical routine, a new belief, feeling, or changing the lens of your focus.

  • Remember, you are a creator. You can change your reality by altering your vision and perception of life. You may not know how to do it, but you have the capacity. At least, you can create change. You can feel grateful about your capacity to alter your life, and take a minute or two to see or feel it differently.
  • When you think life is not going well, notice what is okay or bearable. Put your attention on what’s working. Maybe, you don’t have time to do all of your work. But you can do some of it. Notice what you have completed and bless it—or give thanks. In this way, you amplify the good. (When you can’t figure out the next step, visualize it and give thanks for your inner ability.)
  • When you argue with people, remember you have the ability to send light, calm your feelings, or come up with another solution. You can move back into your self-worth and remember what you like about yourself. (If you can, recall what you do like about the other person.) Love is a very special quality of the universe, which changes much of life. When you move back into a state of love, life alters. Thank the universe for the opportunity.
  • If you’ve practiced spiritual work, you know how to center. Everything changes when you center your attention on the presence of your inner self. You will feel grateful without any effort when you achieve it.
  • When you have a difficult day, think about the days that go well. (You’re actually giving gratitude for those times while pushing your energy in the direction of positivity.) Whenever you feel overwhelmed by a problem, notice what isn’t wrong. (If the cake falls, I can make another one or buy one—at least. Maybe, I have to take the animals to the vet, but it’s for a check-up, and nothing’s wrong.) You’re diverting your attention from the problem into the goodness of the moment. It works.

One of the greatest gifts of all is our ability to change our consciousness through connection. It’s a great blessing!
