Easy, Happier Change


As nature alters the outer world with new life, it’s a perfect time for change. It’s lovely to create change that positively alters the direction of your life.

The world is full of tips for an easier, happier, and better life, but it really begins with you. The biggest changes come from finding the inner self, and they make life better, and happier (in the long run—at least.)

If you start with inner work, it’s easier than the way you’re taught in the “real” world. When you find your inner self first, the universe helps. Sometimes, the help comes through other people, a class, or a realization. Other times, it is simply a feeling that is used as a guide to find the way.

Here are a few tips for creating change from the inside out.

Listen to your intuition. Positive intuition is the voice of the heart, the direction of the inner self. By practicing with it, the voice – and feeling – become more noticeable. You can ask for the best way to perform a task, when it’s best to call a friend, or how to create more abundance and love. (You already listen to it in the parts of life that you’ve mastered and/or developed.)

Find balance between the spiritual and physical worlds. Discover the right balance of passive/assertive action for you.  Spend time in visualization/meditation and seeing all of life moving in the wonderful direction of your desire. Allow emotions and thoughts to move into a high vibration. Then, take a positive step to enact your dream in the physical world. (A small step is fine. Just follow your inner guidance.) After the action, visualize positive results and repeat the process.

Use your power. You’re more powerful than you think! Begin by visualizing small, happy events – a parking space, a check in the mail, or a gift from a special friend. Energize the desire. Think of times when you focused strongly and created a change. Remember when you spoke up in a calm, powerful voice. Remember when you’ve helped your self and others to find a better place of being.

Find the heart space. Your heart is the center of your being, the place of love, where you can center, send love to others, and find the help from the Universe. The heart tells you about everything that is true, lovely, and eternal. (It’s also a wonderful place to rest and detach from the world.)

Alter your perception. See the good in life. Notice the beauty, joy, and love. It’s possible to change aspects of life by changing the your inner focus. Think about the light in loved ones, notice the color of flowers, and reflect on the gift of the motion of life. (On a more specific level, you could decide your current job is leading to a wonderful one, or your bills are decreasing as your income increases. Regardless, the practice moves you into a higher state of consciousness.

By practicing these tips, you can make life easier and better because the tips engage the inner self and a different, higher part of consciousness. Over time, they will become habitual and will help a great deal. At the beginning of the practice, they will increase your energy and bring positive emotions.
