Good Things

I’m listing some of my favorite things, ranging from books to medicinal herbs and crystals. You’ll find links and suggestions. I am NOT an affiliate with any of these people or services. I simply like them — and thought you might, too.

Tinctures for Health

Made by a young herbalist from mushrooms gathered near the Pisgah National Forest, I’ve found these products invigorating and supportive of better health.

chaga

Lion’s Mane mushroom (Hericium erninaceus) has been used for millennia by Buddhist Monks to improve brain function.  Two of its unique classes of constituents hericenones and erinacines have been found to increase Nerve Growth Factor (stimulate nerve regeneration.)

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is called the King of Mushcrooms because of its anticarcinogenic, immunomodulatory, antitumor, adaptogenic, anti-mutagenic, geno-protective, antiviral, and antioxidant properties.  (David Wolfe is perhaps chaga’s most famous advocate and author of the only book dedicated to the fungus and has an excellent video touting many of chaga’s healing attributes in the following link.
