Planetary Weather: It’s Eclipse Season

It’s the middle of eclipse season when the cosmos encourages new structures and ways of living that are better reflections of the inner self.  Our systems reboot with every eclipse, and the opportunity continues on July 27 (lunar eclipse) and August 11 (partial solar eclipse). With every eclipse, we receive a “boost” of light to reassemble life into a higher form, which can lift us into a new place of being or feel like burn-out.

The huge planetary retrograde continues with Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Chiron moving backwards. (Mercury, planet of communications, moves retrograde on July 26.) Many planets in retrograde can make it feel difficult to find direction, and Mars retrograde (more below) makes everything feel strange and tiring. There is a benefit in retrograde season. The influence of mass consciousness is lessened, and it’s easier to hear our inner voice. When the energetic pool of the world is less agitated, we can find truth and understanding through meditation and reflection.

Sun (life) is in Cancer, a water sign ruling emotion, and Moon (emotions) is in Scorpio, which rules birth, death, and regeneration. In combination, these are forces making for a fertile period of time. (Fertile can refer to thoughts, emotions, actions, and visualizations.)

Sun squares Mars (male, action), which can cause conflict between our path in life and our desire to act. Sun opposes Uranus (awakening, sudden change), and it can cause erratic action and/or conflict between our soul’s path and our personal desire to move forward on the earthly plane.

Moon (emotions) in Scorpio aspects every planet except Mercury (communication). Many aspects with the moon indicate strong, unusual emotions. (Don’t act on them.) Moon squares Mars (action, male), which makes it easy to confuse emotional reaction with a desire for action.

Mars, The Challenge of Non-Action

Mars in Aquarius is retrograde, which can limit and affect physical vitality. It can also cause too much thought and incorrect action. This aspect lasts until August 27. (A square creates tension. Think of a ninety degree angle with two sides pressing against one another.  Mars squares Jupiter (good fortune, expansion) and Uranus (awakening, sudden change).

One of the wisest placements of consciousness during Mars retrograde lies in non-action. In the Taoist tradition, non-action does not mean refraining from action but to become passively awake and aware while performing daily tasks. Through this state of enhanced consciousness, we invoke the inner self, which leads us to deeper realizations. (Action prompted by the inner self is fine.)

Mercury

Mercury (communications) in Leo encourages the learning experience of expressing the truth of the heart. In all honesty, it takes time and work to accurately express the feelings of the heart. Mercury squares Jupiter (good fortune, expansion), encouraging the spiritual task of looking carefully at other people, circumstances, and our own feelings before translating thoughts and feelings into words. (Mercury will join the group of retrograde planets next week.)

Venus

Venus (love, feminine) continues with loving support through a Grand Trine with Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) and Uranus (awakening, sudden change.) Venus opposes (opposite feelings at different times) Neptune (illusion, mysticism), which causes difficulty separating illusion and feelings of love. Venus trines Pluto, which adds passion to the equation. In short, Venus is teaching us about learning to love in new ways at a higher level. (The Grand Trine is in earth signs and points to the possibility of self-nourishment and cultivation of love through nature.)

Jupiter

Jupiter (good fortune) trines Neptune (mysticism, illusion), bringing optimistic thoughts to the surface, and Saturn (karma, time) trines Uranus (awakening, change) and helps in combining the old and new worlds as well as our past and future.

Chiron

Chiron, placed in Aries, indicates the need for a new way of healing – a beginning of experiencing healing in a different way with insights from the Higher Self. Sun (life) and North Node (spiritual direction) trine Chiron, hinting that old wounds can be overcome by focusing on the right path of life while focusing on our spiritual purpose. Saturn (time, karma) squares Chiron as an indication that we continue to review and rewrite old patterns and outdated ways of life.

Tips:

  1. Eclipse season creates change within the self. It’s possible to move into a higher level and reconfigure ourselves.
  2. Many planets in retrograde bring strange feelings, which can cause tiredness and/or bring insight into the inner self. (It’s helpful to meditate and create lists of needed tasks on the inner and outer plane.)
  3. It’s an emotional chart with Sun and Moon in water signs. Moon is aspected by many planets, which can cause strange emotions. (Emotions are not always real.)
  4. Mars retrograde brings a feeling of heaviness and sometimes tiredness. Thoughts can seem intense with Mars in Aquarius, and it’s important to think long and hard before taking action. Ask your inner self and meditate on desires for strong action.
  5. Venus is lovely again with her position in the Grand Earth Trine. Spend time in nature and meditate on the beauty. Focus on the heart. (Heart meditations are particularly energizing.)

New Moon and Partial Solar Eclipse Forecast

The New Moon appears on July 12 at 10:47 pm. It’s a Super New Moon, meaning that the moon is very close to the earth, and the darkness or void – associated with this moon phase – will feel more profound than usual. It’s a complex chart with challenges, positive and harmonizing aspects such as a Grand Trine, and many retrograde planets.

A partial solar eclipse on the evening of July 13 adds to the intensity. Eclipses act as a reset, an opportunity to align with the intentions of the inner self. Our energy goes on and off with the motion of the sun/moon. It’s a bit like throwing a circuit breaker. (Fortunately, we can focus and intend the placement of our consciousness for the reboot.)

Sun and Moon

Sun (life) and Moon (emotions) are placed on the same degree of Cancer, a water sign ruling the sea, the home, and the mother.  Self-nourishment, reflection, security, and the flow of feminine energy are positive qualities that are amplified by Sun/Moon in Cancer. Sun and Moon trine (harmonious) Jupiter (good fortune) and Neptune (mysticism, illusion), encouraging positive waves of emotion.

Sun and Moon oppose Pluto, planet of the subconscious, power, and transmutation. This challenging aspect brings awareness of oppression, strong (sometimes inappropriate) emotions, and manipulation (Plutonian qualities). By discovering and acting on our ability to move through the aspects of life that cause suffering, we can transform our lives.

Awakening involves awareness of the painful memories and patterns in life. It’s necessary to confront and heal old wounds to move fully into the light. The process requires courage, but it also opens life to light and love.

(For example, childhood trauma can result in specific limitations, but we can understand that our emotions and thoughts create repetitive situations and patterns. through heightened awareness, we can change our thoughts and emotions. This type of work alters the self, which can result in transformation.)

Thoughts and Actions

Mercury (mind, communications) sits in Leo, a fire sign ruling the heart. This placement causes strong, passionate thoughts, which are not always appropriate. Speaking from the heart – or about passionate quests – requires reflection to be clearly understood by others. It’s important to cool down the drama and think about the perception/feelings of the other person before sending an email, making a phone call, or sharing frank thoughts and feelings.

Additionally, Mercury squares (tension) Mars, making it more difficult to align thought and action. (Squares can help in overcoming personal limitations; the pressure can push us through a lack of perception.) Mercury squares Jupiter (good fortune, expansion), and this aspect emphasizes the importance of contemplating strong feelings and thoughts to discover the intention beneath them (intention, anger, fear, or the inner self) before taking action.

Mars (male, assertion, action) is placed in Aquarius, an air sign that prefers thought to action. (Mars is all about action.) This placement can cause thoughts  to build within, creating chaotic reactions and unsure actions. Mars squares Jupiter (good fortune), indicating much thought and little action are not conducive to positive change. Mars squares Uranus (sudden change, awakening), evoking strong, sudden action in response to unexpressed feelings and emotions. (Take time to think of the best way to express feelings and thoughts – and refrain from acting spontaneously on strong emotions.)

Both Mercury (thought) and Mars (action) are in fixed signs, increasing the likelihood of acting on old patterns or remaining inflexible with other people’s point of view. Mercury in Leo tends to focus on thoughts pertaining to personal feelings, and Mars in Aquarius is humanitarian but not always open to a larger point of view or a different possibility. By developing a greater awareness of the need for flexibility, it’s possible to work through the potential tension and conflict of the opposition between the two signs.

Venus: Love Leads the Way

Venus is placed in Virgo, represented by the virgin and/or high priestess. In this earth sign, Venus — ruler of the feminine, love, and material goods — is grounded and giving. Venus forms a Grand Trine with Saturn (time, karma) and Uranus (sudden, awakening), which helps to lift the entire chart.

Grand Trines aid with manifestation and aligning with the positive side of life. Venus deepens love, heightens awareness of beauty, and makes live feel soft and sweet. When Saturn is in positive aspect, it provides patience, insight over the passage of time, and structure, particularly with relationships. Uranus (awakening) always wants freedom and change, and it does provide an opportunity to create happiness with others without feeling encumbered.

Jupiter

Jupiter (good fortune, expansion) in Scorpio moved direct on July 10. During a retrograde, we learn through review and reflection. When a planet moves direct, it’s time to apply what we’ve learned. Jupiter aids the process with a beautiful trine with Neptune (mysticism, illusion), which increases optimism, hope, and beliefs involved with making a difference in the world.

Saturn

Saturn (time, karma) trines Uranus (sudden change, awakening), giving space and help in integrating the desired changes and transformation needed by mankind. This aspect creates fluidity with change and alignment with the new and old worlds.

Retrogrades

Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Chiron are retrograde. With many planets in retrograde, we tend to feel less of the conflict of the outer world, which can be restful. It is a time to relax and push less than in an active time, but it’s equally important to continue our pursuit on the spiritual path on a regular basis. In this way, we’re prepared for the next active phase, which comes in early fall.

Summary

  • Sun and Moon in Cancer indicate the importance of self-nurturing and cultivating positive emotions. Trines with Jupiter (good fortune) and Neptune (mysticism) encourage expansion of the self and creativity.
  • Sun and Moon oppose Pluto. The opposition heightens awareness of blocks and wounds. Through heightened awareness, it may be possible to transform pain into freedom. (The positive aspects with Jupiter/Neptune and Grand Trine with Venus offer relief and resolution.)
  • Mercury and Mars add confusion to the chart. Mercury (mind) in Leo thinks emotionally and passionately instead of wisely. Mars (action) wants to think and ponder instead of taking right action. It’s a muddle, but we can meditate for answers. (Mars is retrograde, and Mercury will move into retrograde soon. These energies persist for several weeks.)
  • Venus (love, relationships) forms beautiful geometry with Saturn (time, karma) and Uranus (awakening). The trine is in earth, which is stabilizing, and Venus acts with wisdom to create freedom in this equation.
  • With many planets in retrograde, it’s important to find balance between motivating and restful experiences. Balance becomes increasingly important as we move into the New Age.
  • This New Moon is a super moon, meaning the moon is close to the earth. When it’s dark, it’s wise to use our light to increase personal vitality, meditate deeply, and work on the self as opposed to the world. (The energy will shift within a week, and we can return to “lighting” up the world.)

Sabian Symbols from Lynda Hill

Sun and Moon are on Cancer 21, “A Prima Donna Singing”. The image evokes the image of a wildly talented woman singing. It can also represent a demanding person who always wants praise and reassurance. On the higher level, it speaks about the testing of our talents and gifts. True gifts are shared by opening the heart and releasing inhibitions about others.

Mercury sits on Leo 18, “A Chemist Conducts An Experiment For His Students”. Chemistry can refer to alchemy, the use of natural elements and materials in a laboratory where manipulation leads to new and better products. We manipulate our environment in a positive sense through consciousness and awareness. The symbol hints at the importance of using the mind to accomplish this.

Venus is placed on Virgo 4, “Black and White Children Playing Happily Together.” At first glance, the symbol refers to the balance of duality (yin, yang/black, white, etc). It can also denote the importance of love in overcoming differences and creating universal harmony.

Mars is on Aquarius 8, “Beautifully Gowned Wax Figures on Display”.  Wax figures are often superficial representations of true people. The symbol asks that we move completely into our true presence as opposed to a presenting a beautiful or acceptable image.

Jupiter sits on Scorpio 14, “Telephone Lineman at Work Installing New Connections.” This is a fabulous symbol because Jupiter plays a strong role in the overall chart. New Connections refer to how we communicate intuitively with one another – and the universe. It’s about expansion of group consciousness in the New Age.

5 Exercises for Positive Change and Increased Awareness

You can improve your life in a few days or weeks by repeating 1 or more of the exercises on a daily basis. As your emotions and thoughts alter, your life will change and move into a higher frequency.

True spiritual work is a short cut. The higher vibrations are more powerful than those encountered in daily life, and they have the potential to cut through karma (accumulated negativity and blocks) quickly. When you’re open to spiritual energy and free of old patterns, you have the freedom to create a better, happier life.

Here are the exercises. Feel free to edit and improvise.

  1. Focus on 4 or 5 happy memories. It’s best to choose memories that are associated with a time when you were in the flow of life and experiencing a sense of strong connection. Focus on each of the memories for about 30-60 seconds. After several practice periods, the happy feeling should stay with you for an hour or more. (This exercise is a personal favorite.)
  2. Think about what you like about yourself. Look at your accomplishments. Notice what you like about your body. Note your good qualities that you share with your friends, loved ones, and the world. Notice your light.
  3. Open your heart. Imagine a huge ray of beautiful pink light moving into your heart chakra. Feel your heart expand and accept the universal love. Contemplate the beauty of a boundless love and light that wants to support you and help you in life.
  4. Send light to your problems. Feel them fade away in the light. Notice the difference in how you feel about life. (You may feel more courage, ease, or calm.) Imagine a future version of yourself with the problem resolved.
  5. Become more aware of yourself. Focus your consciousness on your hands and feet while performing routine tasks. Feel your physical body. Become very present. Notice how awareness of the present moment and the physical world expands your consciousness and brings you into awakening.

Full Moon Forecast: Integration

The Full Moon appears on June 28. It’s known as the Strawberry Moon, a time of picking berries. It’s also called the Honey Moon as marriages under the Cancer Sun are known to be particularly fertile. The Full Moon confers fertility, germination, and aids with manifestation for approximately 10 days.

It’s important to focus on life giving qualities such as joy, happiness and lightness with this chart. It’s important to focus on life giving qualities such as joy, happiness and lightness with this chart.Thankfully, it’s not as intense as the solstice or previous new moon, but this chart delivers many aspects through the inner planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars) that we will feel on a personal level. it’s also a contradictory with chart with alternating energies from Jupiter (good fortune, expansion) and Saturn (karma, limitation.)

This week, the Sun is in Cancer, ruler of the fourth house. The water sign of Cancer brings a focus on home life, emotions and the subconscious mind—and their relationship with spirituality. (Water can represent devotion and nurturing as Cancer is the mother of the All. Think of the world in full bloom.)

Sun trines (harmonious) Jupiter, bringing a feeling of optimism, joy, and positive luck. Sun (life, light) opposes Saturn in Capricorn, and this can cause feelings of limitation and loss of enthusiasm about life. However, it’s possible to use the opposition to overcome emotional blocks and patterns to feel hopeful about a new future, particularly with Jupiter’s influence.

Moon (emotions, inner self) is in Capricorn, putting an emphasis on structure and foundation as opposed to lush growth. Moon in Capricorn can cause a desire for efficiency, order, and practical matters, but it’s important to feel and express emotion as indicated with the Cancer Sun. Expression of emotion is part of life, and there’s a tendency with Capricorn to focus on order, business, and the next thing to do – when it may be more important to give attention to the heart. Moon trines (harmonious) Uranus (awakening, sudden change), bringing a harmonious, unconventional creativity to the surface with a desire for the new and unknown.

Mercury is in Cancer, causing thoughts to bring up a great deal of emotion. Mercury will move into Leo, a fire sign ruling the heart, in a day or two, and our thoughts will move to our more passionate quests. Currently, Mercury (thought) squares (tension) Uranus (awakening, sudden change), eliciting unusual thoughts which may or may not be aligned with our purpose. Mercury opposes (tension between 2 sets of thoughts/feelings) Pluto (subconscious, transformation), which tends to increase the pressure of conflicting thoughts, can make us feel torn between two possible realities. (Align with the inner self and rise above the conflict.)

Venus (love, material possessions) in Leo is opposite Mars in Aquarius, which may make it more difficult to bring male/female parts of the self together in harmony. Venus wants fiery passion, and Mars (male, masculine) wants detachment. Venus squares Jupiter (good fortune, expansion) in Scorpio, which can give a tendency for self-indulgence instead of needed self-discipline.

Mars in Aquarius is currently retrograde, which can dilute physical energy and drive. It’s important to focus on activities, which give vitality and strength with Mars retrograde. It’s equally important to remain consistent with work and other activities as Mars retrograde lessens our overall energy. Mars squares Jupiter, bestowing energy and drive. It also tends to cause aggression so wait to express discontent. Mars squares Uranus (sudden change, awakening), and this aspect tends to cause erratic actions from misreading energy or misunderstanding a greater concept. (Contemplate for a day or two before taking action.)

Jupiter (good fortune) trines Uranus (sudden change, awakening), which is very helpful. This aspect combines Jupiter’s qualities of luck, expansion, and optimism with Uranus’ better qualities of new paradigms and ideals including communications, electronics, and the New Age. This is a very uplifting aspect, which significantly raises the energy of the chart.

Neptune (mysticism, illusion) sextiles Pluto (underworld, subconscious). Neptune can dissolve aspects of outer life like the drip of water on a rock. In this case, Neptune can break our habits and patterns of life to help bring pathways for new understandings and discoveries.

Chiron, The Wounded Healer

Sun (life), Moon (emotions), and Saturn (karma) square Chiron, which creates tension between our life, emotions, and past karma as we attempt to move into unconditional love and universal healing. Sometimes, simply knowing the feelings or sensations that block healing are a gift. Mercury (communications) trines Chiron, meaning that voicing the feelings in our heart can help to heal our old wounds and doubts.

Planet Retrograde

Time will slow substantially with many planets in retrograde. Mars (male, assertion, physical energy), Jupiter (expansion) Saturn (karma, limitation), Neptune (mysticism, illusion) and Pluto (subconscious, transmutation) are all in retrograde.

It’s an excellent time to keep a steady eye on our goals, dreams, and plans, but it’s not a time to move forward quickly and forcefully. With retrogrades, it’s helpful to stay steady, gentle, and patient. It’s a wonderful practice for the inner life!

NOTES:

  1. With the full moon chart, we’re integrating many parts of the self. For example, we may feel joyous and expansive and/or introverted and shy, depending on the reception of a particular planet’s energy. The challenge lies in determining how we feel within ourselves by handling the influences in a way that promotes inner growth.
  2. There’s a strong emphasis on emotion. The challenge lies in expressing our feelings from our heart with clarity and truth. Our awareness of feelings is part of awakening because our feelings become stronger as we move into the light.
  3. Jupiter (good fortune) bestows happy, light energy, which can help with moving through the challenges of the chart. Neptune (mysticism) helps in dissolving old patterns. (Let them go and find a new way!)
  4. The retrograde planets will slow our plans, but we can also use the energy to enjoy a balance between summer fun and our goals in life.

Working with Light

Light and love are always the answer. They hold the highest vibrations on the planet. If we call on the light, the universe answers. But it’s easier to access “light” by using specific techniques.

Light responds differently with specific situations and meditations. These brief exercises work well for a variety of a problems, including receiving more enlightenment and understanding. When we see and feel life differently, it often alters into a higher vibration—and brings more positive outcome.

Here are a few tips.

  1. Come to center and find inner self on a daily basis. Meditation helps in finding the true self. From this place, wisdom, self-love, and peace flow. The answer is in the center; it feels simple and true when you find it. (It’s easiest to call in the light by becoming still. It’s helpful to pull inward to feel the inner self. )
  2. Put your attention on happiness. Happiness—like all inner states—requires attention and contemplation. (It’s actually a habit.) Notice all of the things, which bring happiness in your life. Listen to your voice to see if it conveys happiness. Notice your feelings when you look at objects, read emails, or travel short distances. Make a conscious effort to expand and find happiness throughout the day.
  3. Peace acts like a river; it eases and soothes emotion. There are no thoughts when we align with peace, only stillness. Imagine experiencing peace before/after others attempt to pull us into drama. (As our energy level heightens, others try to pull you into their drama. By detaching from their drama and visualizing a happy outcome, we can return to place of peace.
  4. Know that life moves in a cyclical pattern, marked by highs and lows. The challenge lies in finding and observing the pattern, altering emotions, and making “center” or the true self more important than the feelings and situation.
  5. Conflicting thoughts comprise part of spiritual growth. It’s how we put ourselves together and resolve the many parts of the self. When the answer comes, it will be simple. It will resonate with the inner self. Until this time comes, notice the feelings. It’s okay to feel two, conflicting emotions and/or thoughts. Eventually, the thoughts do bring resolution and wholeness.
  6. Pull the mind away from upsetting thoughts and situations. Return to the heart. Practice meditation to return to center, then visualize a positive outcome in a place of stillness.
  7. Know the process is working, and the universe wants to help. While many of these tips and exercises are not logical, they follow spiritual law. Our visualizations thoughts, and emotions alter the course of life because they invoke—and the most  powerful part of our inner being.

Full Flower Moon

The Full Moon appeared on Tuesday, May 29. Its influence will continue for approximately 10 days. The Full Moon increases our potential for manifestation; it brings fruition and germination to earth.

This full moon is called the Flower Moon, appropriately bringing beautiful aspects such as a Grand Trine between Venus (love), Jupiter (good fortune) and Neptune (mysticism, illusion). The Grand Trine can accentuate creativity, harmonious emotions, and aid with manifestation. (In this sense, it expands the Full Moon’s quality of bringing thoughts and desires into form.) The chart has challenges, mainly based on thought, emotion, and action—the three aspects of life that impact physical reality.

Sun is in Gemini, the air sign symbolized by the twins, and Moon is in Sagittarius, heightening emotional longing for journeys, adventures, and philosophical truth. Sun conjuncts (close) Mercury in Taurus, sharpening our wits and focusing the mind. Sun trines Mars (energy, male, assertion), increasing our ability to take action when creating our life and/or changing our path.

Moon opposes Mercury (communication, thought) in Taurus, making a strange mix-up between emotions and thought. It exaggerates both emotion and thought. Negative thoughts may seem stronger than usual, and there’s a tendency to overreact as well. (It’s a short-lived aspect, which will fade away in a few days. While under the influence of the full moon, it’s best to avoid heated discussion.)

Moon and Sun square Neptune, heightening sensitivity, emotion, and adding confusion to the chart. Sun square Neptune, indicates a need to build self-confidence and strength by taking action to express feelings and correct misinterpretations from others. Moon square Neptune heightens old drama from childhood relationships with the mother. (Both aspects ask for expression of hidden emotion and thought to clear old patterns and create a better perception of the self.)

Moon trines (harmonious) North Node (spiritual quest) and Chiron (wounded healer). These aspects help in finding a harmonious attitude and the right feelings to follow our inner navigation and release wounds from the past, which slow the journey.

Mercury

Mercury (thought, communication) in Taurus grounds and slows our thoughts. Mercury trines Pluto (subconscious, transformation), giving the intellectual ability to perceive underlying mysteries through analytical and investigative skills. Pluto is the underworld and, sometimes, the underlying truth, and this aspect can aid in penetrating to the “truth” behind specific situations and behavior of others.

Venus

Venus (love, relationships) in Cancer is loving, warm, and nurturing. Venus trines Jupiter, bringing harmonious energies such as charisma, positive finances, and creativity. Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune form a Grand Water Trine. Grand Trines increase our ability to manifest. In this case, the focus is on love/relationships (Venus), Jupiter (increase, expansion) and Neptune (mystical, illusion). Venus (love) sits in Cancer, the mother; Jupiter (expansion) is placed in Scorpio (transformation), and Neptune is in Pisces (mystical love). By nurturing and loving ourselves (Venus), we transform our lives in a positive way (Jupiter) and overcome the karma of the past (Neptune), allowing us to move into mystical love.

Water signs in a Grand Trine can heighten the emotional state, linking us with our dreams—and propelling them into form through creativity, dreaming, and reflecting on the fabric of possibility in life. A trine is represented by a triangle, the symbol of bringing together opposites and transforming them into harmony with a third point of reference; it also increases our capacity for manifestation. (Think of the pyramids.)

Venus opposes Saturn (limitation, karma) and Pluto (subconscious, transformation.) Oppositions tend to feel difficult, but the Grand Trine provides energies to overcome these aspects. Venus opposite Saturn brings feelings of loneliness and victimhood to the surface. Venus in opposition to Pluto can cause control issues, regarding love, to surface; it can also give the power to express hidden feelings in a positive way. (The challenge is to employ honesty and vulnerability over manipulation and a desire to control others to feel safe and protected.)

Mars

Mars (male, assertion) is placed in Aquarius, a fixed air sign. Air signs are concerned with thought and communication so it’s not a perfect placement for a sign that loves action. In this placement, the challenge is overcoming Aquarian qualities such as a strong focus stubbornness, independence, and getting one’s way.

Tension is created with Mars’ square (tension) with Uranus (unexpected change, quantum field). It can ignite temper or cause sudden, unexpected change, particularly when aligned with irrational thought. (Often, national violence seems aligned with this placement. In other words, irrational thoughts are inappropriately interpreted through impulsive action.)

Saturn (limitation, the past, karma) trines Uranus (sudden change, awakening), bringing a harmonious rhythm and integration between the past and future.

Chiron

Mercury (thought) and Mars (action) sextile (harmonious) Chiron, the wounded healer, suggesting positive thoughts and actions can help in healing old wounds. Saturn (time, karma) squares (tension) Chiron, which indicates conflict between the beliefs behind wounds and the impetus to heal and move beyond them.

Notes:

  • It’s a lovely full moon forecast with many aspects to appreciate the beauty in life and to find a space “within” for powerful manifestation.
  • The Grand Trine helps with love, good fortune, resources, and connecting with the mystical world. The Grand Trine is in water, and it can aid in smoothing emotions and creating a harmonious bridge between ourselves and others.
  • Moon and Mercury are in opposition. It is a short-term aspect, but it’s important to know our emotions and thoughts are on an adrenalin ride whenever we feel upset, surprised, or defensive. (Wait 3 or 4 days before confronting issues. They may evaporate—or we’ll feel differently about the best form of communication.)
  • Mercury’s aspect with Pluto can help to find the “real” truth behind energetic situations, the flow of life, and philosophical questions. It sharpens the intellect.
  • A theme of the need to build self-confidence is found throughout the chart. Perhaps, it is about trusting the power and voice of the inner self. This state is called “knowing”, and it’s impossible to doubt when we experience it.
  • Venus’ oppositions with Saturn and Pluto can cause insecurity and the need to control. (We feel the need to control when we feel afraid and/or overwhelmed.) It’s important to remember the beauty of who we truly are, what we have accomplished, and how far we have come.

More About Manifestation

Manifestation is becoming increasingly important as a way of altering the flow of life.. As we become more intuitive, it can change small outcomes as well as the vibrations of others around us. On a higher level, it can connect us to our heart’s desires and act as an aid in our personal evolution–and perhaps the world.

Active manifestation involves alignment with higher energies and the inner self. Positive shifts in the environment and/or our personal world come from a change in consciousness, a state of heightened awareness. Initially, work may begin through awareness of discomfort and/or negative emotion, but the situation often changes by altering perception.
Here are a few tips:
1) It begins with awareness, the placement of consciousness, and a strong desire. A strong desire comes from the heart; it is beneficial and promotes positive change.
2) Meditation is one of the most effective tools with manifestation. It opens the heart and calls in higher consciousness. However, focusing a desire intently works, particularly when accompanied by positive emotion.  Your heart’s desire is created by you and the Universe. The Universe is aware of  your true heartfelt desire and will help if you ask.
3) You must create an energy mass that is equivalent to your desire. This statement can be simplified by saying that your heart’s desire has a certain amount of mass that is weighed in energy. When you meditate, change your thoughts, emotions and take an action toward its manifestation, you are accumulating energy, which is needed for anything to materialize in physical form.
4) Every physical object holds a specific vibration. You pull in the vibration of the object (even money) by visualizing and feeling its density, size, shape, color and the interaction between you and its physical form.  Imagine living in the image of the desired reality. Energy or attention creates “more” of the object of your focus. If you focus on lack of love, prosperity or joy in your life, then you naturally create more of an undesirable state. The same is true with positive reflections. When you speak about a happy/unhappy state of mind, you create a vibration through the voice — a sound or frequency that reinforces the appearance of a desirable or undesirable state.
5) It’s important to know you are worthy. You’re a beloved of the universe, who deserves a wonderful life. As you move into this knowledge and practice manifestation actively, you’ll become more intuitive and gain awareness of how to shift your consciousness to create more harmony for yourself and the world.

Rewriting Your Thoughts to Change Your Life

There’s a magical equation for thought. When we change our thoughts, we alter our energy field. Positive thoughts expand it; negative thoughts contract it. (Consider quantum physics experiments when photons followed the observer’s belief in outcome. They changed their path when another person–with a different belief–was added to the experiment.)

Changing our thoughts is part of how we reach a higher frequency–and how the world alters.Thoughts alter emotions–and the direction of our lives. When we’re feeling positive, life feels quite different. Sometimes, we soar.
1) We have about 50,000 thoughts per day, and most of our thoughts are repetitive. (We discover this when meditating.) Through gaining awareness of our thoughts, we can determine their nature. Repetitive themes have particular stimuli, phases of time, and a specific energy. They contribute to a lowered state of vibration and energy. A higher state of being is associated with positive thoughts.
2) For better results in life, think positive, happy thoughts. Thoughts vibrate out into the world. Think of thoughts as tiny messages that are received by individuals and the universe. People receive the information and react accordingly. The universe energizes whatever we think because it’s the object of our focus.

3) Everyone has negative feelings and thoughts, which become more obvious on the spiritual path. As the focus increases, negative thoughts become more noticeable. Try one of the following techniques to return to a more positive state of mind. Focus on the sensation of the hands and feet. Anchoring in physicality fades out negative thoughts.  Try to visualize the opposite of the initial thought. Negative thoughts often involve patterns, which keep us from achieving our desires and dreams. A positive visual pulls the energy away from the negative thought/pattern. (Take an action step whenever possible.)

4) Accept the situation, person, or energy involved in the negative thought. Think one good thought about the situation and energy. (At least, I am alive and well.) Think about the feeling of the resolution of the problem. How does it feel?

5) Notice the particular stimuli that produce negative thoughts. Feelings, places, and repetitive tasks and/or situations may invoke negative thoughts. If this is the case, try to change the focus of consciousness. Simply noticing the stimulus is part of becoming more aware of the pattern. (Accept the thought and quiet the mind.)

6) Think about a time when life was happy, and everything moved in a positive direction. Hold this feeling/visual and imagine that it’s happening NOW. (Positive thoughts pull in positive events, and they alter the biochemistry of the body.)

7) Thoughts often come from other people and/or mass consciousness. Ask if the thought comes from either of these sources. If so, ask the universe to break the connection and create alignment with the inner self. Repeat several times.

8)  Raise your vibration. Focus on the heart and imagine love flowing through it. Pull the problem back into the center of the body. Focus on feeling centered. We tend to project problems outwardly, which exaggerates them.

9) Pull the energy away from the situation and back into the self. (We tend to energize problems by thinking about them and sending energy to them.) If the mind sticks on a certain person, think about their good qualities. If the mind stays attuned to a negative situation, think about a positive outcome. When thoughts concern the self, change them to a positive reflection. (Ask if there is a lesson.)

10)  Send love (pink light) to negative thoughts. The lower part of the self, which generates negative thoughts, will receive it. Love cancels negativity and darkness. Believe in its power. Call on angels and guides. Ask for help in seeing life in a different way. Ask your angels to clear negative thoughts and receive positive input in their place.
