Several short-term and long-term aspects are found in the planetary line-up. The aspects will quicken and act as catalysts during the lunar and solar eclipses as well as next week’s equinox. Any event such as the full/new moon, eclipse, or equinox makes the weather more intense. We have only a few more weeks of these aspects, but they definitely exert a force
The Full Moon appears on March 14 at 2:56 am ET, and it’s a Blood Moon, which describes the colors (yellow, orange, and red) that occur when the moon intersects with the earth’s shadow during a lunar eclipse. Eclipses are powerful, and they serve as a time for reflection and self-contemplation. They can bring disruption into our lives, but meditation and contemplation can mitigate these energies.
On a cosmic level, it’s likely that the lunar eclipse and partial solar eclipse in late March offer a turning point for greater awakening. More turning points will follow, but this one is strong. It begins with the lunar eclipse and becomes stronger with the upcoming partial solar eclipse. (It’s time to move “inside” and activate the desires of the inner self.)
A Grand Trine, which is positive and harmonious, is found within the chart. Grand Trines help with co-creation and support as we work with the equation of finding the flow of the past self, the present, and the future. Moon (emotion) trines Uranus (change) in Taurus, and Moon trines Pluto (subconscious, transformation.) Uranus (change) trines Pluto. In short, the planets are helping with this transition into a higher reality.
Sun (life), Mars (overall energy), Saturn (past, karma), and Neptune (mysticism, illusion) are in Pisces, a water sign. Piscean traits are compassion, creativity, and empathy. Pisceans can lack boundaries and confuse illusion with intuition. It’s also the sign of the last Age, and it’s a good time to review old memories and release the past.
Moon (emotion) is in Virgo, an earth sign representing healing, hygiene, order, and hidden truths. Moon in Virgo asks for boundaries, attention to detail, and increased awareness of the physical world. Moon opposition Saturn (limitation) can give a brief feeling of sadness or loneliness. Moon trine Uranus (sudden change, quantum field) helps with clear expression of feelings, and it gives a desire to reduce restrictions in life. This aspect enhances creativity. Moon trine Pluto (subconscious, transformation) increases emotional sensitivity and deepens perception.
Mercury (communication, electronics) in Aries, a fire sign, moves into retrograde on March 15. Mercury retrograde is a time to rethink, pause and review, and make corrections. It’s necessary to rely on patience, reflection, and a willingness to rethink the course of action. (Mercury in Aries is hot and quick-paced.) Mercury conjunct Venus (beauty, relationships, love) encourages personal interaction and harmonious discussions. Mercury square Mars (energy, assertion) may bring confused thoughts and lack of good focus. It’s important to refrain from making quick conclusions and rapid decision-making.
Venus (love, relationships) in Aries is passionate and bold. Venus is currently retrograde. Venus is about love, but the meaning changes when she moves into retrograde. We tend to notice where there is not love in our lives – including self-love, relationships, and work. The placement encourages moving away from limiting aspects of relationships. Venus conjunct Neptune (illusion, mysticism) adds creativity, beauty, and sensitivity to life.
Mars (assertiveness, overall energy) is in Cancer, which rules the home. Mars in Cancer may experience resentment or other repressed emotions. It tends to amplify emotions associated with domestic and home life. Mars trine Saturn (limitation, karma) gives desire, ambition, and strength.
Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) in Gemini, an air sign, expands our interest in electronics, AI, and global communications. Jupiter square Saturn (limitation, karma) encourages overcoming limitations and recreating life in alignment with the inner self.
Saturn (limitation karma) in Pisces refers to clearing karma from the last Age, healing injustices, and releasing limited judgements and beliefs. Saturn (karma) sextile Uranus (sudden change, quantum field) opens the mind to new technology and innovative methodology. Saturn conjunct Neptune (illusion, mysticism) asks for a balance between structure/boundaries (Saturn) and imagination and mysticism (Neptune).
Uranus (sudden change, quantum field) in Taurus concerns the earth, conservation or the lack of it, and earth changes. Uranus sextile Neptune (mysticism, illusion) strengthens the need for awakening. Uranus trine Pluto (underworld, transformation) helps in rewriting systems and beliefs.
Pluto (underworld, transformation) in Aquarius speaks of space, electronics, and a different culture. Pluto was in Aquarius during the French and American revolution.
