At night, the moon appears as a luminescent sphere in the sky, a beacon in the night sky. It’s a powerful supermoon, the fourth and the last of the year. It’s the Beaver Moon, a time when beavers, squirrels, and other creatures build their nests for winter.
The supermoon brings waves of feminine energy with Moon in Taurus and Sun in Scorpio. Earth (Taurus) and water (Scorpio) together nurture the body, quiet the mind, and give connection with nature. Asking for a slower pace, the Sun and Moon give time for pleasurable, peaceful energy to reconnect with the self.
It’s a way of turning darkness (karma) into light (the soul). There is an emphasis on flowing emotion, which can give brilliant thoughts and practical insights. (If we stay calm, we may literally “feel” our way into a greater light.) We may also move into the mystical side of life through dreams and subtle realizations.
Sun (life) in Scorpio, ruling passion, intuition, and transformation, trines Mars (action), which gives strength, courage, and confidence. Sun trine Neptune (illusion, mysticism) opens the soul to greater realizations, artistic expression, and increased intuition.
Uranus (sudden change, quantum field) has a strong role in the chart as Sun opposes Uranus, and the Moon conjuncts it. Uranus can indicate sudden change, and it also signifies contact with the “Field”, the unlimited, infinite aspect of spirituality. It can inspire, act erratically, and change everything (think miracles or a redo of life) in a few moments. It can also give gestalt insights as well as connection to the angels and our spiritual guides.
Moon trine Pluto (underworld, transformation) intensifies the experience of life, heightening emotions and sensitivity. It helps with clearing old emotions, psychological wounds, and finding new methods of flowing through life.
Mercury (mind, communication) in Sagittarius opens the mind to philosophical ideas and expansion. Mercury opposes Jupiter (good fortune), bringing optimism, generosity, and large plans. With this aspect, it’s important to focus wisely and practically on the future. Mercury squares Saturn (limitation, karma) and asks for careful planning with a focus on the heart’s desires.
Venus (relationships) in Capricorn is a bit cold and practical–yet other energies in the chart balance it well. Venus square Neptune (illusion, mysticism) increases sensitivity and artistic ability; it can also cause impulsive reactions.
Mars (action, male) in Leo, a fire sign, gives confidence, energy, and strong emotions. It can feel fiery—and can act in a positive or negative sense. Mars trines Neptune (illusion, mysticism) brings neutrality, compassion, and sensuality. Mars opposition Pluto (subconscious, transformation) is a volatile placement, which can cause extreme reactions or strengthen the will with positive endeavors.
Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) in Gemini, an air sign, rules electronics, communication, and the mind. Jupiter squares Saturn (limitation, karma), and the aspect involves the combination of the old world and the transmissions of the new Aquarian Age. Jupiter squares Neptune (illusion, mysticism), and this is sometimes viewed as an aspect that will dispense with many illusions and deceptions in the world structures.
Saturn (limitation, karma) in Pisces moves direct on November 15. Saturn in direct position helps with moving forward with plans and experiencing dedication to our work and purpose.
Uranus (sudden change, quantum field) in Taurus rules the earth, changes in the earth, and our relationship with the earth. Uranus sextiles Neptune (illusion, mysticism) encourages spiritual awakening and the quest for philosophical answers. Uranus trine Pluto gives big shifts in consciousness, which dependent on the placement of the personal mind and consciousness.
Neptune (illusion, mysticism) in Pisces is powerful in this chart. It opens the mind and soul to new perceptions and spiritual truth. Neptune sextiles Pluto (subconscious, transformation), encouraging spiritual growth and realization.
Pluto (subconscious, transformation) enters Aquarius on November 19, 2024, and it remains there until March 8, 2043. Many astrologers see it as a time of growth and evolution.
