For clarity, it’s important to remember the world in a state of flux. There’s a great deal of chaos, change, and odd shifts with global structures. The forecast may sound a bit utopian, but I focused on details, which apply in raising consciousness, and, hopefully lift it to a higher point.
While the trees show their first bright leaves, the sky darkens at the time of the New Moon. Appearing on March 2nd, it’s a mystical moon with many planets placed in water, which represents emotion, and earth symbolizing grounding and connection with nature. It’s a chart that gives a promise of change—upcoming happiness accomplished through faith and listening to the heart.
Faith denotes a surrender to a greater universal force, creating change through the gift of grace–the place where miracles occur. Sun (life) and Moon (emotion) are on Pisces 13. According to Lynda Hill’s Sabian Symbols, the degree is represented by “A Sword Used in Many Battles Is Now in a Museum”. It marks a time of laying down swords and a desire for peace. (Perhaps in the future, there is a turning point when we can “send” harmony so effectively that it creates a global shift.)
Sun, Moon, Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) and Neptune (mysticism, idealism) are in Pisces, the sign representing fishes swimming in opposite directions. Emotion is heightened by Pisces, indicating a time for forgiveness, surrender, and compassion. The placement heightens intuition, dreams, and helps in releasing the illusion of separation by moving into unity.
Sun and Moon conjunct Jupiter (expansion), increasing optimism and the desire for growth. Sun and Moon sextile Uranus (sudden change, quantum field) enhances intuition and unique personal qualities; it leads to a desire for change—the experience of life from various perceptions.
Mercury (mind, communications) in Aquarius, the humanitarian air sign, sharpens focus and thought. Placed on Aquarius 20, the symbol is “A Large White Dove, Bearing A Message”. In alchemy, the mind sends messages through the air, and the universe clearly asks for a mental focus on peace.
Mercury conjuncts Saturn (time, karma) in Aquarius, initiating change in cycles and relationships. Aspects with Saturn can feel heavy or melancholy, emphasizing the importance of concentrating on optimistic thoughts and outcomes. Mercury square Uranus (sudden change, quantum field), may bring a sense of nervous tension, it can also gift mental breakthroughs and gestalt realizations.
Venus (feminine, beauty, love) conjuncts Mars (masculine, assertion) in Capricorn, an earth sign, which balances yin/yang, encourages greater harmony in relationships, and heightens creativity. Venus and Mars sextile Neptune (illusion, mysticism) encourages moving deeply into our spiritual nature by finding solutions through dreams, feelings, and intuition. Venus conjunct Pluto (subconscious, transformation) intensifies the desire for a relationship, passion, and possibly compulsive behavior.
Mars conjunct Pluto (subconscious, transformation) heightens desire for power, creates dramatic events, including aggression. (It may indicate the current conflict in the Ukraine.) Pluto’s influence can also activate subconscious thought. Yet, the lesson is about asking for the highest good for all and staying in the spiritual flow.
Jupiter (expansion) is exalted in Pisces, benefitting spiritual growth and the inner journey. It is also optimistic and positive. Jupiter sextile Neptune (mysticism, illusion), bringing positive energy between religion and philosophy, ruled by Jupiter, and experiences of the divinity. It widens our ability to translate personal beliefs and communication from the unseen world into new spiritual concepts.
Saturn (limitation, karma) in Aquarius and Uranus (sudden change, quantum field) in Taurus are square throughout most of the year, presenting a paradigm of old-world values versus New Age concepts. The square also involves electronics and their use in the future.
Neptune (mysticism, illusion) sextile Pluto (underworld, transformation) increases intuitive ability, psychic abilities, and desire for the spiritual path.
Venus (feminine, love), Mars (masculine, assertion) and Pluto (underworld, transformation) trine the North Node in Taurus. A trine is a magical aspect with the potential for positive outcome. The North Node represents the spiritual direction of the collective consciousness. It may point out the need for higher consciousness and metaphysical concepts on the physical level—and our ability to create aligned, benevolent outcomes through meditation and intention.
Tips
- While the chart is expansive and spiritual from many angles, we continue to face the challenges of the old world, based on greed, aggression, and exploitation. However, the chart suggests new methods of overcoming past challenges through contemplation of the spiritual journey with its accompanying practices.
- Positive, humanitarian energy is found in the New Moon chart. It’s an excellent time for committing to spiritual practices and the long journey of finding the true self.
- Conjunction of Sun/Moon/Jupiter can bring good fortune and help with expansion in life.
- Mercury (mind) asks us to focus on concepts such as peace, unconditional love, and harmony—perhaps to broadcast them afar.
- Venus (feminine, love, relationships) and Mars (masculine, assertion) conjunct Pluto, which can create stronger bonds in relationships, obsessiveness, or learning to act in a new way, which involves staying in the spiritual flow.
- For awakened people, an opportunity exists to come together in higher consciousness and make changes through intent and spiritual work.
