Art of Conscious Creation

There is a real art to conscious creation. It is taught in alchemy and many branches of metaphysics. The methodology is real, but it must be learned and applied. I am presenting these concepts for those who understand that creating change in the world is only accomplished through changing one’s perceptions, thoughts, emotions and sensations. This article presents a basic outline of simple techniques that are easily applied through practice and self-observation.

Meditation, which is the reception of higher spiritual energy, can also lend insight into the truth of our inner selves, the path of inner knowing or wisdom. This place of inner knowing deepens our faith and belief in a positive outcome. Through sensing this beautiful place “within”, the possibility of a beautiful “real world” can become a viable reality. This is a reality that we not only experience, but can also share to enliven and enrich others’ experiences of the world.

If we focus on lack of love, prosperity or joy in our lives, then we naturally create more of an undesirable state. When we speak about our negative feelings that surround an unhappy state of mind, we create a vibration with our voice, which is sound or frequency that reinforces the appearance of the undesirable state.

The attraction factor of energetic outcome could be called concentration or intent. The creation of positive or negative outcome is achieved through repetition of the focus of the mind, particularly through the experience of strong emotions or sensations. Any intense thought pattern will eventually evoke an emotional state. This will create either physical tension or relaxation in the body. The emotional and physical responses will determine the creation of a positive or negative outcome.

Our proclivity is to create the future through the projection of memories, thoughts and feelings into our “perception of the future”. We generally project our consciousness without awareness of what or how we create. A classic example of unconscious creation can be found by reviewing at any recurrent problem in our lives. This tendency is easily visible if we notice how many times each day that we experience negative thoughts or feelings about the problem. How many times have we felt guilt over a small social blunder? We keep the negative energy around us by focusing on it.

Emotions are feelings, and thoughts, pictures; together they create holograms or powerful mental/emotional images. It is impossible to perform any action without a hologram, and we “program” ourselves with our holograms, so that they become almost automatic, like tying our shoes. In other words, our reality is perpetuated by holograms, which are often subconscious.

Without awareness, we assemble a life based on memories. We expect that our lives will be the same tomorrow — but perhaps we will be older! We actually create our lives on this basis. We expect to wake in the same bed, the same house, the same car, and have the same friends. Our expectations are the form or structure that we use to create the present.

In creating our future, we must experience the exact opposite of an undesirable state — through “creating” positive thoughts and feelings. By calming the emotions or projecting a positive outcome into the future, it is possible to change the outcome of our lives. People usually experience difficulty with creative consciousness because they only think “inside of the box”. Thinking “inside of the box” tends to be linear — assuming that same problem can always be solved in the same manner.

As human beings, we are conditioned by our society to focus our minds negatively. We believe that money is limited; love diminishes over time; we will age a certain amount at a certain age; the destruction of the earth is imminent; and happiness may only be experienced briefly. Why focus on these thoughts when it is possible to entertain a joyous, beautiful reality?

When we choose to focus on positive holograms, reality is naturally altered in a lovely way. An act of will is necessary to create the possibility of this beautiful, joyous reality by retraining the focus of the mind and emotions. It can take time to reprogram holograms, but we can know that our new images are working through the occurrence of positive synchronicity and uplifted emotions. Each moment we have the opportunity to choose what we think is “real”: a wonderful reality or a depressing one. The choice of focus in each moment eventually determines the reality of our experience.

“Thinking out of the box” means feeling and creating pictures or holograms of a desired state that has never or rarely been experienced in our lives. The desired state is created by focusing on positive memories, remembering the positive feelings and thoughts in the present; and, finally, projecting this desired state into the future. (Consciousness and thought have an actual energetic output. Every time we focus on an idea that it is transmitted to others. We have the potential power to create a positive visualization and to share it by simply meditating on it.)

Keep in mind that much of our world, according to esoteric texts, is an illusion or reflection of our thoughts, actions and words. The “real” part of our world is a reflection of the higher parts of our nature. Our perception of the positive aspects of the world relies on our own attunement to our higher nature or true self…

Daily meditation practice is essential in creating active change. A practice should consist of five or ten minutes of focused imagery. In this meditative state, we should see our desired hologram, while experiencing it in the NOW. It is best to visualize the final result, as though we are experiencing the desired reality in the moment.

The manifestation process is quickened by writing down precisely what we want (this forms a mental picture) on an index card. Positive emotional experiences should be written on the other side of the card. Imagine that the two sides of the card come together as one manifestation. Look at the card each night before sleep. Imagine that this happy state is fully realized.

By following these steps, we can create our desired life and actually materialize it by changing our thoughts, feelings and actions. There are many classes, books and practices about manifestation. One of the secrets is listening to what the Universe wants for you, by listening to your heart. This feeling of quiet and peace found within will attune you to the right intentions, thoughts, feelings and actions.

There is always a pivotal point in manifestation — at this point, we begin to ask. “What does the Universe want me to do and what can I do for others?” We begin to look at our lives to see what we can change about our selves, instead of changing others; to see our selves as creators, rather than victims. Our hearts speak to us, opening to the creative message of the Divine.

Deepening Meditation for Manifestation

Technique for Practice

Choose a quiet place for meditation. Try to meditate during the first hour after awakening. Begin with a color — blue or pink seem to be the easiest in the beginning. Focus on the color until you feel, see and have a sense of the color.

Focus on positive feelings….the feeling of accomplishing a goal, the feelings that were present on the best days of your life, or the physical sensations of a beautiful day. Now imagine having achieved your heart’s desire. See it in its final state of completion.

Feel the joy and happiness that you would experience upon completion of the desire. See your self smiling and laughing in the picture. Now let the picture fade away, replacing the image with white light that shines on you and through your body and field.

End the meditation with a reminder that each time you focus that you are moving a step closer to your heart’s desire. YOU ARE DESERVING AND WORTHY OF A WONDERFUL LIFE!

Blue Super Moon!

Blue Moon, Blood Moon, Super Moon, and Eclipse appears on Wednesday, January 31, and it has many names and energies. The lunar eclipse will take place at 9:07 am, and we’ll feel the energy for several weeks. (A lunar eclipse is essentially a reset, a motion into darkness, followed by light.(The eclipse may also stir up patterns and/or longings from last summer’s solar eclipse.) All full moons carry the energetic blueprint of fruition, germination, and realization of dreams. A Blue Moon is simply 2 full moons in one month, and a super moon is closer to the earth than usual. At any rate, it’s all powerful!

There is definitely a magical, beneficial energy associated with the moon. Think of extra light permeating through the darkness, bringing additional illumination. That’s part of what this moon can do, and it’s definitely important to believe in our power to make dreams come true.

The Blue Moon Chart presents both challenges and benevolent energy. Moon (inner self, emotions) trines Mars (male, assertion), which harmonizes feelings and actions. Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) trines Neptune (mysticism, illusion), energizing our hopes and dreams in a positive sense. Saturn (karma) and Uranus (new age) are trine, increasing our ability to combine the old and new (worlds).

The Blue Moon conveys an equation of rewriting the past, letting go of unwanted aspects of life, and putting the two together in a new form. (Of course, the new form is “life”.) The major aspects of the chart fall in fixed signs, indicating the aspects of the self that are strongly anchored in belief, habit, and feeling. (In general, fixed signs have difficulty altering their point of view.)

Here are the major points of interest:

  1. Much of the chart revolves around fixed signs of Aquarius, Leo, and Scorpio. Sun (outer self), Moon (inner self, emotions), Venus (love, material goods), and Jupiter (good fortune). (Fixed signs tend not to express flexibility or openness to change. They do convey both loyalty and patience.) However, this chart is about finding flexibility and openness with parts of the self, others, and the world.
  2. Sun (outer life) and Venus (love, material goods) in Aquarius are conjunct, heightening our interest in the New Age, which opens the mind and spirit to both new techniques and possibilities. However, Moon (emotions) is placed in the fire sign of Leo.
  3. Moon (emotion) opposes (is opposite) Venus (feminine, love). Our emotions will run “hot”, but Venus in Aquarius is detached. The issue brings up the importance of feeling emotion, but expressing them in a way that brings communion and connection (Venus in Aquarius). It’s quite an equation.
  4. Moon trines (harmonious) Mars (action, male) in Sagittarius, a fire sign. Previously, Mars in Scorpio felt emotional and steamy, but Mars in Sagittarius moves life along at a faster pace. The trine will help in taking action to create and realize goals.
  5. Sun, Moon, and Venus square Jupiter in Scorpio. Jupiter (expansion) in Scorpio is all about passion and achieving the heart’s desires. Squares can cause tension or feelings of frustration. In this case, the assignment is to discover how we block our desires through how we live our life (Sun), the expression of our emotions (Moon), and how we love and/or define love (Venus).
  6. Mercury (communications) squares Uranus (higher mind, quantum field), so our intuition will not be completely clear. Likely, we’ll receive hints about changing lives or strong feelings about the future. But we won’t get a clear read.
  7.  Obviously, it’s not a crystal clear chart. Many aspects hint at how to merge parts of the outer self for greater connection and unity. But there’s also a mystery, a feeling of where to go–without clear directions. In spiritual work, this is considered “good” because it causes us to look within for answers that are not evident in the outer world.

Simple Tips for Changing Your Life

Begin with a strong feeling of fortitude. You can do this. Now, create an image of living in the desired reality. Do something in the reality. Listen to song, dance around the room, enjoy your new “person”, plan a trip, or count your money. Smile and focus on a joyous feeling after completing the meditation. Everything is working for you.

Meditate for a few minutes every day. Connect with the universe and connect with your heart. Make sure your vision is leading you in the right direction. If so, take connection deeper.

Take one small action every day—preferably around 5-10 minutes for the first week. You can add time during the following week. Presumably, you’re working in a specific direction, so choose a task that will lead you to change. (Maybe, it’s staying calmer when your work needs a lot of focus or energy. It could revolve around exercise and diet. In this case, add a healthy meal or snack and add 10 minutes of exercise.) Compliment yourself for making the effort. (You rock, right?)

Patterns of old behavior and avoidance will always surface, particularly when you’re changing your life through spiritual work. It’s how you rewrite the energy of the ego that loves the old patterns and comfort zone. To change your feelings, you must rewrite your thoughts and emotions. (Thoughts and feelings can come from other people, past lives, or childhood. Often, they are not real. Observe, wait, and consider rewriting your feelings. How would you feel if you didn’t react or changed your behavior? Often, the answer is “free”.)

It’s very helpful to remember the most important reason for the work lies in seeking awakening—the lovely feeling of connection with the universe, the rush of intuition, and the alignment of the soul with the physical world. Yes, you can create a whole, new reality, but you also create a better connection with who you truly are—the most beautiful and light qualities of yourself.

New Moon Forecast: Transformation

The New Moon appears on Saturday, November 18, and we’ll feel its effect for the next 10-14 days. The New Moon creates a void, a useful time for releasing, resting, and revitalizing our plans. The focus of the New Moon chart is transformation, healing, and opening to higher forms of love. Many healing aspects are mixed amidst the challenges.

The Sun (outer self, life) and Moon (inner life, emotions) are poised together in Scorpio on the same degree—with Venus (love, material goods, feminine) and Jupiter (good fortune) also placed in Scorpio. Birth, death, sex, and transformation—along with intense, psychic energy—are represented by this sign.

Essentially, Scorpio symbolizes the dark void, which we travel through when creating change. (The feeling of the void is increased by the New Moon.) No one likes the void because we don’t know the outcome. But light always guides us to a higher, better place–if we persevere.

Venus (love, feminine) and Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) are conjunct (close) in this chart. When love and expansion come together, it’s helpful and tends to bring beauty, hope, and opportunity into our lives. Venus and Jupiter trine (harmonious) Neptune (illusion, mysticism), which can lead us into a greater “feeling” of love. (Neptune rules water or emotion, and this aspect is harmonious. The highest expression of emotion is universal love.)

Mercury sits in Sagittarius, a fire sign, encouraging optimism, rapid thought, and interest in spirituality. Mercury conjuncts Saturn (time, karma), aiding with devotion and self-discipline. Mercury trines Uranus (awakening), which expands our ability to transcend the lower mind and to receive information from the higher, universal mind. The planet also squares (tension) Neptune, and this can cause confusion when looking at life (personal and global). Mercury square Neptune makes it difficult to separate truth and illusion. (Think of fake news, etc.)

Mars remains in Libra, which is not a wonderful placement. Mars rules action, warriors, and male energy, but Libra likes to deliberate and slowly weigh the matters of life. Currently, Mars opposes (2 opposite energies) Uranus (awakening, sudden change), and it can cause a feeling of pressure.

Everyone experiences anger about the state of world and/or their personal life. It happens, and we’re in the process of clearing it. Mars opposite Uranus can churn up anger, but it’s important to express through higher channels such as boundaries, acknowledging other people’s feelings, and speaking from the heart. (We could realize much misunderstanding occurs in relationships because of soul contracts.)

Mars squares (tension) Pluto, and it’s the same lesson on another level. Pluto (transformation, subconscious) has a way of releasing illusions about life and teaching us about how the universe would like us to align with Divine Will. (We can release anger by sending it up to the light, move into action on a new project, or transform it by changing our selves.)

Saturn (time, karma) and Uranus (awakening, sudden change) remain trine, helping us to integrate the old world and the new one. It simply makes acceptance of the changes in the world a bit easier—along with giving innovative ideas that can blend with structures from the past.

Sun and Moon (life and inner self) trine (harmonious) Chiron, the wounded healer. This aspect can align us with inner healing in a gentle way. Mercury (communication) and Saturn (time, karma) square Chiron, so it may take thought and time to incorporate the information received during the New Moon period.

Notes:

  1. The opportunity for transformation and healing comes with this chart. It’s important to decide where we want healing and change. Make decisions, plans, and listen by listening to your inner self.
  2. Neptune (illusion, mysticism) can awaken the dreams of our soul, particularly through day dreaming and meditation, It can reawaken our inner longings. Venus (love) and Jupiter (expansion) trine Neptune, which can align us with personal and universal love.
  3. In this chart, Mercury (mind, communications) is most useful on an intuitive level. Sometimes, the best answers come through meditation.
  4. Aspects between Mars, Uranus, and Pluto ask for release of frustration and anger to a higher source, the Universe. True transformation comes from exploring our hidden thoughts, emotions, and beliefs–and shining light on them.
  5. Sun and Moon trine Chiron. We will likely receive glimpses and hints of self-healing, which always involve self-love.

Full Moon Forecast

Full moons bring intensity, passion, and fruition to dreams. Everything heightens before waning and moving into a new cycle. The full moon appears on October 5,  featuring Sun (life) and Mercury (thought, communication) in Libra, an air sign ruled by Venus.  Libra rules beauty, balance, relationships, judgement, and the mind. Think of butterflies, dragonflies, and soft clouds—or the stillness of the mind that comes with inner presence. Think of a gentle breeze moving through bright leaves and the clear, peaceful feeling of an autumn afternoon.

Libra also rules the type of higher love that comes from the enlightened mind and an open heart. When Sun (life) and Mercury (thought) are conjunct (close), it heightens our ability to still the mind and receive higher communications and impulses. It also increases our ability to perceive beauty, harmony, and balance. (It’s important to align our consciousness with these energies as we move through the week.)

Moon in Aries stirs the pot, dredging up passion, impulses, and the desire for a new quest. The moon opposes the energies of the Sun and Mercury, so the best use of these energies is feeling passionate about the spaciousness of the mind when it is connected to the Divine.

The biggest challenge in the chart lies with the T-square with Sun (life), Moon (emotions), Mercury (thought), and Pluto. It pertains to how we experience and react to our own darkness and the underworld. Pluto reveals the truth about life, and it’s often not pretty. But part of seeing the truth and light involves recognizing the aspects of life (and the planet) that don’t work.

Pluto direct can feel like the river Styx. Fortunately, there is light at the end of the long river. When we see the truth and act properly on it, we become powerful. This is Pluto’s lesson.

A T-square can cause tension and irritability. In this case, Sun (life), Moon (emotions), and Mercury (thought) square Pluto, creating tension between our desire to create harmony and the aspects of life that appear before us. (Obviously, it happened this week.) Moon square Pluto (subconscious, transformation) arouses rapid, actions and emotions, which can occur with little thought. (Venus and Mars in  trine Pluto, which may help us in finding practical methods of transmuting energies through love and light.)

The challenge involves our encounter with aspects of the personal subconscious and global consciousness. The challenge is to remain aligned with a clear mind while focusing on a positive world view. (Of course, we will feel discordant emotions, but we can try to rise above them.)  It’s important to focus on the beautiful feelings and vision bestowed by Sun and Mercury in Libra. We have to quiet the mind and return to a higher vision, which is a form of cosmic awakening.

Additional Influential Aspects

Venus (feminine, beauty, physical possessions) and Mars (male, action) are placed in Virgo, the sign of order, healing, and physical work. In conjunct (close) position, there is a pleasant coherence between the male/female aspects of the self. This includes work/rest and active/passive phases of life, which can create a lovely balance.

Work and Spirituality

Venus (feminine, beauty) and Mars (assertion, male) square Saturn in Sagittarius (karma, time, devotion and spirituality.) The square creates tension between our desire to work and our devotion to spiritual work. It’s helpful to take breaks for peaceful meditation between efforts with focused work. (It’s important not to compartmentalize, but to find balance while holding the open state of mind conferred by Sun in beautiful Libra.)

Balance and Change

Jupiter (good fortune, expansion) in Libra opposes Uranus in Aries (sudden change, awakening). Our desire for harmony and clarity (Jupiter) conflicts with Uranus’ energies. Uranus elicits strong reactions, moving energy quickly from high to low (like a roller coaster), brings change, and causes odd events.

With oppositions, we tend to feel both energies in separate intervals. We may want balance, contentment and harmony, which is followed by a desire for sudden change. These energies can feel disruptive, but it is possible to alter the placement of our consciousness into a peaceful place by an act of will. Jupiter also trines (harmonious) Saturn (karma, time), which is helpful in creating a positive blend of the old and new.

Dreams and Illusion

Venus (feminine, beauty) and Mars (male, action) oppose Neptune, the bringer of dreams, illusion, and mysticism. Venus and Mars in Virgo ask us to focus on the tasks at hand and fulfill practical matters. Neptune (mysticism, illusion) in Pisces encourages dreams and a mystical state of being. While traveling between these two planetary energies, it’s possible to lose sight of larger dreams and aspirations when focused on practicality and/or confuse reality and illusion. Sun, Moon, and Mercury are sextile Neptune, which brings a more positive energy to the mix; their position can help in finding clarity with this task.

Sabian Symbols, based on Lynda Hill’s Work

Sun sits on Libra 13, “Children Blowing Soap Bubbles”. The symbol illustrates the beauty of air, the possibility of floating through life by becoming present and aware in the moment. Libra is an air sign, and it rules thoughts. When the mind is clear, “air” supports us with a lovely motion, carrying our thoughts to the heavens to take on shape and form.

Moon is placed on Aries 13, “A Bomb Which Failed to Explode Is Now Safely Hidden from Discovery.” This symbol has appeared often in the past few months. (It’s interesting to note how a WWII bomb was discovered and defused in Germany during this period.) It could refer to Pluto’s current (direct) position and the need to handle personal issues, which are potentially explosive. The symbol can refer to global issues as well. For the moment, we have time to review, change the past, and create a safer future (without potential harm).

Mercury is on Libra 11, “A Professor Peering over His Glasses at His Students.” Again, it’s a repetitive symbol. The best teachers share information on an intuitive, intellectual, and emotional level. Glasses can refer to not seeing well or seeing details more sharply.

We learn from the nature and the response of the physical world. Clear perception is necessary to read the signs. The symbol also refers to the need for teachers to study and grow on an intellectual and metaphysical level while teaching others.

Venus and Mars on Virgo 20, “A Caravan of Cars Headed for the Promised Lands”. Mars and Venus refer to male and female energy, and they give harmony when placed on the same degree in the same sign. The symbol is apropos for this time of higher vibration and the awakened movement, particularly as we move through life in our cars.

The symbol hints at a new and better way of living and new methods of experiencing life. Likely, it is one of higher consciousness. They work best!

Jupiter sits on Libra 30, “Three Mounds of Knowledge on a Philosopher’s Head. This is the last degree of Jupiter and marks the end of learning lessons from Libra. The symbol refers to phrenology, the study of the bumps and shapes of the head. It also refers to the interpretation of signs. We know the look of inner beauty when reflected in the face and body. We know the feeling of the flow and how life changes when we step into it. When the wind blows from a different direction, it tells about the weather.

If we pay attention to small signs and physical indications of the spiritual presence in the physical, we can learn about our responses to the inner world. By recognizing and acting on inner impulses, we gain greater access to the spiritual world.

Message from the Wolves

In this brief message, the wolves speak of the new world. I can only say that I learned the art of intuitive communication from them by following similar tips and words. Their words were true, and they never led me astray.

Our name comes from the root word, Lux—or Light. We are spreading throughout the world. We had no desire to become extinct or flourish; it is simply the state of the universe. As speakers of light and bringers of dreams, we have much to say.

The new world is here already, woven between layers of the old world and the substance you refer to as reality. It is like 3 landscapes interlaced. It comes in swirls like morning fog or gentle rain, which disappears in a few minutes. By afternoon, you barely recall the fog or rain.

The realities mingle and overlap like threads in a tapestry. You travel between the ordinary and the new world where life follows the flow of your thoughts. It may occur for a few seconds, minutes, or hours, but there is a subtle difference in feeling—a depth of perception.

You walk between worlds as you travel through your day. In moments of awareness, you perceive the motion into the new world where intuition/thoughts/emotions grow stronger, and the world briefly grows more beautiful and subtle—responding to your wishes and energy.

You will know when you are there for life will look slightly different. Maybe, you will perceive the big changes in the world. Perhaps, you will simply perceive beauty and sensation on an intense level.

There is no real time in this dimension/space. Everything responds to thoughts and emotions when creatures and humans open to this space. Time alters and lengthens, the hours of the day change, and the sun and moon move on a new course.

This reality is not available to everyone—only those who listen and act on the heart. It is not enough to see light or study metaphysics or act intuitively; the key to the next world is something completely different. It is for those who are ready to leave behind the heaviness of this world and wander into possibility.

A great dream, an adventure, is awaiting for you. The dream is new; it is lovely. Everything changes including the geography of the earth, the motion of the continents, and the flow of your mind. Who will go there? Those who truly know light and the rhythm of their soul. It is not available otherwise. It is only through the rhythm of joy and loneliness that you can possibly hear your soul.

We share our thoughts because we want to help:

  • You will have more energy if you draw it from the earth and stars. Ask the earth to nourish your body. Sit with the grass and trees. Notice the shapes. (All of the shapes of nature sustain you.) See yourself as sustained and nourished by nature each day.
  • Imagine that much of history and science is not true. At a higher frequency, the laws change.
  • Learn to pull back your energy from the world. (When you think a strong thought, you immediately feel everyone else who shares the thought. This explains much of world emotion.) Release negative, needy people. They are not needed in your life.
  • Use your power as a creator. Notice the good. Rewrite the negative into a positive form.
  • Focus on your dream of life with all of your heart. Imagine life as lighter, happier, and more fun. (We dream often, and we are dreaming you into our world.)
  • Notice when life feels lighter, brighter, or different. During these times, you touch the new reality. It is very useful to send light, see life differently, or observe beauty.
  • Find the position of the sun and moon. Watch their motion. Observe the changes in light and darkness in the physical world.
  • You learn to transform, create, and manifest by desiring this state more than anything. It is the natural order of creating change through the lens of the soul and the voice of the heart. It is why you are here. It is as simple as knowing that you have the power and deciding to use it.
  • You were born as creators, to create anything that brings balance, harmony, and joy. Use your gifts.

Half-moon Forecast: Challenges and Insights

The half-moon appears on Friday, June 30, and it marks the turning point in the moon’s cycle. It’s the time between new beginnings and the fruition of dreams when heart-felt visualization can shape life into a new form.

The Sun sits in Cancer, a water sign ruling emotions, the Mother, the sea, and the moon. The sign of Cancer prefers soft emotions and home like the gentle motion of a calm sea, but Sun in Cancer forms an opposition to Pluto, the sign of the underworld, power, and transformation.

The placement elicits a combination of agitation and achievement (Pluto) and pleasant days spent in relaxation and peace. Oppositions cause an interplay between two, different states of being, and we’ll experience both states over the next two weeks. (Astrology tends to provide a balance, and the Sun also trines Neptune (mysticism, illusion). It’s a gift that brings beautiful dreams and spiritual insights to counter the Plutonian aspect.)

Moon in Libra brings a desire for balance and harmony. It trines (harmonious) Venus (love, material possessions), which heightens our impressions of beauty, love, and nature. The moon also conjuncts Jupiter (expansion, beneficial energy), indicating expansion and good fortune can come from pursuing interests in this area of life.

Mercury (communication) is placed in Cancer. When placed in water, our communications—including internet, telephone, and electronics—may respond in accordance with our emotional states. It’s important to see effective communication before pushing the send button or making an important phone call. (We may also feel more emotional than usual, particularly when responding to others.)

Venus sits in Taurus, an earth sign that prefers beauty and the natural world. Venus trines (harmonious) Pluto, intensifying our emotions, particularly in the area of love and relationships. It also bestows the marvelous quality of increased perception in the area of relationships—and insight into establishing their worth.

Mars (assertion, action) is placed in Cancer, which can cause difficulty with assertiveness and action. It amplifies strong emotion that can feel overwhelming and slows  movement toward goals and personal realization. (Positive visualization can help.)

Jupiter (good fortune) in Libra is squared (tension) by Sun, Mercury, and Mars (life, communication, and action) in Cancer. The aspects indicate the importance of moving through emotion with a clear, focused mind and consistent action to reach expansion of dreams and goals.

With the outer planets, Saturn (karma) is relatively quiet, and it forms a trine with Uranus, giving the ability to translate the past into a new form.  Sun, Mercury, and Mars trine Neptune (illusion, dreams), and this expands our imagination’s ability to dream of beautiful aspects of life.

Pluto (underworld, transformation) sits in opposition to Sun, Mercury, and Mars. It is squared (tension) by Jupiter (good fortune) and Uranus (spiritual change.) Pluto represents our personal issues, darkness in the outer world, and change through transformation.

This type of transformation is difficult. It involves exchanging the aspects of the personality for qualities of the soul—and spiritual change. But we gain incredible knowledge from the inner self, which is infinite and loving. It’s a difficult but beautiful part of the transition into the New Age.

Dreaming with Wolves

A close friend recently discovered a 1930 National Geographic with an article about a Finnish shaman, who used the same exercise shared with me by the wolves. The synchronicity encouraged me to share my article  (2003) and dreaming exercise with you.

Eight years ago, I was chosen by the wolf, and began my Odyssey into a world so beautiful and rich that I can only attempt to share it.Somewhere in my voyage, I became a wolf myself. I know what it is to dream with a wolf, to run with a wolf, to be a wolf. I know the incredible psychic power and tremendous strength of the wolf.
Tonight and for all of this week, Sheba the White Wolf has been with me. I hurry to write while I am in her presence, so that my words will be touched by her Truth. Tonight, we will run under the full moon, and I will run easily and lightly. Her strength will carry me effortlessly, and when we are done we will dream together in the great forest where wolves dream and meet to travel into different worlds (See Dreaming Exercise below.)

It was the wolves who taught me to hear not only themselves but all animals — to recall what I knew vaguely as a child and could not articulate: that all of Nature speaks a single language of the heart. It is we — the humans who regard ourselves as superior — who have forgotten this most meaningful language of all.

The great wolf, Juno, told me stories in this language that became the Wolf Myths. Her words ripped my life apart — and when it came back together again, I was forever changed. Wolves do that. It’s wolf magic, pure and simple. You must live with them to know.

The story is about my wolf Maeko and our short time together.

Maeko’s Story

Maeko’s name is a blend of Maicho, meaning “witch” or “wolf,” and Meiko, the Japanese word that means “beloved.” The choice of spelling is her own. Of the forty-odd pups that Juno bore, Maeko was her chosen one.

When I first learned of Maeko’s existence, I thought that it would be impossible for me to have a wolf. For the first time in almost twenty years, I was living not in the woods but in a tiny town, with city streets and next-door neighbors. I worked during the day, and my lease prohibited a dog.

Nevertheless, all of my friends who had wolves encouraged me to adopt Maeko. Kevin called from New Orleans to remind me that he and Anasasi lived happily in a small apartment. Others called to tell me that having a wolf was a matter of importance in my life.

My children begged.

I talked to my landlords, and they laughed about the lease. Of course I could have another pet if I wanted.
So, finally, Maeko came to me. She was a very handsome wolf, slim and elegant, intense; black and white with a long black tail, a curved nose with a beautiful mask, and deep, golden eyes.

Maeko was nervous in her new home. She escaped three times during the first week. The first two times, she played an elaborate game of chase with my children, but eventually came home.

The third time, she ran for miles. When I finally found her, she was drinking water in a deep ditch. I stopped the car and climbed down to where she was. And I could see right away that she didn’t know if she wanted to be with me or not.

I started to cry. I talked to her: “Maeko, I love you. I asked for you, and you came. It will break my heart if you leave.”

She stared at me for a moment with that deep, intense wolf-look. Then she ran into my arms and licked my face. She followed me to the car and jumped in.

That night it stormed violently, and I could hear her nervously running through the house. “Maeko,” I said to her, “come to me.” She ran into my room and jumped in bed with me. I put my arms around her, and I could feel her heartbeat slow down as I stroked her. She put her beautiful head on my chest, and I could feel our spirits begin to merge as we started the deep bonding process that can occur between a wolf and person.

From then on, Maeko slept in my room, and I dreamed with her in that incredible dream-forest where wolves go each night.

When we walked in the mornings, deer began to appear behind the house, and wildlife in the area flourished. The wildlife and landscape changed to fit Maeko’s inner vision. I loved walking with her before work, through the dew she’d created, watching the sun rise.
Maeko began to learn to hear my thoughts and to send me complex pictures. For example, I could ask her where my son was in the neighborhood, and I would receive a detailed picture of him and what he was doing. These pictures were always accurate.

We hiked with Maeko through Tallulah Gorge and took her to waterfalls and on picnics. She was gentle enough that small children could stroke her, and she won the heart of the entire neighborhood. We became so attuned that I could mentally ask her to sit or go into another room, and she would do it, with never a sound on my part.

Maeko was wise. She even guided me through a financial disagreement with my ex-husband. I was on the phone talking to my attorney about this when Maeko looked straight at me and said, “Give up the money.” I knew that the wolves had never misled me before; everything they’d ever told me had been true. So I did what Maeko said — signed away my child support and relinquished control. After that, I worried about having enough money, but Maeko told me not to, and it turned out that she was right. I had been working sporadically as an animal communicator, but now the readings poured in.

Then one day I began to notice that wherever I went, animals spoke to me. As I understood that my gift was to help the animals and humanity, I became more comfortable with myself as a psychic, and my confidence soared.

Christmas came, and Maeko was thrilled by the excitement. She wore a huge French silk bow and was very careful with it. She greeted visitors at the door. And she loved the Christmas tree. She would lie under it very, very carefully.

After Christmas it snowed, and we walked with her through the fresh snow. My mother, who dislikes animals, fell in love with her and took pictures of her throughout the day.
Maeko died nearly a month ago, thirteen months after she came to me. Her death was mysterious and quick, and was accompanied by the “light show” or violent thunderstorm that often follows the death of a wolf. I will never be the same.

We wrapped her in her favorite purple blanket, and my friend, Adam, took her far into the National Forest for me. My children and I cried for three days. Then on the third night we all dreamed of her running in the forest. She was close to us, and we could feel how happy and strong she was.

I am devastated without her, for I cannot be who I truly am without a wolf. But there will be other wolves, and already I feel the next one. He is calling.

I have only one regret. I waited three years to take Maeko because I was afraid of having my heart broken. So perhaps her greatest gift to me, besides her tremendous wolf love, was to teach me how foolish it is to wait for any kind of love.

Dreaming with the Wolves

Sheba the White Wolf is here, and she is helping me to describe the place I go when I dream with the wolves. She believes that you, too, can travel there if it is your desire.

You might burn a little white sage and call upon the energy of the Four Directions before you read this — or just call the Spirit of the Wolf, and ask to go there. Sheba says that is all you have to do. She says if you can’t dream it, just imagine it.

Dreaming Exercise

  • There is a forest where all wolves dream. It is a primeval forest that we all know in a part of our mind. You have been there before. Your soul knows this place. Go to this place in your mind, and in a little while, if you let yourself really see it, the wolves will come.
  • You have known the wolves in other lives. Once, they lived with you, and you ran free and wild with them under the moon. Your body knows this. Let your body remember this.
  • Look around. We are in a vast forest. The trees are huge. They have never been touched by man. These trees are from a different time and place. They are reminiscent of cedars or hemlocks, but they are neither. They are trees that live in this special place, the Place of the Wolves. You can come here only if you are invited. The wolves are calling you because I have asked.Feel this place. Look around and see that the earth is clean and the sky is blue. The sky will darken as the wolves come. It will turn into twilight, and we will travel through the half-world. The half-world is a space in time. You will come to know it.Feel the earth beneath your feet. The earth is warm and the debris on the forest floor is cool and clean. There is moss in the damp places and around the edge of the trees. Feel its softness. There also are rocks beneath the forest floor. Feel their strength. In a little while, you will run. Let your feet and legs feel the rocks, the hard and soft places of the forest floor. Your feet will guide you through the night.

  • The sky is darkening, turning a purple blue. As the first stars are rising, you hear the first wolf howl. A waxing, crescent moon is beginning to rise in the west (the moon will change after the first time, but see it as a quarter crescent the first time). The wolves are beginning to howl. You can hear and feel your wolves. This pack of wolves is your own, unlike anyone else’s. Feel them. Feel the pull of their power. Soon they will be with you. The fine hair on your neck and body will begin to stand up.

  • The first wolf comes to you. It is an Alpha wolf. If you do not know its name, then ask — or wait until you know within. If you do not get a name this time, you will another time.Your body will change in the presence of the wolf. Remember how running and jumping felt when you were fourteen or fifteen? How it felt like flying? Remember what it is like to be incredibly strong.

  • The forest that you are in sits on a long wide ledge. Walk out to the edge with the wolves. One or two wolves may join you, or the entire pack may come. Below, you can see a valley. Above are the mountains and the moon.Hear the wolves howl. Watch as they lift their noses toward the moon. Let the vibrations of their howls travel through your body. Now it is time for you to run.

  • Run with the wolves. And as you do, you may find a space that is like a crack. If you do, travel through it. If not, just run through the forest. The forests will change as you run. The rest is up to the wolves. You will go where they take you.

One day this dream may seem as real to you as anything you have ever known. When that happens, you will know the power and strength of the wolf.
NOTE: As you run with the wolves, the living objects of your vision may appear intensely red or blue, or glowing. This is normal. Wolves see in red and blue — red to hunt, and blue as their normal vision.
