Summer Solstice

A Midsummer’s Night Dream recalls the magic of the longest day of the year when fairies interact with mortals, and the earth lies green and fertile. This year’s solstice chart offers a different magic that comes from expansion into the inner self – if we overcome a few challenges, which is a perpetual theme in these days of change.

A Grand Trine, which accelerates our power to bring dreams into form, is found between Mercury (thought), Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) and Neptune (mysticism, illusion). Grand Trines bring harmonious energies through expression of positive emotion. When we guide our thoughts to elicit aligned emotions, they can be amplified into physical form. There is also a dreaminess in this geometric aspect– an element of mystery and beauty through the involvement of Neptune, which rules the seas of emotion, collective consciousness, and the mystical essence of beauty and art.

The Grand Trine gives a space to pull into the inner self and connect to the Divine when traveling through the pressure of the Grand Square, which causes tension between Venus (love, relationships), Mars (action, male), Jupiter (good fortune), and Uranus (sudden change, awakening). Squares also give insights about the repetitive nature of reaction and personal tendencies when feeling pressure and tension. Through observation and awareness, we can break through patterns and find freedom and strength. (It’s not just about creating – it’s also about releasing our limitations.)

Sun (self, life) is on the last degree of Gemini, an air sign ruling the mind, short journeys, and siblings. At this pivotal point, it is a few hours from stationing in Cancer, a water sign ruling fertility, the home, and the feminine in the role of the mother. Sun opposes Saturn (karma, limitation), suggesting the need to build self-confidence, overcome obstacles, and commit to inner/outer work.

Moon (emotions) is in Libra, an air sign ruling beauty, harmony, and justice. The most exquisite flowers come from seeds planted on a Libra moon. This placement sets the tone of emotion for the overall chart, and Libra can convey a feeling of balance and objectivity.  Moon sextiles Venus (love, relationships), increasing our ability to experience positive emotions in relationships. Moon trines (harmonious) Mars (male, action), and this aspect expands the potential of combining the right emotions with physical action. (We can flow into right action when emotionally aligned.)

Moon squares Mercury (communications), which can affect the emotional content of words and other communications—and cause tension when attempting to clearly speak and relate to others. Moon squares Saturn (karma, limitation), bringing personal, emotional limitations about relationships to the surface. Moon square Pluto (subconscious, transformation) intensifies emotions and need for control. (Keep in mind that control is ego-based; surrender leads to universal energies.)

Mercury (mind, communications) is in Cancer, a water sign, and there is a tendency for thoughts to evoke stronger emotions than usual. The mind is a tool for focusing attention, and the placement can be used as a means of focus on moments and memories, which hold harmony, happiness, and the realization of the inner self.  (When we think about these moments, our physical chemistry changes to reflect the harmony and create more of it in life.) This type of reflection can create harmony and expansion in life because of Mercury’s trine with Jupiter (expansion, growth) and Neptune (mysticism, illusion.)

Grand Square

Venus (love, relationships) in Leo is all about passion and the desire to feel red “hot” in areas of life that correspond with the heart. Venus is part of the Grand Square, and it is opposition (conflicting feelings) Mars (male, action); Venus squares Uranus (sudden change, awakening) and Pluto (subconscious, transformation). Venus opposite Mars makes for uneven transactions between the male and female parts of the self.  Venus square Jupiter brings a lack of focus for work. Venus squares Uranus, it tends to blur the lines between good/bad in relationships. Strong but inaccurate perceptions can lead to sudden changes.

Despite the tense aspects, Venus is love, and part of spiritual growth involves growing past temporary difficulties and uneven perceptions. There is always a bigger, universal perception although it may involve boundaries, speaking the truth, or changing ourselves—and we grow tremendously when we slip into big love.

Mars (male, action) sits in Aquarius, an air sign ruling thought and group connection/consciousness. Mars squares Jupiter (good fortune), and it can give courage and determination. It can also feel a bit obsessive and impulsive when taking action. Mars squares Uranus (sudden change, awakening), which causes erratic bursts of energy with a lack of thought about the outcome. (Sit with ideas and urges before taking action.)

Jupiter and Saturn

Jupiter trines Uranus (sudden change, awakening), adding optimism, kindness, and a desire for spiritual pursuits to the mix of energies. Saturn (limitation, karma) trines Uranus (sudden change, awakening), expanding our ability to combine the new and old worlds within ourselves and group consciousness.

Planets in Retrograde

Neptune is now retrograde, which can act as a big plus for empaths and psychics. Neptune rules collective consciousness, the shared sea of emotional energy in which we swim together. When Neptune is indirect, we receive less collective information and instantly use our internal filter more effectively. The retrograde position can be helpful in seeing reality more clearly.

Jupiter (good fortune), Saturn (karma, limitation), Neptune (mysticism, illusion), and Pluto (subconscious, transformation) are currently retrograde. For this reason, we won’t feel the strong pull of the outer planets as strongly as usual.

Notes:

  • The Grand Trine offers energy similar to opening a window and breathing the fresh air of spring. It is invigorating, hopeful, and offers the space to tune into higher vibrations – and to shape them into a wonderful, physical form. (As always, this requires work.) The Trine works with the concept of using the right thoughts to connect with images of expansion and abundance and pull them into physical form.
  • The Grand Square affects love (Venus), action (Mars), Jupiter (good fortune), and Uranus (sudden change, awakening). A Grand Square does cause stress; the object is to transcend it by finding the inner self and moving into a higher space of consciousness.
  • Many aspects are found with the Moon, the source of emotion and movement within the self. Oscillation is part of mastery. Observe whenever possible.
  • Solstices can be a door into the quantum field of consciousness where we find new answers, increase our light, and gain new perceptions about ourselves and the world.

10 Reasons to Manifest More!

 

Manifestation means consciously creating our life with an intention, visualization, and an accompanying feeling. The intention is the desire, which comes from the inner self. A visualization is composed of a crystal clear image, accompanied by a feeling representing the sensation of connection.

The sensation of connection is described as peace, love, fulfillment, or grace. Everyone has different words for it, but it is also the feeling of the heart—the opening of space to experience the universe, the One and All.

  1. It’s important because manifestation teaches how we hear, see, and feel our soul. It teaches differentiation between everyday life and the spiritual world. It gives hope, grace, and an amazing energy, which can be shared with others and the world.
  2. Love is the fabric of manifestation. If we create with the inner self, we must move into love by guiding it into form. (We exchange the old, erratic energy of negative creations for love when creating positive manifestations.)
  3. We become more conscious when we actively create. We are already creating subconsciously, but our tendency is repetition—and not always in a happy way. Positive visualizations and the development of a happier feeling actually raises our frequency. Life flows more smoothly from with a positive frequency.
  4. Awareness of our current process of creating soars when we hold positive images. Awareness is part of higher consciousness. When we are aware of how it feels to move out of higher consciousness, we can alter it. We begin to understand it’s not just life or other people. (Sometimes, it is other people and mass consciousness. But we can do something about it!)
  5. Successful manifestation comes from an universal connection. Positive manifestation comes from the inner self and source. It brings feelings of love, grace, and generosity. It moves us into a place of peace.
  6. We learn to trust and believe when we see our dreams and desires in material form. It’s easy to trust and believe when we see a manifestation in physical form. Also, there is that amazing rush of love!
  7. The beauty of the experience is a catalyst for creating good in the world. When we overcome fear, step into our heart felt desires, and see and feel the result of manifestation, we want it for everyone.
  8. Our awareness of universal laws is heightened. When we act on hunches, intuitions, and signs, we become more open to universal motion. We seek more experience and understanding.
  9. The universe opens us to new people, experiences, and heightened awareness. We feel, see, and sense more. We also sense more of the invisible world. The universe leads us into new situations and understanding.

7 Tips for Manifesting

1) Everyone is already manifesting. The first step is realizing how your thoughts, emotions, and visual imagery affect your life. (You can look at the positive and negative aspects of your life.) Meditation naturally alters the flow of visualization as well as the direction of your thoughts and emotions. It softens negative emotions and opens the heart to love. Conscious visualization activates the energy needed to create a desire.

2) You become more powerful when you consistently meditate and actively visualize. Your meditation and visualization practices actually direct the particles of energy around you into form. (When we don’t consciously direct energy, it takes the form of your lower thoughts.) Your thoughts and emotions take form more quickly and easily when you meditate. You also accumulate or store energy, which makes it easier to navigate through life.

3) Your desires come from a higher source. This higher source (God or the universe) wants you to have prosperity, abundance, love, vitality, and a greater spiritual connection. Creating the positive in your life is part of stepping into your true identity. If you are consistently meditating, you learn how love is the magical substance, which transforms your life–and the world.

4) Creating what you want or desire often means “seeing” the opposite of your current experience. For example, if you are unhappy in a particular area of life, you must see the exact opposite. If you experience financial loss, you see financial opportunities and gain. If you are broken-hearted, you visualize love coming from all directions in life. (It’s not enough to simply see it. You must feel and embrace it. You make the subjective experience more real than your actual experience.)

5) Light vibrates at a higher level than “real” life. The rules are different in the quantum field. Lost objects reappear in strange places. Money manifests. You can grow younger, and opportunities appear from nowhere.  The point is not asking how. Trust in the light and universal power. (You don’t need to know how. Stay with practice and act when prompted from the inner self.)

6) When you want to give up, you’re probably close to manifesting your desire. There is an energetic rule regarding manifestation. It takes a tremendous effort to manifest the last 5-10% of a desire. People often see success in the early phases, and they feel encouraged in the middle phase. They wonder if it will come into fruition in the last phase. It’s very important to persevere through the last phase. It’s the most difficult step. It requires a great deal of energy, but it is always worth it. And you learn it’s possible to endure through this phase, which typically seems to last forever!

7) After your desire manifests, you will feel happy and relieved. There is a temptation to put aside the spiritual work — to rest, and revel in the results. (Don’t give in.) Actually, it is the most important time to renew your spiritual practice because manifestation is ultimately about drawing closer to the universe and its secrets. Make the realization that happiness, which comes from the inner self, is greater than any material achievement.

Three Important Points

  1. Your overall energy, consciousness, and intent (placement of focus) influence your manifestation. For example, focusing intently on a desire is helpful. It works much better if you consistently work on creating higher vibrations such as love, kindness, and positive feelings.
  2. It’s also important to align your emotions with the desired outcome. Specific situations can lower our vibrations and invoke negative emotion. Overcoming negative emotional states is part of creating anything. (It’s okay to feel negative emotion. Just learn to work your way out of it.)
  3. Learning to see and feel your life in a different way creates change as well as eliciting help from the universe.

New Moon Forecast

 

The New Moon falls on Sunday, April 15.  It’s the beginning point of a new cycle as light returns to life through the waxing of the moon, and it’s also when Mercury moves direct. Every chart has a specific focus on elements (fire, air, water, or earth) as well as specific planets. This chart brings some lovely elements. Of course, it also contains challenges. (All charts do.)

The New Moon chart places our attention on the elements of fire, water, and earth. There are no planets in air, which is needed for clarity of thought. Fire ignites passion, and it stirs dreams. Sun (outer self), Moon (inner self), Mercury (communication), and Uranus (awakening) are placed in Aries, urging action based on desires and dreams.

Earth is the substance for cultivating the seeds of our desire and makes them take shape in material form. Its speed is slower than fire; it likes patience, diligence, and sensuality. Venus rules Taurus—earthly beauty—urging us to put our dreams into form. Mars (action, male), Saturn (karma, structure), and Pluto (subconscious, transformation) are placed in Capricorn, ruling status, structure, and foundation in the material world.

Water is emotion, and spiritual mastery relates to emotion. By clearing emotional patterns, we find space for connection and insight. Jupiter (growth, expansion) in Scorpio insists on clearing emotions and seeing beyond the surface before moving forward into greater awakening. Neptune and Chiron in Pisces continue to emphasize the need to release emotional patterns based on our past experiences and beliefs.  (Emotional clearing takes work, but it clears the heart space—and brings freedom from limitation.)

There is a strong focus on identifying dreams and inner passion from Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Uranus, which are placed in Aries. Fire can also ignite our spiritual nature and align us with the inner quest. In this chart, fire is partially blocked by squares with Pluto, which indicates the need to identify elements in the subconscious that keep us from embracing the next sphere of higher consciousness.

Sun and Moon square Mars in Capricorn, creating tension between the desire for action and the actual physical experience in the material world. Sun, Moon, and Uranus are conjunct in Aries, increasing the desire to take strong, immediate action. In other words, we will want to act and change our reality, but grounding and practicality are desirable, too. (It’s important to have a practical plan, which can expand in the future—not in the moment.)

Venus (feminine, love) in Taurus trines Mars (male, assertion), making harmony between the 2 sides of the self—and the sexes. Venus also trines Pluto, aiding in the quest to understand the self and make harmony between the planets. Venus opposes Jupiter, indicating soul searching is necessary before moving into physical harmony and beauty.

Mars conjuncts (close to) Saturn (limitation) and Pluto (subconscious, transmutation), which can elicit negative emotion or right action, depending on personal choice and inner alignment. These aspects can cause the desire to act on old wounds and emotions—or ignite the ability to move to higher point of consciousness. (If the world feels heavy or difficult at the moment, this is part of the reason. But it will pass.)

Beliefs, placement of consciousness, and memories can often block the desired objective or dream, and Pluto asks us to flow down the dark river of time and discover the truth. (If we believe a particular event occurs when reaching for an accomplishment, it will repeat until we alter our inner landscape—which only occurs through deep soul work.)

Jupiter trines Neptune (illusion, mysticism) and sextiles Pluto (subconscious, transmutation). Jupiter is the planet of expansion and good fortune; it knows how to align us with our inner dreams and goals. In its trine with Neptune, Jupiter lends optimism, a connection with the good in the world. With the sextile, it softens the heaviness of many planets that pull in energies from the depths of the underworld.

The New Moon offers the choice of continuing old cycles through emphasis of the pain of the past—or recognizing it as a possible source of soul growth. (Treasure is always hidden in the darkness in soul work.) If we transmute old patterns of self into a higher form, we’ll choose the right actions and find a lighter, more beautiful path.

Find the Light

 

Light and love are always the answer. They hold the highest vibrations on the planet. If we call on the light, the universe answers. But it’s easier to access “light” through specific techniques.

Light responds differently with specific situations and meditations. These brief exercises work well for a variety of problems, including receiving more enlightenment and understanding. When we see and feel life differently, it often alters into a higher vibration—and brings more positive outcome.

“Real” love feels unconditional, soft, and centered. It brings healing, answers, and gentle self-motivation. It helps in seeing the good in the self and others. It is like looking through a beautiful, rainbow lens with a heart, which feels uplifted and calm. All of the exercises will help in finding this place.

Here are a few tips for working with the Inner Self.

  1. Come to center and find inner self on a daily basis. Meditation helps in finding the true self. From this place, wisdom, self-love, and peace flow. The answer is in the center; it feels simple and true when you find it. (It’s easiest to call in the light by becoming still. It’s helpful to pull inward to feel the inner self. )
  2. Put your attention on happiness. Happiness—like all inner states—requires attention and contemplation. (It’s actually a habit.) Notice all of the things, which bring happiness in your life. Listen to your voice to see if it conveys happiness. Notice your feelings when you look at objects, read emails, or travel short distances. Make a conscious effort to expand and find happiness throughout the day.
  3. Peace acts like a river; it eases and soothes emotion. There are no thoughts when we align with peace, only stillness. Imagine experiencing peace before/after others attempt to pull us into drama. (As our energy level heightens, others try to pull you into their drama. By detaching from their drama and visualizing a happy outcome, we can return to place of peace.
  4. Know that life moves in a cyclical pattern, marked by highs and lows. The challenge lies in finding and observing the pattern, altering emotions, and making “center” or the true self more important than the feelings and situation.
  5. Conflicting thoughts comprise part of spiritual growth. It’s how we put ourselves together and resolve the many parts of the self. When the answer comes, it will be simple. It will resonate with the inner self. Until this time comes, notice the feelings. It’s okay to feel two, conflicting emotions and/or thoughts. Eventually, the thoughts do bring resolution and wholeness.
  6. Pull the mind away from upsetting thoughts and situations. Return to the heart. Practice meditation to return to center, then visualize a positive outcome in a place of stillness.
  7. Know the process is working, and the universe wants to help. While many of these tips and exercises are not logical, they follow spiritual law. Our visualizations thoughts, and emotions alter the course of life because they invoke—and the most  powerful part of our inner being.

Working with the Outer Self

  1. You can also use light with the self who interacts in the physical world. (This is actually how you act on the inner self’s insights.) You can begin by seeing success in your endeavor and follow it with a tangible step. Every step counts, and they add up.)
  2. All new work in the outer world requires courage and persistence. You’re following your intuition, and you may not know exactly how to move in the right direction. Decide on a task, see in fruition, and take a chance.  (Any response is always a positive answer–whether it seems like it or not.)
  3. Overcoming fear and resistance is part of the challenge. You (and everyone else) have patterns and blocks. Overcoming them is part of spiritual success. Sometimes, you simply feel the fear and go forward.
  4. Find a knowledgeable person to help with your endeavor. It saves time, effort, and energy.
  5. Focus on small tasks by creating a  visual or feeling of your desirable outcome. When you feel doubt or hesitation, return to your image and feeling. The images and feelings surrounding your desires come partially from the universe, which will come to your aid if you are consistent in invoking it through your thoughts, images, and placement of consciousness. 7 Tips for Creative Visualization

  1. Begin with a positive and courageous attitude. It doesn’t matter if you tried and failed in the past. Your perseverance with practice will change your life. In time, you’ll recognize patterns of lower emotion and thought. You’ll transcend them with positive imagery and thought. Beliefs and circumstances will alter with practice.
  2. It’s good to know this is a particularly good time for creative change. Many people are changing at one time, and their energy lends support with your efforts. It’s a wonderful time for awakening more!
  3. Whether or not you feel connected in meditation, believe it is working. Every time you practice meditation, you are literally collecting energy and light. The energy builds over time. Trust in effort. (With visualization, you can also “see” yourself doing anything that is normally difficult. An opportunity for change will come if you stay with the practice.) Visualize an action in detail. Take action, and see positive results. Repeat often.
  4. You have created a big, positive change—at least once. Travel through your memories and choose one of these times to revisit. Relive the memory and feel the burst of resolve and courage, which resulted in accomplishment. You can use this energy again (simply by remembering it.)
  5. Work with your intuitions. Intuitions can be grouped into areas–true and false. Keep a list. Refrain from acting on the “false” intuitions, and act more on the “true” list. (It’s important to know you will receive new intuitions and dreams whenever you reach a higher energy level. It takes time to discern true from false—and the same is true with dreams.)
  6. Spend time with people on a higher energy level. Find friends who encourage you and believe in you. (You don’t discuss your manifestation, but you do enjoy the friendship.)
  7. Raise your vibrations by listening to lectures or meditations by people on a higher level and/or reading spiritual works. It’s good to read a few spiritual words before bed and visualize awakening in a rested state. (If you experienced a turbulent day, you can actually see everything as better in 48 hours. It usually works.)

Art of Conscious Creation

 

There is a real art to conscious creation. It is taught in alchemy and many branches of metaphysics. The methodology is real, but it must be learned and applied. I am presenting these concepts for those who understand that creating change in the world is only accomplished through changing one’s perceptions, thoughts, emotions and sensations. This article presents a basic outline of simple techniques that are easily applied through practice and self-observation.

Meditation, which is the reception of higher spiritual energy, can also lend insight into the truth of our inner selves, the path of inner knowing or wisdom. This place of inner knowing deepens our faith and belief in a positive outcome. Through sensing this beautiful place “within”, the possibility of a beautiful “real world” can become a viable reality. This is a reality that we not only experience, but can also share to enliven and enrich others’ experiences of the world.

If we focus on lack of love, prosperity or joy in our lives, then we naturally create more of an undesirable state. When we speak about our negative feelings that surround an unhappy state of mind, we create a vibration with our voice, which is sound or frequency that reinforces the appearance of the undesirable state.

The attraction factor of energetic outcome could be called concentration or intent. The creation of positive or negative outcome is achieved through repetition of the focus of the mind, particularly through the experience of strong emotions or sensations. Any intense thought pattern will eventually evoke an emotional state. This will create either physical tension or relaxation in the body. The emotional and physical responses will determine the creation of a positive or negative outcome.

Our proclivity is to create the future through the projection of memories, thoughts and feelings into our “perception of the future”. We generally project our consciousness without awareness of what or how we create. A classic example of unconscious creation can be found by reviewing at any recurrent problem in our lives. This tendency is easily visible if we notice how many times each day that we experience negative thoughts or feelings about the problem. How many times have we felt guilt over a small social blunder? We keep the negative energy around us by focusing on it.

Emotions are feelings, and thoughts, pictures; together they create holograms or powerful mental/emotional images. It is impossible to perform any action without a hologram, and we “program” ourselves with our holograms, so that they become almost automatic, like tying our shoes. In other words, our reality is perpetuated by holograms, which are often subconscious.

Without awareness, we assemble a life based on memories. We expect that our lives will be the same tomorrow — but perhaps we will be older! We actually create our lives on this basis. We expect to wake in the same bed, the same house, the same car, and have the same friends. Our expectations are the form or structure that we use to create the present.

In creating our future, we must experience the exact opposite of an undesirable state — through “creating” positive thoughts and feelings. By calming the emotions or projecting a positive outcome into the future, it is possible to change the outcome of our lives. People usually experience difficulty with creative consciousness because they only think “inside of the box”. Thinking “inside of the box” tends to be linear — assuming that same problem can always be solved in the same manner.

As human beings, we are conditioned by our society to focus our minds negatively. We believe that money is limited; love diminishes over time; we will age a certain amount at a certain age; the destruction of the earth is imminent; and happiness may only be experienced briefly. Why focus on these thoughts when it is possible to entertain a joyous, beautiful reality?

When we choose to focus on positive holograms, reality is naturally altered in a lovely way. An act of will is necessary to create the possibility of this beautiful, joyous reality by retraining the focus of the mind and emotions. It can take time to reprogram holograms, but we can know that our new images are working through the occurrence of positive synchronicity and uplifted emotions. Each moment we have the opportunity to choose what we think is “real”: a wonderful reality or a depressing one. The choice of focus in each moment eventually determines the reality of our experience.

“Thinking out of the box” means feeling and creating pictures or holograms of a desired state that has never or rarely been experienced in our lives. The desired state is created by focusing on positive memories, remembering the positive feelings and thoughts in the present; and, finally, projecting this desired state into the future. (Consciousness and thought have an actual energetic output. Every time we focus on an idea that it is transmitted to others. We have the potential power to create a positive visualization and to share it by simply meditating on it.)

Keep in mind that much of our world, according to esoteric texts, is an illusion or reflection of our thoughts, actions and words. The “real” part of our world is a reflection of the higher parts of our nature. Our perception of the positive aspects of the world relies on our own attunement to our higher nature or true self…

Daily meditation practice is essential in creating active change. A practice should consist of five or ten minutes of focused imagery. In this meditative state, we should see our desired hologram, while experiencing it in the NOW. It is best to visualize the final result, as though we are experiencing the desired reality in the moment.

The manifestation process is quickened by writing down precisely what we want (this forms a mental picture) on an index card. Positive emotional experiences should be written on the other side of the card. Imagine that the two sides of the card come together as one manifestation. Look at the card each night before sleep. Imagine that this happy state is fully realized.

By following these steps, we can create our desired life and actually materialize it by changing our thoughts, feelings and actions. There are many classes, books and practices about manifestation. One of the secrets is listening to what the Universe wants for you, by listening to your heart. This feeling of quiet and peace found within will attune you to the right intentions, thoughts, feelings and actions.

There is always a pivotal point in manifestation — at this point, we begin to ask. “What does the Universe want me to do and what can I do for others?” We begin to look at our lives to see what we can change about our selves, instead of changing others; to see our selves as creators, rather than victims. Our hearts speak to us, opening to the creative message of the Divine.

Technique for Practice

Choose a quiet place for meditation. Try to meditate during the first hour after awakening. Begin with a color — blue or pink seem to be the easiest in the beginning. Focus on the color until you feel, see and have a sense of the color.

Focus on positive feelings….the feeling of accomplishing a goal, the feelings that were present on the best days of your life, or the physical sensations of a beautiful day. Now imagine having achieved your heart’s desire. See it in its final state of completion.

Feel the joy and happiness that you would experience upon completion of the desire. See your self smiling and laughing in the picture. Now let the picture fade away, replacing the image with white light that shines on you and through your body and field.

End the meditation with a reminder that each time you focus that you are moving a step closer to your heart’s desire. YOU ARE DESERVING AND WORTHY OF A WONDERFUL LIFE!
