Moon in Scorpio hints at transformation, mystical energy, and deep emotion. Moon (emotions) opposes Mercury (thought), creating a conflict between waves of emotion and conscious thought. (Emotion and thought tend to move between extremes.) Moon trines Mars (action, assertion), giving confidence and courage, the strength to take action, and positive emotion. Moon trine Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) increases positivity and generosity with others. Moon opposes Uranus (sudden change, quantum field) may cause upsets, erratic emotions, and provoke change, particularly in accordance with strong emotion. It can also cause disruption with electronics. Moon trine Neptune (illusion, mysticism) heightens sensitivity, emotion, and imagination. It increases artistic and creative ability in a harmonious way.
Mercury (thought, communication) is retrograde until June 10. Mercury is placed in Gemini, an air sign, which usually increases communication and thought. Mercury rules air as it’s the substance through which thought, electronics, and speech travel. When Mercury is retrograde in an air sign, it intensifies the miscommunication, delays, and issues with electronics. The rules of Mercury retrograde include planning for longer travel times, redoing or completing projects, and reviewing aspects of life. ((t’s not a time to buy electronics or begin anything new.)
Mercury square Saturn (limitation, karma) indicates success with focused mental work, conflict with communication, and caution with business matters. Mercury trine Pluto (subconscious, transformation) gives sharp mentality, access to hidden gifts, and the ability to research or investigate to discover subtle truths.
Venus (love, beauty, harmony) sits in Aries, a fire sign that loves new beginnings and movement in life. In Aries, Venus is passionate and sensual. Venus conjuncts Chiron, the wounded healer The aspect may concern lack of self-confidence and memories that prevent opening the heart to love on an universal level. (If we’re ready to move through the old pain and hurt, the aspect supports personal healing.)
Mars (action, male) is in Pisces, a water sign represented by two fishes swimming in opposite directions. It stirs emotion, particularly when we move into action. Mars conjuncts Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) brings courage, initiative, and self-confidence—and supercharges our drive with projects, sexuality, and physical tasks. Mars conjuncts Neptune (illusion, mysticism) gives other-worldly energy that can open intuition, increase ability with artistic pursuits, or pull us into illusion and escapism about life.
If Jupiter (expansion) brought a dreamy, passive state, then Jupiter in Aries, a fire sign, gives energy to put dreams into form. Jupiter in Aries gives a push, passion, and desire to see our plans play out in physical form. It moves consciousness from the realization that we have big dreams into the longing to express them in the physical world. Jupiter conjuncts Neptune (illusion, mysticism), opening our consciousness to the wealth of information found in the unseen world. It also reminds us that many “real” answers are found by going within and pondering the immensity of the spiritual world.
Neptune (illusion, mysticism) conjuncts Pluto (subconscious, transformation), which asks us for utilization of this time for our spiritual journey. It benefits meditation, finding spiritual teachers, and realizing the importance of the quest.
Tips
- The eclipse and super moon will be intense. Moon in Scorpio affects emotions. Plan to meditate and quiet the mind, emotions, and body.
- Ask to receive the positive frequencies from the Masters of Light and the benefit of Buddha’s moment of realization.
- It’s a fertile moon with Sun in Taurus, and Moon in Scorpio—both are feminine signs. When the moon appears in fertile, feminine signs, the earth is receptive. It is also receptive to our inner thoughts and feelings, which enhances our ability to manifest.
- Mercury is retrograde. Expect glitches with electronics and make an effort to communicate well. Take extra time for travel and short trips. (Patience is required during Mercury retro.)
- There are many aspects for healing, self-realization, gestalt thoughts, and spiritual connection. We may find answers by tuning into the universe and tuning out the outer world.
