Black Moon/Solar Eclipse

The New “Black” Moon, accompanied by a solar eclipse, appears on February 15 at 4:05 pm. The New Moon represents the void, a time of reflection that includes planning the future and releasing unwanted aspects of the past. It’s a time of stillness before life takes on a new form in the material world.

Eclipses reset our energy with their on/off motion, and it’s helpful to focus the mind on a desirable outcome. At this time, we have the opportunity to reset our energy (through the eclipse) as part of the attainment of higher collective consciousness.

The chart for the New Moon is surprisingly clear. With Sun (outer life), Moon (inner life, emotions), and Mercury (communications, mind) in Aquarius, it’s about experiencing oneness, humanitarian efforts, and moving more deeply into universal love. As with all charts, there are challenges, but they are surmountable.

Sun and Moon in Aquarius are conjunct (close to) Venus (love, feminine). Venus (love, feminine, material possessions) is placed in Pisces, where it is exalted, opening our being to the softer waves of love. Venus conjuncts (close) Neptune (Illusion, mysticism), eliciting dreams of personal and universal love. Neptune rules water (emotion), and this aspect hints at the power of overcoming obstacles (in this chart) by moving into the sea of collective love.

Venus (love, feminine) squares (tension) Mars (male, action) in Sagittarius. When Mars is placed in a fire sign, it’s passionate and energetic. Mars longs for action while Venus wants to dream about love and float on gentle waves of energy. In many ways, this square represents an aspect of human duality—the desire to act on ambition in the physical world (Mars) and the need to relax and rest on the harmony of the spiritual world. (Many of us long for resolution and integration of these two qualities, which will come at a future date.)

Mars (male action) squares Neptune, intensifying the conflict between the desire for peace and mysticism and the need to make changes in the physical world. Both states are needed in our spiritual/physical existence. Squares such as these with Venus/Mars/Neptune ask us to find a harmonious resolution. (It may be helpful to internalize the energies of love (Venus/Neptune) and collective consciousness before taking action in the outer world.)

With these aspects, Sun (outer life), Moon (inner life, emotions) and Mercury (communications, mind) square (tension) Jupiter (good fortune, expansion) in Scorpio.  In this case, Jupiter’s good and expansive nature may work against us. Sun square Jupiter refers to exaggeration, excess, or over-promising. Moon square Jupiter can refer to excessive generosity and/or giving too much to help others—or seeing too much good in others and not the truth. Mercury (mind, communications) square Jupiter can help in creating large, wonderful plans, but they are not usually practical or wise. (Review them in a couple of weeks!)

Jupiter (expansion, beneficial) trines (beneficial)  Neptune (mysticism, idealism) in Pisces, expanding interest about the spiritual path and leading our consciousness into idealistic endeavors. Often, we meet new and different people and/or have new experiences. The trine encourages openness and personal growth.

Uranus is preparing to move into the sign of Taurus. It’s the ruler of this Age and exerts a great deal of influence. It may feel like Mercury retrograde occasionally when traffic suddenly becomes heavy, or the computer works slowly, but it’s the transition of this time. Uranus’ square with Pluto will remain until May. As part of our growth, the two planets ask us to look at the underworld and transform whatever we see into light–or into greater understanding.

Summary:

  1. The solar eclipse offers another opportunity to reset our minds on a higher ideal.
  2. Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Aquarius attune our consciousness to collective consciousness, changes made through the mind, oneness, and group endeavors.
  3. Venus is exalted in Pisces, deepening our ability to feel and experience love on a cosmic level. This is deepened by Venus’s conjunction with Neptune, the planet that connects everyone on a emotional/astral level. (We may feel more intuitive.)
  4. We’re looking for balance between the activity of the outer world and the quiet contemplation of the inner world. (Venus squares Mars, and Mars squares Neptune.)
  5. The caution is about excess–giving to much, promising too much, and making plans that are too large and not realistic.
  6. Overall, it’s a lovely chart, which can take us into deeper realization and connection with the “all”.

Creating Change from Within

When working on personal dreams, it’s to commit a specific amount of energy to helping the world through action, word, and vision. A few ideas for passive change to help the self–and the world–are listed below.

  • Focus on a personal feeling of peace. Notice how it feels and expand this inner state to the surrounding area. Imagine everyone and everything encompassed n a wave of peace. Feel the peace like waves in an ocean
  • Send pink light to every particle and atom in the space around you. Pink light is unconditional love, and it lifts everything in its sphere. (Sometimes, it’s easier to send pink light as opposed to “love” because we color the feeling of love with many personal preferences.
  • It’s important to learn to pause whenever we feel discordant energy between ourselves and another human being. It’s helpful to pull back our energy and briefly see the other person’s point of view or feeling. From this place, imagine seeing their inner light. (This is simply to clear energy and remove them from our energy field.) In general, pause whenever emotions are strong. Pull back into the inner self.
  • Separate from mass consciousness (lower global consciousness, including emotion) often. The entire world is changing, and it moves between light and darkness. Ask for alignment with the inner self when life feels heavy and difficult. Focus on the feeling of the flow when accompanied by a wave of happiness. (The overall energy should change in an hour or two.)
  • Learn to see the opposite of the difficult side of life. The images in our mind travel very quickly as we become more psychic. If we focus on a negative, world happening, we actually intensify it. It’s helpful to see the opposite of the difficulty, move into the heart, and ask the universe to provide the feeling of an answer. (Of course, it’s also helpful to send the feeling of the answer out into the world. Somewhere, someone is meditating and/or praying. They will receive the feeling and amplify it.)
  • Spend time in nature. Ground the body and take time to see the perfection of leaves, flowers, and wildlife. This practice eases the pressure, aligning body and spirit.
  • Practice self-nurturing. Rest when energy is low; act when energy is high. (There is a new energetic rule. It’s not helpful to send energy or help others when energy is low. It’s the opposite of the Piscean Age. Keep the cup half-full at all times.)
  • Release judgement when possible. It’s fine to have an opinion or belief, but it’s helpful not to inflict it on others.
  • Practice faith, hope, and courage. It takes faith to create strong, positive visions. It takes courage to continue to see them, and it requires faith and hope to make a consistent effort. But it’s also how we learn to believe in ourselves–and our inner work.

Ascension through Sacred Geometry

Presented courtesy Spirit of Maat

Thomas Morton was recognized as one of the world’s leaders in the understanding and application of Sacred Geometry. Here, he talks of how, through utilizing sacred geometry, we can create a vortex of energy that acts as our own inner temple. Upon entering that sacred space in meditation, we can access the deep silence, becoming empowered to recognize lower thought forms and ascend in consciousness and being.

From there, he teaches, we become alchemists, transmuting intent into physical manifestation.

Julia: Just to begin, could you explain for our readers the importance of Sacred Geometry?

Thomas: Most of us who have an interest in Sacred Geometry have a burning desire to understand Creation — to know how everything comes into existence. When we have the desire to understand these things, the path takes us to higher vibrations and frequencies, colors and sounds, as both are one and the same, being but different expression of Energy.

In studying the Sacred Geometry of Creation, we first understand that creation takes place in what is known as “no time and space,” and that it then enters into dimensionality through the intra-dimensional doorway known as the Golden Mean Spiral.

Why do we utilize Sacred Geometry? The purest answer is because it creates for us the frequencies of a controlled place of deep silence, the place of The Silent Watcher, that has no beginning or end. The Golden Mean is the doorway to this place known as “no time and space,” where we can interact with Creation. It is the sacred doorway to the intuitive, the space to where we once again are God in action.

This sacred space is also an environment of a frequency of great understanding within the universal All That Is. En masse, we are creating a tremendous amount of discordant energy on the planet, and in order to again become the Master Presence that we are, we need to cease participating in the thoughts and feelings that give rise to discord. The closer we become to the Creator, the further we move from the analytical mind, and the more we awaken the intuitive mind.

This is our destination: to unlearn, as the Tibetans state it. To once more allow the intuitive to be the directing force, and allow the outer, or analytical, mind to take a step back into its divine plan of carrying out the intuitive.

So the student uses Sacred Geometry to bring in a controlled space for the purpose of entering into the Great Silence, where we then have a choice of which thoughts and feelings we will participate with. The focus and discipline of Sacred Geometry sustains the silent mind. We go into that space in order to send discordant thoughts and feelings into the Light.

Julia: Could you compare the sacred space within a physical temple to the one we create within? How does the sacred space in the physical temple come into being?

Thomas: If we take it as given that there is energy acting within the pyramids and temples, then we might first want to look to the cause of that energy. Every effect has to have a cause, so where does the energy come from?

The greatest source of energy on the earth is electromagnetic energy, energies of outer Creation that actually surround the planet and reside in what is known as the magnetosphere. In essence, the planet is a giant gyro. A solid core that spins faster than the outer shell creates this electromagnetic energy.

It’s important to understand that this energy has the acting energy of the electron, or the intelligent part of the atomic structure.

Seeing this, we can now see that the temples are like antenna to this magnetosphere. They call in a vortex of magnetic energy.

When the electromagnetic energy vortex enters the temple, the electron is split away from the magnetic wave and both are utilized to create three harmonics within the temple itself, and there are in turn three chambers in the Great Pyramid that express these three different frequencies.

The King’s Chamber represents the spiritual, and has the quality of Silence, the place of everything that was, is, and will be.

The Queen’s Chamber is the mental chamber, where for example you could write an equation one mile long and recall it all.

Finally, the catacombs, or the place of the dead, is the place of alchemy, bringing energy into the physical plane or the third dimension. New plant and animal life, for example, could be created here without disharmony, through this great alchemy of love.

So the Great Pyramid represents these three frequencies of energy and the harmonic creation of new forms of life.

Zero point — the controlled space I talked of earlier — is always present in the Great Pyramid. And we also utilize this controlled space in many of the other temples, like Macchu Pichu, that were erected as ascension schools.

The alchemy of creating new forms of life in the ascension temples took place at the time of the solstice, because at the exact moment when the energy switches either from the longest or the shortest day, there is a Zero Point where it was possible to bring these new forms onto the planet harmony with the All That Is.

Likewise, there are three energies or frequencies that are used for creation: Force, Thought (knowing), and Love. In the third dimension, these three aspects of creation are usually experienced as the experience of physicality, mind, and Love. These are the energies that actually surround us in the seen and unseen.

Julia: What about emotional energy?

Thomas: Emotional energy is not noted here because that is simply a combination of feelings and thoughts.

So we can see the representation of Being One with the Universal Creation or All That Is.

But the most important message is that we have a temple within each one of us. All of the great masters have told us of this temple. It is the Temple of the Heart.

All of the great outer ceremonies are simply representational of what we can do and become within. Ascended Master Jesus the Christ said of the miracles he had performed, “All this ye can do, and more.” The true work for each of us is within our own temple.

Julia: How do we create sacred space? How do we apply this in our lives?

Thomas: Sacred space was created before the temples. It is a state of creation itself. We can create sacred space in our own temple. If we pray or meditate in one place regularly, we then create a vortex. By vortex, I mean “spinning energy,” whether it is positive or negative. The personal vortex is also a Golden Mean spiral. The spinning of the chakras creates a doorway into no-time and space. If we can create the doorway, then we have access to the Great Silence.

So we utilize Sacred Geometry to create a sacred space from which to ascend to the point of being Love in Action, in the Now. We can express this ascended God presence in the third dimension by applying or being in the Great Silence. We cannot be generating discord and applying Love divine at the same time. We have to be able to sustain the Love in the Now, and extend it out into the dense world of Creation. The same doorway of the Golden Mean is used in this respect also. We become God in Action.

Julia: What tools do we gain within this sacred space for living in the dense or physical world?

Thomas: The ego, or analytical mind, has been taught that it is in charge, and this teaching must be unlearned. Being in the sacred space teaches us to move beyond the analytical mind and into the intuitive mind. We can encounter the intuitive mind only in sacred space, and from there we can learn to identify the analytical mind.

The analytical mind co-creates doubt, fear, and resistance, as well as the patterns that we play through our mind when we are operating out of habituated behavior, on automatic pilot.

Of course, the analytical mind resists entering this sacred space. We have to realize that we will have doubts and fears about the “inner knowing” or truth that we encounter in sacred space. We have to have the faith and courage to stay with the inner knowing, even when we don’t see proof of what we experienced and felt.

We will still feel doubt and fear, but once we realize that they come from the lower mind, the analytical mind can know that these instead of participating with these thoughts and feelings, we need to transmute them.

The Akashic Records say that the lower, or carnal, mind sprang forth at a certain point in time. This tells us that it is finite, for only finite things have a beginning. Infinity has no beginning. But finite things also have an end. As well as having a beginning point, the finite mind also has an end point. For this reason, it is much more afraid of us, who are conquering it, than we are afraid of it.

And until the lower mind reaches its end point, it will continue to create as much chaos as possible, for that is how it sustains itself. It gets its energy by stealing ours.

When we generate lower thought and feeling, it goes to the lower collective. This is why we must watch carefully within our minds, standing guard not to participate with doubt. For example, the lower mind will definitely seed doubt about what I’m saying here, for it does not want to be found out. It constantly puts our focus on outer things and illusions.

As a result, we need to actually crave discipline. No matter how much resistance we have to meditating each day or being in the sacred space, we need to apply discipline to every aspect of our lives, including eating and breathing. And we need most of all to stand guard on our consciousness.

So we have to have a plan for meditation, a plan for the expression of the true self.

Julia: How is alchemy used in the sacred space? How can we use this practice in creation?

Thomas: Let’s say that we realize the need to meditate and create a sacred space or altar for meditation.

So we do this. And after we accomplish meditation in this place, we have actually changed the energy of that place. We can walk by it and allow ourselves to feel that the energy really has changed.

This is alchemy, the actual change in a physical space caused by spiritual intent.

Alchemy in the mental realms occurs when we seek the silence and transmute our thoughts. So we begin with sacred space and enter into the inner calmness. We then go to work standing guard, transmuting thought and feeing until we reach the Great Silence. And once, through inner work, we have remembered how to reach the Great Silence, we begin to apply this discipline in the Now — in every moment of every day.

When we start to go into deep silence, there will be a feeling of resistance. If we realize that this feeling is a temptation to procrastinate, then we know that this feeling needs to be transmuted.

So, for example, we may remember that we need to make a phone call or feed the dog or balance the checkbook. So we then realize that, of course, all of these things must be done. But right now we are learning not to participate in these thoughts. We are realizing that these thoughts and feelings, which have misled us for so long, are attempting to take us out of the Now. So we stop going along with them.

The best permanent solution I have ever experienced is to be in the great alchemy of lifting up and transmuting these energies, as they seek to intrude, back to their perfect form and color.

So, to sum it up: When we go into this place of silence, the outer/lower mind tries to intrude. But we can identify the thoughtforms of the outer mind and learn to “tag” them when their energy intrudes.

And once we have identified them, we can stop them. For example, we can ask God to take the thoughtform and send it up to the Light. If we do this long enough, this transmutation process will actually become an auto-response to the thought patterns of the outer mind.

If the thoughts are stopped, we can go into a place of true silence. The Light is silent. Peace is silent. We have to move into the silence Now. For there is no other time but Now. We can only be in the silence if we are in the Now. If we are not in the Now, we are out of the silence.

The lower mind is not in charge. It just wants to be. But the analytical mind was actually created for the purpose of carrying out, in physical reality, the commands of the intuitive God Center within each one of us. If we recognize the thought forms and feelings of the lower mind, we have free will and choice. If we don’t recognize them, then we have no choice.

This Now, which is within the heart, is the sacred space of the temple within. This is the place at which we can reach Zero Point and create. We can actually command thought through our feeling center and qualify the particles to act. This is the alchemical act of precipitation. From this point, there is no question as to what we are, what we are becoming. We have willed it; it is as certain as knowing who is coming to dinner because we have invited them to dinner. When we create something at this level, we simply expect it to show up in the manifestation plane.

This is important. Expecting what we create to show up is energy brought into manifestation. It is like looking at the thunderclouds and knowing that it will rain. There is no question.

The laws of Alchemy say to “become the accomplished desire,” to feel it, to be it. When we become the accomplished desire, and do not participate with doubt and sustain the application, we precipitate the desire.

When we command the desire through being centered, we literally command the particles that compose matter to act. This is alchemy — the transmutation of thought into the material plane.

We will be tempted to believe, through the action of doubt, that the accomplished desire will not show up or manifest — that the process didn’t work. But the truth is always that if we don’t participate with doubt, fear, or worry, we will experience what we are intending to manifest. There is a delay or response time — it could be seconds, minutes, or days, depending on the amount of knowing that was applied to the manifestation and our level of previous attainment — but it must happen.

The more you apply these universal laws, the quicker things come into manifestation. But we never wait for the manifestation, for this would mean it has not yet happened. No matter what we may think, God within has acted, and it is up to us to hold this knowing.

In this space/time between universal and manifest — before the precipitation — it is important to transmute all permutations of the lower mind, and this means any feelings or thoughts that relate to doubt, fear, or worry.

All lower things, when raised, pass through the violet flame. These thoughts can be eliminated by sending them through the violet flame, transmuting them, and staying in the place with the accomplished desire. The accomplished desire will then manifest.

This is alchemy. It is how it can be used to manifest the Creation in the sacred space in the temple. We are all temples with sacred space. We can all transmute our feelings and create our desires through this application of alchemy.

We can move dimensionally into ascension through this same application. This is the greatest alchemy of all, to ascend. We do not need workshops, or teachers, or temples any more. We need only to remember what we have always known. We enter into this knowing in The Great Silence.

Julia: Do you have any thoughts in closing?

Thomas: Anyone can create and sustain sacred space. We are all equal. You can remember to transmute the outer or lower mind that will seek to intrude. Whatever you need is here through the application of these Universal Laws.

These things of God are here for our use. You must learn to become disciplined to apply them. Our desires will change from wanting what we want to wanting what we need. We will be again in the dance of life.

We are all here to serve. If you know it, that’s great. If you do it, that’s even better.

For some of us, the ascension process makes us want to run away. For others, we ask what we can do to be of service.

If you are a priest or priestess — someone who understands the Light and Silence — then hold this Love Light of Truth in service so that it is available for those that are moving into this consciousness.

Thomas Morton awakened spiritually at an early age and has been in service ever since. His life has been focused on healing the planet’s energies. To that end he works with both beginners and advanced lightworkers, and travels the world, speaking to groups and working directly with the Earth’s grid.

New Year’s Super Moon

The full moon appears at 9:24 pm on January 1. It’s a super moon, close to the earth and energetically intense. Many of the planets are placed in feminine signs, and there are two Grand Trines in water (emotion), indicating harmonious motion through life and calmer emotions.
The first full moon in January is called the Wolf Moon, referring to the stamina and strength of the wolf, which is needed in times of cold and difficulty. The wolf pack is based on the matriarchy with a female wolf that leads as the alpha. (This is a very feminine year, beginning with a full moon and 12 full moons to follow. The original calendars, based on feminine, earth energy, contained 13 moons.)

The Sun is in Capricorn, an earth sign represented by the goat, who can ascend to great heights. Sun (life, outer world) conjuncts Venus (love, beauty) and Pluto (power of transmutation, underworld.) Through love (Venus), it may be possible to use power (Pluto) to transform our world. (Of course, this works best by focusing on the heart.)

Moon (inner world, emotions) is placed in Cancer, the mother of the oceans and life. The Moon trines (harmonious) Mars (assertion, male energy), Jupiter (good fortune), and Neptune (illusion, mysticism, dreaming). The beautiful trines encourage flowing emotion, harmony and good fortune with action, and creative dreaming (manifesting.) (After weeks of charts filled with fire, the full moon chart is restful.)

Mercury (communications, mind) sits in Sagittarius. It trines Uranus, forming a harmonious aspect between the lower (Mercury) and higher, cosmic mind (Uranus). It’s possible to receive information for greater understanding of self and the world. (It’s important to discern between the ego and inner self as Mercury squares Neptune, which can distort the “read”.)

Venus (love, beauty) in Capricorn conjuncts Saturn (karma, limitation), which can make love (temporarily) feel heavy and/or difficult. Venus also conjuncts the Sun, which is uplifting, and it conjuncts (close to) Pluto, which can give the power to transmute old limitations into a new, more powerful outlook on life.

Mars (male, assertion) is conjunct (close to) Jupiter in Scorpio. If the emotional intensity of Mars in Scorpio is used properly, it can flow through limitations/blocks and bring good fortune. Mars also trines (harmonious) Neptune (mysticism, illusion), heightening sensitivity and creativity. (It’s another wonderful aspect for manifestation.)

Jupiter (good fortune, benevolence) trines Neptune (mysticism, illusion), offering positive, creative energy. The aspect increases our desire for magical, mystical experience, and it offers an aura of hopefulness about life. Jupiter also trines Uranus (new age, quantum field), opening our consciousness to innovative and positive ideas.

Fruition, fertility, and growth are conferred by the full moon. With most of the planets in feminine signs (water and earth), it is a chart for growth of emotions, hope, and creativity. It’s a lovely way to begin the year!

New Moon Forecast

As we move into the New Age, we continue our journey into the unknown. Next week’s New Moon will be a micro-moon, which means it’s farther from the earth than usual. We tend to experience the void, a point of emptiness or new beginnings at the New Moon, and it will be amplified by other factors in the chart.

The New Moon, Full Moon, solstices, equinoxes, and eclipses are openings in the universal energy—times that offer the opportunity to receive and integrate greater knowledge. Each door holds an occult meaning. For example, the New Moon is void, the time of beginnings, and the Full Moon is the time of fruition.

The New Moon on Monday, December 18 features seven planets in fire—and five in Sagittarius, the sign of the archer. With Mercury in retrograde in Sagittarius along with four additional planets, it’s a time to redefine beliefs and realign our direction.

Sun, Moon, Venus, and Saturn conjunct (close to) Galactic Center. It’s helpful to see Galactic Center as the eye of the Milky Way that transmits light, higher information, and inspiration. Light from this distance speaks of the future, and it can take time to read and integrate the information from the “download”. (It would be helpful to take an hour for meditation.)

Focus on the future also appears through five powerful trines between Sun (life), Moon (inner self), Venus (love), and Saturn (time/karma) and Uranus (awakening, sudden change.) Trines are harmonious and promote the creation of “good” things. Uranus also represents the New Age and Quantum Change. It can transmit ideas and images, which are useful in creating a spiritually aligned future.

Mercury remains retrograde until December 22, increasing the likelihood that we will have to wait before processing the “divine” information from Galactic Center. The retrograde makes precise tasks difficult, and it’s important to slow down—and use intuition. (The Higher Mind is intuition, balanced by reason, and it’s part of the lesson of Mercury retrograde.)

Venus in Sagittarius has a relaxed view about love. It’s a free spirited energy that prefers nature and conversation. Mercury (communications) and Venus (love) squares Neptune, clouding our understanding and creating illusion. The aspect can intensify beauty and mysticism—or highlight the negative side of the imagination.

Jupiter

Mars (male, assertion) is placed in Scorpio, and it is exalted in this sign. It gives a warrior like quality to cut through the superfluous and create powerful outcomes. Mars is conjunct Jupiter (expansion, good fortune). It’s a benevolent aspect, increasing success and desire for physical activities.

Mars and Jupiter trine Neptune (mysticism, illusion), which can bring the benefit of higher emotions along with glimpses of calm, bliss, and love. These qualities along with spirituality belong the elation of mysticism.

Sun, Moon, and Venus are conjunct Saturn. Saturn can bring a sense of heaviness along with unhappy memories from the past. Saturn rules time and karma; it can make life seem heavy. (There are many uplifting aspects in the chart. The Saturn aspect will pass in a week or two.)

Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn square Chiron, the wounded healer. This placement will likely bring wounds to the surface. Squares with Chiron rarely offer solutions; they reveal the source of patterns and pain. (We may receive insights for healing through aspects with Galactic Center and Uranus—after all they represent the cosmic field.)

Both the past (Saturn, Chiron) and the future (Uranus, Galactic Center) appear strongly in this chart. The lesson lies in letting go of the pain of the past, releasing patterns, and absorbing the energies of a new world in the making. The potential lies in creative applications of new and unknown energies.

Notes:

  1. It’s important to rest and reflect with Mercury in retrograde. Use intuition to navigate when life feels confusing. Rest when it feels overwhelming. (Retrogrades are not about pushing into the future.)
  2. We will receive intuitive information about the future, the inner self, and cosmic awakening–particularly if we’re aware and meditate. Galactic Center will transmit this information around the time of the New Moon. (It will probably feel more intense on Monday, the day of the New Moon.)
  3. Mars (male energy) and Jupiter (expansion) can help with completing tasks, creating a path to success, and working with the physical body.
  4. Neptune (illusion, mysticism) continues to cloud the landscape with illusion and misdirected imagination. Hold the thought or belief for a week or so–and see if it’s true.
  5. It’s easy to feel tired or “down” with Saturn in conjunction with many planets. It may feel depressing, but it’s not. We’ll receive much energy and information for a positive future. The aspect will pass before Christmas, and our spirits will lift.

Finding Balance

It’s challenging to stay peaceful, and balanced when the energies of the world change several times each day or week. Empaths and healers feel the world turn and surge with global events and strong emotions of mass consciousness. We also feel the people around us–as well as mass consciousness.

The “light” energy amplifies everything. The energy is challenging, and it’s important to tap into the inner self on a regular basis to find our way.  Otherwise, we lose touch with the inner self, which acts as a light on the path.

Here are a few tips:

  1. Part of the influx of light is known as the acceleration and amplification. It makes time seem to pass more quickly, and we feel everything more—if we continue our soul work. There is a good reason for it. When we feel ourselves and others more, it amplifies everything in our system—the positive and the negative. When our negative emotions and thoughts feel stronger, we want to change them. When our positive emotions become more intense, we seek this state. In other words, the strong currents of emotions and thought can lead to our higher self.
  2. When we choose the inner self, we automatically move into a higher vibration. Higher vibrations displace lower vibrations. When we focus on love and peace, the emotions flow through every level of our consciousness; they flood body, mind, and soul. (This teaches persistence and devotion because the impact and level of higher emotion increases with significant work. It also lifts above lower world emotions and feelings.)
  3. Every few hours, there is a surge and ebb of global emotion and thought. If we know the surge or ebb of energy and emotion comes from the outer world, we can seek the solace of the inner self. We can focus on love, forgiveness, or simply see a better world. (Anything with a higher vibration will do.) Becoming conscious of the input of lower consciousness helps in understanding how our emotions and thoughts are influenced by others.
  4. We are touched by everyone’s energy. It’s part of awakening.  As we gain awareness of this, we can shield, alter our relationships, or choose to release specific people in life. Ultimately, we have to choose people who help lift our vibrations and/or look at others with compassion. (We’re also learning to speak from the heart, and this requires time and patience.)
  5. Freedom comes from moderating our impulses and emotions by becoming incredibly aware of energy. Our true source of energy comes from the inner self and the universe. It’s necessary to cultivate it to have the strength and insight to navigate through life.

NOTE: If you are practicing meditation daily, you’ve probably noticed how moods and emotions alter throughout a given day. The lower moods appear and disappear during the day, so it’s helpful to observe them. You also learn that the inner self brings stability, grounding, and focus—as well as peace and love.

Simple, Difficult Lessons

The biggest lessons often involve daily life. They are about becoming conscious during repetitious and emotional activities. The lessons also have to do with our perception of light–and the world. (They also teach us how to blend the current self and the higher self in many aspects of life.)

If you’re encountering these lessons and feelings, it simply means you are awakening and moving into a higher level of self-development. Observe often and love yourself for your courage and fortitude!

  1. Moving more deeply into trust. Trust that the universe is taking care of you. Your higher self can always find the path and lead you into a place of peace, safety, and comfort. (When life is difficult, move into the inner self. Listen to your intuition. Make an active effort based on your inner voice, heart, or another feeling.)
  2. Your light is growing. You feel more of it when you meditate, and you find your light when you’re upset. Some days, everything falls into place. You find easier to understand other people’s point of view—even when you don’t agree. You know everything is changing for the better despite how the world might appear. (It takes time for spiritual creations to move into form.)
  3. Invisible connections. When you meditate, you feel others who are doing the same. Periodically, you sense the light of many other people in the world. Love and light flow through you. You think about a small problem, and someone (or something) provides the answer.
  4. Soul Contracts. People are moving in and out of your life. A soul contract is an agreement to meet a specific person during this lifetime. It includes children, spouses, parents, friends, and enemies. There is always a strong pull. Generally, it’s about resolving issues, growing into greater love, offering support, and working through emotions (both good and bad). It’s an almost inexplicable attraction/repulsion between individuals. (In soul contracts, one person may grow, and the other doesn’t move into love. Growth can also come from negative people, which results in creating boundaries. You may also move into greater love and strength. Regardless, there is always a feeling of “fate”.
  5. Accept the alternating energies. Nothing moves or happens as it did in the past. The sun and moon are often on a different course. Patterns of nature and the weather are changing. Overall, the changes can aid with spiritual growth because you cannot repeat the same actions at the same time every day. But you can hold fast to your practices. You can send light to others and the world. (Sleeping and eating patterns are changing. Listen within for guidance.)
  6. Listen with your heart. Softer emotions are replacing anger, fear, and judgement. You’re learning to pause before speaking. You’re beginning to realize how life moves in a different rhythm when you listen and respond. You experience an uplifting sensation of happiness when acting on your inner instruction.
  7. Sense the invisible world. You have moments of knowing. Beneath the appearance of the physical world, energy moves. It’s invisible and powerful. It speaks through intuition, and you’re tapping into it. You realize that person didn’t mean what they said, or the news is diverting your attention. You open the window and feel nature calling to you. You suddenly know who will call you or how the day will move. You know how to find a higher vibration (some of the time) and shift the circumstances that are flowing around you.

Full Moon Forecast

November’s full moon on the 4th is particularly lovely, and this forecast touches on spiritual vision and the use of will. In metaphysics, love, will, and power are three qualities, which are developed on the path of light and love. (Venus is very present in this chart, so love is provided—if we tap into it.) Overall, the chart presents beautiful, uplifting energy along with the ever present challenges, which can create both growth and change.

Sun (life) in Scorpio heightens vision, strength, and magnetism. Scorpio is water, representing emotion and mysterious intuitive insights. Moon in Taurus accentuates persistence, will, discipline, and the ability to put concepts into physical form. It is an earth sign, heightening our ability to shape matter through consciousness in the physical world.

Mercury (thought, communications) is placed in Scorpio, and it expands our power to perceive and communicate spiritual mysteries and information. It sheds light on the hidden world and brings information to the surface. This placement can aid in discerning the relationship between feelings and thoughts.

Venus (love, beauty, relationships) is beautifully placed in Libra. Both Taurus and Libra are ruled by Venus, so we may glimpse moments of  the true feeling of harmony and love in relationships, or we may notice disharmony. (In moments of disharmony, we can see the opposite of our experience. When experiencing harmony, we can expand the feelings.) Harmony and love tend to increase beauty and wealth.

Mars (action, male) sits in Libra, creating balance between the female and male principals in life. It also bestows the “feeling” of how life could look and feel if we embraced harmony, beautify, and balance. With Mars in Libra, an air sign, we may perceive needed changes on a mental or emotional level but lack the energy to make alterations. It’s helpful to observe and wait a day or two before pushing into small changes.

Jupiter (good fortune, expansion) is placed in Scorpio. Like the full moon, it can shed light on the darkness. Good fortune is often created by finding our gifts, hidden in the darkness of the past, and finding the bravery to step forward on a new path. Growth also comes from compassion, and seeing/creating goodness for others. It’s how we see light in the dark.

Aspects

Aspects speak of the geometry between planets, the shapes and energies that flow between them. Aspects with the inner planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter) affect our personal life. Outer planets speak of group consciousness, energies, and global change.

Sun in Scorpio conjuncts (close to) Jupiter (expansion, growth), and it aids in understanding how to travel through our personal darkness to find light, grace, and redemption. Sun trines (harmonious) Neptune in Pisces, opening the door to mystical realizations and increasing the possibility of seeing through illusion.

Moon in Taurus is in opposition (2 opposite energies) to Jupiter in Scorpio. Our desire to build and create a new life (Moon) is opposed to our need to see beneath the surface of life (Jupiter). In spiritual work, it is necessary to see how we block and oppose our inner desires—or recognize such forces in our lives. After this realization, life often becomes more supportive. (Moon also trines Pluto in Capricorn, increasing our ability to become resourceful and find answers.)

Venus conjuncts (close to) Jupiter, indicating love of self can lead us through the darkness and into exceptional growth. Venus opposes (2 opposite energies) Uranus, which can cause strong, erratic emotions and sudden change. The desire to experience life in a particular way (Uranus) and the need to love and understand relationships on a deeper level conflicted in this position. (Think, meditate, and wait to act.) Venus also square Pluto, which creates tension about the use of power and can bring subconscious memories to the surface. (Focus on love, and the conflicts will fade.)

Mars (male, assertion) squares (tension) Pluto (underworld, transmutation). It covers the topics of sex and power, which have appeared everywhere in the past few weeks. Of course, the aspect includes larger energies. It’s about using our power wisely and kindly—and remembering that the best world changes come from love, compassion, and vision.

Jupiter (good fortune) opposes Uranus (awakening, sudden change). We’ll move between 2 sets of energy with this aspect. Jupiter wants a slow, deep look at life, and Uranus desires a huge burst of energy directed into the new world. Jupiter trines (harmonious) Neptune, asking us to exchange negative emotions for mystical love; it can also enhance dreams. (Journal them.)

Saturn (time, karma) trines (harmonious) Uranus (awakening, change), offering help with the current transition from the Piscean and Aquarian Ages. It helps in integrating the old and new concepts of both world.

Mercury (mind) trines (harmonious) Chiron (the wounded healer), which helps in using the mind to transcend old wounds. Saturn (time, karma) squares (tension) Chiron, and it brings old memories and pain to the surface. Use the mind to create possibilities such as feelings and visuals that travel in the opposite direction. This action brings in new energies that lift the soul and heal the body.
