Full Moon Forecast: The Hunter’s Moon

October’s Full Moon is called the Hunter’s Moon by Native Americans because it’s the last moon before the arrival of winter.  The Full Moon appears on Wed, October 20 at 10:57 am. (Energy and emotion are heightened by the full moon, and they are helpful in the creation and expression of dreams.)

The Sun is placed on Libra 28, and the Sabian Symbol for the degree, according to Lynda Hill, is “A Man Alone in Deep Gloom. Unnoticed, Angels Are Coming to His Aid.” In metaphysics, it’s said, “At our darkest moments, there are more for us (in the invisible world) than there are against us.” The symbol may speak of alleviating the heaviness associated with the past 2 years, or it may speak to us about our personal battles. In either case, we cultivate the light of the unknown through meditation, faith, and alignment with the inner self. Through small perceptions, we ignite and engage the larger and higher forces of the unseen world.

Sun conjuncts Mars (assertion, overall energy), which brings strength, energy, and self-confidence. It gives a push, increasing our ability for action and motion. Sun trines Jupiter (good fortune), and it bestows self-confidence, optimism, and a positive attitude. Sun squares Saturn (limitation, time) asks for patience and determination to overcome limitations of the past. (It’s important to push through old, negative feelings and repeat a task many times—if necessary.)

The Moon is a placed in Aries, a passionate and active fire sign. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac; it encourages self-expression and new beginnings.  Fire brings passion and desire, which are particularly powerful when combined with a spiritual purpose such as self-improvement or development of inner gifts.

Moon opposes Mars (action, energy), meaning our moods and emotions can conflict with right action. It’s important to find a “neutral” point whenever possible and release irritations. The aspect particularly asks for spiritually aligned goals and actions to avoid egoic expressions.

In past months, retrograde planets prevented achievement and/or slowed expression of desires and projects. Currently, Mercury (communications), Jupiter (good fortune), and Pluto (subconscious, transformation) are direct. It’s a bit like receiving a burst of energy from the universe.

Mercury (communications, mind) is direct in Libra, encouraging beautiful expression of the inner self through beauty and harmony as well as speaking, writing, and communication via the internet. Mercury trines Saturn (karma, time, structure), encouraging attention to detail, planning for the future, and grasping the importance of long-term goals and dreams.

Venus (love, relationships) is in Sagittarius, a light-hearted fire sign. When Venus is in Sagittarius, life becomes fun, fiery, and exciting. The placement encourages optimism, exploring life, and responding to our inner desires to feel the sensations and motion of life. Venus squares Neptune (mysticism, idealism) increases sensitivity, awareness of beauty and the sublime, and difficulty in discerning between illusion and truth.

Mars (action, energy) in Libra prefers action through the air waves including internet, broadcasts, speaking, and intuitive work—particularly with a beautiful, harmonious tone. Mars trines Jupiter is a wonderful aspect, bringing a wave of positive energy. However, this aspect tends to work best with a positive kind attitude, and it can also create success and ignite desires.

Jupiter (good fortune) and Saturn (limitation, karma) are in Aquarius, the somewhat erratic and unusual sign ruling electronics, the quantum field, the collective, and big change. Jupiter and Saturn square (tension) Uranus, which contains similar energy to the sign of Aquarius—but is currently in Taurus, an earth sign ruling the financial area of life and the physical aspects (trees, flowers, oceans, etc.) of the planet. The aspect grows stronger until December 23 for the third and last time this year.

Sun, Moon, and Mars square (tension) Pluto (underworld, subconscious). Sun (life) square Pluto (subconscious, transformation) inflates the ego and need to control along with a larger lesson of discovering why we have the need and surrendering it to the universe. Moon square Pluto reveals emotional power struggles and conflicts, so we can move beyond them. Mars square Pluto gives strength to ambition and assertiveness. Again, it’s important to direct the energy in a positive sense.

Tips

  1. Overall, the chart has many mystical aspects, which deliver waves of positive energy and open our souls to the benevolent forces of the Divine.
  2. The direct motion of three planets, including Mercury, helps with motivation and attainment of desires and goals.
  3. There are aspects and placements such as Venus in Sagittarius and Sun trine Jupiter, which are uplifting and optimistic.
  4. As with every chart, there are conflicting messages and feelings, which are expressed through aspects with Saturn (time, limitation, karma). Overcoming the feelings of the past is always part of creating a better future. Also, it’s good to deal with conflicting feelings and shining light on them

Shifts in Time

Many shifts are taking place, particularly with the New Moon/Lion’s Gate Cycle.  Everyone is passing through a number of small (and large) realizations about life, energy, and the cosmos at large. The energy is intense and changing at a rapid rate. When we understand what it happening and how it affects us, we move more quickly into a higher level of light.

  1. The universe is revealing the truth about our lives, enlarging our perception, and exposing the world at large. At this juncture, the big reveal comes in a strange way. We may perceive higher frequencies and suddenly know how the new, “higher” frequency reality will feel. We may feel dismayed by violence, discrimination, or the world-at-large. We may have moments of realization about how our lives need expansion, the energy of other people, and the need to align with our inner identity. We may feel the weight of mass consciousness–or perceive the immense power of love and meditation on the world. (For those who are more awakened, we may feel surprised when we observe instead of reacting–or resist the push/pull effect of this particular time.)
  2. The shift affects time. As we move into awakening, we mitigate karma. When we transmute karma, our timelines (or memories of this and other lives) alter–simply because we no longer “vibrate” with these types of energy.
  3. Flashes of memories and rapid thought at bedtime are interspersed with periods of deep sleep. The flashes of memories relate to a process of clearing and cleansing our energies throughout this lifetime. The periods of deep sleep relate to healing and discovering more of our true identity–the inner self.
  4. Emotions and the energetic flow of the body change with awakening. We may feel very tired one day and energized on the following day. Additionally, dreams may reveal our lack of confidence, incorrect perceptions, or our ability to change the entire picture through connection with the inner self. (Many of our personal issues can relate to our connection with world consciousness. For example, grief connects us with people who are grieving. A feeling of lack leads to connection with others, who feel they do not have enough. Part of the issue involves changing our image of the world through improvement of personal feelings and vision of the world.)
  5. The flow of life changes on a frequent basis. The energy shifts and feels differently with solar flares, shifts in the geo-magnetic field, and astrological events. As we become more connected, we feel the energy of world events on a deeper level. The seasons and positions of the sun and moon are changing. We are becoming accustomed to “not” knowing how life will feel, which can put us in the flow.
  6. Relationships are changing. As we grow, we continue to move into relationships with people who want to evolve. Sometimes, we simply lack the energy to persist with relationships based on negativity and/or lower energies. We’re also releasing soul contracts, which are agreements to interact in a specific way. (Groups of people with higher frequencies will come together on a conscious level.)
  7. We’re learning to live from the heart, which means intuitively feeling, hearing, and seeing information. It’s how we perceive the invisible and spiritual world, listen to the earth, and evolve. It’s also how we perceive the currents of our thoughts and feelings, which influence manifestation to a great degree.

July New Moon

July’s New Moon comes on July 9 at 9:16 pm, and it brings fruitfulness with the motion of flowing trees, blue lakes, and bright, green mountains. With Sun and Moon in Cancer, a fertile water sign, it is the time to dream of harvests—the fruit of the soul and reward of personal effort. The New Moon is the time for planning for the ensuing 28-day moon cycle, releasing what is not needed, and briefly connecting with the unseen world to find direction. Sun and Moon sit in Cancer, the feminine water sign ruling the home, emotions, and the sea.

While summer lingers, there is a sensation of returning to the old life, but the planets denote a change. Amidst the summer retrograde of outer planets, five planets–Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter–and two asteroids (Vesta and Ceres) will soon move into different signs. According to astrologer Mark Borax, it “is about twice as many as normally switch signs in a month, and is heaven’s way of shaking things up.” Additionally, there will be a “yod” or finger of God as Mars forms a quincunx with Neptune and Pluto. The yod activates the mystic, sensitive vibrations of Neptune and the hidden resources and gifts, which are discovered through positive alignment with Plutonian energies. The changing of planets into different signs and the finger of God  occur from the middle to the latter part of July.

As we delve into personal issues for another week or so, the universe is preparing larger changes–and perhaps an acceleration. At the moment, Sun (life) and Moon (moods) trine Neptune (mysticism, idealism) offers harmonious, dreamy energy that heightens intuition and emotions in a pleasant way.  Sun/Moon trine Neptune evokes the spiritual nature, bringing answers through meditation, prayer, and faith. It can open the door to the mysterious, unseen world, and it brings optimism and hope. Sun/Moon sextile Uranus (unexpected change, quantum field) encourages new approaches to life, a sense of excitement, and a desire for change. It’s a good time to create new routines or to see life from a new perspective. (It widens the lens of perception.)

It’s a particularly fertile New Moon that can bring life to creative ideas and dreams. (In pagan times, marriage often took place in the latter part of June because of the fertility conferred by the sign of Cancer.) It’s a mixed chart with emphasis on home life, relationships, and emotions. With Venus and Mars in Leo, it can enhance ideas, playfulness, and the desires of heart. Various aspects in the chart incite conflicting feelings, which can offer a push forward in life or misunderstanding. The key lies in awareness of feelings and their fleeting nature.

Sun/Moon are in opposition to Pluto (underworld, transformation), which is definitely a test or a trial, depending on the placement of consciousness. Sun opposes Pluto, which tends to increase stubbornness, obsession, and desire to succeed at all costs—or egoic patterns, which are found beneath the surface and subconscious. When we discover the limiting nature of old patterns it’s wise to change our reactions and find flexibility to create a new flow of life. (These aspects intensify emotions and mood swings. Focus on the heart.)

Mercury in Gemini heightens the intellect, evoking curiosity, and desire for expression. Mercury trines (harmonious) Jupiter (expansion, good fortune), bringing good news, optimism, and favoring short journeys. It increases good luck and happiness. Mercury squares (tension) Neptune (mysticism/idealism). The square tends to cloud our vision and cause confusion with thoughts.

Venus (beauty, art, feminine) and Mars (male, overall energy, drive) are placed in Leo, a passionate fire sign that rules the heart. Venus in Leo shines, aiding with opening the heart, enhancing beauty and appearance. Mars in Leo increases the desire to take action and steps to success. Venus and Mars are conjunct (close), heightening the Leo energy and overall level of passion. There’s a beautiful connection, which can unite the feminine/masculine and yin/yang sides of the self.

Venus and Mars are in opposition to Saturn (limitation, karma). When Venus opposes Saturn, it may elicit self-doubt, fluctuating emotions, and sensitivity to criticism (and negative thoughts) from other people.  Venus and Mars square Uranus (quantum field/sudden change). These aspects affect personal relationships, causing fluctuation and desire for change. Mars’ aspects with Saturn and Uranus can feel upsetting, but the energy of the square can also aid in accomplishing long term goals and moving forward on the path. (The Venus/Mars aspects cause rapidly changing emotions and may create drama.)

Jupiter is moving retrograde into the first degrees of Pisces. It offers benevolence, optimism, and good fortune for the moment. Saturn is placed in Aquarius, and it continues to square Uranus in Taurus. The square causes instability between the structures of the “old” world and the appearance of the new world. It may affect recent weather and earth changes.

Tips

  1. With Sun (life) and Moon (moods) trine Neptune (mysticism, idealism), it’s a wonderful time to contemplate the Divine. We particularly benefit from meditation, higher guidance, and following intuition.
  2. Sun/Moon oppose Pluto, revealing old patterns and repetition in life. Become flexible and willing to move into a new way of life. (Visualize the new way of life when patterns reveal themselves.)
  3. Mercury is well placed in Gemini, which stimulates thought and communication. Mercury trines Jupiter, which favors positive communication. In a contradictory fashion, Mercury squares Neptune, which clouds and slows thought. (Clear thought can be achieved with effort.)
  4. Venus and Mars are warm and fiery in their placement in Leo, but they form limiting aspects with Saturn and Uranus. Aspects with Saturn draw awareness to negativity from other people in our lives, and aspects with Uranus can cause pressure or erratic behavior. There can be drama or swings in emotion.
  5. The planetary patterns give strength, optimism, and spiritual insight. They also give erratic energy, reveal patterns, and cause sensitivity. Perhaps, we’re asked to take a strong look at our personal life before moving into another phase, which will bring development in our spiritual and physical life.

Creating Change through Visualization

1) Begin with a positive and courageous attitude. It doesn’t matter if you tried and failed in the past. Your perseverance coupled with practice will change your life. In time, you’ll recognize patterns of lower emotion and thought. You’ll transcend them with positive imagery and thought. The beliefs will alter with practice. (It’s good to know this is a particularly good time for creative change. The planets and New Year support it. Many people are awakening and changing at this time, and their energy lends support with your efforts.)

2) When you have a wonderful day and/or a successful practice, compliment yourself. Notice your good work. Notice how you feel. In time, this will help you to discern when you are/are not connected. This teaches volumes about connection with your heart. Build yourself up for making the effort. (If you miss one day, compliment yourself for the previous six days of practice.)

3) Whether or not you feel connected in meditation, believe it is working. Every time you practice meditation, you are literally collecting energy and light. The energy builds over time. Trust in the effort. An opportunity for change will come if you stay with the practice.) Believe the universe is working with you.

4) Everyone has created a big, positive change—at least once. Travel through your memories and choose one of these times to revisit. Relive the memory and feel the burst of resolve and courage, which resulted in accomplishment. You can use this energy again (simply by remembering it.)

5) Do work with your intuitions. Intuitions can be grouped into areas–true and false. Keep a list. Refrain from acting on the “false” intuitions, and act more on the “true” list. (It’s important to know you will receive new intuitions and dreams whenever you reach a higher energy level. It takes time to discern true from false—and the same is true with dreams.)

6) Spend time with people on a higher energy level. Find friends who encourage you and believe in you. When others see the good in you, you feel and believe it. (You don’t discuss your manifestation, but you do enjoy the friendship.)

7) Raise your vibrations by listening to lectures or meditations by teachers on a higher level and/or reading spiritual works. It’s good to read a few spiritual words before bed and visualize awakening in a rested state. (If you experienced a turbulent day, you can actually see everything as better in 48 hours. It usually works.)

If you truly practice visualization, you’ll learn how to project positive energy. You’ll learn to change your inner visuals of negativity to the positive, and you can do it for others. More importantly, you’ll find the sensation of your inner self, which always sees life in a very different and more perfect way.

Awakening and The True Self

Awakening is associated with learning about the true presence. It is a process, a method of attuning to the direction of the true presence. There are several steps of the process. The first involves believing and knowing the true self is there.  Rest assured that the true self hears and feels our desire  By recognizing and expanding moments of connection—such as happiness, peace, or joy—we connect more deeply.

A feeling of stillness and peace comes with the true presence. Meditation develops the feeling of presence. In meditation, the true presence mediates between our earthly presence and the universe at large. It connects us to a larger paradigm of reality with universal truths, which are much larger than the laws of “real life.” For example, we can send light or love to a person, without knowing where they are, and the person can receive it instantaneously. (This is transmittal—a method of sharing one’s spiritual truth or abilities.)

One of the indications of success with meditation and energetic practices is the desire for higher vibrations. The feeling of universal connection—the true self—delivers light, expanded possibility, and a deep feeling of love. By culturing and developing this relationship, inner guidance is provided over time.

Awakening is much more than meditating. In my experience, meditation helped in developing an inner calm and a quiet, peaceful feeling. My intuitive abilities also increased. But true awakening came when I saw the inner light in every particle of life. I could see how light lies beneath the structure of every object on the earth–and how the fibers were guided perfectly by the light above. The One Light appeared in many forms. (It’s fascinating to note that the inner light of nature responds to our individual light.) Soon after, I found a teacher in wolves—and I learned to see life in a different way.

After awakening, life is the same. But we perceive it in a different light. We become aware of the true self, which alters our way of understanding life.

In my practice as a teacher, I’ve watched students experience the process of awakening although their work may have begun with a physical problem such as abundance, relationships, or physical pain. Over time, awakening has come to many of them—and manifested as a deep understanding and ability with universal forces. (It does not come to everyone. Some people simply want to feel better or to have a better life. Others devote themselves to sensing the spiritual energy beneath the practices. But awakening does come to those who seek it with heart, body, and soul.)

  • Everyone has a true presence. We’ve all felt it.
  • The True Presence holds the qualities of the soul. It connects us with the universe, the One in All.
  • The level of energy—both physical and spiritual—affects our ability to tap into our true presence. Higher vibrations help in identifying this presence.
  • Meditation brings about connection with soul qualities. It can increase our light level.
  • All spiritual work is part of finding the True Self.
  • Connection with the spiritual self is often the component that makes manifestation work.
  • There is a mysterious, unknown quality in spiritual work. We pursue stepping into the unknown.

Recognizing Your True Self

  • Everyone has had moments of joy, a smooth current of positive happenings in life, strong (correct) intuitions, a sudden knowing of an answer, or unexpected help. A deep connection with nature can also indicate the presence of the true self as well as a spiritual insight or experience. In a sense, we release the immediacy of the demands of ordinary life and move into a non-ordinary life.
  • The heart speaks to us about the true self through our deep desires. What attracts us with a sensation of love and heightened spirituality? What gives an energized state and a deeper feeling of connection with the inner presence?
  • Observation is very helpful in finding the true self. In morning, spend a few minutes observing the actions of the routine. Observe the self while driving a car. Observe conversations. Who is observing? (Your True Presence observes.)  According to quantum physics, when an observer is added to an experiment, the photons change their route. Light responds to an observer. Imagine looking in the mirror. Notice your good qualities. Become aware of your body as you look into the mirror. Imagine you are the person in the mirror, and you are looking at your face and body. Who’s observing?  Your True Self or true presence is always observing. It is always there in the totality of your being. There is always a part of you with a loving presence, which is connected to the universe at large. This part of you is always awake.
  • We can think about the most illuminated periods of our lives. By focusing on them, we can recall the experience of connection. (This is known as the right use of memories.)
  • A feeling of the “unknown” is often associated with the true presence as are love and light. To some degree, the inner presence is experienced as the “unknown.” Mystery surrounds our journey into light and love. On this journey, we discover the light within the self–and how to integrate it.

Emotions

For those who are open, the New Age brings an increase of intuitive ability as a greater connection with the “all.” We feel the people around us with greater acuity along with sensing their thoughts and place of being. With awareness, this can become a wonderful learning experience. If we don’t know what we’re feeling, it can bring confusing and vacillating emotions.
Everyone “picks up” on the people around them. We also receive information about locations, timing, and objects. We often wander through life without awareness of the information supplied by our inner being. In a time of awakening, everyone, who desires it, can gain greater consciousness and clarity. (As we move into love, we become more connected.)
It’s also necessary to align with our inner self to perceive the catalyst behind our emotions. Are we suddenly angry or distraught–or are we perceiving the mood of others around us? It’s an important discernment in awakening. Otherwise, we move through life on the energies of others without truly perceiving our feelings, reactions–or how we are altered by the presence of others.

Emotion, which represents water, has many faces. It can be still and peaceful, wild and raging, or murky and dark. It connects streams, rivers, and oceans. It comes in waves. On a universal level, the element of water is magnetic; it is cool, calm, and wet. It is the force of emotion, intuition, persistence and devotion. Water can cleanse and calm. (Think of taking a shower or bath at the end of a long day.)

When we encounter challenging emotions, we can move into love or peace. In this way, the current of spiritual energy acts as a current that carries us through the river. We can also recognize the source of undesirable emotion, which opens the door for new possibilities. We can eliminate the source, see it in a different light, or create from a new perspective. It’s also helpful to realize that we always receive emotion from others, and our lives are colored by this. By understanding how and when it happens, we open the door for many new choices.

Here are a few tips.

  • The goal is to visualize the highest and best reality for everyone while seeing their flaws and tendencies accurately. It’s helpful to recall the positive qualities of a person, to identify their best characteristics by remembering what we like about them, which raises the overall vibration. (There is one exception. If a person consistently lowers our vibration, then we need distance.)
  • It’s important to know that we connect with lower mass consciousness when experiencing lower emotions. Lower mass consciousness amplifies our negative feelings. It’s helpful to ask for the presence of the inner self and to ask the universe for light.
  • When someone says hurtful or upsetting words, it’s important to notice our reaction. If we’re honest, then we know that we always have these feelings. It’s not just the other person. It’s our perpetual response. Sending light to our feelings and asking to experience life differently is often helpful.
  • When faced with drama, do the opposite. If we engage, then try withdrawing from the situation. If we usually withdraw, then step forward and continue the discussion softly. Remain kind.
  • Omit the blame. Forgive others for how they make us feel. On some level, we’ve chosen to be part of the situation, and we can either look at it as learning experience or as a victim.
  • In truth other people can make us feel good or bad, particularly if we’re not paying attention to our inner voice. For example, if someone is angry, depressed or physically ill, we usually feel tired after speaking or visiting with them. Forgive it all by learning when and how we can best interact with others. It’s our responsibility, not theirs.
  • Share the truth in fragments. When the other person is calm, make an observation from a detached point of view. Share a small piece of insight about the pattern. Do it from a place of love. No one can take it all in at one time.
  • Understand that everyone becomes temperamental when overwhelmed or tired. Rest often and wait before speaking. Go for a walk or practice yoga or meditation. We can remind ourselves that emotions and feelings don’t last very long.
  • Loving all aspects of life and seeing the light of other people (particularly in karmic relationships such as husband, wife, parents or child) is part of the path of the soul. Beneath the surface of everyone and everything, there is light. The light brings freedom and peace.

New Moon, New Year

The first New Moon of the New Year appears today. The New Moon chart reflects our current world in a fairly accurate manner. It depicts the desire for power, the flare of anger and mis-reads of energy, and it shows where our energies are on and off. But the stars and planets don’t compel an outcome. The planets “color” our reception of energy, and we have free will and choices as to our response and/or reaction.

As in every chart, there are mitigating factors, which offer opportunities and shifts in consciousness. The first two months of the year carry strong Uranian influences. Uranus is currently in Taurus, which is the earth and structures in physical form. The planet has 2 different faces. One face brings sudden, strange changes such as the events that occurred in the United States last week; the other face can be sublime as it is the quantum field. Uranus contains the quantum field, spiritual communication such as transmitting thoughts and energy, and aspects of light like spontaneous healing, miracles and the presence of angels.

Interestingly, our encounters with Uranus depend on the placement of consciousness. When collective consciousness swings low, we see and feel odd, negative events. When collective consciousness is high and focused on light, we experience a dispensation of spiritual energy. Ultimately, the outcome is a result of focused energy. (We can begin by becoming grateful of the good in life and pulling into the inner self where answers to the outside world tend to appear.) Creating positive outcomes can act an opportunity to come together and work with higher energies because Uranus can offer new, unique methods of energetic change.

Another positive force in this chart is Venus, planet of love. Placed in Capricorn, which is an earth sign, Venus trines Uranus, which opens our consciousness to new forms of love, finding love (including unconditional love) through new sensations and experiences, and sending/using love in original, unique methods and forms. Love mitigates and changes everything around it; it lifts energy into a higher place and opens the door to possibility.

By focusing on Venus, we can move into love and universal love. We can ask to learn how to apply love in new ways. We can tap into love to release resentments and frustrations. And we can ask universal love to show us how to love ourselves.

Here are a few of the strong aspects in the chart.

  1. Sun (life), Moon (emotions), and Mercury (communications) conjunct (close to) Pluto (underworld, transformation). Sun and Pluto in close position can indicate awareness of light and darkness. (The Sun is life, and Pluto can be the underworld or subconscious.) With observation, we can transcend the limitations of the aspect and move into wholeness. Moon conjunct Pluto can take resentment and unstable emotion to the surface. It can also bring hidden emotions to the surface for observation and increase intuition. Mercury conjunct Pluto expands and intensifies thought. It can bring troubled emotions and thoughts to the surface for examination and clearing.
  2. Sun (life), Moon (emotions), Mercury (thought), and Jupiter (expansion) conjunct Saturn, which is limitation and repression. We may experience a desire to go inward or feel slightly depressed. Saturn is also about discipline, and it may be important to examine feelings and thoughts to discover what needs to change through meditation and creative thought.
  3. Mercury (thought) squares Mars (action), which can cause confusion about finding right action, words, and/or communication.
  4. Mars (action) conjuncts (close to) Uranus (sudden change, quantum field). Uranus’ tendency is to heighten creativity and the desire to live in a more expansive way. This aspect pushes us to make changes, but it’s important to think twice and anchor into stability. (It is quite energizing but can be overly spontaneous.) Mars squares (tension, frustration) Jupiter (expansion), Saturn (limitation), and Pluto (underworld, transformation). With Mars presenting 4 squares, it’s important NOT to act on frustration, resentment, or small upsets. (Wait a week or two, and see how you feel.)
  5. Saturn (limitation) and Jupiter (expansion) are in Aquarius, and they square (tension) Uranus. This is one factor in the current of strange events; however, it gives the opportunity to learn how to tap into the quantum field. Jupiter and Saturn remain conjunct Pluto, which is the COVID influence. Fortunately, they are moving away from Pluto, and we’ll likely see some relief in February.
  6. The planets will change their positions later in the year. We will move beyond the anger and frustration, which have been strong since summer. We’ll move in and out of the COVID influences, which are currently weakening. We have the power to shift ourselves and the world around us—if we devote moments and minutes to raising our frequency. In other words, there is great potential if we set our hearts and minds on finding it.

Cold Full Moon

The Full Cold Moon appears on Tuesday, December 28 at 10:28 pm ET. It’s the last full moon of 2020, Significant movement begins to take place with the planets, as we slowly move away from the aspects of the past year.

Full moons ask where our dreams and plans are leading. Dreaming usually means deciding on a new direction; knowing what we don’t want isn’t enough. We should dream big and let the light of the moon carry us away. Seriously, the full moon usually brings fruition of dreams, but the timing of this moon signifies the importance of fixing on a desire for the entire year. (It can be as simple as becoming more of who we truly are or learning to share more of our light.)

The chart is heavy with earth, bringing the necessity to plan and create in the material world. Sun (life) in Capricorn is about ambition, climbing mountains, and/or creating from a higher place of consciousness. Moon (emotions) is in Cancer, a water sign, increasing our sensitivity and heightening feelings.

Sun (life) and Mercury (communications, mind) trine (harmonious) Uranus (sudden change/quantum field), and the trine brings a focus on individuality, original thought, and the possibility of seeing life from a larger viewpoint. Uranus tends to expand consciousness, thought, and the way that we communicate. It also heightens gestalt moments when we suddenly “receive” or perceive a large truth or universal law. (We may receive insights about how and what to manifest.)

Moon (emotion) trines (harmonious) Neptune (mysticism, illusion), allowing us to see through illusion and discover truths about energy, love, and positive emotional connection. Neptune tends to heighten optimism, the intensity of sleep and dreams, and creativity. It can also increase intuitive abilities. On an emotional level, we can more accurately read feelings and perceive the flow of spiritual energies.

Moon (emotions) opposes Mercury (communications) in Capricorn. Mercury in Capricorn is practical, slow, and methodical. Moon in Cancer is emotional, loving, and changeable. Emotions and thoughts may seem confusing and/or conflicted. The two energies alternate with an opposition, or we may feel both at the same time, which can feel frustrating.

Venus (love, partnerships) is in Sagittarius, which brings a desire for adventure and excitement. Venus trines (harmonious) Mars (male, energy). It’s an excellent aspect that brings together the soft, feminine aspects of Venus and the vitality/drive of Mars. It increases charm and creativity. Venus squares (tension) Neptune (mysticism/illusion), which can bring inconsistent or changeable emotion, heightened creativity, and laziness—or inspiration.

Mars (male, energy) in Aries remains locked in the squares that brought confusion and tension throughout the year. Mars is slowly moving away from the positions, which relieves tension and pressure as time passes.

Jupiter (good fortune) and Saturn (limitation, karma) are placed in Aquarius, which hopefully brings new humanitarian opportunities as well as a time for inner growth. Aquarius tends to expand individuality, new uses of electronics (including sound, light, and color), and values equality. Jupiter and Saturn square (tension) Uranus (quantum field, sudden change) in Taurus.

Jupiter (expansion), Saturn (limitation), and Pluto (underworld, transformation) remain conjunct in the positions that contributed to our current scope of reality, which will change in 2021.
