Staying Connected

news_global

It’s challenging to stay centered, peaceful, and balanced when the energies of the world change several times each day. Empaths and healers feel the world turn and surge with global events and strong emotions of mass consciousness. We also feel the people around us.

The “light” energy amplifies everything. The energy is challenging, and it’s important to tap into the inner self on a regular basis to find our way.  Otherwise, we lose touch with the inner self, which acts as a light on the path.

Here are a few tips:

  1. Part of the influx of light is known as the acceleration and amplification. It makes time seem to pass more quickly, and we feel everything more—if we continue our soul work. There is a good reason for it. When we feel ourselves and others more, it amplifies everything in our system—the positive and the negative. When our negative emotions and thoughts feel stronger, we want to change them. When our positive emotions become more intense, we seek this state. In other words, the strong currents of emotions and thought can lead to our higher self.
  2. When we choose the inner self, we automatically move into a higher vibration. Higher vibrations displace lower vibrations. When we focus on love and peace, the emotions flow through every level of our consciousness; they flood body, mind, and soul. (This teaches persistence and devotion because the impact and level of higher emotion increases with significant work.)
  3. Every few hours, there is a surge and ebb of global emotion and thought. If we know the surge or ebb of energy and emotion comes from the outer world, we can seek the solace of the inner self. We can focus on love, forgiveness, or simply see a better world. (Anything with a higher vibration will do.) Becoming conscious of the input of lower consciousness helps in understanding how our emotions and thoughts are influenced by others.
  4. We are touched by everyone’s energy. As we gain awareness of this, we can shield, alter our relationships, or choose to release specific people in life. Ultimately, we have to choose people who help lift our vibrations and/or look at others with compassion.
  5. Freedom comes from moderating our impulses and emotions by becoming incredibly aware of energy. Our true source of energy comes from the inner self and the universe. It’s necessary to cultivate it to have the strength and insight to navigate through life.

NOTE: If you are practicing meditation daily, you’ve probably noticed how moods and emotions alter throughout a given day. The lower moods appear, disappear, and return during the day, and it’s helpful to accept and observe them. You also learn that the inner self brings stability, grounding, and focus—as well as peace and love.

Mastery in Strange Times

Oil painting Colorful spring summer rural landscape. Abstract Tulips flowers blossom in the meadow with hill and blue sky color background.

As light strikes the planet, the shift ensues. Some of us experience the shift through a yearning for greater awakening. We also see others who sleep, are indifferent, or express the emotion of fear through anger, sadness, or despair.

Although the energies are very beautiful, they also move—lifting our feelings upward and downward at various times. This oscillation offers the opportunity for mastery when we can hold a higher thought, send love, or project a peaceful vision.

Moving into a higher state of consciousness is never easy because we experience the highs and lows of physical reality. We also release aspects of life that reflect the lower self. If we persist, then the experience is one of increased light, insight, and love.

Here are a few tips:

  1. Go into the heart space and turn to love for answers. Listen to the heart where love abides. See if a particular decision leads to greater light and love. (Peace and stillness come with the right decision, and there is usually more “light”. Sometimes, light is visible in the room, itself, or the sun may seem to grow brighter.)
  2. Conversations with the inner self occur in meditation. We may see Images, which flash, or hear words—or simply have a “brilliant” idea. When the inner self imparts information, it will repeat the idea until we “get” it. Make time to listen and take small actions.
  3. Everything is energy, and energy alters with our vibration. Energy eventually takes on the shape of our thoughts, emotions, and actions. It’s an universal law. It may take time, but everything changes with positive imagery, love, and supportive beliefs.
  4. Our thoughts and feelings count—even the small ones when we think negative thoughts about others, the economy, or the environment. It’s helpful to learn to “stop” negative thoughts and feelings by meditating on peace, the inner self, or the heart. (Whatever we think/feel composes the substance that charges our energy field.)
  5. Our greatest power lies in our ability to act as creators. We can see good things for others, a beautiful future, and create loveliness in our personal world. However, it is an active choice. (We can see a homeless person and decide the world is terrible—or we can see the same person with a job and home. It’s always up to us.)
  6. Seeing “truth” is part of spiritual growth. It involves the uncomfortable experience of seeing aspects of people and life that we’d prefer not to encounter. After the initial “shock”, it’s important to know our realizations bring freedom in the biggest picture.
  7. Make a decision about the placement of consciousness. Many of our experiences come from where we dwell in our mind and emotions. (We can only feel “stillness” when connected to the inner self.)

Planetary Change, Another Shift!

newsletter_planetpic

The “weather” following last weekend’s full moon is softer and less dramatic. For many of us, the full moon awakened subtle energies, which encouraged our inner aspirations. The trick is to continue embracing them—regardless of the planetary energies.

Challenges remain as the planets teach discernment between the ego and inner self. We’re also learning about the difference between programmed global beliefs and the freedom of universal structures. (Big lessons are rarely comfortable although they can bring bliss—when we experience a shift into higher consciousness.)

Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter are in Libra, which can make life seem beautiful and gracious. Sun (life, light) and Mercury (communications) oppose Uranus (quantum field) in Aries, meaning our desire to enjoy and balance life may cause conflict with our inner quest for spiritual growth. In short, it’s important to devote time to meditation and contemplation when many changes are afoot in the outer world.

Mars (action, overall energy) in Capricorn squares Uranus (quantum field, spiritual change) in Aries and conjuncts Pluto (subconscious, transformation) in Capricorn. Its square with Uranus can make for explosive action, or it can bring meditative thought about how our physical/every day actions blend with our spiritual life.

One of the bigger influences is Mars (action, energy)  conjunct Pluto (subconscious, transformation.) Mars and Pluto in a close position can bring courage, strength, and power to move forward with goals. As we know, power comes in two forms. It can refer to using manipulation to get our way or throwing resentment, hurt, or anger at others.

It can reveal the darker side of our energy–how we lash out or throw energy. True power involves choosing boundaries, staying on our path, and allowing the universe to work through us. We have to choose between force and strength. True strength brings healing, answers, and benefits the “all”.

Venus sits in Sagittarius, which forms a harmonious energy with Jupiter in Libra. These two energies in combination can bring pleasant and beautiful moments into our lives. Venus in Sagittarius tends to desire movement, philosophical stimulation, and physical activity. (Read esoteric writings and follow with a long walk.)

This full-disc image of Jupiter was taken on 21 April 2014 with Hubble's Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3).

Jupiter is sextile Saturn, meaning our good beliefs and positive karma, can help in finding a better life and bringing it into form. Saturn trines Uranus, which means positive karmic efforts to follow our soul can aid in bringing big, spiritual realizations into our physical lives. (This is a powerful trine because it means good fortune can result from sustained effort–particularly those based on inner connection.)

Jupiter and Uranus are square Pluto, meaning the large, radical change continues as we examine and create our lives. Jupiter symbolizing good fortune, so we’re discovering how to transcend our limiting beliefs about the goodness in life. Uranus pushes us to realize the importance of spiritual life and Pluto reveals our limiting beliefs and illusions.

NOTES:

  1. The energy remains a bit erratic with the continuation of Uranus conjunct Eris (the 10th planet of discord), and Mars and Jupiter square Uranus. It makes everything seem unpredictable. (Remember it’s easiest to manifest when life is not completely stable. Uranus does help with the quantum field, so use the energy to focus on big desires.)
  2. Two T-squares appear before the end of the month. (The first T-square is on Oct 20; the next T-square appears on Oct 23.) T-squares make life feel a bit heavy and frustrating. Fortunately, they pass quickly.
  3. If we use it wisely, there’s a marvelous aspect with Mars conjunct Pluto. It can truly help in materializing desires and goals. It can give relentless drive and courage. It’s also important to use it wisely by focusing power in a beneficent way. Obviously, the object of the aspect is pursuing a goal from a place of neutrality while allowing the universe to work through us. (On the highest level, this aspect can help with integrating many of the current changes–as well as manifesting dreams.)
  4. There is much lovely energy in the chart. Nature is spectacularly beautiful with Venus in Sagittarius and Libra in Jupiter. Make time to visit with the loveliness of the world. It helps in awakening the inner self.
  5. Create a balanced schedule with time for inner and outer work. Spend time observing the self and watching feelings and thoughts. Shift into higher consciousness whenever possible.

A Time of Awakening

intuitive

Admittedly, many people flow through the outer world as though nothing has changed. But it is the time of the Great Awakening when we can open the door to the “Field” and feel the flow of love and light. It’s also a time when everyone chooses to go higher or lower. (In yoga, it’s taught that we either become more of who we are or less of our true presence through practice. It’s a determining factor for everyone.)

Throughout the past three years, the patterns of energy work altered (along with the patterns and seasons of the earth.) When energy heightens, we have new perceptions. Everything begins to work differently.

Here are a few observations:

  1. The energy continually oscillates; it moves up and down. One day, everything is fine. The next day, it’s strange or exhausting. A few days later, it’s fine. (On the lower energy, negative patterns usually come to light. On the high energy days, we experience hope and happiness. In addition to learning about energetic patterns, we learn to conserve our own energy and observe how we use it in the flow of life. (Balance is an important part of the new paradigm.)
  2. With more light, everyone becomes more intuitive, gaining greater awareness of other people’s underlying thoughts and feelings. Eventually, vibrations will speak more loudly than words. The true feelings and actions of others will become apparent.
  3. Our collective energy is making changes in the world. Many send light and support on a regular basis to others. For those who can “see”, the light level is growing. We are also learning to vibrate above mass consciousness and lower group emotions. This trend will continue as we develop or connection with the inner self.
  4. It’s easier to send energy to others. Intuitive or psychic energy travels at a faster rate. It requires fewer “sends” and one or two clear visualizations can alter the pattern of a situation by lifting consciousness.
  5. The rules constantly change. There are a few constants such as working with the heart, returning to love, working with boundaries, and speaking our truth. Otherwise, energy responds to different rules, requiring constant experimentation for those who heal and send light.
  6. The quest for the inner self is the most fascinating mystery in our existence. Many people search for it in hope of answers. Awakening brings an incredible wave of love and understanding. True manifestation takes place through gamma waves, a state of super drive involving all portions of the brain. Gamma waves may only come through transmission from others and/or deeper levels of awakening and inner work.
  7. When we lift our consciousness and work with others, we connect with the Field in an entirely, different way. It amplifies our ability to pull in energy from many, new directions–and to apply it in new ways.

Seeking Light

news_global

As the world shifts and changes, it’s wise to seek love and light. It’s also helpful to learn small, simple techniques that can raise our consciousness. By applying techniques and focusing our consciousness in a different (higher) direction, we progress more quickly on our path.

  • When we focus on light, the universe responds. When we contemplate light, we receive its support. When we desire awakening, the universe leads us into many experiences in the invisible world such as synchronicity, esoteric teachings, and subtle answers, which provide direction in life.
  • Universal direction comes when we connect with our soul. It may come from meditation, nature, animals, personal love, or creativity. If we recognize the “expansion”, we can create a great deal of good from this place—particularly with visualization.
  • Life responds to our visualizations, placement of consciousness, and attention. When we give attention to negative states or unwanted aspects of life, they expand. Conversely, positive thoughts and visualizations raise our vibration, creating the opposite. (It’s helpful to think of difficult areas of life as energy and to send light to them. We can also decide to see the solution as opposed to focusing on the problem.)
  • Self-observation is a wonderful tool for creating change. By observing our personal patterns, we learn to change the inner dialog (what we say to ourselves), focus on a positive outcome or different response, and ask the universe for help at a pivotal moment. By asking the universe for help, we essentially ask for new perceptions and insights in blocked or difficult areas of life. If we are open, small answers appear and coalesce.
  • By noticing happiness, beauty, positive feelings, and goodness, we automatically bring more of them into our lives. The placement of our consciousness attracts much of we experience in life, which means it’s possible to alter the current of our life by attuning our consciousness to a higher point. (Life moves very differently from this point.)

Energy

Everything is ultimately energy. Energy takes on a thousand shapes and forms. It responds to us.  (Our energy field also responds to others and the overall global field.) Over time, we learn how to interact with the resonance of specific energies. We also learn how to collect it through meditation, yoga (Tai Chi, etc), and cultivation of calm, peaceful emotion.

  1. It’s important to know everything is composed of energy. It takes form by its rate of vibration. On a human level, energy can feel dense and heavy when it is not in alignment with the inner self—or when we travel through resistance. It tends to feel light and supportive when we are aligned.
  2. The energy of the planet shifts rhythmically, causing the experience of highs and lows. By aligning deeply with the inner self, we can stay centered as we travel through the energetic translation of a changing time. (The quality of energy, experienced at a particular point in time, may represent an influence of karmic patterns, geographical locations, mass consciousness, or other people.)
  3. Currently, we are working with the concept of balance. It’s important to stay balanced, centered, and grounded when the energy is continually shifting. It’s good to know our feelings and moods alter with the flow of the current of life. They don’t last forever and become less intense when we stay centered.
  4. It’s powerful to observe the flow of life. Through self-observation, we can note the places, people, and things that lift our energy field into a higher place. We can also note synchronicities and correct intuition. They give hints about our personal alignment. (What indicates your personal alignment?)
  5. If we are persistent and aligned with our spiritual quest, the energy in our personal field will eventually take on a higher form, reflecting abundance, alignment, health, and love

Feeling the Shift, Self-Observation and Expansion

newsletter_tree2

We are all feeling the shift–the motion of photons into new patterns, the alteration of life on the planet, and subtle changes within our perception of life. Sometimes, it’s helpful to recognize aspects of the shift. By simply observing, we become more aware.

1)  Energy moves differently. Time moves quickly, then slows. Life can feel incredibly tense and dramatically beautiful. Our energy level ebbs and flows. Our emotions, thoughts, and perceptions of life change with the energetic flow. The interesting part of the shift is understanding our inner power to alter the placement of our vibrations. We can focus on pink light or imagine ourselves in a higher state of being.  This process can take minutes, hours, or days.

2) Nature can provide amazing energy. The natural world holds a slighter higher vibration than we do. By connecting with the earth and enjoying the beauty, we can heal our body, manifest more quickly, and move into a softer state of consciousness. It’s particularly effective to absorb energy through the soles of feet and through the tips of the fingers.

3)  Our ability to create is expanding; it’s also changing. It can take longer to manifest a desire, which can require a great deal of visualization and meditation. Or we may entertain a thought and experience almost instant manifestation.  We’re learning more about the process of creating together and the power of aligning with the inner self. Some of the biggest questions about creating involve time, consistent factors, and state of mind. We’re beginning to understand more in this new age.

4)  As we clear timelines (relationships, karma/trauma, and events from the past), our perception of ourselves alters. We may have compassion where we lacked understanding, create boundaries where we had none in the past, or feel greater love for the self. We may also find greater courage and trust. (This can involve dropping old friends and connections while finding new ones.)

5)  Our inner vision—intuition—is becoming stronger. We suddenly know why our energy rises or our energy falls. We know it comes from another person, place, or event. We may also have inner knowing about the cause of events and/or a clear read of another person’s motives. We may know what other people are thinking or feel strongly affected by their energy field. It’s helpful to note when our intuition is correct. We can note the difference in our state of mind, which develops our skills.

6)  There is a desire to relinquish control and let the universe do its thing. A Bigger Force is at play, and it wants the best for us. There is a deep realization of the power of letting go while tuning into this beautiful energy of love and light. We may experience a reawakening of hope. We continue working with all of our heart but surrender to the universe in the very, same moment.

7)  On the light worker level, there is an understanding that we share our light best by aligning with our true presence. It doesn’t matter if we work from 9-5 and/or where we work. Wherever we are, we lift up the world by aligning with our inner presence. It’s the very best way of sharing love and light. (We often find our dharma from this placement of consciousness.) It’s a new level of self-acceptance!

Using Your Inner Gifts

newsscene

If we continue to search for the soul, hold our vision, and walk in love and beauty, the landscape will change. We’re recalibrating and changing with the new energies. Sometimes, we need to remember and use our gifts to make the passage easier.

  1. Using visualization is one of our incredible gifts. When we visualize, we create. It requires time and repetition, but it works. When we combine visualization and the light of meditation, results come faster—and they resonate with our heart.
  2. We can remember our true identity. We are children of universe with powers of light and goodness. It may take time to develop those inherent powers, but they are there.
  3. We can speak to ourselves with kind words of encouragement. We can notice our efforts to move into the light and make small changes in life. In general, our words of encouragement should feel stronger than our critical, inner voice. It helps in accomplishing what our inner self wants.
  4. The placement of consciousness alters our feelings and thoughts. When we meditate, connect with the inner self, or engage in simple tasks, which give joy, we find our center. We move into a higher vibration. When we live in at a higher frequency, life often alters its flow.
  5. We have the power to send light. Simply go within and send light (and color) to anyone or any situation. For example, send light to a difficulty as opposed to thinking negative thoughts. Send light to your day, friends, and animals.
  6. We can ask the universe for a higher level energy level and more inner connection. If we keep asking, the universe responds. Sometimes, it’s easier than doing it for the self.
  7. We can project a positive feeling and outcome into the future. It doesn’t always work because we are learning a lesson and/or rewriting a belief. But it will always work with a few things, which encourages our efforts for the future as we move into mastery.
  8. We can review memories of joyful times, moments of deep connection, and periods of time when we stepped into our power. We can also imagine tapping into inner power and using it more effectively. (Consciousness follows the “wand” of the mind.)
  9. At least once or twice each day, we can meditate on the power and feeling of love. It is one of the most powerful forces in the universe, and it changes everything—if we let enough of it into our heart space.

Planetary Change: Full Moon and Eclipse

newsletter_planetpic

The beautiful harvest moon on Sept 16 brings an odd chart, full of good and difficult things. The eclipse and full moon symbolically point to a change in structure—particularly with church and government. Jupiter’s Sabian Symbol represents the evolution of the sixth race into a higher level of humanity, and it sits close to mid-heaven, where God’s mind supposedly resides. (Jupiter on the midheaven can indicate cosmic help with goals.)

To me, the chart intensifies much of the energy felt through the summer. The motion of higher group consciousness into a state of love is amplified by Moon and Neptune in Pisces, and Sun in Virgo urges the continuation of discarding whatever is not necessary (and the addition of what is needed) in everyday life.

Mercury (communications) retrograde in Virgo delivers a bit of heavy feeling along with minor confusion and delays with the passage of life. Mercury retro can also cause misunderstandings and difficulty with interpreting words. On a higher level, it teaches kindness and a keener observation of judgement—if we are patient and tolerant. It also helps with discernment of the inner voice so that we learn if it is judgement or intuition speaking within us.

Venus and Jupiter are in Libra, which brings clarity of thought and quicker connection to the divine. On a lower level, it can lead to self-indulgence with beautiful things. On a higher level, the connection with beauty can open our souls to higher instruction.

Venus (love, beauty, material objects) opposes Uranus (spiritual change) during the full moon eclipse. It’s a difficult placement that can make it easy to confuse love and unsettled emotion, which can cause abrupt changes—both good and bad. With this aspect, it’s important to focus emotions on goodness and kindness. (Wait until after the weekend for intense debates and decisions—if possible.)

Mars (action, passion) in Sagittarius focuses on quests and moving forward, but it also squares (tension) Mercury (thought) and Jupiter (good fortune.) A square can indicate confusion with decisions and specific energies. In this case, it refers to thought (Mercury, communications) and good fortune, money (Jupiter.)  It’s wise to wait on taking action with new ideas for another week or so until the planets are a bit more settled.

Saturn (time, karma) in Sagittarius is exactly square Neptune (mysticism, illusion) in Pisces. This aspect causes confusion. For example, we may know it’s time to begin a new business, find a different direction in life, or change the structure of our lives. But it’s difficult to see how to do it. (It’s a bit like driving in the rain and knowing it’s time to turn onto a particular road, but we can’t see it because of the fog.)

Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter oppose Chiron, the wounded healer. Mars squares Chiron. In other words, there is not much healing taking place, but we are very likely to see what needs to change. Knowing what needs changing is often a first step in healing issues, which is necessary in creating a new life.

In closing, Jupiter’s beautiful position to mid-heaven will likely give beneficial insights, which we will reap after the full moon and eclipse. In the meanwhile, we’ll continue to feel those incredible waves of love, confusion about our personal life, and strong indications about what we need to drop, alter, and create in our physical lives.

It’s all about finding the inner self and creating more of its presence in our physical lives. It’s a lovely process, which may feel difficult for a few days, but bright realizations will follow in the coming days.

Sabian Symbols *

*From Sabian Symbols by Lynda Hill

Sun sits on Virgo 25, “A Flag at Half-Mast in Front of a Public Building”. A flag at half-mast symbolizes a death or tragedy. The symbol could refer to the failure of national governments to provide to the public or the closing of buildings, providing services. At any rate, it represents awareness of shutting down and/or ending of a public service—or perhaps our belief in the value of these forms.

Moon sits on Pisces 25, “The Purging of the Priesthood.” In this chart, the sun symbolizes a problem with structures created for the public. The symbol for the moon focuses on altering spiritual structure in the outer world. Between the two, there is an indication of a large change on a social level.

Mercury retrograde is placed on Virgo 18, “Two Girls Playing with an Ouija Board.” The Ouija Board is often an introduction to the occult and psychic phenomena. But it is not considered a safe or controlled practice. It’s impossible to know “what” comes through the Ouija Board, but it is some form of intuitive or astral energy. (With Mercury retrograde, we “read” many forms of energy—and not all are accurate. It’s important to seek higher sources of information.)

Venus sits on Libra 22, “A Child Giving Birds a Drink at a Fountain.” Simple joys and gestures can lift our lives into beauty and happiness, particularly when based on spontaneous actions. A child’s natural generosity symbolizes the right emotion for aligning with love and experiencing joy.

Mars is placed on Sagittarius 24, “A Bluebird, a Sign of Good Luck and Happiness, Is Standing at the Door of the House.” Good fortune and rewards are implied in this symbol. Mars, which is action, is involved and places emphasis on right action.  It implies the warmth of home and the positive feeling of alignment with the physical world.

Jupiter is on Libra 2, “The Light of the Sixth Race Transmuted to the Seventh.” It implies a transcendent shift into a state of higher consciousness for the human race. It asks for focus on personal evolution, right action in the physical world, and motion into a higher order.

It seems apropos for current interest in spiritual affairs and the lack of disciplined work associated with many of them. From another angle, it’s easy to read group consciousness and the sway of the masses in reaction to media. (It doesn’t make the reaction accurate or aligned. The challenge lies in aligning with higher truths.)
