Understanding Emotion

 

 

When life changes, we feel emotion. Emotion is a wave, which takes our feelings to a lower or higher point. It’s a normal part of spiritual growth, and it’s called oscillation, a reference to the motion between waves of thought and emotion. When we are centered in connection, we are aligned with the heart. Through this practice, life ceases its motion; it is anchored by unconditional love. It is one of the benefits of devotion and meditation.

  1. Emotions change. Much of our interpretation of emotion has to do with our feelings of “good” and “bad.” As we surrender memories and patterns, our feelings change. When we learn to how to move to a higher frequency, many of our emotions alter, becoming more positive.
  2. When we are centered, we generally feel less emotion. We feel neutral and positive in a general sense. We feel love, which supports us and carries us through life. (We can experience more of this by focusing on pink light or love in the area around us.)
  3. Our imagination influences our emotion as does visualization. We generally tend to verbalize our problems and focus on them through images in our mind. Negative emotions are often amplified by giving them a “voice.” Much of this practice is programmed in our society, but it’s not a good use of our energy. It’s helpful to imagine receiving positive emotional support from others or spend time visualizing a happy, desirable reality.
  4. Emotions are contagious. We can feel the positive or negative emotions from others. We can vibrate above their emotions, change the “mood” by speaking of positive events, or separate ourselves from the other person. We can also center in the heart, which teaches about our eternal connection to the divine.
  5. Life responds to our positive vibrations. The trees move, birds sing, and nature responds when we connect with our higher self. Life moves in a beautiful flow. People on a higher vibration will reflect our higher state.

Everyone feels negative and positive emotions. We change the pattern by staying centered when we feel lower emotions and/or changing our behavior. We invoke positive emotion by focusing on beauty, love, and joy.

It’s also important to love both sides of ourselves–the good and bad. It’s how we eventually find the “center” through acceptance and self-love. It’s also how we master the waves of oscillation, which grow stronger as we move more deeply into the light.

Creating Change through Visualization

1) Begin with a positive and courageous attitude. It doesn’t matter if you tried and failed in the past. Your perseverance coupled with practice will change your life. In time, you’ll recognize patterns of lower emotion and thought. You’ll transcend them with positive imagery and thought. The beliefs will alter with practice. (It’s good to know this is a particularly good time for creative change. The planets and New Year support it. Many people are awakening and changing at this time, and their energy lends support with your efforts.)

2) When you have a wonderful day and/or a successful practice, compliment yourself. Notice your good work. Notice how you feel. In time, this will help you to discern when you are/are not connected. This teaches volumes about connection with your heart. Build yourself up for making the effort. (If you miss one day, compliment yourself for the previous six days of practice.)

3) Whether or not you feel connected in meditation, believe it is working. Every time you practice meditation, you are literally collecting energy and light. The energy builds over time. Trust in the effort. An opportunity for change will come if you stay with the practice.) Believe the universe is working with you.

4) Everyone has created a big, positive change—at least once. Travel through your memories and choose one of these times to revisit. Relive the memory and feel the burst of resolve and courage, which resulted in accomplishment. You can use this energy again (simply by remembering it.)

5) Do work with your intuitions. Intuitions can be grouped into areas–true and false. Keep a list. Refrain from acting on the “false” intuitions, and act more on the “true” list. (It’s important to know you will receive new intuitions and dreams whenever you reach a higher energy level. It takes time to discern true from false—and the same is true with dreams.)

6) Spend time with people on a higher energy level. Find friends who encourage you and believe in you. When others see the good in you, you feel and believe it. (You don’t discuss your manifestation, but you do enjoy the friendship.)

7) Raise your vibrations by listening to lectures or meditations by teachers on a higher level and/or reading spiritual works. It’s good to read a few spiritual words before bed and visualize awakening in a rested state. (If you experienced a turbulent day, you can actually see everything as better in 48 hours. It usually works.)

If you truly practice visualization, you’ll learn how to project positive energy. You’ll learn to change your inner visuals of negativity to the positive, and you can do it for others. More importantly, you’ll find the sensation of your inner self, which always sees life in a very different and more perfect way.

Awakening and The True Self

 

Awakening is associated with learning about the true presence. It is a process, a method of attuning to the direction of the true presence. There are several steps of the process. The first involves believing and knowing the true self is there.  Rest assured that the true self hears and feels our desire  By recognizing and expanding moments of connection—such as happiness, peace, or joy—we connect more deeply.

A feeling of stillness and peace comes with the true presence. Meditation develops the feeling of presence. In meditation, the true presence mediates between our earthly presence and the universe at large. It connects us to a larger paradigm of reality with universal truths, which are much larger than the laws of “real life.” For example, we can send light or love to a person, without knowing where they are, and the person can receive it instantaneously. (This is transmittal—a method of sharing one’s spiritual truth or abilities.)

One of the indications of success with meditation and energetic practices is the desire for higher vibrations. The feeling of universal connection—the true self—delivers light, expanded possibility, and a deep feeling of love. By culturing and developing this relationship, inner guidance is provided over time.

Awakening is much more than meditating. In my experience, meditation helped in developing an inner calm and a quiet, peaceful feeling. My intuitive abilities also increased. But true awakening came when I saw the inner light in every particle of life. I could see how light lies beneath the structure of every object on the earth–and how the fibers were guided perfectly by the light above. The One Light appeared in many forms. (It’s fascinating to note that the inner light of nature responds to our individual light.) Soon after, I found a teacher in wolves—and I learned to see life in a different way.

After awakening, life is the same. But we perceive it in a different light. We become aware of the true self, which alters our way of understanding life.

In my practice as a teacher, I’ve watched students experience the process of awakening although their work may have begun with a physical problem such as abundance, relationships, or physical pain. Over time, awakening has come to many of them—and manifested as a deep understanding and ability with universal forces. (It does not come to everyone. Some people simply want to feel better or to have a better life. Others devote themselves to sensing the spiritual energy beneath the practices. But awakening does come to those who seek it with heart, body, and soul.)

  • Everyone has a true presence. We’ve all felt it.
  • The True Presence holds the qualities of the soul. It connects us with the universe, the One in All.
  • The level of energy—both physical and spiritual—affects our ability to tap into our true presence. Higher vibrations help in identifying this presence.
  • Meditation brings about connection with soul qualities. It can increase our light level.
  • All spiritual work is part of finding the True Self.
  • Connection with the spiritual self is often the component that makes manifestation work.
  • There is a mysterious, unknown quality in spiritual work. We pursue stepping into the unknown.

Recognizing Your True Self

  • Everyone has had moments of joy, a smooth current of positive happenings in life, strong (correct) intuitions, a sudden knowing of an answer, or unexpected help. A deep connection with nature can also indicate the presence of the true self as well as a spiritual insight or experience. In a sense, we release the immediacy of the demands of ordinary life and move into a non-ordinary life.
  • The heart speaks to us about the true self through our deep desires. What attracts us with a sensation of love and heightened spirituality? What gives an energized state and a deeper feeling of connection with the inner presence?
  • Observation is very helpful in finding the true self. In morning, spend a few minutes observing the actions of the routine. Observe the self while driving a car. Observe conversations. Who is observing? (Your True Presence observes.)  According to quantum physics, when an observer is added to an experiment, the photons change their route. Light responds to an observer. Imagine looking in the mirror. Notice your good qualities. Become aware of your body as you look into the mirror. Imagine you are the person in the mirror, and you are looking at your face and body. Who’s observing?  Your True Self or true presence is always observing. It is always there in the totality of your being. There is always a part of you with a loving presence, which is connected to the universe at large. This part of you is always awake.
  • We can think about the most illuminated periods of our lives. By focusing on them, we can recall the experience of connection. (This is known as the right use of memories.)
  • A feeling of the “unknown” is often associated with the true presence as are love and light. To some degree, the inner presence is experienced as the “unknown.” Mystery surrounds our journey into light and love. On this journey, we discover the light within the self–and how to integrate it.

Clearing Karma

The whole world is clearing karma and moving into light. Increased light actually moves us through our old patterns–the negative repetition in life. Karma is not all bad because it’s how we find both freedom and inner gifts.

The process results from the cultivation of light, the discovery of the inner self and opening the heart. (Opening the heart is how we read and hear higher intuition.) We also become more conscious and realize our habitual reactions and experiences emanate from the self. Most of us feel the same way when we’re upset, so it becomes obvious we’re generating a specific frequency of lower emotion.

Basically, karma is the flow of energy in the opposite direction of growth. It can come from past lives, karma, habits, or events during our lives. It can cause fear, lower emotions, blocks, and patterns. It can also come through genetic or ancestral patterns.

There are often beliefs about ourselves and life If we simplify, we can say it’s where we have difficulty moving forward, understanding with others, and responding properly to life challenges. We often don’t see it until we take steps to move in a new direction.

Here’s information on karma that may help. 

It’s interesting to know that our desire to move forward spiritually, experience love and loving relationships, and improve physically and emotionally often brings karma or old patterns to the surface.

  • Karma tends to appear as strong reactions. It can also appear as the need to control, confusion, the inability to act on a desire, or the stuck feeling sometimes experienced in close relationships. It’s because clearing karma is a process.
  • Clearing karma and/or old beliefs takes time. It is often cleared in small steps such as changing emotions or focusing on one small task daily that leads to a higher level.
  • We’re clearing old soul contracts and moving into a place of “free” and loving connection.
  • Releasing karma can involve small changes with emotions, physical actions, or thoughts. Eventually, this leads to releasing a pattern as well as awareness and freedom.
  • When we clear karma, we regain a beautiful part of the self along with new gifts and talents.

Clearing karma

  1. Notice perpetual reactions, upsets, and dissatisfaction. Karmic cycles comes around more quickly with the current acceleration. (What always happens to you?)
  2. Notice the inner dialog–the words and the feelings. Look for words like always and never.
  3. Pull back from the feelings and dialog. Ask for pink light (universal love) and the presence of the higher self. Send light to part of you that is experiencing pain or upset. Send light to the issue and come back to the present. (Detachment helps in finding the “real” part of you.)
  4. Note how the difference in the feelings and the power of temporary detachment.
  5. Form a strong visual of different behavior, a new outcome, and a feeling of ease.

It’s also helpful to see these moments as energetic challenges and part of spiritual growth. We all have a “lower” side, dark memories, and life challenges, and these energies need integration as we walk the spiritual path. As we become aware of the energies and learn to shift into a higher vibration, we begin the process of creating a positive change in life.

Most wonderfully, we become capable of easing the same state of heaviness and limitation of others as we clear personal karma. There is clarity with giving and flowing. The clarity allows us to know how much to give, envision, and help others. A perfect state of balance for the self and helping others is achieved through this process of self-perfection, surrender, and mastery.

Why Does Life Feel So Intense?

You may see master numbers like 11:11 or 22:22 while encountering synchronicity constantly—or you may feel frustrated and overwhelmed emotionally. A small event may send you reeling back into the worst of childhood memories, but you’re totally peaceful after a few minutes of meditation.

What’s happening? The earth (and humanity) are experiencing huge waves of light, solar storms, and fluctuations in geomagnetic field. Astrologically, we’re preparing for a New Moon/Solar Eclipse on July 2. (The chart lines up with aspects of the United States’ natal chart. Think about what you love about it because conjunctions intensify both good and bad.) Mercury retro begins on July 7 and extends throughout the month. A lunar eclipse comes on July 16 along with many retrograde, outer planets. Obviously, the earth and nature are changing with the current cosmic changes.

Yes, the energy will become stronger, and people will probably become more reactive unless the “conscious” group devotes to more meditation.

Why Are People So Emotional?

Light amplifies everything. Think about shining a huge light on a room. You’ll see the dust and dirt hidden beneath the surface. The same is true with the self.

The past is “up” for examination. It usually doesn’t feel good to relive mistakes and painful events. However, it’s how you evolve. However, karma is simply a lower vibration. When you learn how to maintain a higher vibration and/or new vibrations, you displace karma and create new opportunities in life. (Light and/or a higher frequency actually connects you to the quantum field where energy behaves very differently, creating small and large miracles.)

What About Self-Sabotage?

Self-sabotage and mistakes come from a relatively, small part of the self. If you’re experiencing awakening and/or higher consciousness, you’re probably complex with many, different parts of the self.

Only a small part of you (one part of the self) is making mistakes, and it occurs when you’re not awake. This part of the self will share ideas and thoughts when you’re not paying attention. They often sound good because they are part of an old pattern—a program to keep you in the comfort zone of staying the same. You’re noticing self-sabotage because you’re awakening. Otherwise, you wouldn’t notice it. You’d think life wasn’t working, and it wasn’t your fault.

NOTE: It doesn’t help to feel guilt or blame yourself. It’s best to know a small part of you created the dissonance. Send light to it. Promise to do better.

What Can You Do?

It’s important to remember this is a time of awakening. There are huge opportunities for growth in consciousness, manifesting our dreams, and bringing wholeness into this incarnation. (I didn’t say it was easy!)

Meditation and manifestation are very important because meditation teaches connection with the Divine, and manifestation teaches us how to reach the quantum field. They both raise your frequency, which how spiritual change takes place. (It’s not selfish because we learn – and want to – share whatever we manifest with others. It’s particularly true if you’re creating from your heart.)

Focus on the heart in moments of chaos. Ask for help instead of focusing on problems. Call on your angels, guides, and the universe. Imagine having the solution instead of searching for it.

There’s a part of you that knows what to do. You may not find it right away, but it will appear if you focus on it.

2019 Awakening Classes

In this time of awakening, it’s possible to come together as a group for greater evolution. The Awakening Class offers an opportunity to move into a higher level of spiritual understanding by mastering basic techniques of manifestation, which helps in connecting with the Inner Self.

What comes with the class?

  • 27 hours of classes, consisting of 3 one hour classes each month. You receive a written lesson and a recording of class that can be downloaded.
  • Self-study sheets, which help in gaining awareness and aid with inner discovery. You also receive the recordings of free teleseminars and other group recordings.
  • 4 fifteen minute readings with Julia. These session help in clearing blocks, alignment with the inner self, and progress on your path. Students can also email Julia for advice and transmission of energy when needed. (Very few classes offer this type of support.)
  • A Facebook group for comments and questions.

What Will I Learn?

  • The class offers basic techniques to raise your frequency, detach from (and recognize) lower vibrations, and rarely taught Manifestation Techniques. Every class raises your frequency.
  • Some of the topics include communicating with angels, changing your perceptions, animal communication (can be used with loved ones), projecting waves of happiness, success, and well being, following your intuition to create positive change, “speaking” intuitively to others, opening your heart to love, soul contracts, distinguishing between the inner self and the ego, learning how to ask the universe for help, and attuning to the Universe for answers. Additionally, we work on protecting the energy field, interacting with people in your life, and changing your every day life.
  • . The classes teach the art of using energy to create change in life through esoteric and practical techniques–as well as many of the special techniques, which Julia learned from the wolves.

Why Should I Take The Class?

Unlike most manifestation classes, this one truly works. Students have found the love of their life, created financial prosperity, and/or simply felt happier and better about life. Almost everyone finds a greater sense of peace and harmony while improving their life.

Manifestation: One of the Keys of Awakening

Manifestation is part of awakening. We become aware of how we create our lives as we grow in consciousness. (Everyone is already manifesting, but it’s mainly unconscious.) If we imagine a loop of tape playing and replaying, we might wonder why it continues to play, or we might decide to change the tape. That’s the basic substance of manifestation.

When we realize that we have the power to change the tape, then we alter the direction of our lives. If this realization comes with awakening (and a higher level of vibrations), we know it’s important to create a life in alignment with the inner self. As we expand into light and love, we naturally want to create and experience more “good” in life. Ultimately, it’s beneficial to ourselves and the people around us because everyone benefits from a higher frequency.

Here are a few tips:

  1. Meditation is one of the keys to the realization of the heart’s desire. It brings alignment with the inner self, which quietens thoughts and stills emotions. It also gives connection to the universe, the biggest source of love and light.
  2.  Manifestation alters our perception. It teaches focus on the positive sensations and images of what we want to create. When we focus on the good in life and see the positive, we move into higher vibrations where more possibility and opportunity exist. By focusing the mind, we learn to alter our perceptions.
  3. Many of our perceptions are based on experience and belief, which occur as part of our encounters with life. It doesn’t mean that life always responds in this way, or the outcome never changes. It simply implies that we need to see and feel life differently–and believe that we can change it in a positive sense.
  4. Working with manifestation teaches discernment. Over time, we learn the value of “things” lies in their resonance with our heart. If our desire doesn’t align with the heart or our inner self, it won’t bring joy. But repeated experiences teach the difference between the desires of the inner and outer being.
  5. Focusing on a positive vision teaches control of lower emotions and thoughts. Part of any manifestation lies in the substitution of one thought and image for another. (We can’t change and/or control everything, but we can influence a great deal. Also, we can change our emotions and thoughts.)
  6. The practice teaches a great deal about inner power as well as the changes that occur when we connect with the universe and the inner self. We can use the same practice to alter other people’s lives–and the world. (Everyone and everything is happier in a higher frequency.)
  7. The heart space expands when we step into creating the vision of the inner self. We feel more love and peace. And the world becomes more beautiful.
