Full Strawberry Moon and Lunar Eclipse

June’s Strawberry Full Moon comes on Friday, June 5 at 3:12 pm. There’s also a lunar eclipse and challenging aspects, which appear as part of the unusual rhythm of 2020. On the outer level, it’s easy to see patterns and rhythms of conflict and upset. On a higher level, it’s likely that we can evolve and master many of these energies on a collective level in the coming months.

Sun (life) in Gemini focuses on short range communications such as news and social media, interaction with friends and families. The air sign is represented by the twins, denoting the dual nature of life—which can be transcended through insights into the spiritual self. Moon (emotions) is placed in Sagittarius, the archer who focuses on long range goals and intentions.

Sun (life) forms a lovely conjunction (close to) Venus (love, relationships), which can amplify feelings of harmony and love. Sun squares (tension) Mars, which can ignite the will and force. It can become the powerful placement of the creative warrior and/or represent tension, anger, and rage. It can bestow achievement through increased will power and determination—at its best. Sun also squares Neptune (illusion/mysticism), and it tends to cause frustration. However, it increases creativity and desire for expression.

Sun (life), Moon (emotions), and Mars (action, male energy) form a T-square, which delivers the feeling of pressure in life. However, we have free will—and can focus on universal energies or frustrations. (Think of dialing into the universe for a specific, higher frequency and feeling. Stay there!)

Moon (emotions) opposes (opposite) Venus (love, relationships) increases our need for love from others when it’s probably important to love the self. Moon squares Mars (action)—an indication that our emotions can override the need to take positive action and/or lead us into the wrong action.

Mercury (communication, higher mind) sits in Cancer, a water sign, which can heighten emotion. Mercury trines (harmonious) Mars (action), meaning the higher mind can guide our actions to create positive emotions and change in life.

Venus is placed in Gemini, giving a tendency for light conversation and socialization. However, Venus is retrograde, so we feel less of her positive qualities (love, harmony) at this time. Venus squares (tension) Mars (male, action), and we’re likely to feel out of sync with the people who we love and the sweeter rhythms of life. (Venus moves direct on June 25.)

Mars sits in Pisces, a water sign represented by fishes swimming in opposite directions. Mars in Pisces tends to repress negative feeling until they surface. Mars is conjunct (close to) Neptune (illusion, mysticism). The aspect heightens sensitivity and accentuates the need for grounding and practicality.

Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) conjuncts (close to) Saturn (structure, karma) pushes our consciousness into growth and expansion. Often, it brings obstacles, but it also gives strength to overcome them. It gives recognition of limitation and a desire to overcome it.

Saturn (limitation, karma) squares Uranus (quantum field, sudden change), which limits the ability to create change in the way that we want and brings obstacles into our path.  It’s best to see problems and take action—rather than dreaming big plans and making significant choices. Let the universe reveal the right path to creating a better, more positive life.

Jupiter (expansion, good luck) and Saturn (limitation, karma) conjunct Pluto (underworld, transformation). As we’ve seen the past few months, these aspects reveal the hidden crevices of lower and higher collective consciousness. The goal is creating a transformation based on higher vibrations. (We have to see the truth to change it.)

Tips

  1. We may feel frustration and anxiety on an emotional level, and it’s helpful to know that it’s temporary. It’s useful to notice the causes of frustration and determine if it’s the overall energy or a pertinent issue that requires a different type of action.
  2. Sun conjunct Venus can help in identifying with peace and love. It’s important to remember this higher part of our consciousness is always available. It’s a matter of tapping into it.
  3. It takes will and motivation to move into the higher side of expression with Sun, Moon, and Venus square Neptune. This aspect can give feelings of tiredness and lack of focus. However, it can also denote the ability of creative expression–if we tap into it.
  4. It’s not an easy chart, but the pressure will subside as we move away from the full moon. Regardless of feelings or circumstances, we have the power to see the opposite of a specific situation, find a better, higher frequency, and take the time to see the needed changes in life.

Sabian Symbols, based on the work of Lynda Hill

Sun is on Gemini 15, “Two Dutch Children Talking and Studying Their Lessons Together.” The symbol asks for greater understanding of other people’s point of view as well as connection and collaboration on a higher mental level. In sharing knowledge on common ground, both children profit from the endeavor.

Moon is on Sagittarius 15, “The Ground Hog Looking for Its Shadow on Ground Hog Day.” The degree depicts the desire for indication of upcoming changes and the need for a “sign” to follow in the right direction. It relates to the emotional need to find clarity in a time of confusion.

Mercury is on Cancer 9, “A Small Naked Girl Bends Over A Sparkling Pond Trying to Catch A Fish.” The symbol speaks of the naivety and innocence of childhood when we are free from societal needs.  We can play in the beauty of life and ponder what lives in the sparkling pond. (It’s a much needed energy!)

Venus is placed on Gemini 13, “A World Famous Pianist Giving A Concert Performance.” The placement refers to those who have mastered their gifts and can share them with others. It suggests finding a love connection through the higher vibrations of adepts. It can also indicate a need to develop and express our individual talents.

Mars is on Pisces 16, “In a Quiet Moment, A Creative Individual Experiences The Flow of Inspiration“. When we attune with universal, higher consciousness, we find peace and answers. With Mars (action) on this degree, it’s important to move into this place of being before taking “frustrated” and/or angry action.

Jupiter sits on Capricorn 27, “A Mountain Pilgrimage”. This is a beautiful symbol that speaks of exaltation and ascension of spirit, which represents good fortune (Jupiter) in this chart. It’s a lovely placement for consciousness with an illuminated goal.

Nature: Time of a Feminine Age

According to the indigenous grandmothers, we are moving into a different time of new beginnings when everything will work in a new way. Feminine energy will preside in this new era, replacing many aspects of the masculine, which required constant action and “push” in the physical world. It emphasizes “feeling” the way into right action as opposed to the old mantra of “just do it”.
Indigenous cultures were based on feminine principles and involved connection with the earth. (Simple exercises such as meditating while focusing on a landscape or tree were used to bring in a desire.) There is a strong focus on sensation and emotion, including the necessity of “knowing” if a step resonated with the heart, particularly when taking an action.
I learned about this method from wolves. They often spent an entire day focusing on a desire until it took form, or an opportunity occurred. (It works well for humans, too.) The earth supports putting thoughts in creative form. It’s an ancient, beautiful way of being, which is likely genetically encoded. It’s a state of oneness with the earth and sky. Beyond this, it’s a slower way of being that involves time spent looking at trees and skies while learning to love what is within us—or as the Native Americans call it, “walking like a living prayer.”
Part of the motion into the feminine comes from the placement of 7 of the 10 planets (astrology includes the moon) are placed in earth and water signs, which are feminine. Stillness, connection with nature, and meditative states are associated with indigenous cultures. By lifting our minds and emotions to a specific frequency, we heighten the likelihood of manifesting a desire. The desired result is harmonious and uplifting.
Personal Lessons from Nature the Current Time
1) I don’t need to travel into the world — or to do as much as I thought.  (I’m also happier this way, and I have more time for walks and higher thoughts.)
2) I can buy most of what I need on the internet. Without driving or flying, we help the earth.  (Staying home made a huge difference in the natural world in only a few weeks.)
3) The natural world is slower and more beautiful than I remembered (before the shut-down.)
4) I can’t see my friends or family, but I can send love and light to them every day. It’s a wonderful practice that I plan to continue.
5) Without diversions, I am much happier and focused. Nature is showing us a new way of life.
Here are a few, simple ways of tapping into the feminine.
1) Think of the generous aspects of nature and the universe. See the universal energies as a force that wants to fulfill your desires. Reflect on the good parts of your life and see more pouring into your life.
2) Sit by a tree. Focus on sending out thoughts about your happiness, how you could feel better in the present moment, and a better future. Ask the tree to extend the feelings into the future.  (Trees also help with intuitive communication with loved ones and friends.)
3) Meditate outdoors. Feel the sunlight moving through you like universal light. Hold a visual and ask nature to correct it. While in this process, notice the beauty and sounds in the world. They help with harmony and balance.
4) Go for a walk. Notice how your thoughts and feelings change with the landscape. Notice the colors and shapes that are uplifting for you.
5)  Thank the earth for her goodness and express gratitude for the physical body. Notice how your body works and functions well. Take joy in it.

Finding Light and Love in Challenging Times

It’s more than a pandemic. The world is shifting, and it’s part of a reset of the planet and life. I’m reasonably sure that this shift is part of a collective initiation as we come together in higher consciousness through a place of stillness and intent. In many ways, this time resembles a leap into higher consciousness, which occurs through reception of light (and hard work on the self). Initially, nothing works in the right way, and everything feels juxtaposed.
Sometimes, it’s a struggle to align. Old ways and habits no longer serve. Only intuitive focus leads in the right direction, and it comes from the heart, which requires proper use of the will. It’s a continual task to raise consciousness, focus on the heart, and see possibilities instead of doubts.

Let’s take a look at using light in a challenging time. After all, love and light are the answer.

  1. Your energy will oscillate, moving up and down with various stimuli. It’s okay. Simply create an image of yourself and loved ones as happy, healthy, and abundant. Rest for a few minutes and focus on yourself. (Coming back into consciousness awareness of the self often creates a higher frequency.) You will move through this time, and your life will improve. There’s an unique opportunity to find stillness, see the beauty of nature, and create deeper bonds with the universe.
  2. In challenging times, we are called to express kindness and courage when life is difficult, to have compassion for others when we are in pain, and to share our gifts generously whenever we can. This means listening to the heart and using our skills to  manifest more love and light. (What might happen if we all spent 10 minutes each day with an intent of creating a more beautiful, harmonious, and abundant world?)
  3. The world is not coming to an end. There are many people, who live in the light and hold beautiful visions. Wonderful possibilities remain for the world. By seeing and imagining them, you can bring them into being. Practice substituting thoughts such as these for unhappy thoughts.
  4. People can feel your love, and you can feel their love. It’s easy to open the heart to send pink light and imagine the people who you love. See them sending light and love to you. You can do the same for them. It’s a metaphysical way of raising frequency and moving into the universal love vibration.
  5. Whenever possible, speak kind words and encourage others. See them without their troubles
  6. Use each day to improve you. Notice the tone of your voice, the way you move and speak. Let your inner awareness of the self help you. Focus on the heart and see the beauty of life. (When tasks seem overwhelming, I like to imagine that I’m performing them as an act of service for the universe, which improves both mood and outlook!)
  7. It’s not a punishment. It’s an opportunity for self-mastery and to see life in a kinder, different light.
  8. When it feels like this time will last forever, you’re picking up on mass consciousness. Life is changing, and the planet is healing. Somewhere along with the way, the universe heard the desires for quiet time, rest, and a break for the planet.
  9. Abundance is an universal quality, one that is expanded through focus of mind, emotions, and consciousness. It’s important to see the universe as the source of abundance, a flow of light and physical energy that supports every aspect of your life. It also creates the possibility of generosity, helping others, and supporting positive change. When your abundance flows it, see it for others and share it when possible.
  10. When you become completely present in the moment, positive feelings from the universe flow into your life. The energy is changing, and the vibrations are very strong. Open your consciousness to possibility of big change, and trust the universe to take you to a new destination.

Additional notes

  1. Use your light as protection in public places. Radiate it around you.
  2. Write an angel letter and ask for help with specific problems.
  3. Continue to believe in your dreams. They are there for a purpose.
  4. Mention the good qualities of the people whom you love.
  5. Thank your pets for absorbing lower energies and helping you at this time.
  6. Send light to the future and take time to visualize a more beautiful, harmonious world.
  7. Remember how important you are in this pivotal time. You are much more powerful than you think!

New Moon Forecast, Another Shift

The New Moon appears on Tuesday, March 24 at 5:28 am. Sun and Moon are in the Aries, the sign of the ram. Aries marks the return of spring and the inherent possibilities associated with new beginnings. The fire sign denotes creativity, a strong will, and a fierceness with focus. On the negative, the sign can bring egocentric qualities and a scattered feeling In a moon chart, Aries brings creativity and rapidity along with a strong desire to begin a project and/or life in a new way.

As we continue to work with our collective experience of corona virus and other economic problems along with many environmental issues, the new moon chart hints at solutions.

The Sabian Symbols (a method of reading the aspects more deeply) gives broader indications. For example, the Sun and Moon sit on Aries, “A White Triangle with Golden Wings”. In metaphysics, the triangle is a symbol of harmony, white represents purity, and golden wings are help from heaven. By focusing on harmony within the self, we receive support from the unseen world. Jupiter (good fortune) is represented by “A Woman Entering the Convent”, which is an experience that may feel familiar in our current state of isolation.

Sun (life) and Moon (emotions) square North Node (spiritual direction for collective consciousness) in Cancer, the feminine water sign, which is nurturing and compassionate. (In other words, it’s important to continue with a slower pace and check for a compassionate outlook as opposed to flying to win or achieve.)

Sun and Moon conjunct Chiron (the wounded healer), which can amplify our awareness of our wounds and karma. It can also indicate the beginning of understanding the energy behind our group karma, which is a substantial part of any healing—as we can clear the karma when we identify and understand the obstacle. (Aspects with Chiron can bring back memories and old feelings associated with the past. Good memories align with the inner self. With difficult memories, we must understand the energy behind them if we hope to achieve positive change.)

Mercury (communications, mind) is placed in Pisces, a water sign which is intuitive as opposed to logical. It’s dreamy and unfocused, so don’t feel badly if you haven’t adjusted to your new home schedule. feels as opposed to thinking. In this placement, it’s dreamy, unorganized, and emotional. It causes difficulty with focus on routine tasks, interrupting thoughts and plans. Fortunately, Mercury trines (harmonious) Pluto (underworld, transformation) helps with the ability to discover secrets, solve mysteries, and find unexpected answers.

Venus is love and beauty, and she points to possible ways that lead out of the current dilemma. Placed in the earth sign of Taurus, Venus is about building beautiful forms in the material world, aligning with the earth, and seeing the loveliness of life in the present moment. Venus trines (harmonious) four planets, aligning our energy with her vibrations in several different forms.

Venus (love) in Taurus, gives connection with the earth and heightens the sense of physical love. Venus forms beautiful aspects, which could be very helpful, Venus trines Mars (male energy, action), giving harmony between the male/female aspect of the self and the sexes. Venus trines Jupiter (good fortune), heightening the presence of love and expanding its good. Venus trines Pluto (transmutation, underworld), giving the ability to transform relationships in new ways. It can help in finding and expressing the transformative quality of love in creative ways.

Venus (love) and Jupiter (good fortune) sextile Neptune (mysticism, illusion). With this aspect, we can see through the illusion of sickness and fear by moving into love and hope. Whenever Jupiter and Neptune align positively, there is always greater hope and possibility for goodness and growth.

Mars (male, overall energy) is exalted in Capricorn, giving strength, willpower, and courage to overcome difficult circumstances. In this positive placement, it brings power to overcome resistance and obstacles, bestowing strength on every level of life. Mars squares (tension) Uranus, causing a desire for the new world (Uranus) and the need for the safety of the familiar. (We can see this in the outer world.)

Saturn (limitation, karma, structure) moved into Aquarius, and it tends to affect borders, structures, and boundaries. Saturn sat in Aquarius with a new emphasis on humanitarian values with focus on group endeavors and positive changes for the collective. Aquarius is a fixed sign, which can indicate a fixed point of view that needs examination. It prefers tolerance, fairness, and a cooperative point of view.

Uranus is in Taurus, an earth sign ruled by Venus. In the few months since it’s movement into Taurus, we’ve become a new cycle that breaks the old cycle of movement, pollution of the earth, and the habit of spending as a form of enjoyment. (There’s nowhere to go!) If we take the opportunity, there’s ample time to breathe in the spring beauty and take a pause to gaze at the flowers.

The Collective Change

On the collective level, change occurs through the conjunctions of Mars (male, energy), Jupiter (good fortune), Saturn (limitation), and Pluto (transformation, underworld). Pluto rules collective energy, and conjunctions represent planets in close proximity, which amplifies their qualities. In short, these are global changes that will continue throughout 2020.

Challenges usually involve change, the ability to align with courage, hope, and right action. Mars placed in Capricorn supports the shift. Jupiter in Aquarius provides humanitarian values and new thoughts and ideas. Saturn (limitation, karma) may point to the need for commitment to spiritual values and practices, which support the earth. Pluto plunges us into the underworld where there are fear and shadows, but it also lends support for transformation if we are willing to embrace the truth of the change.

Notes

  • The chart is basically positive with tools and energy to begin work on the current global epidemic. The forecast points to the power of love (aspects with Venus), the importance of healing the earth (Uranus in Taurus), and the strength of inner will and courage (Mars in Capricorn)
  • Sun (life) and Moon (emotions) in Aries stimulate our will power and intelligence. They also mark the time of a new beginning (although it’s not yet defined.).
  • Sun/Moon square with North Node (group spiritual direction) reminds us to remain compassionate as we find personal solutions for life—and to think of others with kindness when we can.
  • Sun/Moon conjunction with Chiron may stimulate old wounds and memories. (There’s usually something that we don’t yet understand energetically with negative memories that replay. When we grasp the message and lesson, the memory dissipates.)
  • Saturn in Aquarius seeks new boundaries, borders, and structures in the world, which encompass a new way of life.
  • The Collective Conjunctions bring humanity together on a global level. This will continue throughout 2020.

Sabian Symbols based on the work of Lynda Hill

Sun/Moon sit on Aries 5, “A White Triangle with Golden Wings”. It’s a perfect symbol for this time. A triangle is a symbol of harmony and balance, and golden wings suggest help from the angels and/or spiritual world. By coming into harmony through the inner self, we evoke help from the higher aspects of life.

Mercury is placed on Pisces 7, “Illuminated by a Shaft of Light, A Large Cross Lies on the Rocks Surrounded by Sea and Mist”. A cross implies mastery of all four worlds—spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical. Surrounded by sea and mist may imply overcoming emotion on a personal and worldly level. (Mass consciousness emits emotion, and we overcome it to attain mastery.)

Venus is on Taurus 21, “A Moving Finger Points to Significant Passages in a Book”. Significant passages may refer to finding knowledge, researching scientific or holistic material, and/or feeling led to spiritual passages.

Mars is on Capricorn 26, “A Nature Spirit Dancing in the Mist of a Waterfall”. A nature spirit dancing refers to the light heartedness, which can be found when conversing with nature and/or taking time from the seriousness of life. It’s about finding the balance between the lightness of the spiritual world and responsibilities, which are inherent in daily life.

Jupiter is placed on Capricorn 24, “A Woman Entering A Convent”. Jupiter rules good fortune, and the image may seem very familiar at this time. In short, good fortune comes from separation from society and the outer world. It marks a time of inner contemplation, renewing faith, and working on the “big” picture of life.

March Full Moon Forecast

Appearing on March 9 at 1:45 pm ET, March’s Full Moon is a special one, opening the door to the energies of the spring as we prepare for the equinox on March 19. It’s a super moon—an intense event followed by even more super moons. The energy will be quite strong.

Sun is in Pisces, bringing the floating feeling of water. Sun sextiles (gently positive) Mars, which increases enthusiasm and energy, Jupiter, expanding optimism and good fortune, Saturn, bestowing patience and perseverance, and Pluto, which gives desire and determination Moon (emotions) is in the opposite sign of Virgo, an earth sign that likes order, precision, and routine. Likely, we’ll move between both extremes.

The Moon bestows excellent energy in many areas of life. Moon trines Mars (action), heightening emotional strength, Jupiter (expansion), bringing emotional warmth and generosity, Saturn (structure, karma), heightening organization skills, and Pluto (will, transformation), conferring emotional power and will.

With many lovely aspects, we have to question why the world feels so heavy and chaotic? Since 2020 began, we’ve experienced strong aspects with Pluto, which rules and influences collective energy. Pluto also reveals the underlying darkness, which is hidden in the world. Mars conjuncts (close to) Saturn (limitation, karma), and the two planets carry heavy energy from the underworld. Their purpose is to reveal the energy of the darkness, so we can find the discipline and strength (and methods) to overcome it. At the moment, the news and other forces spread lower information such as fear and panic through broadcasts. We’re only begun our practice of changing the world through higher vibrations, and it requires time.

Moon opposes Neptune (illusion, mysticism), clouding our vision and giving a sense of uncertainty (For example, we knew rain was needed for Australia, but it’s more difficult to create a solution to the coronavirus, the devastation of natural resources, and political instability.) Metaphysics teaches that the universe will provide the information and the “how” if we hold to a higher vision. (The answers may come and go. If we listen to our heart, the solutions will come.)

Mercury (communications) remains in retrograde until March 10, which will open the door to action desires, and potential plans. Mercury (communications) is in Aquarius, an air sign, which heightens mental ability and originality. The planet sextiles Uranus (sudden change, quantum field), opening our consciousness to new streams of thought. (It’s a good time for focusing on aspects of life that require change.)

Venus (love, relationships) is placed in Taurus, an earth sign ruled by Venus. This placement helps in seeing beauty of all kinds—in nature, love, and life. Venus squares Saturn (karma), giving energy to work through karma and beliefs based on life experiences that relate to love. Venus conjuncts (close to) Uranus (quantum field, sudden change), and this gives the power to move into a state of unconditional love to create positive change. Venus conjunct Uranus can also make relationships feel exciting and intense.

Mars (action, male energy) conjuncts Jupiter (good fortune, expansion), increasing our ability to move the direction of new paths and possibilities. It heightens energy, strength, and confidence. Mars conjuncts (close to) Pluto (subconscious, transmutation), and this aspect can give courage in moving through old blocks and patterns, or it can lead to egoic grasps of power. (Any aspect with Pluto applies to group and collective consciousness, i.e. the direction of the higher and lower self on a global level.)

Jupiter (expansion, good luck) conjuncts Saturn (limitation, karma), which can cause a push me/pull me energy between warmth and enthusiasm and contraction/limitation. Jupiter and Saturn are placed in Capricorn, a male, earth sign that rules ambition and structures in the outer world. It’s an odd combination of death/rebirth that can give the vision to create a new world from old structures—at its best. (Some of its negative aspects are currently shown through 5G, destruction of national parks and resources, etc. However, many other alternatives are present if we hold the vision.)

Saturn (limitation, karma) squares Uranus (sudden change, quantum field), which can make changes feel frustrating. It throws unexpected obstacles, changes, and delays on the visible path of life, but it also asks for greater flexibility, openness, and the ability to go with the flow. When we can take this step, life realigns with the correct path. (It’s important to acknowledge the many paths that lead to the top of the mountain.)

The Big Conjunctions

Mars (action), Jupiter (expansion), and Saturn (limitation) conjunct Pluto (underworld, transmutation). All four planets are in Capricorn, the sign of the goat, which is accompanied by the desire to climb and create structures in the outer world.

Conjunctions between Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in Capricorn continue throughout 2020, and no one knows exactly what it means because it doesn’t happen very often. Having said this, it affects collective consciousness, which always involves a choice. If we truly want a higher reality, we must work on it through higher consciousness, positive visuals, and emitting positive vibrations. (We also have to look at the darkness with a clear eye to discern bigger truths. Otherwise, we don’t know where we need to work.) Also, we have to believe in our power to create, but this is the basic work of metaphysics—a task that most of us agreed to take on in this lifetime.

Tips:

  • Sun (life) and Moon (emotions) provide excellent energy in many aspects of life, including vitality, determination, positive emotions and will. Tune into the positive vibrations and notice what you love about life. With Sun in Pisces and Mercury (communications) in retrograde, there may be a passive, slightly tired feeling.
  • Meditate and/or become very still. Let your heart find the answers for your life. Moon’s opposition with Neptune can make solutions feel hazy or unclear, but you can overcome it with this technique.
  • Mercury (communication, mind) in Aquarius gives brilliant insights and new solutions. Take time to consider life from different perspectives.
  • Venus (love) in Taurus provides a wonderful love vibration. It can help in aligning with the beauty of nature, the movement of the trees, or the color of the sky. Slow down and take in the first sightings of spring.
  • Jupiter (good fortune) and Saturn (limitation/karma) are conjunct. On one level, it’s time to release particular aspects of life. On another, it’s important to ponder the creation of the next step in your life.
  • The Big Conjunction between Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto is about understanding, exploring, and experiencing the collective’s influence on a personal and global level. For those of us on a higher level, it’s important to realize how the placement of consciousness affects the world. (Work on those higher vibrations and positive visuals.)

Sabian Symbols, based on the work of Lynda Hill

Sun sits on Pisces 20, “A Table Set for an Evening Meal” indicates provision of one’s necessities and the promise of nourishment and care. The food, table, and company are waiting, and the best meals come with connection and a positive attitude from all who eat at the table. It may represent an assurance from the universe that our needs will be met, and we will find the necessary support on our spiritual journey.

Moon is placed on Virgo 20, “A Caravan of Cars Headed for the Promised Land”.  The image depicts a journey of people to a promised land, which provides a new way of life.  It can represent leaving behind stagnation, habits, and repeated cycles to move into new opportunities with like-minded people.

Mercury is on Aquarius 29, “A Butterfly Emerging from a Chrysalis”. The image reflects the magic of awakening—a transformation into a new, beautiful form. (Mercury involves thought, so we may encounter new methods of thinking about ourselves and life such as the power of the inner self!)

Venus sits on Taurus 6, “A Bridge Being Built Across a High Narrow Gorge”, which is a perfect symbol for Venus in Taurus. Venus rules love, and it is love that leads us through impossible places that bridge old and new consciousness.

Mars is on Capricorn 16, “School Grounds Filled with Boys and Girls in Gymnasium Suits”. The school ground points to a group learning experience that is physical in the outdoors. School children are often a mix of many groups of people with different levels of intelligence, who are learning together. (Mars rules energy at large, and it could refer to our current state with a mixture of individuals who want to learn about the world and themselves in physical reality.)

Jupiter is placed on Capricorn 22, “A General Gracefully Accepting Defeat”. It’s not the game; it’s how we play it. If we play by the rules of the universe, it may look like a loss in the outer when it’s a truly a gain in the inner world because we’ve remained true. It’s discovering true nobility of character and knowing when to let go.

Mystical New Moon Forecast

The New Moon appears on Sunday, February 23rd, and it brings the mystical energy of Pisces, symbolized by two fish swimming in opposite directions.  Pisces is ruled by Neptune, and the natives of the sign are imaginative, generous, and compassionate as well as moody and idealistic. Sun (life), Moon (emotions), and Mercury (thought) are placed in Pisces, which enhances spiritual focus, intuitive ability, and emotion. These three planets sextile (harmonious aspect, which promotes growth) Mars (action) and Uranus (quantum field, sudden change), meaning it’s possible to create change and by accessing original ideas to move through life. They trine (harmonious) North Node, which delivers the spiritual direction of higher collective consciousness. (We could possibly take a leap on a conscious level.)

Mercury (communications) is in retrograde in Pisces, which can slow communications and travel. Pisces rules the twelfth house of karma, and this placement can bring memories and patterns to the surface. It can also give religious/spiritual insights that help in understanding lessons, meanings of events, and unraveling old energetic events. Mercury conjuncts Neptune (mysticism, illusion), and this aspect can aid in seeing through illusion and finding spiritual meaning in life.

We continue to work on love (Venus) by expanding and exploring its meaning. Venus in Aries (fire) squares Mars (male, action), Saturn (karma, time), and Pluto (subconscious, transformation). It may make us question the core beliefs behind our efforts to move forward–and to take a deeper look to see if they are love based. We’re likely to feel the karma from the past (what we find unlovable about ourselves), and we may have conflicts when we want to get our way (Pluto). It’s important to know if our desires are aligned with love and soul growth–or a compulsive urge. The answer is about finding love within the inner self and using it as a guide stone. Here’s an important point about love. It’s not just about moving into a loving place and getting love. It’s about loving ourselves enough to become discerning with thoughts and emotions—as well creating a place of inner knowing about boundaries and what is best for our soul.

Mars (action), Jupiter (good fortune), Saturn (karma), and Pluto are all in Capricorn, which is about power and structure. In short, we have the power to use our gifts to grow, develop, and link with collective consciousness—or become wrapped up in power struggles. Mars in Capricorn strengthens the will, gives courage, and aligns with ambition. The placement increases discipline and helps with attaining goals.Mars trines (harmonious) Uranus (quantum field), which supports taking risks and acting on new ideas. (It also increases overall energy.) Mars opposes (2 conflicting concepts) North Node (group spiritual direction), cuing us to the importance of reviewing our goals to see if they benefit the “all”.

Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) is placed in Capricorn, benefits those who organize, plan, and visualize results with work and goals in an ethical manner. Good fortune comes from good planning and practical endeavors that support growth and inner development of others. Jupiter conjuncts (close to) Saturn (karma, limitation). It’s known as the Great Conjunction, which occurs in twenty year intervals. The aspect combines the discipline and stripping away what isn’t needed (Saturn) with the idealistic vision of Jupiter, and it can bring a single mindedness to success and the attainment of goals. Jupiter conjuncts Pluto (subconscious, transformation), which amplifies the desire to focus on goals, structure, and success. Jupiter sextiles (opportunity for growth) Neptune (mysticism, illusion), and this brings a light, positive feeling to the chart; it also increases luck and fortunate possibilities.

Saturn (limitation, karma) squares (tension) Uranus (sudden change, quantum field). It’s an odd aspect that can bring unwanted changes, which require adjustment and contemplation. At the same time, it increases our craving for specific changes and independence from routine. With Mercury in retro, it could bring change to appointments, travel plans, and the desire to communicate goals and/or create opportunities. However, there are enough positive aspects in the chart to flow through the frustrations–and learn more about the fluctuations of our consciousness and how they affect life. Saturn conjuncts (close to) Pluto (subconscious, transformation), asking for a new structure in life and resolute devotion to goals. (It’s important to consider how our goals support the growth of the inner self and the overall well being of the “all”.)

Uranus (quantum field, sudden change) squares Pluto (subconscious, underworld), creating tension between the early degrees of Taurus, which depict the beauty of spring and the joy of creating with the nature, with Pluto in Capricorn, a placement that involves using the will to succeed, finding power (using resources to succeed), and creating ambitions in physical form. Balancing the energies of Taurus (love of the earth) and Capricorn (using resources for success) is part of the equation that is presented to the world.

Tips

  1. With Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Pisces, it’s possible to attune to the mystical, spiritual world to discover insights about life, emotions, and thoughts. We can also receive unusual solutions and interesting points of view through the alignment with Uranus. It’s a supercharged position for spiritual connection.
  2. Mercury retro in Pisces can lead to reflection on past karma and patterns. The aspects (above) can lend new insights–if we’re willing to take time for meditation and seeing life from different perspectives.
  3. As a collective group, we’re revising our definition and understanding of love (Venus). Real love gives energy and light; it illuminates our path. It teaches about boundaries, generosity, and the impossibly beautiful changes that come from this state.
  4. Mars (male energy, assertion) pushes us in the direction of our goals, and Uranus spurs us onward into achievement and realization. The opposition with North Node asks that we consider the final outcome of our goal. Is the goal selfish, or does it benefit the “all”?
  5. The Great Conjunction with Jupiter and Saturn is about expanding our idealistic vision while letting go of whatever doesn’t serve us. It requires discipline and vision to create dreams. This aspect supplies both. Jupiter also sextiles Neptune (mysticism, idealism), which brings a wonderful, light feeling.

Sabian Symbols, based on the work of Lynda Hill

Sabian symbols provide a symbolic description of each sign and degree of the zodiac to provide deeper interpretation and understanding.

Sun/Moon on Pisces 5, “A Church Bazaar”, which represents members of the community coming together to socialize. At a bazaar, we move away from loneliness to come together for a greater cause as well as buying, selling, or exchanging goods. On a higher level, it may represent a different way of creating group cooperation for the benefit of many.

Mercury sits on Pisces 10, “An Aviator in the Clouds”, a depiction of a pilot in his plane flying high in the clouds. It’s a perfect symbol for this chart as Sun/Moon/Mercury placed in Pisces may lead us into the mystical where it feels possible to float above life problems. We need the elevated view of higher consciousness, but with Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in earth, it’s equally important to find the power to build a new life by addressing issues and finding new solutions in physical reality.

Venus is placed on Aries 19, “A Magic Carpet Hovers over the Depressing Reality of Everyday Life in an Industrial Area.” The Magic Carpet provides a contrast as a symbol of spiritual life to “Everyday Life in an Industrial Life”, which represents the mundane lower aspects of life such as greed and limitation. A Magic Carpet can take us on a journey into a beautiful, spiritual landscape that ignites imagination, belief in miracles, and possibilities found only in the mystical world.

Mars is on Capricorn 5, “Indians—Some Rowing a Canoe While Others Are Dancing a War Dance”. The symbol depicts a group endeavor although everyone is not agreement with activities. It could describe the lack of agreement and cooperation within higher collective consciousness.

Jupiter sits on Capricorn 19, “A Child of About Five Carrying a Huge Shopping Bag Filled with Groceries”.  The image is someone too young and too small to carry this much weight and responsibility. With Jupiter (good fortune) in this position, it could refer to those who are connected in higher consciousness and willingly carry the weight of those who live on a lower vibratory rate. It’s a way of carrying karma for the world, but perhaps our work would be equally helpful if we created joy and happiness.

Full Snow Moon and Continuing Change

February brings a quieter forecast with Mercury retrograde, beginning on February 16. In the past, retrogrades tended to indicate a period of rest, but it’s very important that we stay on track. When we can’t actively pursue our desires, we can meditate on them or continue working on them in a quiet way. In other words, persist!

(There’s tremendous pressure from the planets for change, growth, and a new way of being. It’s accomplished through action motivated by the inner self–as opposed to running around and trying to do everything. When we feel the “push”, we can recognize it as a planetary push, detach, and reconnect with the inner self, which is how we create spiritual change in the inner and outer world.)

The Full Snow Moon appears on February 9. It’s a super moon, meaning it’s closer than usual to the earth and will feel more intense. Sun is in Aquarius, the humanitarian sign of the New Age. Moon is placed in Leo, a fire sign ruling the heart, which ignites passion and desire for love, romance, and drama. Moon trines Mars (action) in Sagittarius, urging direct action and assertiveness. It encourages optimism and hope.

Mercury (communication, mind) is in Pisces, the sign of the last age. In this position, it encourages reflection and union with mysticism. The planet conjuncts Neptune, which can connect us to the unseen world and convey information, particularly relating to spiritual mysteries. Mercury trines North Node (the spiritual path or endeavor) in Cancer, encouraging insights about empathy and emotional understanding.

Venus (love, partnership) moved in Aries, creating a bolder, fiery tone with relationships and feminine issues. Venus squares Mars, continuing the friction between male/female energies. Venus conjuncts (close to) Chiron, the wounded healer, and we may heal ourselves by opening to love, redefining our feelings/beliefs about love, and taking affirmative steps in a romantic direction.

Mars (assertion, male energy) in Sagittarius boosts our desire to move ahead on our quest. Fire signs bring creativity, energy, and motion. Mars (action) trines Uranus, emphasizing bold action, but it squares Neptune, meaning our vision is not always clear. We may feel the push to move forward but lack clarity with our sense of direction. (If the opportunity appears to act – as visualized – take advantage of it. Ask advice on other issues.)

Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) in Capricorn conjuncts Pluto, the planet ruling the underworld, transmutation, and power. It opens the opportunity to use natural abilities and talents to create achievement. Pluto rules all types of power, and it’s wise to focus on endeavors that benefit the self – and the all. Personal pursuits for power can bring our “undoing”. (This aspect may well apply to current political and global trends.)

Saturn, planet of limitation and karma, squares (tension) Uranus (quantum field, erratic change). Saturn likes slow motion, and Uranus loves rapid change. There’s a combination of very different energies with pressure to change our lives while remaining loyal to responsibilities and creations from the past. It’s about expanding while working with the structure of our current lives. It can feel frustrating and confining, but the object is about finding balance—learning to grow in one’s present circumstances. Saturn and Pluto are conjunct in the relatively rare aspect that can bring awakening of higher consciousness and the power to build a more benevolent world.

Uranus (quantum field, sudden change) squares Pluto (underworld, transformation), dredging up hidden truths from the dark rivers of the subconscious while bringing old patterns of repetition to the surface. It’s wonderful when we can see it and make constructive change; it’s painful when we feel it but can’t grasp the underlying truth.)

Tips:

  • Several aspects in the chart exert influences that can give the feeling of a “push” and the sensation of life moving faster than usual. Slow down and review when the feeling occurs. Align with the inner self and think about what’s truly important to personal growth and the pursuit of dreams. Let go of the rest.
  • It’s important to take action when pursuing goals. A slower period of reflection begins on February 16 with Mercury retrograde. Currently, Mars encourages action, but our vision can be clouded by the Mars/Neptune square.
  • Mercury in Pisces combines emotions and thoughts with a spiritual focus.
  • We’re in a period of intense change that involves higher and lower consciousness as indicated by Jupiter conjunct Pluto and Saturn conjunct Pluto. It continues throughout the year.
  • Venus (love, relationships) is very active in its placement in Aries. It asks for assertiveness with love and creative reflection.
  • Jupiter increases the force of our natural talents and pushes us forward through its conjunction (close to) Pluto (transformation, power, subconscious). It’s best to keep the good of “all” in mind when forming goals.
  • Saturn (time, limitation) and Uranus (sudden change, quantum field) are square, creating a conflict between responsibilities to our present life and the urge to force change.
  • The Full Moon will feel intense. Plan accordingly.

Sabian Symbols, from Lynda Hill’s work

Sun is on 21 Aquarius, “A Woman Disappointed and Disillusioned, Courageously Facing a Seemingly Empty Life”.  The image depicts a hopeless review of a meaningless life; however, lives often change when we look at them with courage and a willingness to alter our beliefs. When we focus on the good with gratitude, overcome old perceptions, and approach possibilities, life improves.

Moon sits on 21 Leo, “Intoxicated Chickens Dizzily Flap Their Wings” symbolizes overreaching and forgetting to work with the limitations in our current life. In metaphysics, whatever doesn’t work is a lesson in rewriting our desires and goals—as well as approaching life in a different way with a new, more practical perspective.

Mercury is placed on 9 Pisces, “The Race Begins: Intent on Outdistancing His Rivals, a Jockey Spurs His Horse to Great Speed.” It can certainly feel like a race with the current pressure from the outer planets; however, racing to our goals is not a good answer. Reaching goals on a spiritual level involves consistent change, practice, and discipline. Feel the desire but do the work.

Venus is on 2 Aries, “A Comedian Entertaining a Group of Friends”. Part of love is bringing humor and lightness to life. Fun actually lifts our vibrations. Bringing lighter vibrations can help others and create a communal feeling of unity, particularly with those we love.

Mars sits on 26 Sagittarius, “A Flag-Bearer in Battle”. The symbol refers to acting on conviction, representing a cause, and/or promoting truth. Currently, the symbol may ask if we’re ready to move ahead on inner convictions and create a new life.

Jupiter is on 16 Capricorn, “School Grounds Filled with Boys and Girls in Gymnasium Suits”. Interaction, movement, and physical vitality are implied by the symbol. It implies instruction, fun, and awareness of energy between the two sexes.

Full Moon Message from the Wolves

You must open your heart to feel the waves of life, to move into the upcoming shift. It is about feeling everything intensely—the trees, the wind, the air, and the earth beneath it. We, who speak to your soul, are everywhere. We come as coyotes, wolves, whales, dolphins, and other forms of natural life. We speak to you constantly and purely, but you must open your heart to hear.

Nature speaks to you now through thunderstorms, earthquakes, odd weather, and other changes. The voice is loud so you will listen. The earth is awakening; new light comes from the core of the earth. It is there so you can absorb it and grow into a new form, a new human who represents who and what you once were.

Your heart is speaking constantly, giving instruction through intuition and asking you to stop and see the beauty of the incredible fabric of life. Everything is aware of you if you are awakening. It feels and responds to your thoughts, it attempts to soothe and heal your feelings, and it attempts to take you in the direction of your soul.

Moving into your heart is not difficult if you realize the importance of living in a different way, a non-congruent method of feeling your way through life. Opening the heart means seeing more and sensing the invisible world where the answers await.

There are many forces in your world—some positive and other negative. The positive forces support you in the invisible world and speak to soul through waves of stories of a beautiful earth and perfection of powers that wait for awakening within you.

Last time, we spoke of crossing the bridge, the decision of aligning with light or darkness. It is also about living and feeling the world. Through feeling, you find your way, and the purest feelings and truths are hidden in the heart. (It is how everything in nature speaks.)

There is a muddle of knowledge, a confusion of religion and ceremonies, spirituality and science, and truth and falsehood, which often makes it difficult for you to find your way. Confusion and fear create easy methods of stopping you on your path. But there are options such as courage, going within, seeing the future differently, and believing in yourself, which is a strong and powerful choice.

At this point, you learn that light illuminates and creates what you see, feel, and think (on a higher level.). And there are methods of seeing and feeling life in an original, exciting manner that has escaped most of the beings on your planet for a very long time. (You tend to think that everything is hard and requires tremendous effort over a long period of time. If everyone believes this, it becomes real. What if you believed life was easy and visualized Nature supporting you in the same way that she grows trees and breathes through the tide of the oceans?)

Ideas move through the subtle plane before taking physical form. For this reason, it is possible to dream of amazing changes and experience them. On your plane, this means giving up fear and doubt. It means taking time to listen your true self and the rhythms of nature, which will either support your vision or create another way of seeing the solution. (Experiment and see.)

This way of living through the heart and expressing dreams is part of who you were in the beginning of time. Everything moves in circles and spirals. It is time to circle back and live with love, the expression of the heart.

Questions

How does this relate to crossing the bridge and moving into a new reality?

You can only cross the bridge through your heart, and everything in your reality alters when you create with the light of the heat. You do this by living in a higher frequency, a different type of love—a way of seeing your strengths and talents. As you imagine expressing them, they benefit the world. (They teach others to live in a similar way.)

What about problems? Everyone has worrisome problems.

They may think they have problems, but they are actually stepping stones to creating new and different ways of moving through reality. They can teach a new way of thinking and feeling; they can be used to eradicate old ways of being from your past.

Every problem is accompanied by a feeling from the past. Every place that you hesitate has this feeling. It’s important to develop the feeling of moving through stopping points that recur in your life. Think of jumping into the water instead of wading into it.

Begin by seeing the opposite of your problem then ask the universe to give steps. You all have a journey that is formed by steps in a specific direction. The steps teach the motion of finding and creating more – if done properly.

Do you have any additional advice?

Remember fun and joy. Recall moments in your life when you ran free and wild, and the wind blew through your hair and you rested at peace on the earth. Think of miracles, the quantum field, and incredible solutions flowing into your life. Believe in the magic of the world, and ask the universe to whisper these things in your ear as you sleep at night—or ask to hear the meaning of the songs of the wolves and whales. This is the easiest way across the bridge.
