Moving Out of Fear and Into Love

There are actually good reasons for feeling fear. First of all, we always feel fear when we act on the heart because the world teaches us to go in the opposite direction (away from the inner self.) The outer world of duality resists the motion of wholeness associated with finding the inner self.

Yet, nothing is as fulfilling as connecting with the inner self, and life changes when we live from the heart. We learn to identify the energy associated with our soul. We gain awareness of energy as a whole and learn how it resonates with us. We learn how to create our inner desires, find our gifts, and share them with others.

There are also other reasons for feeling fear. They involve mass consciousness, taking a leap in faith, listening to the heart (when it doesn’t make sense), trusting the universe, and resistance.

1) When we step into the light, it involves a leap. It means letting go of our current life and believing whatever appears will work. It’s not easy, and the ego often feels resistance (or fear) about taking a big step.

Take the first step and continue by repeating until it works or morphs into another form. You will find help; the universe will not abandon you.

2)  The outer world does not encourage the huge wave of awakening. When we expand into our inner self, we can receive a wave of fear from mass consciousness (the lower emotions of the world at large.)

If you focus on the inner self as often as possible, you will find a way to move through the resistance. (It’s not easy, but you can move through it by using your will and determination.)

3) Mass consciousness resists personal change. Mass consciousness is a compilation–or cloud of energy–based on the lowest emotions and thoughts on the planet. When we feel a lower emotion such as fear and/or anxiety, mass consciousness increases the lower feeling. It’s helpful to ask the universe to delete the connection with lower energies and align us with the inner self.

The universe responds when we ask for help. It hears us more easily if we ask often and meditate.

4)  When we step into love and the inner self, it means letting go of our current life and believing whatever appears will work. It’s not easy, and the ego often feels resistance (or fear) about taking a big step. It’s normal to feel afraid, uneasy, or agitated before taking a step, and we have to trust the universe. The universe always has a bigger, better plan.

Let go and trust. If you feel the light, it is leading you. Go forward!

5) It’s easier to feel fear about our destiny than it is to take a step. “Destiny’ is simply the soul’s path—the universe’s way of choosing experiences of teaching us to move into a higher place of being. It’s easiest to begin with a desire of the heart. Manifestation is the expression of an expanded vision of the beautiful and good aspects of self that originate in the heart.

Learn how to use tools such as visualization, positive thoughts, and the power of love.  Study angels, read books, and practice changing how you see your life. (There is a great network of “love”, which will support you.)

6) The pressure and feelings of fear will lessen when you decide to move in the direction of the soul. The pressure lessens as you listen and commit to your inner self. The relief is often immediate!

7) Moving into awakening can also bring feelings of uncertainty to the surface. While we may feel unhappy in our experience of “reality”, relinquishing control can feel difficult. We have expectations of how life should look and feel.

Control comes from the ego. Allow your “reality” to rearrange itself in a new manner. It’s okay. The new reality will be much better.

8) When we step into intuition, it can take time to distinguish between the soul and ego—and to have a consistent feeling of direction. (This can feel frightening.) The inner self asks us to listen with the heart. It means following intuition or inner guidance as opposed to the voice of the outer world. This may feel strange or uncomfortable in the beginning. Often, the directions don’t make sense.

9) Over time, we learn to trust the inner voice and distinguish feelings and direction. After every leap, we trust the inner voice more. But it’s only in the area of the jump. There’s still more ground to cover.  We often feel the resistance of the lower self and the world, but it passes. Part of this occurs from learning to believe in the inner self, the true part of the self. (We also learn to believe in the universe’s ability to support us—or faith.)

Moving Into Oneness

Moving into Oneness comes from awareness of the inner self. It grows through listening to the heart and moving into light.

When we move into Oneness, we connect with everything and everyone on the planet. We feel the interconnection with the All.  (I practice this exercise several times every day!)

Conscious Change

Begin with a strong feeling of fortitude. You can do this. Now, create an image of living in the desired reality. Do something in the reality. Listen to song, dance around the room, enjoy your new “person”, plan a trip, or count your money. Smile and focus on a joyous feeling after completing the meditation. Everything is working for you.

Meditate for a few minutes every day. Connect with the universe and connect with your heart. Make sure your vision is leading you in the right direction. If so, take connection deeper.

Take one small action every day—preferably around 5-10 minutes for the first week. You can add time during the following week. Presumably, you’re working in a specific direction, so choose a task that will lead you to change. (Maybe, it’s staying calmer when your work needs a lot of focus or energy. It could revolve around exercise and diet. In this case, add a healthy meal or snack and add 10 minutes of exercise.) Compliment yourself for making the effort. (You rock, right?)

Patterns of old behavior and avoidance will always surface, particularly when you’re changing your life through spiritual work. It’s how you rewrite the energy of the ego that loves the old patterns and comfort zone. To change your feelings, you must rewrite your thoughts and emotions. (Thoughts and feelings can come from other people, past lives, or childhood. Often, they are not real. Observe, wait, and consider rewriting your feelings. How would you feel if you didn’t react or changed your behavior? Often, the answer is “free”.)

Discern between the heart and the outer self. When making a decision or choice, ask if the answer comes from the inner self (heart) or the outer self. It takes time to read answers correctly, and it’s helpful to notice when the answers are almost always correct. (You will usually have “areas” that are more advanced than others.)

It’s very helpful to remember the most important reason for the work lies in seeking awakening—the lovely feeling of connection with the universe, the rush of intuition, and the alignment of the soul with the physical world. Yes, you can create a whole, new reality, but you also create a better connection with who you truly are—the most beautiful and light qualities of yourself.

Finding Peace in a Changing World

Metaphysics suggests finding answers within the self. The peace and calm, which come from the inner self, radiate outward into our lives–and into the lives of everyone around us. We move into this space through meditation and self-reflection; this takes us into the “inner” or spiritual world. The outer world–-or physical reality–-is chaotic. If we interact with it for a long period of time (or with negativity), we lose our connection. This happens to everyone from time to time, but it’s important to reconnect quickly.

Here are a few tips. They are all examples of moving into the “light.”

1) Align through meditation on a daily basis. It helps in creating greater emotional and mental awareness. Everyone sends energy through thoughts and emotions. As you become more aware, you send less negative thoughts and more positive ones. (A positive thought is based on love or a pleasant emotion.)

2) Visualize and see a better, more peaceful world for everyone–particularly when you gain awareness of a “negative.” See the poor as well fed and employed. See health in place of illness and peace instead of conflict. Visualize the opposite of what you see and feel in your life. Imagine solutions.

3) Refuse to descend into negative emotion. Lower emotions such as fear or anger are contagious. Other people feel these emotions and react. Take five minutes and meditate. Think about the goodness in life. Express gratitude.

4) Take time each day to nourish your soul. Vary the experience between external (time spent with friends) and internal (art, exercise, or time in nature.) Explore the experience and expand. Expansion in the inner and outer life lead to positive contemplation and change.

5) Believe and have faith in a better world. Faith is part of the creation process; it involves believing in universal power, the power of good, and positive outcomes. Move into new possibilities about the future. Visualize and focus on the possibility of good.

NOTE: Personally, I pull back into my heart center. I also make an effort to stay centered without moving up or down about the state of the world. From this place, I send light to both sides (the victims and the perpetrators.)

I also like to listen to The Great Bell Chant (The End of Suffering)  Mantras are magical sounds, which lift our consciousness. As I listen, I imagine a world without conflict, suffering, or poverty. I ask what it would feel like if everyone lived in harmony. At this point, my consciousness lifts. (If I stay with the world current, my energy tends to become lower. If I meditate above it, I can visualize and send positive energy.)

New Moon Forecast

While the forecast shows positive conditions (with many planets in direct position), there is potential for growth. Growth and change often involve looking at life from two or more perspectives–and making a choice.

Choices lead us away from or into the inner self, and there are several planetary aspects, which emphasize the inner struggle. It can feel tiring and exciting when we pass through the chasm of realization. It’s helpful to know the planetary purpose is to (ultimately) help us to evolve.

The New Moon appears on Saturday, September 28. It’s not surprising that the New Moon Chart emphasizes personal development achieved through understanding the past (including past lives) and clearing karma.

Sun (life), Moon (emotions), Mercury (communication), and Venus (love, partnerships) are placed in the Libra, the sign of balance and beauty. Libra is ruled by Venus. Its influence awakens our desire for beauty, socializing, and experiencing the world from a balanced perspective. However, we’re asked to consider and release influences of the past, which can include karma and patterns that keep us from our full potential.

Releasing the past is presented as Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Venus square (tension, pressure) Saturn, the ruler of time. Aspects with often Saturn ask for discipline and devotion. With these squares, we find a different type of message. We’re asked to identity patterns of limitation from the past and find greater freedom of expression of the inner self. (Actually, it’s occurring for everyone on the spiritual path; the planets make it more obvious.)

Mars (action) in Virgo tends to stay fixed on detail. Sun and Moon conjunct (close to) Mars, which can help with focus and direction. Mars squares Jupiter (good fortune), creating frustration with plans and desires. Mars opposes Neptune, and it can bring dreaminess and/or confusion.

Jupiter (good fortune) squares (tension) Neptune (mysticism, illusion). The mixture of energies can cause lack of self-confidence and temporary loss of faith in self. It’s a temporary influence that can be overcome by recalling the abilities of the inner self—and aligning with the universe.

Overall, we’ll have moments of pure connection with the beauty of life, enjoy social or spiritual group interactions, and seek balance. The planets continue to push us forward. We’ll also experience flashes of the past, the re-emergence of patterns from the past, and encounter the feelings and thoughts associated with events in our past.

As we move into the light, we continue the process of attaining deeper understanding while releasing, and rewriting the past. In the void of the New Moon, we can recreate ourselves in a more balanced, beautiful form.

Tips:

  1. We’re moving into beauty and connection with the soul. The planets intensify the process of examining and releasing karma, and the influence of time. As we work through patterns, it’s also important to embrace the lovely moments of the past as they are reflections of the inner self.
  2. Motion in our lives appears as an on/off flow. Direct planets aid our forward motion; squares with Saturn and aspects with Neptune can throw us off course. The detours are of some importance. They teach about illusion and obstacles on our path.
  3. As we release patterns and embrace our inner self, we’re creating a new image of the self.
  4. There will be moments of discouragement, discontent, and strong emotions of the past, but they will pass. We have the tools and insights to work through them.

Shifting Upward

Shifting upward into a higher state of being is both a desire and a choice. When we shift upward, we can move out of lower patterns and feelings. We can receive more light and allow life to move into a flow that provides answers and insights.

7 Trends and Changes in Energy

1)   The universe is becoming vibrational. In the past, we said energy is everything, but the current trend is based on frequency. Frequency is sum of the vibrational quality of our energy field, and it affects everything. It’s a determining factor in outcome. (When we move into a higher vibration, the universe responds by lifting the situation into a higher frequency.)

2)   The Age of Aquarius asks for higher, balanced energy with an emphasis on the inner self. We can only give when our glass is half-full, and we must reserve energy to stay vital and fulfilled. In the Piscean Age, it was important to make sacrifices for the church and causes. If we gave away too much of our energy, the universe refilled it. At this point, it can days to revitalize our bodies and energy fields if we give away too much energy.

3) The best way to find answers is to listen to the heart
and follow the inner self. During the Piscean Age, we allowed the priests, leaders, and politics to determine our path. Now, we’re learning to listen to ourselves and find our inborn knowledge for enlightenment.

4)  Evolution is becoming increasingly important. It’s not about what happened to us—and old roles of victim and hero. It’s about finding the power within to energetically overcome and balance old karma. The lesson is about evolving, growing, and applying the experience to move more deeply into the inner self.

5) East meets West. The wisdom and knowledge of the Eastern and Western cultures is intermingling as we find balance within ourselves. The stillness and meditation practices of the Eastern philosophies is beautiful, but we also need the passionate action (and love) of the West.

6. We are beginning to define “good” as alignment with the inner self. There is a beautiful harmony that occurs in this connection. As more people awaken, the vibration will become more recognizable.

7. Self-care is becoming increasingly important as we continue to move through strange waves of energy, challenging astrological influences, and personal evolution. We simply have to rest and take care of ourselves to move through the energies of this time. Interestingly, a few hours of rest and a round or two of meditation can bring us back into the uplifting frequencies of higher collective consciousness.

A Magical, Feminine Full Moon

A particularly feminine Full  Harvest Moon appears on Friday, September 13–except on the east coast where it becomes full just after midnight. In ancient times, Friday was ruled by the Goddess Venus, bringing blessings of love and abundance, and the number 13 marked the end of a cycle of completion. It referred to the void of new beginnings.

It’s a super moon, meaning it’s close to the earth, bringing more influence and intensity than usual.  Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto are all in feminine signs. It is an excellent chart for transformation, but there are also challenges, which are probably part of our group evolution.

Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto are all in feminine signs. Sun (life), Mercury (mind, communications), Venus (feminine love), and Mars (male, action) are in Virgo, an earth sign with an emphasis on order, detail, and completing tasks. The Moon (emotions) is in Pisces and opposed by the Sun. The Moon and Neptune are in opposition to Mercury, Venus, and Mars. In short, we’ll receive waves of floating and confusing energy periodically, which will “read” as conflicting emotions. (A T-square intensifies conflicting feelings.)

Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars bring strength with their trines with Pluto (underworld, transformation). The chart gives the strength to transform our life in a positive direction—if we are courageous and intent on our goal.

Sun (life) and (Mars) trine Saturn (karma, limitation, lessons of time), and the harmonious aspects give determination and structure to our pursuits. If we remain focused on improving our lives and taking right action, Saturn offers a good deal of support. (Saturn is direct now, and we moving from unresolved karma into a new start.)

Squares with Jupiter (expansion, growth) can act as a catalyst to heighten our efforts in the direction of our desires—or it can cause us to overestimate our abilities to fulfill them. (Sun (life), Moon (emotions), and Mars (action) square Jupiter.)

The most challenging aspect of the chart is a T-square between Sun Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Virgo, Jupiter (expansion) in Sagittarius, and Moon/Neptune (mysticism, illusion). Together, the planets throw a veil of illusion (or confusion) over our path, making it difficult to discern the right direction and/or outcome at the moment. T-squares also give a feeling of pressure and intensity.

In short, Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars compel us to move forward in our lives. Jupiter (expansion) encourages us but has a tendency to overlook the amount of work. Moon and Neptune are Pisces, the ruler of the past age.

As we move through the remaining illusions (Moon, Neptune) of the Age of Pisces, we embrace the opportunity of building a new life, based on spiritual concepts in the physical world.  If we are practical, the planets help with this expansion, but it always requires inner guidance (true self) and universal connection to traverse the spiritual path.

Tips:

  1. Whenever possible, stay on your chosen path. Complete projects that align with the heart or your path in life.
  2. Resist distractions and odd emotions. Many aspects with Moon offer emotional upsets, rapid change in mood, and fluctuating emotions. (It’s only temporary.)
  3. Aspects with Jupiter and Pluto push us into a phase of expansion and transformation. It’s important to stay on task. Resist distractions.
  4. T-square between Sun/Mercury/Venus/Mars and the Moon/Neptune and Jupiter can cause disruptions and make it difficult to find our focus.
  5. Neptune offers an illusory flavor to the chart. It’s another opportunity to navigate into new world transformation by relying on intuition and the inner self.
