Higher Vibrations

A low vibration is often confused with depression, anger, upset, and overwhelm. These states of being are often an illusion like a dark cloud masking the sun.

The sun Is always there, radiating light, life, and love. But you don’t always see it. If you raise your vibration through the right thoughts, feelings, and emotions, the light returns.

Here’s a meditation for you. It may take practice, or your energy may soar immediately, but it will work.

Follow Your Path

Following your inner path is part of awakening. You find the path by listening to your heart. The heart knows your deepest desires. It brings connection to the inner self.

All positive intuition comes from the heart and awakening. You can learn 1,000 techniques, but the heart leads the way. It knows what you love—and how to take you there. It receives a broadcast from the universe, which is translated through the senses and emotions. When you listen to the heart, you are connected at the right time and in the right way.

All true journeys lead to the inner self. Everything else is simply a diversion. It won’t bring satisfaction, joy, or fulfillment.

Meditation is the best way of listening. Visualization is the best way of creating the next step on your path. (Everything in the universe responds to visuals and feelings; it’s how we create experiences in the physical world.) Visualization plus positive feelings can create rapid change. (If you can’t visualize, find an image. Look at it and develop a positive, flowing feeling.)

Part of the path is learning about the duality of life. You learn what and who brings alignment with the heart. These experiences teach about energy, boundaries, and how to live your life—as well as speaking your truth. Everything is energy, and it’s how you learn to read it.

Courage is required on the path of the heart. You move through fear and limitation to become more of who you truly are. In the big picture, it teaches you to see the larger part of yourself—and to align with it.  It’s how you travel to your inner self.

Through this process, you learn practices of connection. You learn to listen to your heart, and you learn how to find the light, which illuminates your journey.

May’s Full Moon/Wesak

May’s Full Moon marks the passage of Wesak, the celebration of Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and death. After Buddha’s birth, the legend tells he took seven steps, and a lotus appeared in each of the steps. The forces of his enlightenment flood the planet on this day—a dispensation to all who are aware and open.

Appearing on May 18, the full moon is placed in the water sign of Scorpio, hinting at the power of transformation. The Sun is in Taurus, an earth sign ruled by Venus, and Moon in Scorpio bring fertility to the earth, encouraging germination, growth, and fulfillment. (It’s a wonderful time to add plants or seeds to the garden, and the same is true for tending and developing desires and dreams.)

Five planets in Taurus bestow a feeling of connection with nature and the heart. They also ground us, blocking from lower vibrations from the outer world. Taurus helps in creating abundance, feeling the goodness of the world, and discovering self-worth in the physical world.

A Grand Trine, which is both beneficial and harmonious, is formed between Moon (inner self, emotions), Neptune (illusion, mysticism), and North Node (spiritual direction and imperative). By aligning our emotions with the Divine, we can move in the direction of greater spirituality, which brings lightness, happiness, and relief.

Sun (life, light) trines Saturn (karma, time), enhancing our ability to focus, concentrate, and build new structures in life through heart-felt devotion. Sun trines (harmonious) Pluto (subconscious, transmutation); this aspect gives powers of rejuvenation, courage, and the ability to rebuild life in a new form.  Sun conjuncts (close to, amplifies) Mercury (communication), and it sharpens the intellect and intuition.

Moon (emotions, feminine, moods) in Scorpio opposes Mercury (communication), creating a mixture of confusion and clarity. When our mood changes, we may feel mental confusion—or we may feel very clear, depending on the wave of energy. Moon sextiles (positive) Saturn (limitation, karma) and Pluto (subconscious, transmutation), which can aid with positive use of resources in rebuilding and/or recreating our lives. (Both Saturn and Pluto can represent resources.) Moon trines (positive, harmonious) Neptune (illusion, mysticism), and it can open our consciousness to deep states of devotion and focused meditation.

Mercury is highlighted in the chart through aspects with Sun/Moon/Saturn/Pluto. With this emphasis, it’s important to contemplate thoughts that align the heart and mind—and lead to expansion and happiness. Mercury (communications, higher mind) trines (harmonious) Saturn, and this aspect can add diligence and persistence to our spiritual quest as well as clarity of mind. Mercury trines Pluto (subconscious, transmutation), enhancing our ability to find hidden answers such as esoteric realizations and insights into subconscious patterns.

Venus, the planet of love and beauty, in Taurus conjuncts (close to) Uranus (sudden change, quantum field). This placement can open our hearts to universal love and/or make our emotions about love move erratically. (The challenge lies discerning in source of emotion—subconscious or higher self.) Venus’ influence is felt throughout chart with five planets in Taurus. It urges awareness of the physical world, grounding in nature, and learning the right way of creating a life that aligns with the heart.

Mars (action, male energy) is placed in Cancer, a feminine water sign, and it tends to heighten emotion instead of inspiring action. It’s important to know that emotions are not always real, and they change in accordance to various stimuli. Fortunately, Mars is in opposition to Jupiter (good fortune, expansion), and this aspect encourages boldness, forward movement, and confidence.

Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) sits in Sagittarius, encouraging spiritual growth and realization. Jupiter squares (tension) Neptune (illusion, mysticism). The aspect indicates a time for releasing old beliefs, illusions, and expectations. Confusion, disorganization, and illusion can accompany the square. When we move through illusion, we discover greater truths.

Saturn (limitation, karma, structure) conjuncts Pluto (subconscious, transmutation) in Capricorn. The conjunction can affect commerce, income, and resources. It also asks for rebuilding life in the areas of goals, dreams, and ambitions. At its best, it moves us through worries and fears, teaching us to replace limitations with success.

Neptune (mysticism, illusion) sextiles Pluto (subconscious, transmutation), which heightens our ability to transcend limitations through an exalted, meditative state. Neptune trines North Node (spiritual direction), which encourages finding and aligning with our inner compass on a higher level.

Many planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter) aspect Pluto, indicating the importance of observing our subconscious patterns, which cause limitation and darkness, while learning how to embrace, transmute, and integrate this energy on a higher level in the coming New Age. (Think of many people observing their personal darkness and illuminating it with light.)

NOTES:

The repetitive theme of reflection on love and thought is obvious throughout the chart. With five planets placed in Taurus, which is ruled by Venus, it’s wise to contemplate our definition of love and its expansion in life. It’s important to contemplate creating a beautiful life that we love. It’s also about feeling the flow of nature in daily life. (In alchemy, nature holds and demonstrates the secrets of inner growth.)

When the planets are peaceful and harmonious, the challenge lies in making time for devotion and creating change. It’s easy to relax in the beauty and float through life, but the universe asks for constant awareness of the inner self and evolution.

There are two strong energies within the chart. One asks for push and drive with ambition, projects, and creation a new life. The other asks for interpretation of mystical energies in a quiet, reflective state. It’s a way of combining the passive and action aspects of duality.

Sabian Symbols, based on the work of Lynda Hill

Sun is on Taurus 28, “A Woman in Middle Life Stands in Rapt, Sudden Realization of Forgotten Charms, in Unexpected Recovery of Romance.” It’s never too late to rediscover love or life; the potential always exists. The symbol depicts remembering a “lost” part of the self and finding it again when experiencing a higher vibration. (We integrate many parts of the self on the spiritual path.)

Moon sits on Scorpio 21, “Obeying His Conscience, A Soldier Resists Orders.” It’s a perfect symbol for the Scorpio moon, which opposes Mercury (thought). In this case, conscience refers to the inner self, and orders may refer to thought (Mercury) and moods (Moon). The heart is the place where we can literally review both thought and mood.

Mercury is placed on Taurus 24, “An Indian Warrior Riding Fiercely with Human Scalps Hanging at His Belt”.  The symbol refers to vengeance, territories, and disputes. It also speaks of the importance of evolving beyond these types of basic needs.

Venus sits on Taurus 4, “The Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow.” It’s a beautiful symbol, depicting the possibility of aligning with the Divine. We find the treasure through our imagination, spiritual yearnings, and consistent work.

Mars sits on Cancer 2, “A Man on a Magic Carpet Observes Vast Vistas Below”. The symbol suggests the importance of traveling through life on a higher frequency, which elevates consciousness above problems and the mundane in life. From this perspective, it’s possible to find unseen answers from this place of detachment.

Jupiter is on Sagittarius 23, “A Group of Immigrants Fulfilling the Requirements for Entering A New Country.” It could refer to the New Age and the requirements of higher consciousness. We are literally learning a new language through intuition and compassion as we become re-oriented to the new energies.

Quick Visualizations

I love quick visualizations because they work. They also teach development of the imagination and spiritual skills. These exercises are among my favorites because they are effective for almost everyone. (Fortunately, the current changes in energy make visualizations more effective.)

LOVE

  • Visualize the happiest, best moments of your life when you felt truly loved–when love lifted you into a higher place of being.
  • Visualize and experience how it feels when you receive love and acceptance from someone you love along with a wave of joy. (Think about how you receive love as well. In other words, define it.)
  • Visualize how it feels when you love your life, and life opens to embrace you. This opens to door to a great deal of love.

ABUNDANCE

  • Visualize more abundance in your accounts whenever you think of money. (See more money in your wallet or hand.)
  • Send light blue light to your bills to reduce them.
  • Smile and see money coming to you in a positive, supportive way.
  • By understanding and feeling the abundant nature of the universe, you alter your perception of the events in your life, which can positively affect the flow of prosperity in life.

CAREER

  • Visualize new people in your life who want to help with your career–and who know how to do it.
  • Visualize emails and phone calls from people who are interested in your work and respond positively.
  • See every answer (whether positive or negative) as a response from the universe. If it’s not the right reply, the answer is on the way.
  • Your career grows by attracting the right people and events that are in flow with the universe’s plan. By focusing on growth (or easy, positive change), you align with expansion, one of the principles of the universe.

HEALTH

  • Visualize the sensation of your body when it is healthy and happy. Send light to every molecule in your body as well as the spaces between the molecules.
  • Visualize having more energy and easily maintaining a better diet and exercise routine.
  • Imagine receiving 2x the rest when you sleep.
  • Imagine feeling happy and energized when you awaken.
  • The physical body loves it when our thoughts and emotions unite positively with it. It may take a few days or weeks to respond, but the body will absorb loving, positive thoughts and demonstrate them.

SPIRITUALITY

Obviously, these exercises depend on your spiritual connection. You envision love from the heart, and you create it in life by meditating and cultivating it. Through connection, you develop faith to practice and develop accurate visualization.

By working with the visualizations, you develop a habit of finding and aligning with a higher frequency.

Thoughts about the Heart

In the heart chakra, there are the answers that we have searched for all along. We find the answers, little by little, as we change our frequencies. Our frequencies can change very quickly or very slowly, depending on how much we are willing to change our lives. This desire for change is awakened in the heart by joy.

It is the quest of the heart to desire expansion, to desire greater fulfillment and freedom. It is this expansion that opens our hearts to enlightenment. An experience of joyful enlightenment creates a natural desire for more of this experience. Our journey continues as a reflection of our spiritual nature in physical form.

Part of the continuation of the journey is the creation of the true self. The true self lives in the human heart. It is the place of intersection or the nexus for the soul and body, the resolution of duality. As the spiritual and physical nature merge, the soul casts light on the ego. The integration of the ego, as shaped by the soul, forms a third thing, known as the True Self. This is the experience of an outer reality that is based on the experience of the inner life. It is a cognitive journey

When we begin to receive messages from our heart, we essentially cast light on the darkness of the ego. For this reason, we may experience pain on our journey. (It’s not new pain, and it comes with the understanding that our patterns, memories, and responses are part of the darkness in our lives—and finding light is the panacea. It teaches us how to change both perceptions and beliefs.)

Moments of enlightenment begin as flashes. We learn to search within the heart, for it is said to be the plumb line that measures the depth and safety of the waters in which the seeker travels. Our  conflicting experience of reality becomes evident through witnessing the profound love of our glorious connection and the darkness of the separation when disconnected.

The darkness of separation is mitigated by discipline and changing our own character. There is a point when we understand that we are the creators – at least, in part – of the difficult circumstances in our lives. This experience of duality lessens through changing ourselves.

When we change ourselves, we experience a profound shift in vibratory frequency. We understand that the difficulties were necessary for the evolution of our soul. As we learn to love our journey as well as the darkness in our lives, we begin to love ourselves. We move into the love of the heart that is conscious awakening. This love opens a profound door to expression and expansion. As we love ourselves more, we learn how to love the fabric of the Universe.

5 Reasons to Open Your Heart

The Heart lies at the center of your being. The soul speaks through the heart and gives loving guidance. In metaphysics, the first true awakening comes through the heart center. Knowing and listening to your heart is a powerful tool. Here are five good reasons for working with this powerful center.

  • Truth and love flow through the heart. It is how we feel our alignment with the universe. The head generates many thoughts and ideas, but we feel their value through the heart. We move into a space of love by listening to the heart. We can actually weigh ideas through the heart. “Listen” and “feel” through the heart. Does the idea make your chest expand or contract? (For a year, I used this practice by asking if a thought came from the heart or not-self.) The universe speaks through the heart.
  • We receive and generate love through the heart space. We can ask for love or pink light. We can imagine a ray of pink light entering our chests and healing our body, emotions, and thoughts. When we feel love, we naturally radiate it out into the world. (True abundance comes from the space of the heart and alignment with universal love.)
  • We can discern between personal truth and non-truth by listening to the heart. There is a light, warm, easy feeling when thoughts resonate with the heart. We feel other thoughts in the head or pelvis area—the ones not resonating with the heart.) The heart moves us toward our dreams. The heart also tells us when there is dissonance in our environment because there is an uneasy feeling. It’s helpful to ask what can be changed and if we can take an action. Sometimes, the action is as simple as sitting outdoors or taking a break. We discern the right answer or simply move into a still place where we wait for the arrival of the answer.
  • The heart provides balance. Positioned in the center of the chakra system, it balances the physical chakras and spiritual chakras. As human beings, we have many desires at a given time. By listening to the heart, we can create a balance between physical routine and spiritual practice.
  • Passion is one of the biggest and best reasons for opening the heart. Spiritual passion pulls us into expression, enthusiasm, and ecstasy. The heart delights in the sensations of love and life. Through the heart, we experience expansion of life. We find the words, images, or actions to reflect beauty and joy. We find the courage to inspire, go forward, and express our gifts. (It’s not enough to push through life!) Passion is magical. It’s about wanting a desire enough to take a big step!

7 Tips for Raising Consciousness

Raising consciousness can help as the planetary weather draws our attention to aspects of life, which require our energy and/or a change in perspective. Problems and issues occur on a lower wave of consciousness—a lower vibration. When we raise our consciousness, we can see them from a different perspective.

It’s important because we tend to see what we do wrong when we’re correcting or examining an issue. Although the solutions are not always easy, we can find the strength to see life differently, take the next step, or calm our emotions. (Many of us are clearing patterns from past lifetimes. It’s hard work, and it takes energy.)

Raising consciousness is fairly simple. It may take several repetitions for a day or two, but it’s doable. Choose from the exercises to discover what works best for you.

1) Focus on the heart chakra where emotions are balanced. There is no motion—only unconditional love. You can see pink or emerald green light in heart space or middle of the chest (and emanate it into the space around you.) Simply thinking about the heart chakra takes you into a softer, quieter place. The heart is the center of your chakra system. This exercise balances the energy of the lower and upper chakras.

2) All problems relate to some form of fear. (Everyone has it although I think humanity is moving out of it.) Imagine the energy of your problem and send love to it. Love diminishes fear, and it will alter your consciousness temporarily. After all, the issue is “up” for examination, clearing, and healing. You’ll feel freer without it.

3) Problems tend to repeat on a cyclical basis. Changing emotions, reactions, and thoughts is part of clearing it. Any success with an aspect of a problem will reduce it–although it may return. (It’s easy to see how other people have repeating problems, and it’s difficult to see it within the self.) Eventually, you have insights, understanding, and changed behavior as a result of the problem. It tends to disappear at this point.

4) Emotions do not always emanate from you. If you briefly feel sad, angry, or another strong emotion–and the emotion grows stronger–it is probably not your emotion. You can ask for a higher level of consciousness and to disconnect from mass consciousness. (It often requires several “takes” for this to work.) When your emotions clear, take a few minutes to visualize your desired future. This practice brings in more love and courage as well as a higher vibration.

5) The practice of meditation lifts you to a higher place of being. Visualizing beautiful events and outcomes from a place of higher spiritual focus helps to bring them into being; it also raises the vibration of all of the particles in your personal reality.

6) Call on the angels or write an angel letter. Angels wait for your call. You can ask for angels to surround you with feelings of peace, bliss, happiness, or understanding. You can also ask for their help with a problem. (I’ve found it’s best to ask for their help to come softly, gently, and joyously to avoid abrupt changes in my life. The gentle changes feel nicer.)

7) Nature wants to help with your healing process. Energy collects in body as a result of spiritual, emotional, or mental tension. You can sit outdoors and ask for energy to heal your body or clear the mind. Walking in nature quiets the soul. The colors, shapes, and patterns are perfect for the body. You’ve walked enough when the mind becomes quiet without interruptions from thoughts. These techniques are particularly helpful when you ask for the healing presence of nature.

These practices often lead to non-ordinary solutions, realizations, and intuitions..

February’s Full Snow Moon

The night sky has been incredibly lovely as the almost full moon rises against a periwinkle blue sky. On some nights, the planets are visible and glow like jewels.

This Full  Moon, known as the snow moon, appears on February 19, bringing a relatively pleasant chart. After weeks of clearing emotions and karma, it can feel like a blessing. There are odd contradictions and small challenges, but there are also gifts and supportive energies. It’s a super moon, heightening energy, emotions, and events. The flow of the tide of life increases on the full moon—particularly when it’s close to the earth.

Sun in Pisces symbolizes the importance of emotional, unconditional love, especially when we are connected on a higher level. Unconditional love, which is universal, soothes the waves of thought and emotion. It is a resting place for body and soul. (Pisces also symbolizes two fishes swimming in opposite directions, which indicates how emotion can make life feel confusing and unpredictable.)

Sun sextiles (positive, harmonious) Venus (love) and Neptune (mysticism, idealism), increasing the positive aspects of the placement of the Sun. These aspects can enlarge our capacity to perceive love, beauty, and connection with the Divine.

Moon sits in Virgo, an earth sign, ruling work, practicality, and the physical. With Sun in Pisces and Moon in Virgo, it’s useful to consider the best way of manifesting our desires in physical form. (The Moon trines (harmonious) Mars (energy, male) and Uranus (sudden change, quantum change), creating the opportunity to transform and establish our physical life in harmony with the spiritual plane.

Mercury (communication, electronics) is placed in Pisces, mingling thought and emotion. It also leads to thoughts and images of beauty to elicit the fabric of dreams. Mercury sextiles (positive) Venus (love), Saturn (karma, past), and Pluto (regeneration, subconscious.) Mercury and Venus can heighten feelings of love and/or connection with higher, harmonious feelings. Mercury sextile Saturn can provide resourceful use of lessons learned in the past. Mercury and Pluto together can give power, reveal hidden insights with problems and/or challenges, and help in discovering truth.

Mercury squares Jupiter (expansion), which means our thoughts are not always aligned with the best direction for growth—or it may feel difficult to take the next step into growth. Mercury conjuncts (close) Neptune (mysticism, idealism), and this can make our thought process seem cloudy or ineffective. However, the sextiles (listed above) with Mercury will help in the process of finding the right direction for growth.

Venus sits in Capricorn, a barren earth sign, which is a cold sign for love. Nevertheless, Venus’ relationship with other planets is quite positive. Venus conjuncts (close) Saturn (limitation, karma), and this aspect links artistic ability and perseverance. Venus conjunct Pluto (transformation, subconscious) tends to intensify our need for love and physical attraction.

Mars (action, passion) Is placed in Taurus, an earth sign. Mars moves a bit more slowly in Taurus, slowing passion and desire for action. Mars conjuncts Uranus (sudden action, awakening), which can cause overreaction and the desire to create very sudden change.

Jupiter (expansion, good fortune) is placed in Sagittarius, encouraging a spiritual and/or physical quest. Jupiter trines Uranus (sudden change, quantum field), aiding in the current intermixing of the past and future. Jupiter squares Neptune (mysticism, illusion), which can confuse our sense of the right/wrong direction, and Neptune creates confusion and impractical feelings.

Saturn (limitation, karma) in Capricorn sextiles Neptune, combining discipline, devotion, and imagination to areas of work as well as expression of gifts.   Saturn conjuncts Pluto (the underworld, transformation), and it’s a powerful aspect. Saturn is the past and karma; Pluto reveals the hidden darkness below the surface and transmutes it by revealing it to the light—and the world.

Chiron recently moved into Aries. Previously in Pisces, the ruler of the past age, Chiron is about wounds and healing wounds—and how we perceive life from this perspective. In Pisces, Chiron was involved in healing wounds of a past time.

Aries is the beginning of the astrological wheel that rules the mind. Chiron in Aries may help us in finding new methods through frequencies, magnetism, and heart-felt thought to bring great healing to ourselves and the earth.

Notes:

  • Sun (life, Mercury (communications, mind), and Neptune (mysticism, illusion) can heighten our ability to tune into the divine, increase our perception and intuition, and help with artistic endeavors.
  • Moon (emotions, the mother) helps with practicality and plans in the physical world.
  • Mercury (communication) has excellent aspects with several planets, which encourage sharp, brilliant thought.
  • Mars (action, male) is exerting less push for action in the physical world but conjuncts Uranus (sudden change.) Take time to think before speaking or creating change.
  • Chiron in Aries may provide insights into new methods of healing.
  • We may experience contradictory feelings, or others may act in a similar way. Have patience while we wait for the planets to move.

Sabian Symbols, based on the work of Lynda Hill

Sun is placed on Pisces 1, “A Crowded Market Place”. A Market Place represents a place of exchange, selling, buying, and communicating. Several aspects of a market place concern buying and selling goods—or energy. It’s necessary to determine what’s needed, the fairness of the exchange, and its alignment with who we are.

Moon is on Virgo 1, “In a Portrait, The Best of a Man’s Traits and Character Are Idealized.” This symbol asks for examination of an image presented to the public. It’s important to look beneath the image to see the true characteristics of the depiction of a person.

Mercury sits on Pisces 17, “An Easter Promenade”.  An Easter promenade is the celebration of spring, the beginning of life.  The symbol stretches to include rebirth, fertility, and a social celebration; the choice is ours.

Venus is on Capricorn 17, “A Young Woman Surreptitiously Bathing in the Nude”. Bathing in the nude involves awareness of the sun and earth. It could involve revealing one’s self in a private location or a lack of concern about others. At any rate, it’s a lovely sign for Venus.

Mars is placed on Taurus 4, “The Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow”. This symbol clearly gives the promise of beauty and abundance. (Mars rules action, and the right actions can lead to abundance.)

Opening the Heart Space

Opening our hearts to life is one of the most fulfilling tasks that we can undertake. When the heart chakra opens, we begin to weigh our actions from the heart. The heart is like a plumb line; it tells us when we are centered and when we are not.

Our culture is permeated with messages of “listening to your heart” and “knowing in your heart”. It is in the space of the heart that our true desires reside. The joy of the connection with the “One” or the “All” is felt in the heart. We find true compassion in the heart, not in the mind.

The Egyptians believed that the soul resided in the heart. The Goddess Ma’at weighed the human heart of the dead to discover if the soul had earned paradise in the afterlife.

Tibetan Buddhism describes the heart chakra as an 8 white-petal center that is the seat of the Very Subtle Mind and the Very Subtle Wind. These two qualities are immortal and reside in the seat of the heart from life time to life time. (For this reason, other people are recognizable in other lifetimes.) It is also described as the essence of Absolute Reality.

The heart chakra is the fourth chakra, or the Anahata. It resides in the middle of the chakra system, balancing the 3 lower chakras which rule physical life and the 3 upper chakras, which control our access to spirituality. The heart (Tiphareth) is found in the Middle Pillar of the Kaballah.

The Middle Way or Central Path is a dominant theme in philosophy. Balancing duality is an important task that is achieved by walking the Middle Path. Listening to the heart is the first step on this path. When we think with our heads and hearts in accordance, our actions begin to reflect a balance between thought and emotion. When we are one with the true or authentic self, the ego and soul are integrated. We live from the heart.

Alchemy describes the awakening of the heart chakra as the communication between the heart and the Higher Self or Holy Guardian Angel. As we receive our direction from the heart, our outer direction in life becomes dictated by our inner knowing. We access the truth of our Higher Self and the immortal wisdom of the heart space.

Experiencing Universal Love creates love for the self and others. Love becomes aligned with integrity, and our personal inner truth becomes more valuable. We gain true independence and self-reliance because we begin to relinquish our dependency on the outer world for direction.

We learn to love the light in everyone, but we also learn to value our selves. Love has many faces in the mirror-like quality of our Universe. Restriction/expansion represents an aspect of duality, which relates love. The restrictive nature teaches about boundaries, and the expansive side is about opening to larger realities and possibilities, offering a glimpse into the mystery of the All.

Speaking the truth of our hearts opens corridors of communication. When we live in the knowledge of our hearts, we give and receive equitably. When we are in balance with the One, this energy is reflected outwardly into the All. By simply reflecting on our hearts, we can affect marvelous changes in our lives that ripple outward into the world.

EXERCISES: The wisdom of the heart chakra can be accessed through practice, attention, and a true desire to experience Universal love. You may find that researching the heart chakra and drawing an image of the chakra is helpful and fun.

PINK HEART: Imagine that a beam from the Universe is pouring pink light (love) into the center of the chest. Breathe in this love and allow it flow throughout the entire body. Allow the pink light to flow into the nuclei of each cell and into the spaces between the cells. Remember: the Universe’s capacity to give is infinite. You can receive as much light as you desire. (Note: this exercise is included in last month’s voice stream on manifestation.)

SENDING LIGHT TO OTHERS: You can also radiate this love or pink light to any situation or person. Imagine that the beam of pink light is pouring into your heart chakra. When your heart chakra is full, imagine that your friends and loved ones. See if you can find a location for them or imagine that they are in the room with you. Radiate a beam of pink light to each of them. Return to the present moment and allow more light to flow into your heart chakra. When you share light with others, you increase your capacity to receive light. You should feel slightly energized after the completion of this exercise.

DAILY PRACTICE: Ask yourself several times each day when working, walking or performing daily tasks, “What does my heart think about this? How does my heart feel?” You may ask this question about people, situations, or changes in the flow of life. Eventually, you will “feel” or hear an answer from your inner self. You will know that this is your answer. (Truth is simple so your answer will probably be short.)

She works with people in session to find their resonance with the soul, clearing patterns and alignment with their inner path.If you would like to seek additional spiritual change and insight into your life, please contact me for information about an intuitive session.
