Finding Gratitude

 

The concept of gratitude emerged around a decade ago. Introduced by Stacey Robyn (Go Gratitude), Ester and Jerry Hicks, and discussed in the movie, The Secret, it was touted as a system of creating more good in life. Obviously, gratitude is important, but it’s like so many things–a practice to reap “good” or abundance doesn’t work. (Initially, I remember spending an hour looking around the room while notating items for the expression of gratitude.)

There’s an easier and better method of practicing gratitude. Once you find the missing piece, the practice becomes easy and rewarding. It does reap benefits, but you tend not to care.

Easy Steps For Feeling More Gratitude

1) Nothing truly works without spiritual connection. Connection is the point. Start with meditation, and see where your consciousness moves. Notice how life feels lighter, and everything responds to your deepened state of being. Noticing and observing invoke a state of gratitude.

2) While connected, notice the motion of your consciousness. When you are connected outdoors, you hear the wind more succinctly. You notice the movement of the trees. You hear the birds. You feel the blessing of life. When you are indoors, you may feel the quietness and calm of your meditation. Notice the direction of your senses and the more pleasing objects in the room. (These are blessings. Give thanks.)

3) When you feel strong, happy, or loved, expand the feeling. Imagine more of the feeling, which amplifies the vibration. Amplifying the vibration leads to expansion in life. Expansion and connection are interrelated.

4) When life is moving well, comment to yourself about the feeling of your life. Notice your practices and note your connection. Part of gratitude is simply noticing your blessings.

5) When your efforts make a positive difference, thank the universe. You experience the “good” as part of your connection with the Divine. The same is true with the higher aspects of the self.

6) When you are in a higher state, you naturally notice the good in life. The movement of the mind into the flow of goodness marks a higher state of consciousness. Pay attention. When your attention rests on the good in life, this is a state of gratitude. (Your inner dialog is a good indication of your state of mind.)

Using Gratitude with Problems

It’s the opposite of the practice listed above. The idea is not to notice good things; it’s about changing your focus when you think about problems. Everyone thinks about problems with negative thoughts and emotions—even positive people do this.

Problems are simply where we need more energy or a different type of energy. Energy can include a change in physical routine, a new belief, feeling, or changing the lens of your focus.

  • Remember, you are a creator. You can change your reality by altering your vision and perception of life. You may not know how to do it, but you have the capacity. At least, you can create change. You can feel grateful about your capacity to alter your life, and take a minute or two to see or feel it differently.
  • When you think life is not going well, notice what is okay or bearable. Put your attention on what’s working. Maybe, you don’t have time to do all of your work. But you can do some of it. Notice what you have completed and bless it—or give thanks. In this way, you amplify the good. (When you can’t figure out the next step, visualize it and give thanks for your inner ability.)
  • When you argue with people, remember you have the ability to send light, calm your feelings, or come up with another solution. You can move back into your self-worth and remember what you like about yourself. (If you can, recall what you do like about the other person.) Love is a very special quality of the universe, which changes much of life. When you move back into a state of love, life alters. Thank the universe for the opportunity.
  • If you’ve practiced spiritual work, you know how to center. Everything changes when you center your attention on the presence of your inner self. You will feel grateful without any effort when you achieve it.
  • When you have a difficult day, think about the days that go well. (You’re actually giving gratitude for those times while pushing your energy in the direction of positivity.) Whenever you feel overwhelmed by a problem, notice what isn’t wrong. (If the cake falls, I can make another one or buy one—at least. Maybe, I have to take the animals to the vet, but it’s for a check-up, and nothing’s wrong.) You’re diverting your attention from the problem into the goodness of the moment. It works.

One of the greatest gifts of all is our ability to change our consciousness through connection. It’s a great blessing!

Making Manifestation Work for You!

Manifestation is one of the most incredible tools for creating harmony and happiness. The visualization of the heart’s desire activates a special part of a consciousness, which encourages a positive flow of life. (In general, intuition grows, positive feedback from others ensues, and small miracles occur on the journey to the realization of a“wish”.)

It’s a mystery, but manifestation enlarges the “creator” part of human consciousness, which doesn’t occur during meditation. (Meditation bestows connection with the inner self and the universe at large, but it doesn’t engage the creative process with the inner self.)  “Creation” through visualization and small, physical steps may be part of our next evolutionary step. After all, it is important to listen to our heart and follow its path by creating in the inner/outer world.

  1. Creating a happy, positive reality is part of soul work. It actually aligns you with the universe, awakening hidden abilities and revealing unusual and/or unexpected answers. Generally, it reveals a non-logical but fulfilling path.
  2. Positive manifestation is how you connect to higher consciousness including light, love, and higher realizations. It’s also a way of letting go of who you are not and learning to love who you truly are. (Everyone is already manifesting. A conscious practice is about creating what you want.)
  3. With every manifestation, there is a block or resistance within the self. Let’s call it a mistake in perception, which is corrected by inner work. (It’s obvious how other people block themselves; the challenge lies with seeing the self.) Yes, there is a part of you that blocks the manifestation. (Everyone blocks goodness, abundance, and love. It’s part of what manifestation sets free.)
  4. Manifestation can occur in a few seconds or a few years. It has to do with your evolutionary path, practice, persistence, and other factors such as the people in your life, etc. (On this topic, no one ever regrets the work when the manifestation occurs.) Higher vibrations and positive emotions/thoughts encourage it.
  5. Often, intuition develops sharply as a result of manifestation work. Your gifts may become apparent, and new people often come into your life as a result of inner growth. It’s important to continue your work at this point. (These positive results are known as “rainbows” on the path. They are an indication of positive inner work, but your job is remaining devoted to the next step on the path.)

NOTE:  As you master manifestation, it becomes easy to repeat the steps for yourself, others, and the world. It may be part of how you and the world become conscious together. (Think of 1,000 people with accurate manifestation skills who can see and create wonderful outcomes for the world.)

Tips  on Visualization

  1. Visualization is the first step for manifestation. Make a laser sharp image and focus all of your consciousness on it for 10-15 minutes daily. Imagine living in the image by seeing it as a particular time of day, and you’re “living” in the image for 10 minutes or so.. Notice who accompanies you in the imagery and the passage of events in your life. Accompany the imagery with a positive, happy feeling.
  2. Substitute your imagery for lower feelings. For example, if you’re meditating on money, but bills come in the mail, return the image and make it “real”. It can take many repetitions because your negative feelings and experience may seem more real in the beginning.
  3. It can take a few weeks to master the feeling of the manifestation. For example, if you’re visualizing success, it’s working when you feel more confident. If you’re looking for a better body image, it’s creating a change when you feel better about how you look. (Physical changes follow inner projections, but they often begin with emotional and/or mental shifts.)
  4. You should become more aware of the inner self through your manifestation work. You may hear your inner voice or become more aware of when you’re connected or disconnected. You may also notice that life flows in a specific way with a mood change or a difference in your flow of energy.
  5. You will wonder if it’s working—or when it will work. It’s helpful to tell yourself that it will occur when you’re aligned. (It is happening, but it takes time for energy to translate from the invisible to the visible world.)  From this perspective, try to create positive, small changes in your daily routine and ask how you can become more flexible, compassionate, and loving. Raising Consciousness to a Higher Level

 

Raising your consciousness can help as the planetary weather draws attention to aspects of life, which require our attention and/or a change in perspective. Problems and issues occur on a lower wave of consciousness—a lower vibration. When you raise your consciousness, you can see them from a different perspective.

It’s important because you tend to see yourself as “wrong” when correcting or examining an issue. Although the solutions are not always easy, we can find the strength to see life differently, take the next step, or calm our emotions. (Many of us are clearing patterns from past lifetimes. It’s hard work, and it takes energy.)

When you want to raise your consciousness, it’s fairly simple. It may take several repetitions for a day or two, but it’s doable. Choose from the exercises to discover what works best for you.

1) Focus on the heart chakra where emotions are balanced. There is no motion—only unconditional love. You can see pink or emerald green light in heart space or middle of the chest (and emanate it into the space around you.) Simply thinking about the heart chakra takes you into a softer, quieter place. The heart is the center of your chakra system. This exercise balances the energy of the lower and upper chakras.

2) All problems relate to some form of fear. (We all have it although I think humanity is moving out of it.) Imagine the energy of your problem and send love to it. Love diminishes fear, and it will alter your consciousness temporarily. After all, the issue is “up” for examination, clearing, and healing. You’ll feel freer without it.

3) Emotions do not always emanate from you. If you briefly feel sad, angry, or another strong emotion–and the emotion grows stronger–it is probably not your emotion. You can ask for a higher level of consciousness and to disconnect from mass consciousness. (It often requires several “takes” for this to work.) When your emotions clear, take a few minutes to visualize your desired future. This practice brings in more love and courage as well as a higher vibration.

4) Call on the angels or write an angel letter. Angels wait for your call. You can ask for angels to surround you with feelings of peace, bliss, happiness, or understanding. You can also ask for their help with a problem. (I’ve found it’s best to ask for their help to come softly, gently, and joyously to avoid abrupt changes in my life. The gentle changes feel nicer.)

5) Nature wants to help with your healing process. Energy collects in body as a result of spiritual, emotional, or mental tension. You can sit outdoors and ask for energy to heal your body or clear the mind. Walking in nature quiets the soul. The colors, shapes, and patterns are perfect for the body. You’ve walked enough when the mind becomes quiet without interruptions from thoughts. These techniques are particularly helpful when you ask for the healing presence of nature.

These practices often lead to non-ordinary solutions, realizations, and intuitions.

Mastering the Waves of Change

 

When the whole world is changing, it’s helpful to remember how change can become the vehicle for your “right” destination.  Everyone desires change, but it’s easy to encounter resistance during the process. Almost everyone experiences stress (resistance) when listening to the soul because it means living life in an entirely, different way.

Here are a few tips:

  1. It’s a gift to watch the entire world change. Your inner vision of life is accepted and needed. A huge dispensation of light is filling the planet. (Who would want to miss it?) It’s also a opportunity to raise your frequency.
  2. This is a rare time. When you center in the heart, there is a palpable love vibration. You can feel higher collective consciousness. When you join with the higher vibration, there is incredible support. The veil between the physical and spiritual realms is thinner. It’s easier to have the support of angels and beings of light.
  3. It is challenging to experience the waves of change, particularly the waves of chaos and lower energies in the world at large. However, your positive changes help everyone and everything. Think of it as small steps to bring your best vision of the world into being.
  4. It’s “normal” to feel unstable when passing through the process of collecting more light in your life. It’s also wonderful to “hear’ your inner knowing answer questions, provide a calm state, and connect to the All. (It’s not always easy to know if you’re right or wrong, but you learn this over time.)
  5. It’s partially a lesson about manifestation. Everything is manifesting much more quickly, including our lower and higher thoughts and emotions. As consciousness grows, life manifests more rapidly.You also become more aware of other people–their moods, thoughts, and energy fields. As you learn to read this through the heart, you become more adept.
  6. Love is the key to mastering duality. It’s how you ride through the high and low feelings of oscillation. These swings of consciousness can be useful in learning to align with the heart space where unconditional love abides.
  7. Change is the path to the realization of the higher self and its manifestation. Every manifestation creates a “new” self, which is more aligned with the inner self. This means casting off the old self, who began the work on the manifestation. (The resistance is felt by the “old” or lower self, which is casting off old emotions, beliefs, and thoughts.) When the new self is born, it is a beautiful event.

Staying More Connected

  • Your inner power is found through meditation, contemplation, and seeing life from a different perspective. It begins with the desire to connect deeply with the universe. Practicing daily and developing consistency are the first steps. Seeking the “feeling” of receiving insight also helps.
  • Peace is within you. It’s important to find the “emotion” within you. The placement of your consciousness determines the flow of your energy. When you are quiet “within”, the world around you becomes still. You can move into peace.
  • When you seek, imagine, and dwell in a specific point of consciousness, it becomes easier to find it. For example, if you focus on higher consciousness or awakening, you will find more of it. If you recall a peaceful state, it’s easier to create it in the “now.”
  • Higher and lower emotions exist. Events, people, and situations cause your inner feelings to move, but you have the choice to return to “center.” Being centered comes through practice, concentration, and spiritual support from the universe.
  • The universe replicates your internal state. When you move into a place of calm and peace, you actually generate those vibrations into your “reality.”

Full Moon Forecast: The Crossroads of Change

 

 

The full moon on Oct. 24 presents a crossroads for many on the spiritual path. Filled with feminine signs, the chart can offer a passage to the new world. There’s a great deal of emphasis on Uranus, the planet of awakening and sudden change. On the highest frequency, Uranus teaches us how to enter the quantum field where we commune with light and love. On the lower frequency, it compounds our problems, making them feel like the downside of a roller coaster.

However, we hold the power to make positive changes, and the energy only lasts for a week or two. Sun (life), Mercury (communications), Venus (love, beauty), and Jupiter (good fortune) are placed in Scorpio, the sign of the scorpion that rules magnetism, sexuality, and birth/death. Moon and Uranus are in Taurus. There’s also a Grand Cross, which asks us to let go of fixed ideas and thoughts while opening up to new and larger truths. (In metaphysics, crosses represent mastery of the four elements – the four aspects of self on the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical plane.)

Moon is on Taurus 2, “An Electrical Storm Illuminates the Heavens and Forests”, indicating strong energies during the lunation. Electrical storms clear the air, indicating it may clear our minds of stringent thoughts. Wherever lightning strikes the earth, it holds an electro-magnetic charge, which was used for absorption of energy by ancient Chi Gong masters. Moon trines Saturn (time, limitation), increasing stability and giving grounding energy. Moon conjuncts Uranus (quantum field, sudden change), which heightens intuition, inventive ideas, and tendency for impulsiveness.

Mercury (communications) is placed in Scorpio. (Think of playing a detective in a cosmic mystery.) We want to explore and find the truth about life—and communicate it. Mercury (communication) squares Mars (assertion, male energy), creating tension between thought and action. Mercury is conjunct (close to) Jupiter, encouraging our quest for truth. Both signs are in Scorpio, heightening the tendency to look successfully beneath the surface for answers to find good fortune, expansion, and growth. Mercury trines (harmonious) Neptune (mysticism, illusion) and aids in seeing behind the veil of illusion.

Venus remains retrograde in Scorpio until mid-November, making review and recreation of love relationships and partnerships (of all kinds) of great importance. Venus sextiles Saturn (time, limitation), which gives stability and structure. Venus also opposes Uranus, causing sudden erratic changes in emotion, particularly with those we love. Venus trines (harmonious) Neptune, extending ability to tap into mysticism, align with beauty, and enhance intuition.

Mars (action, male energy) sits in Aquarius, an air sign ruling thought and humanitarian endeavors. Mars in Aquarius tends cause overthinking instead of directed action. Thoughts tend to overwhelm. Mars squares Jupiter, causing tension between our desire to act and good fortune.

The Grand Cross

On a higher level, the Grand Cross gives an opportunity to move beyond fixed ideas into a broader, happier spiritual perspective. The Cross consists of aspects between fixed signs, but Uranus, the planet of awakening, is heavily involved in the cross.

The North and South Nodes, indicating our spiritual direction for growth and tendency to repeat particular skills instead of growing respectively, square the Sun, Moon, Venus, and Uranus. In short, it’s time to release aspects of the self by growing into a larger image of self. (We find that image in the quantum field, the place of light and love.)

Outer Planets

Jupiter, the planet of expansion, trines the North Node, the direction of growth. The trine helps in finding courage to move beyond limitation and fear. Saturn (time, karma) trines Uranus, bringing together the best of the past and future.(Trines are harmonious and help with manifestation.)

Chiron, the wounded healer, makes trines with Mercury (communications) and Jupiter (expansion), indicating that looking beneath the surface can help in creating a better life.  Saturn (time, karma) squares Chiron, creating tension between our karmic wounds and desire to heal.

Tips:

  • It’s a strong feminine chart, which should feel nurturing and grounding with many planets in earth and water. But several aspects in the chart cause tension, creating pressure to change and embrace life with a higher point of view. (It’s likely that we’ll move back and forth between the relative support of the feminine energies and the desire to act and/or change.)
  • Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Taurus is a powerful combination for fertility, creation, and manifestation. With the overall elements of the chart in play, it’s important to focus on the positive. (Try to hold a positive thought or image for every negative. Move into gratitude when life seems heavy or limiting.)
  • Venus retrograde continues to create pressure around relationships. It’s difficult to say how we feel in our hearts during this time, so practice sending light before speaking – and focus on the higher forces of love.
  • The Grand Cross puts a great deal of pressure on our fixed beliefs, and it’s up to us to continue with them or expand into a higher state of mind. Sometimes, it’s difficult to release them. If this is the case, restrain from sudden action or expression. Give it time and thought. Come back to the universal mind.
  • Our emotions will probably run hot and cold during this period. We’ll feel life quite strongly, but we have many resources such as the grounding offered through Saturn (time, structure) and Moon in Taurus. There are also aspects such Venus trine Neptune, combining love and mysticism to help in seeing and finding spiritual truth amidst the illusion of duality in life.

Sun is on Scorpio 1, “A Broken Bottle and Spilled Perfume”. The evidence of breaking and spilling an object is apparent from the fragrance in the air. Breaking can refer to outgrowing an aspect of life and bursting from a container — or mistakenly spilling something valuable.

Moon is on Taurus 2, “An Electrical Storm Illuminates the Heavens and Forests”. The dramatic symbol points to a powerful change in weather, which can refer to our perception of life. The lightning bolt also refers to the moment of enlightenment.

Mercury sits on Scorpio 22, “Hunters Protected by Heavy Clothing Are Shooting Wild Ducks”. The interesting symbol can indicate the need for protection while seeking nourishment, a barrier between the self and the weather, or seeing hunting as sport and/or fun.

Venus is placed on Scorpio 5, “A Massive Rocky Shore Resists the Pounding of the Sea”. Water represents emotions, and the rocky shore may symbolize how our fixed beliefs and emotions resist the sea. It can also refer to the need to stay strong in the face of the emotions (drama) of others.

Mars sits on  Aquarius 18, “A Man Being Unmasked at a Masquerade”, This symbol refers to seeing beneath the surface to find the “true” person. We all wear masks, developed through experiences in life. When we look beneath them, we learn a great deal.

Jupiter is placed on Scorpio 27, “A Military Band Marches Through City Streets”. Bands marching through city streets create a display of alliance. It’s easy to see current energies voiced through loud displays on various social media.

Overcoming Darkness with Light

 

Sometimes, the world seems dark and strange. It’s difficult not to feel specific world events or significant weather, but it’s important to raise our vibration–if we want things to change in a positive sense.

 Below are a few of my favorite techniques. These tips and techniques are helpful in raising our vibration and seeing the goodness in the world. By raising our vibration, we move back into peace and harmony, which pulls in the frequency of positive change.

  1. Affirm the power of love and have faith in the universe. Believing in the power of love and light is part of utilizing it. (The “feeling” and faith are part of sending light. Visualization and connection are also important.)
  2. Send light and love to the geographical location of any disturbance. Send light to everyone who is involved in the problem. Imagine love and light changing and raising the energy of the location.
  3. Focus on peace. We can radiate it through ourselves–and out into the world. Make a strong choice about placement of consciousness. Encourage others to do the same.
  4. See the opposite of a current situation. See peace instead of violence.  See a safe and beautiful world. (Take 5 or 10 minutes to “see” this clearly.)
  5. Believe in the power of spiritual work. Meditating, thinking positive thoughts, and helping others do a great deal in creating a better world. The work helps, and the desired change is coming.
  6. Avoid reactive people. It’s impossible to observe when people strongly express their opinion. Stay neutral and work from a place of love. Observe and detach from the media. (We’re leaving the time of Kali Yuga when negative vibrations were attractive and inviting. The media makes life seem worse by focusing on negativity. Choose to be different and stay focused on the positive.)
  7. KNOW there is a great deal of love on this planet. We may not always see it, but love and light are the underlying fabric of matter. And the light is growing. (A good intuitive can “see” it.)

Specific Tips

  • Weather. It’s best to work with severe weather by thinking about the geographical area and sending love (pink light) to loved ones and the beauty of the location. Imagine love like a soft, pink cloud, covering and protecting everything. (Please don’t try to move the storm.)
  • People When experiencing irritation, disagreement, or negative energy with a loved one or friend, pull back from the situation. Refrain from thoughts identifying the other person as “wrong”. See a solution strongly and surrender the situation to the universe. (Whenever possible, do not dwell on negative thoughts and feelings about the other person. Think about their strengths and positive skills.) It can take a few weeks for the energy to change, but a different, calmer feeling should come in a few days. (Don’t share opinions while the energy is changing!)
  • More People. Learn to detect the energetics of a person, which goes beyond actions and words. Notice wishes for changes in their behavior and pull personal desires back. Gently project happiness for the person.
  • Social Media New, and Politics. Allow other people to have judgments. Don’t correct them. Make the experience about remaining neutral and positing positive information.When we remain neutral, the person will seek out someone who strongly agrees or disagrees. In general, negative people want negative energy. Don’t play the game. (Also, people learn from mistakes, and we are not their teachers – unless they ask.)
  • Pause. Situations often change when we don’t react, talk, or think about them. Pausing returns us to the inner self where unusual and happy answers are discovered. When in this quiet place, reflect on the beauty of the inner self and the physical world.

Finding Stillness in the Inner Self

 

Meditation brings a point of connection with the universe—the divine stillness. Everything ceases its motion in the exchange between our human self and soul. Beauty pours into our awareness. Physical sensations calm, and emotions become joyful as thought ceases. The illusion ends temporarily along with the sensation of cascading from one task to another. Light fills our countenance, altering and smoothing our vibrations and moods.

The stillness refers to an illuminated state, the search for light and a response from the universe. With practice, the energetic exchange can come on a daily basis—giving insight and inspiration to our daily lives. In the stillness, the heart speaks with a soft voice. It provides gentle guidance, which often feels like positive preferences or inclinations to move through life more softly (a slower pace.) From this point, emotions and thoughts become quiet. Intuition grows like the soft light dawn, illuminating the passage of our spiritual quest.

Often, we can feel the answers within us—even if we lack the knowledge of “how” to find the way. By meditating on the feeling of the calm (and unknown) answer, we find our way. We learn to substitute calm for agitation and how to push away negative thoughts and emotions until we find our true understanding about them. The stillness usually gives a feeling before it brings an answer. By meditating on the feeling, we essentially ask for more knowledge about the answers.

The same is true with gifts. We find our gifts by taking one step at a time toward the illumination of the true self and following our passion instead of pushing it away. There is also a quality of trust. It’s important to trust the information received in meditation and to believe in our power to bring it to fruition.

Life involves a dance between the True Self and the Not Self (the part of us that lives life in a way that we don’t like.) Meditation on the still point leads us into discovering our true feelings and preferences so we can take proper action. It also reveals the peaceful, joyful feelings of the true self, which are always present if we stay with our work—even when it takes longer than we would like.

Tips:

  1. It’s helpful to recall the state of connection before meditating.
  2. When emotions are wild or discordant, acknowledge it. Imagine pink or light blue light pouring into your emotions and the perception of your problem. Focus on how you feel when life goes well.
  3. Trust your ability to tap into the stillness and find answers.
  4. Observe when the mind chatters or focuses on problems. Problems often change when we admit our real feelings and involvement.
  5. Believe in your power to commit to change.
  6. Imagine your life moving in a peaceful flow.
  7. It’s a process. It doesn’t happen overnight. Energy vacillates. You will experience highs and lows. It’s part of the human condition. Send love to lows and give gratitude for breakthroughs.

5 Exercises for Positive Change and Increased Awareness

You can improve your life in a few days or weeks by repeating 1 or more of the exercises on a daily basis. As your emotions and thoughts alter, your life will change and move into a higher frequency.

True spiritual work is a short cut. The higher vibrations are more powerful than those encountered in daily life, and they have the potential to cut through karma (accumulated negativity and blocks) quickly. When you’re open to spiritual energy and free of old patterns, you have the freedom to create a better, happier life.

Here are the exercises. Feel free to edit and improvise.

  1. Focus on 4 or 5 happy memories. It’s best to choose memories that are associated with a time when you were in the flow of life and experiencing a sense of strong connection. Focus on each of the memories for about 30-60 seconds. After several practice periods, the happy feeling should stay with you for an hour or more. (This exercise is a personal favorite.)
  2. Think about what you like about yourself. Look at your accomplishments. Notice what you like about your body. Note your good qualities that you share with your friends, loved ones, and the world. Notice your light.
  3. Open your heart. Imagine a huge ray of beautiful pink light moving into your heart chakra. Feel your heart expand and accept the universal love. Contemplate the beauty of a boundless love and light that wants to support you and help you in life.
  4. Send light to your problems. Feel them fade away in the light. Notice the difference in how you feel about life. (You may feel more courage, ease, or calm.) Imagine a future version of yourself with the problem resolved.
  5. Become more aware of yourself. Focus your consciousness on your hands and feet while performing routine tasks. Feel your physical body. Become very present. Notice how awareness of the present moment and the physical world expands your consciousness and brings you into awakening.
